Export Error Win API error 2

Hi, after a reasonably uneventfull couple of years with LR1.1 to LR 2.3, I am confronted with an error along the lines of " an internal error occurred WIN 32 API error 2, the system cannot find the file specified when calling Shell Execute from AG Workspace" This has me in a bit of a pickle as I have to get images to client sooner rather than later, all processed to certain criterea/presets from within LR2.3.
Any idea's?

PS, I also noticed that my anti virus, Bitdefender Total security 2009 picked up a Trojan Generic "Virus"! Could these issues be related?

Many thanks for your assistance Ian, really appreciated. My only concern is that LR 2.3 has been working pretty darn well, apart from the odd "speed" concern, but generally I have been more than happy. The export error was something that came out of left field, and caught me off gaurd. Do you feel that upgrading to 2.4 will solve the issue?

Hi,
I transported webi documents + universe from a development server (BI 4.1. SP2) to a test server (same release). I can open the documents with the WEBI rich client, but I am unable to open them with the launch pad (error ...opendocument' api. (error err_wis_30270)).
Does anyone have a clue where there could be a difference in the settings that cause this behaviour?

     Did you connect to the database as superdba user?
     What is the dbm user of the database?
     Did you use the completeT medium to create the database backup?

Unknown API error - when hoovering over new DVD's at Redbox

Loaded Firefox 4 yesterday and this morning when checking out new releases at Redbox I got this error "unknown API error" while hoovering over new releases. If you hoover over a DVD it details what the DVD is about but, instead of the details I got the above error. Prior to Firefox 4 release (earlier versions of Firefox) I did not get this error, and I do not get this error in IE 8 or IE 8 (64-bit edition) - unfortunately.

Redbox says related to browsers not being updated; I don't think that is the case...must be a problem with Redbox..doesn't happen on any other of the numerous sites I visit...

API error in projects conversion

I am using pa_project_pub.create_project api to load projects.
The program errored with ERROR IN API
Error Message (API ERROR) This role has already been assigned to this person during the specified period.
Can anyone tell the reason for the above error.

error message?
If the person has the project role then you may have to remove it and try the API again

When I export from LR5.3 I get an error message Win32 API error . However the export seems to work.

Near the bottom of the Export Daialog, in the "Post-Processing" section make sure that the "After Export" box is not empty (which is invalid and causes the export operation to trip up). Use the drop-down to select a valid choice such as "Do Nothing".

Two Servers with CAS+MB role, already part of one DAG. I am trying to add one new server in existing DAG. The installation of exchange 2013 competed successfully. However when i am adding it to the existing DAG, the below error is coming. Please help

As Deepak mentioned, please try to enable IPv6 on all member servers first.
Based on my research, In Microsoft Exchange Server 2013, IPv6 is supported only when IPv4 is also installed and enabled. If Exchange 2013 is deployed in this configuration, and the network supports IPv4 and IPv6, all Exchange servers can send data to and
receive data from devices, servers, and clients that use IPv6 addresses.
Please also configure or disable Firewall to allow the connection.

3.3 Bug: Win32 API Error 2 - Please help

Wondering if anyone may be able to help with the following error message:
"An internal error has occured: Win32 API error 2 ("The system cannot find the file specified") When calling ShellExecuteExW from AgWorkspace.shellExecute".
The wonderfully unhelpful persons at the helpline said they could not help me but indicated If I reload the version 3.3 in a different location the problem would go away since some plug-in from v1.4 had infected the new install.
I have no custom add-ins/plug-ins, everything is default.
I followed these instructions, however still have the same error. I removed then re-installed 3.3 on another drive away from C:\Progfiles......
Any suggestions?

Sorry F. McLion, I could have provided the following additional information:
v1.4 lightroom owned, operating without issue, installed in default location
C:\... drive
v3.3 trial downloaded, installed default location, export operating without
issue
v1.4 launched to compare, export working fine
v3.3 launched, export results in error message; determined that export actually
worked, just resulted in the error message
un-installed v3.3 per phone support (manager)
re-installed v3.3 on F:\ drive from copy downloaded on F:\... drive. No change.
Odly after I removed then re-installed v3.3, the pictures I was working
on appeared in the re-installed instance with the most current changes - I would
suspect a clean un-install would have removed any semblence of work done prior
to removing (at least pointers to modified files). Since not, this means the
un-install did not truely un-install, it simply removed some files but also left
some remnents.

Are you trying to add same document number, serial number or so on?
"entry exist " means like "duplicate key problem", I guess.
Basically, whscode column in PCH1 table allows duplicating.
So, I think serial number is duplicated among same item code.

