Export calendar

when I export my calendar, the only file extension available is ".dba"  I can't figure out how to read this type of file with MS Word, Excel or Notepad.  Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Post relates to: Centro (AT&T)

Unfortunatly, thats the only file ext. available for calendar in PDS. So its hard to open it in any other application..The only way to export it to .CSV (excel) is to sync you device to outlook then export it from there

    I am using Iphoto 11 ver 9.4.3 on mac using oxs 10.8.5 i want to export calendar projects to an external hard drive. my goal is to store them in an external hard drive so it doesn't use up memory on the mac hard drive. is it possible to copy the specific projects without copying the entire library? what is the easiest way to do this? i have tried export and import but it didn't seem to work.

    What do you not understand?
    You can duplicate the iPhoto library (command - D ) and delete everything except the project and its photos from the copy and move that
    Or
    However the calendar takes very little space - it is simpy database entries - it is the photos in the calendar that take space - and for most people you would wnat to keep those photos in your library
    you can use a photo in 50 calendars and it still is only one photo in your library - as I explained calenders do not exist as such - they are simply database entries telling iPhotop how to display the calendar - they take almost no space at all

  • Exporting Calendar and Palm Desktop Quits

    No device
    I am planning on saying goodbye to my Palm after 3 devices and at least 10 years of loyalty.  On Thursday, I'll be ordering an iPhone.  I have already exported my Contacts to Address Book, no problem.  But when I try to export my calendar to iCal (in a vCal format) it starts exporting and then the entire program quits.  I spent over 2 hours with Palm Chat Support last night.  We did a clean install of Palm Desktop.  Still can't do it.  I have DBFixit on my phone.  I ran that and it still doesn't work.  I have a lot of information on my calendar.  Could that be the problem?  I would hate to have to hand transfer all of my information onto my new phone.  Does anyone have any ideas?

  • Export Calendar File

    I'm working on a calendar for a friend on their computer. I was wondering if there was a way for me to export the calendar file, where ever that is, to a format that I can upload to my public iDisk Folder & then import into my iPhoto at home? Hope that makes sense.

    Joe:
    The only way would be to duplicate your iPhoto library folder, open it with iPhoto (launch with the Option key depressed and select the other library folder when asked) and delete all of the photos that are not in the calendar. This will leave a small iPhoto Library folder that can be uploaded to your iDisk or burned to a CD for transporting to your Mac at home.
    Then copy that folder to the desktop and open it with iPhoto as described above. If you need additional photos in the calendar library you can do that with iPhoto Library Manager which will let you select albums or rolls from one library and transfer to another. You'll need the purchased version to do more than 10 at a time.
    It's a good way of working on books also, creating a separate library for each. That way when the book is complete and ordered, you can burn that folder to a CD via the Finder for use later if you want to order another copy.
    Do you Twango?
    TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.

  • Switch Device for Palm Desktop hangs exporting calendar entries

    The software appears to hang after exporting 86/176 entries.  I can export the calendar from Palm Desktop itself fine.  Is there a way to determine which entry is 86th to see if rem oving it might make the software continue.  POther ways to export my calendar (and maybe contacts) from the Palm?
    Thanks,

  • IMac to MacBook Pro exporting calendars

    I have made about 15 bespoke calendars for various dog owners, now some of them would like to see them before they go off to print. They are on an 24" iMac and I would like to transfer them from the iMac iPhoto 08 to my new Mac Book Pro iPhoto 08 is this possible.

    You can make PDFs of them and transfer the PDFs or you can connect the computers and copy the entire iphoto library to the MBP (someplace other than your pictures folder) then launch iPhoto on the MBP while depressing the option (alt) key and use the select library option to point to the iPhoto library you just copied over - do the same to switch back to the normal library for the MBP

  • Exporting calendars from iPhone into iCal

    I reinstalled Snow Leopard the other day, and, like a dummy, I didn't backup my calendar files. Is there a way to transfer my iPhone calendar to iCal? Syncing in iTunes seems to write my iPhone over with nothing instead of the other way. Any help will be appreciated, thanks!

    I'm having the same problem as you both. I want to get my calendar off my iPod Touch to my home computer, in anticipation of Apple telling me when I can get my hands on a 4G in Canada. I don't want a MobileMe account either.
    I love everything Apple, but it gets frustrating at times, don't even get me started with iTunes.

  • Creating a keyboard shortcut for Calendar's Export- doesn't work

    I created a keyboard shortcut in Calendar to easily export calendars (let say option-ctrl-E).
    When I launch Calendar the shortcut doesn't work. But after I opened the File Menu, then the Export sub-menu, the shortcut DO work as expected.
    As I need this for an Applescript (there is still no Export… command in Calendar's dictionnary!), it's quite annoying.
    Interestingly, I don't have the same problem when I create a shortcut for "Calendar Archive…".
    I know I can of course use GUI scripting in AppleScript, but it's quite annoying.
    Any idea?
    p

    Does it continue to fail on a restart of the app?
    I can offer a workaround:
    If you need to automate creating a Calendar Archive, just copy all the .caldav, .calendar, and .group folders, allong with Attachments from ~/Library/Calendars/ into a folder called Calendar. Package it up in a folder with a .icbu file extension and add an info.plist file to that folder with the following information:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
    <plist version="1.0">
    <dict>
              <key>date</key>
              <date>2013-03-07T01:08:00Z</date>
              <key>version</key>
              <string>2.0</string>
    </dict>
    </plist>
    Right-click on a Calendar archive and choose "Show package contents" and you'll see what I am describing.

    I am a bit lost with these messages.
    The parameter (email adress) in calendarserver_config Scheduling.iMIP.Sending is not existing. Am i able to change it in some way?
    I would be very grateful for some help or hints!!

    I notice this error you pasted above:
    Invalid sharee detected: E144DCCF-68EC-4D13-AD59-E2205496AD96
    Do you get anything back if you run this in Terminal:
    dscl /Search search /Users GeneratedUID E144DCCF-68EC-4D13-AD59-E2205496AD96
    Just trying to see if that is a user that exists.
