Hi hakolos and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums!
Unfortunately, there is no way to export your email messages from your BlackBerry smartphone to your Mac.
Thanks.

  • Transfer emails from "On My Mac" to new Mac

Since the year 2001 I am saving all my personal emails, I like to see them maybe as a diary. Anyway, I keep them including attachments and cannot save them via iCloud - too big, too many. So I saved them “On My Mac”. Since I have two Time Machine backups I felt very comfortably about this.
Now I bought a new Mac and need to transfer the emails from my old Mac to the new Mac and have problems doing that. My local Apple store and Apple Care only offer the solution to transfer everything via migration assistant. Please just accept that this is no solution for me.
I know that this problem arouse here several times but unfortunately I cannot find an answer that works for me:
When I copy the corresponding mailboxes (Username) -> Library -> Mail (which really have all the mails inside because they are quite big in size) to my new Mac and additionally copy (Username) -> Library -> Preferences -> com.apple.mail-shared.plist I see the mailboxes on the new Mac, but they are all empty.
Furthermore I have an issue copying them at all, because the Library is only available after holding the option key and the window that opens shows only the active OS. So regardless if I connect my old Mac in Target mode, use a Time Machine backup or even copied the plist-file from my old Mac to an USB-stick - transferring it is difficult to impossible.
The funniest part, however: After I copied com.apple.mail-shared.plist into my preferences folder of the new Mac the appearance of my mailboxes in mails’s sidebar was weird, so I deleted it again (and the mailboxes including the saved emails) and assumed that after a restart Yosemite would create a new plist. But it didn’t! And my new Mac still runs fine - regarding the mails saved in iCloud - without this plist…
    Any thoughts?

This causes problems for me. When I place a single .mbox file into a new folder and import that folder I get the following dialogue:
When I click 'continue' I get a new import folder, but the formatting is a garbled nightmare of seemingly random subdirectories upon subdirectories:
Each of the subdirectories under "ASV" should have just contained messages, not lots of embedded subdirectories. Am I doing something wrong?
P.S. I am trying to move mail from an iMac running 10.7.5 to a new iMac running 10.10.1

  • Can a user Import/Export Email from IMS?

    VER: IMS 5.2
    OS: NT4
Q: Is there any way to import/export email from a user's account?

What do you want to import/export from?
I think you can do a dump of someone's mailbox using the imsbackup utility, but am not sure what format this gives you. Probably you can only import this into another iMS server.
Apart from that, you could look at what tools your mail clients have for saving and importing messages. I think Outlook express has an archive utility that you could use. To import from Outlook to the server, you could use the iPlanet sync tool. This will synchronise in both directions between the iMS mail server and various clients. These include Outlook, Windows CE handhelds, palms, etc. Basically, if you set this up to synchronise with Outlook, then you can import/export using anything that will interface with Outlook.
Of course you don't have to use Microshaft products. You could use any mail client to do this. Not sure about synching with other clients cos we've not done it.
I'm not sure how you can get hold of this synching tool. There were various beta versions floating around about a year or so ago and I would have expected that they would have released a supported version by now. Then again.....

  • Exporting Email From Thunderbird

When I made the full time transition from Windows to Linux, I selected Thunderbird as my email again, and imported all my Outlook Express mailboxes (and I have a lot of them) into Thunderbird. Thunderbird is a good mail agent, but I am getting worried about being locked into one mail agent again, much as I was with Windows.
Are there any programs out there that can EXPORT email from Thunderbird into some neutral format like HTML or XML or some such?
Ultimately, I would like to start using Sylpheed, but I can't see any way to get my email from Thunderbird to Sylpheed.
    Any ideas anyone?

The beauty of this method is that you do it all from the client itself.  You would launch thunderbird as you normally do and set up a second account.  That second account should be an IMAP server.  Which IMAP server you use and where it is located is up to you.  If you have an ISP that provides IMAP mail that would be easiest otherwise you could set up your own somewhere.
(on a side note, since I am not an IMAP expert I would recommend downloading a trial version of Communigate Pro from stalker.com since it will install and work quickly for your purposes)
Once you have both accounts active and working in the client just drag the emails from the folder on one account to a folder on the other.  Thunderbird will automatically transfer the mails to the other server for you.
I should also point out that this isn't a thunderbird specific feature -- even outlook express will do this.
    Good luck!

  • Why Apple is blocking email from reaching my mac email account that I would like to receive.  How do I correct this?

Apple is blocking email from reaching my mac email account that I would like to receive.  How do I correct this?  There are some important emails that I am not receiving because they never make it to my inbox or even my spam account.

    Hey there MikeMach,
It sounds like people are sending you emails but they never arrive to your inbox or your Junk folder. According to the following article you may need to reach out to iCloud support directly for assistance:
iCloud: Identifying and filtering junk mail
Due to the complexity of accurately detecting and filtering out junk mail, on rare occasions a legitimate email from a friendly source may be blocked from reaching your Inbox. This is called a false positive.
If you feel that a legitimate email message was inadvertently filtered, you may want to ask your friend to send a follow-up email to verify that the issue exists. If you notice that multiple email messages are being delayed, bounced, or not delivered, contact iCloud Support. Also make sure to check your Junk folder for email messages that were incorrectly marked as junk mail. To check your Junk folder at iCloud.com, choose the Mail application and click the Junk folder in the sidebar. Email messages in the Junk folder are automatically deleted after 30 days.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    Take care,
    Sterling

  • How to restore old emails from Outlook to Mac Mail?