API Error Handling

I want to create store procedure that reads datas from text file and using API to create the record in database. I've try to write the simple code by follow the code example in "Oracle Order Management Suit API and Open Interface". I have the following questions.
1.) How can I know which record cause me an error when the error was detect after calling API (API was called only one time to avoid the performance problem)?
Ex.
for k in 1 .. x_msg_count loop
gpr_msg_data := oe_msg_pub.get( p_msg_index => k,p_encoded => 'F');
dbms_output.put_line('err msg ' || k || ' is: ' || gpr_msg_data);

2.) Can I get the error code for each error message?
3.) What are the different between oe_msg_pub.get(...) and fnd_msg_pub.get(...)?
4.) How can I know which package (oe_msg_pub/fnd_msg_pub) I have to use to get the error message?

Export problem "A serious error has occured", or hang, upon export to Encore.

I am using adobe Premiere CS3 3.2
I am trying to export my project to a DVD. I've been told that the best way to do this with minimizing quality loss is to export to Encore.
My project has some filters that affect system memory and have locked up the computer numerous times before, like Looks Suite and Noise Remover (on some clips)
when I choose export to Encore, then choose settings, I get the error "A Serious Error has occured...." Then I trried lowering the settings, and I got the window that says "Rendering", at least, but nothing appeared in that window after I left it overnight.
So I have some questions:
- What's the best thing I can do to export my movie onto a DVD with minimum loss of quality?
- Should I export as a video file first? Which is the best quality? Then can I export to Encore?
- Does it help to pre-render my entire project in Premiere first, THEN export to Encore?
I'd appreciate some advice.

EDIT: I just tried to export as a Quicktime Uncompressed video with the regular method (Export-> Movie).. and it gave me the error "Could not compile movie..." then the message "adobe premiere pro is running very low on system memory"
So I am assuming this is a memory issue? Then what should I do??
Also, I want to ask- If I put my entire project with all its files onto an external hard drive, then move them to another computer with adobe premiere pro installed which also has the same filters installed, would I be able to export this way?

I am quite sure it is a memory problem... the computer exported other videos in the past just fine, but its never been used for making a film with a lot of filters and such that run down the memory, and so it gives me the memory errors.
I am not sure what is "Memtest86+"... I would like to try such a program, but in fact this is not my computer... I am using a Workstation at a University and now I have limited time to complete my project (I must figure out a solution by the end of the day on Monday)
Maybe AVI is the best for some... but I have done comparisons beforehand which found .mov to be the best... and I was even told that uncompressed quicktime doesn't lose quality at all (though in fact it seems to just a bit). So if you not completely sure which will be better, I will go with .mov.
So I will try a few things- like exporting only the "special" clips which used a lot of filters on individually as .mov, then reimporting them into the project, then trying to export the whole thing into encore... If that does not work, I will try to export fragments as.mov (because if I try to export too much at one time, it has the memory error->crash).. then create a new project, import the .mov files, and export to Encore.
I only have limited time to solve this problem.. do you all think I am taking the right steps?
Also one key question I have is about the audio.. do you recommend that I export all of the audio into one wav file, and then put that into the new project? Or should I just export the quicktime files, with their audio, into the project and keep it like that?

I would like to have sugestions and help to solve a problem in IS 4.2.
I've created a view from two tables, joined together with the key from each one.
Then i've binded the rule with the view (mentioned above) created and calculated score for it.
The calculation is successful, however when i try to export all failed data i have the following error:
"Encountered an error while exporting the data. View the lof file (DPR-10126)"
When exporting failed data from calculations made directly to the datasources i do not encounter any problem, but when i try to export all data to CSV file (not only the 500 results limit) i have this kind of error.
However, when i visualize the data from the view created, it is also possible to export to csv file.
Resuming, the error occurs only when exporting all failed data from the view.
Can anyone help with this issue?

Your information is correct.
I've just confirmed it in the 4.2 SP3 Release Notes and they specifically refer to this issue.
A user who has 'View objects' rights for the project and a failed rule connection cannot export the failed data. This issue has been fixed in this release.

Indesign export to Dreamweaver XHTML, error undefined is not an object

Please could you read the following email and make any suggestions, greatly appreciated.

Exporting it to a pdf and then again to HTML works okay so long as the text isnt in columns. Acrobat doesnt put the text in the right order which is a pain. Here is a breakdown of what i am doing and whats happening.
1. Opening an indd file in SERVER NAME/Data/ONLINE/FOLDER NAME/
2. Going to File à Cross-media Export à XHTML/Dreamweaver
3. Saving the file in SERVER NAME/Data/ONLINE/FOLDERNAME/indd exports/
4. In the export settings i am changing the Advanced settings to make sure there is No CSS
5. I hit Export and get this error message: undefined is not an object
If you go in to the indd export folder you can see that i have managed to export about half the files, the rest all have the same error message and i have no idea why.
I have tried the following:
1. Substituting all fonts it couldnt find on my computer for the default fonts
2. Taking out all the images (we dont need them, just the text)
3. Closing everything down and rebooting CS3
4. Closing everything down and rebooting the Mac
5. Saving the file on to the local machine and trying again

I went to all the Paragraph Styles Options -> Drop Caps and Nested Styles that I've defined im my doc and none of them have these (Drop Caps and Nested Styles) configs. Is this what you refer to?
