Export claim for under rebate(CIN)

Hi Experts,
My client have export claim for under rebate scenario but the problem is  it is not generating any accounting posting.
My question is why it not generating accounting posting, is it in standard or if it is not in standard is there any alternative solution for that please guide me on this issue.
Thanks & Regards,
Kanna

under rebate scenario
If I am correct, while creating excise invoice under rebate, system will post the relevant duty amount to FI as the company is paying duty immediately at the time of moving the shipment out of the delivering plant.

  • Export under Rebate - No Bond

    Dear all,
I have already created a pricing for exports with ED & Cess statistical as for exports we dont pay duty.
When i go to create bond under rebate i am getting a error message  - Bond cannot be created under rebate.
To my knowledge when we do exports under rebate we pay the duty.
Kindly suggest a solution....on how to map both the senarios through one pricing.
    Regards
    Kishan

    Hi Kishan,
For Exports under rebate you do not create a bond since excise will have to be paid and then claimed back. You will have to generate an ARE-1 document, complete the formalities and then claim the refund.
As regards to your query on the pricing procedure, for exports under rebate, the excise and cess should not be statistical in nature, since they need to be paid.

  • Export Under Rebate Pricing Procedure Configuration

    Hi SD professionals,
My Client have practice of export under rebate  in which they used to export the goods by utilizing balances available in RG23A/RG23C.
They charge excise with regular excise rates &  but this duties are not charged to the customer & charged to rebate receivable account/excise expenses.
FI requirement is accounting entry required is:
    Customer account.....Dr. Rs.100
    Rebate receivable .....Dr. Rs.10.3
    Sales Cr. ...........            Cr. Rs.100
    Excise Paid/Payable.... Cr. Rs.10.3
    Customer account.....Dr. Rs.100
Excise Not Availed Expenses .....Dr. Rs.10.3(Expense Account)
    Sales Cr. ...........            Cr. Rs.100
    Excise Paid/Payable.... Cr. Rs.10.3
The above entries are for billing document & excise invoice would be as per regular practice.
How can we configure this in pricing procedure for export under rebate?
I had tried through statistical condition type but not serving any purpose.
    Please suggest config or workarounds.

  • Export under Rebate

    Dear Friends,
I need to generate both Rebate and LOU excise invoices.
IMG setting I have maintained as below:
    1) LG --> Tax on Goods Movement --> India --> Basic Settings --> Maintain Series Group. Here for the series group, "No util"  and "Imm.util"  boxes are unchecked
    2) LG --> Tax on Goods Movement --> India --> Business Transaction --> Outgoing Excise Invoice --> Maintain Default Excise Groups and Series Groups. Here under the tab Exports "Exports under LOU " .
While creating excise invoice in J1IIN, after giving the billing document reference and entering into  screen, when I am selecting the No bond option (Export Bond / No Bond / Deemed / LoU) ...system is giving a message .....
Calculate Excise duty on the document.....
The message details shows - The billing document has no excise duty..... Use 'Calculate Tax' Function to determine excise Duty for export .

    Dear Jude,
I have maintained one pricing condition PR00 both for capturing the price and assessable value....where I have maintained Condition category 'H' - in condition type  PR00.The values are flowing into the Excise Invoice and subsequently into ARE1....
    My Issue ....
1.The values when I create a Export Excise invocice the excise values are in Display mode....and No A/C doc gets generated for the Export Excise Invoice under LUT and Rebate...Let me know this is fine.
2.Once I create a ARE1 referring to the Rebate Excise Invoice.....the output shows the blank "AMOUNT OF REBATE " column, but the "VALUE" and the "DUTY PAID" coulmns are showing the Excise values...
So my question is once I create a ARE1 for Rebate the A/c entries should update the Cenvat Credit Receivables A/c and Rebate claim A/c......How can i achieve this....Since the Export Excise Invoice and the ARE1 generates no A/C doc?
    Thanks