I have recently configured my email account (server type POP3) on Mail. It has retrieved my emails from last few weeks. However the older emails are missing. I was using Outlook and Mozilla thunderbird as email clients on Windows computer. I do have a backup of the data from windows computer on external hard drive. Can someone explain my how to I restore those old emails to the newly configued mac Mail account?

I had about 7500 emails, and they converted OK...took awhile because each one has to be converted, but it finished fine.
Although you can export from multiple Outlook folders, Mac Mail doesn't have a very slick importer for multiple mailboxes.  So, you'll need to export the mailboxes from Outlook (which will create 25 different files, each full of email), and then import each of those into Mail. In my case, Mail created a separate folder for each exported file, but the folders all descended from the root folder (not nested), so I had to create my own nesting.  This is more a limitation of the mbox standard that Apple uses than it is a limitation of Mac Mail itself, from what I read.
    Happy new year!

  • Moving emails from Mail on Mac to Outlook Express on Windows...

Can anyone help me with the following scenario?
I have one Mac computer, with 2 accounts set up on it - one for me, one for my wife.
My wife just recently got a Windows 'netbook' and now wants to transfer her entire Mail.app InBox to the new PC. There's no need to copy the Address Book (copied on a mobile phone already), and she doesn't really need the Sent Items or anything like that. All that she's interested in copying over is all the emails that are in Mail.app's InBox.
The netbook has Windows XP on it, and Outlook Express.
Bear in mind that there are hundreds of messages, so anything that involves saving/exporting each email individually one by one is not really an attractive option.
Also, a fair amount of the emails will have attachments, so any method that supports retaining the attachments is welcomed.
I know the Mac OS and all its apps like the back of my hand, but I must admit to being a total noob when it comes to Windows.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
    Mac OS 10.5.5
    Mail 3.5
UPDATE: I do have Entourage 12 (Office 2008) on my Mac too, which is currently not used at all, if this can be used for any intermediary steps.

I'm fairly sure you would be better off avoiding Outlook Express in favour of Mozilla Thunderbird, I have a Windows XP X64 PC that I used as my main pc before buying my MBP and used Thunderbird on it, when I got my MBP I remember moving the emails across was very easy, Mail.App and Thunderbird use a similar file structure, I'm sure I just dragged and dropped whole directories across (it is some time ago though).
Here are 3 links, the first discusses Thunderbird and importing/exporting mail.
    http://kb.mozillazine.org/Importingand_exporting_yourmail
    This gets more specific
http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=363915 - you need to read down, he has put a 'how to on the post'
The second is a program for converting from emix to mbox format.
    http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/29050
BTW Thunderbird can be installed on OSX and Windows, so you can move all the emails over on the mac, check them with Thunderbird, before installing TB on your windows pute.
    Best of Luck.

  • Help, how to export emails from mail app

hi guys: I did not uncheck the box remove emails from the server after ..... so my hotmail on the server are gone. i want to have email copys stores on the server, since i need to check hotmails from any computer, not just on my home computer where the emails backup copys are stored. so i want to export my emails from the mail app in the mac back to hotmail server, how can i do that?? please give me a hand, i will really appreciate

You can do it via Mailbox>Archive Mailbox. And also, based on what you're saying you have Hotmail set up as an POP account in Mail. Don't know if Hotmail offers it, but if you set up the Hotmail account as IMAP in Mail then the behaviour will be different. You will have two copies of the emails on both the server as well as the computer. Go to Hotmail's help section and type in keyboards like "IMAP" and "Apple Mail."

At the same time i can see in ipad 3 that send email, but still can't see the send email in Mac Mail....?
please help me, how can i see all my emails send on Mail from Mac OS X?

  • Can't send email from one specific .mac account

I have two .mac accounts on three different machines. My main email account gives me "cant send with server smtp message..." use a different server. I can send just fine with my other .mac acct on the same machine. But I can't send from my main .mac acct on any of the machines or the web client at home or work. I have created a new user from scratch and set up the .mac acct on it and still get the errors. So it doesn't seem to be a problem specific to machine, user, or network. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
iMac intel   Mac OS X (10.4.6)

In your Account setup (via Mail Preferences) you may have to set up an Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) entry. As an example I have a IMAP account and a POP account. The IMAP account has the server smtp.<imap_domain>.com and the POP account has mail.<pop_domain>.net.au. I also have other domain entries which come into play if I am visiting friends or colleagues and need to send or receive mail via their broadband links which have ISP's that differ to mine.

  • How to retrieve emails from a dead Mac?

My mid 2010 Mac Pro running OS 10.7 has died ( logic board)
    I have replaced it with a 2011  i5 3.1ghz  iMac running OS 10.8
I have put the SSD drive from the Mac Pro into an external USB case.
Is it possible to retrieve my emails from the old drive used in the Mac Pro to the Mail App on the iMac even though the two Macs use different OS?
I found I cannot access Mail on the old drive as the operating system is different and therefore won't open.
    Any help gladly accepted.

    Hi Loner T,
Thanks for your quick response. Yes the SSD was my boot drive on the Mac Pro.
I have now plugged it via USB external case into the iMac.  Next I went to system preferences and change the boot drive to the SSD one.
Wonderful.. I now have access to everything on this drive.
    Thanks for your help.
