Export ****, compressors reset, no way to get a mix!!!! --- the FIX

After doing several mixes with levels different than what I set, producing export mixes with no audio and growing a beard in the time it took to find a fix - please allow me to share.
When exporting a mix, Soundtrack Pro resets the compressors (yeah fun), it probably messes with other things too because it would also disable my Ozone mastering compressor. The mix you get, (if you get one) has every channel that used a compressor set wrong.
After about 4 hours of trying everything under the sun like trying to capture a playback mix in another computer (wouldn't keep sync), trying to export to Logic from FCP using XML (good luck - got out of memory errors with 5 gigs of memory) and generally freaking out -- here is the fix. (And let me thank another user who posted it whose name I do not know).
Export from Soundtrack Pro TO COMPRESSOR using 48k 24bit. IT WORKS!!!!!
Also, heres a fun item - HOW TO RUIN your hard earned mix:
Before I figured out that Soundtrack Pro was resetting all compressors upon export, I did a SAVE before closing the file (usually a good habit). There went all my original compressor settings - now you get a nice messed up Soundtrack project. So make a backup of your project once it is correct....

THANK GOD I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE!
I'm currently mastering an instructive CD and have applied a compressor in the submix for the narrator's segments.
The biggest urk is that I have 12 tracks to export and every time I export the cursed compressor resets! So now I have to go back and fixed over and over.
Please some one help some frustrated editors here!