  • Deemed Export Under Rebate

    Hi gurus,
I have a scenario for deemed export under rebate. As in case of exports there is a check for no bond-under rebate in J1IIN. But in case of Deemed Export there is no selection option in J1IIN.
Kindly give a solution as its GO-LIVE criticle. Right now i have to manually pass JV for this transaction.
    Regards
    Kishan

    Hi Kishan,
Request to re-check with client on this scenario.
If you run thorugh Excise / CBEC manual - rules and regulation have been mentioned only against Exports (physical export of goods) under claim of Rebate.
<b>There is no provision for  Deemed export under claim of Rebate.</b>
Available standard settings in SAP for deemed export are in sync with the present legal requirement.
    Thanks and Regards,

  • Export Sales under rebate cliam

    Hi,
In the Export sales under rebate scenario, When the excise amount will be posted in GL whether it will be at the time of Excise invoice creation or ARE1 posting.
Will ARE1 posting generate any accounting documentation.

    Hi,
When you create an excise invoice for exports under rebate . A/c document needs to be generated and than you will create an ARE1. So for export under rebate you debit the duties at the time of sale and take the rebate in the end of the month.
Setting for for normal exports and export under rebate will be different.
Also note that at the time of ARE1 no g/l account entries will be trigger in any process

  • No bond under rebate

    Hi all,
Can any one of you please tell me the cofiguration set up for No Bond:Under Rebate processing. my current organization want to go for ARE1 processing with bonds LOUT and REBT. i know the required settings for LOUT but dont know about REBT.
my client requiment is the rebate value has to get accumilated after processing the ARE1 in a specific G/L Account which helps in claiming at end of the year.
    your help is much appreciable
    Thanks in Advance
    Gana

    Hi
The configuration is similar to exports under bond(under claim for rebate you do not have to maintain bond in J1IBN01 - Create .
In excise invoice you have to choose export under no bond. Save It you will get a excise invoice. Prepare a ARE by J1IA101 enter the outgoing excise invoice no. Maintain all the required details.
Have u maintain and assigned account key in your pricing procedure for G/L account?

  • ARE 1 (NO BOND PROCESS/UNDER REBATE)

    Hi All,
    Plz help me---
I have facing problem in ARE -1 .
I have Created,Post & Updateds ARE -1 under Rebate Claim.
All the process are ok & all the data are capturing except Amount of Rebate.
In ARE -1 Amount of Rebate Column is blank
(But in lagacy there are data like --
    Ex Duty XXX(amt)
    Ed Cess XXX(amt)
    S.H Cess XXX (amt.)
    Total Rs/- XXX (amt)
    debited vide RG23A Part II
    entry no xxx)
    Date xxxxxxxxxx
So the main problem is to get the entry no, i have no idea from where the ENTRY NO. will capture
So how to capture data in the column AMOUNT OF REBATE(column no 14 in sap standard)
Note: - In excise invoice(j1iin) i have selected no bond.
    Best Regards
    Santanu Giri

Your main problem is not, that you don't see anything in MMC (the system can be added manually without much hazzle) - but is, that you database content of schema SAP<SID>DB does not match the data found on the filesystem.
If you copy the filesystem structure from production to test/qa, you need to make sure, the database and filesystem are in sync. You will have two problems if you "just copy them":
    - They are out of sync because your production was going on running since you copied the backup files
    - all configuration (all java property sheets) is/are set to point to the production system instead of the test/qa system
I doubt, that it will work if you copy it over. This also explains, why you can't even start configtool, because it points to the wrong system/schema. You MAY be able to fix all that manually, but you may encounter subsequent errors because not all configuration is documented, you would need to step into the whole j2ee tree and look at each and every propertysheet to find out, whether it's correct or not. Additionally, the database may have other information (see above) and all that may become overwritten during bootstrap.
So - the best way to get your system up and running quickly is to start sapinst on the source system, export your Java instance (not using ABAP but the Java dump) and re-importing that to your test/qa system.

  • Problem in export excise invoice under bond

    Dear Gurus,
I am creating excise invoice for export under bond, in T-code J1iin, in utilization tab when i change to export invoice then it became mandatory  for deemed export while i set it for under bond by following path
maintained in IMG Path -- Logistics-General --> Tax on Goods Movements --> India --> Business Transactions --> Outgoing Excise Invoice --> Maintain Default Excise Group and Series Group.
For that series group, excise group, sales area, plant, shipping point, I maintained Export under bond
    But still problem is there.
    Please give me solution
    Thanks & Regards

    Hello Rajesh,
While creating excise invoice for export excise invoice if duty values are getting nullified after selecting
utilization TAB, excise invoice type BOND, then kindly use the user exit J_1I7_USEREXIT_DUTY_IN_EXPORT
here pass the suppress calculation = X. So duty values will get copied from the billing document. If it is left
blank system will recalculate duty while creating excise invoice.
    Best Regards

  • Best upgrades for under $100

I suppose it's my turn to ask a few basic questions. Someone gave me a Beige G3 desktop. It has a 300 mhz processor. And it has OS x 10.2.8 The only upgrade I have done has been to put in one 256 ram chip. I would like to make a few other upgrades to it, but not for very much money since I also have a mac mini that I use primarily. The G3 is used mostly as an extra computer for family to jump online with. It also has it's original 6 Gig hard-drive of which 4 gigs are used. I have a few different questions and perhaps someone could point me towards the right post, if they have been asked (I couldn't find them on my own).
    1. I was interested in getting the larger vram chip for it, but after reading one of the posts, it was recomended to get a graphics card instead. Will a pci card just bypass the vram? In other words, do I just pick up a graphics/video card and forget the internal vram exists?
    2. Here is a little more wide open question. If you were in my shoes and you wanted to make important upgrades for a total of about $100, what would be your "no-brainer" prioritized list? I have been looking for a list of prioritized upgrades, but haven't found any.
    Thanks to any who reply.
    G3 Beige Desktop 300 mhz   Mac OS X (10.2.x)

Since this is a secondary computer, and because its market value is negligible, I wouldn't recommend a processor upgrade. The stock 300 MHz (with 1 MB L2 cache) processor is certainly more than adequate for your expressed usage. Having enough RAM for running OS X is necessary, so the additional 256 MB DIMM that you added to the existing memory (? MBs) may be enough. The motherboard has a slot for a 2 MB or 4 MB SGRAM SO-DIMM for graphics enhancement. Used pulls are available at eBay for $5 now plus shipping. As for video cards, a Mac can use multiple cards for multiple displays (if desired), so (unlike PCs) you don't need to use the "Device Manager" or go into the BIOS setup to disable the onboard graphics chip. The video card must be Mac-compatible, meaning that it's programmed with a Mac ROM. Used Mac cards are available on eBay for $30 and under, like ATI's Radeon 7000 or the Rage Pro 128 for under $20. A graphics card with a faster onboard processor will provide faster screen redraws, and will be an asset, especially if the Mac will be connected to high-speed internet. Any of the widely-available IDE (E-IDE) hard drives sold in computer/electronics/office supply stores can be used in the beige G3, so if storage capacity is needed, you can get a new drive for around $40 or less (with or without rebates). Beyond the extra disk space, new drives run cooler, faster, and have larger caches. Even on the stock ATA bus, you'll notice a speed/performance difference. The onboard controller can't recognize any drive greater than 137 GBs, so that means that a 120 GB (or less) is the target size to purchase. You can install a larger capacity drive, but anything beyond 128 GBs of formatted space will be unrecognized/unused. A USB PCI card is a convenient add-on, especially if you'd like to use current printers, flash drives, scanners, etc. with your beige G3. Avoid the Belkin cards having the Opti-based chipset. I've had no problems with the IOGEAR 2-port USB 2.0 card. In order of priority, I'd place memory first (which you've done), a graphics card second, a larger capacity hard drive third, and a USB PCI card fourth. You may also want to consider replacing the stock 24x CD-ROM drive with a CD-RW drive, but with a USB flash memory stick, files could be transferred to the Mac Mini for burning to CD, so that probably wouldn't be needed. I will point out that I upgraded my beige G3s with RAM, a Radeon graphics card, USB and FireWire cards, CD-RW drive, and larger capacity hard drives in some. I couldn't begin to recover the total investment in each unit, if I sold any of them today. If you set a $$ limit before upgrading, you'll keep from going overboard.

Will these files in CI be used automatically when running SAPinst in DB host for DB export option?
Is it required to move these files to DB host manually? Which is the target location if necessary ?
    (3) Any guide with detail on the preparation of tool or files in a standalone DB host prior to Export DB from it with SAPInst.

  • Export Settings for Optimum HD Quality

I'm getting back into editing after a couple of years away and having worked up until now with SD DV tapes. I now own a Sony HDR-SR10E Hi-Def camcorder, a brand new iMac with huge screen and more than enough memory/hard disk space, and a copy of FCE updated to work with AVCHD files. (Before the update, although I could preview the camcorder's files in the Log & Transfer window, for some reason FCE wouldn't actually import them when commanded, always giving me the dreaded Error; No Data message. Thankfully, the update fixed that. I work with the preset "AVCHD Apple Intermediate Codec 1920 x 1080i60")
I've just edited my first sequence; a three minute short, and ultimately intend to burn most of my movies to Blu-Ray. I monitor on the iMac, and whereas I used to monitor externally via DV deck and monitors, I've become used to this. My problem, I guess, is what are the ideal export settings to use to achieve a near loss-less movie at the other end of the editing process? "Export To Tape" is obviously redundant for me, so I'm left with "Quicktime Movie" or "Quicktime Conversion". The trouble is, nothing seems to give me the desired result. Plain old Quicktime Movie isn't good enough, leaving the exported movie looking under-resolved and full of horizontal artefacts, especially with moving objects featured. Neither can I find any presets/permutations within Quicktime Conversion that leave me with a half decent result; I'm basically left with files that are better or worse than each other depending on their varying degrees of artefacting!
I'm in the market for a quality external BD Burner and, probably, a copy of Toast Titanium 10 Pro, but there's no point in considering purchasing these until I can export good quality versions of the movies I edit in FCE. Can anybody please advise me as to the best export settings to use?
    Thanks

    FYI
    To anyone interested in this thread, Tom's advice regarding export settings was good;
I exported as a QT movie. I then took a gamble, and bought Toast Titanium 10 Pro, and an LG BE08 external Blu-Ray rewriter, (although it doesn't officially support Mac), thinking that it's "plug-and-play" USB2 connectivity would be pretty universal. Luckily, it seems I was right. I burned the disc using Toast's Blu-Ray plug-in, and the HD playback quality on my PS3 is superb. To my eye it looks pretty much loss-less when compared to an HDMI feed straight from the camcorder to the TV.
The only niggle is that the disc shows up as an "Incompatible Disc" when I try to play it on my three-year-old Sharp Blu-Ray player, so be warned that the older machine may encounter problems!

  • What is the best export option for a slide show made with Premiere Pro?

I have just made a slide show, 3 minutes, some music and 3 slides.
I exported it for youtube with 10fps.
The file ended up with 35 Mb.
Isnt there an export option that allows less fps resulting in a much smaller file size?

What frame size are you exporting to?
There is likely a way to get it a little smaller. I will play around with it and see what I can come up with.
Post a screen shot of your export settings. We might be able to spot a problem.
Edit: Well, at 1920X1080 a 3 minute slide show starts to fall apart at less than 30MB or so. The bitrate drops to the point where the images are not clear. Anything under about 1Mbps is just too noisy. I used H.264. There might be a better choice for slideshows.
