Export FLV Alpha getting a white puppet

Hi thanks for looking in.
I created a Puppet animation using the 'pin-tool' went to export it as an FLV for size and upon opening I am getting a white Alpha character where my detailed puppet should be. What am I missing here?
I want to export my Puppet with an Alpha BG not an Alpha character? I would like the webpage to show through the BG and not be on a Black BG....
Settings are:
Resolution: Half--Did not need a 1920 x 1080
Format FLV
Output Info On2 vp6
Bitrate 1600.00kbps
Include: Project Link
Channels: Alpha
Depth: Mill of Clr
Color: Pre-Multiplied
Final size 960x540
Output to FLVAlpha

Your settings say that you're just exporting the alpha channel, which will create an luma matte (white on black). So, what you're seeing is normal.
You need to choose RGB+Alpha, not Alpha as the channels to export.

FLV files exported with Alpha have extra frames after end of sequence.

Sequence is 588w x 486h Animation+ codec, talent chroma-key (Conduit) on track 2 with no background on track 1. Flash 8 is installed. When I export using the QuickTime Flash export component using On2 VP6 with Alpha Channel settings, the resulting FLV has additional frames up to around 20 seconds for a 2 minute sequence. These additional frames are a freeze of the last frame in the sequence. I tried several different sequence codecs/Spark codec with same result. Even setting an In and Out on the sequence does not help.
One symptom I have noticed, is that when I click in the timeline beyond the last frame of video, I still see the last frame of video in the Canvas (But not in the BlackMagic video card output). Normally I would see black or checkerboard.
Anybody heard of any conflicts with the Flash Export component dircect from the timeline or via a batch export.
Exporting an Item Settings QuickTime (Animation+) files and then using Flash Encoder does work, but I am trying to avoid the extra steps. (250 sequences to export)
I suspect I have an issue with the export component, but I wanted to see if anybody else has experiences this before I reinstall FCP and Flash software.

I have found what I believe the cause of the extra frames issue here, so I thought I would post it for others.
This appears to be caused by a problem between the Adobe FLV Export Component and QuickTime 7.2.  Adobe's website says that Flash encoder has issues with non 44.1 kHz audio.  Changing the sequence settings to 44.1 and rendering the audio solves the problem and FLV files exported from the timeline or via batch export are the correct length.
Exporting FLV files using either Spark or On2 VP6 with alpha, used to be a breeze with awesome results.  I do this all day to support our Flash developers.  The audio issue is easy to work around, but I also get random errors in the alpha channel of these movies now.  These single frame errors appear as black flashes.  There is nothing in the timeline that would appear to cause this.  Re-exporting sometimes fixes it, or simply moves the error somewhere else in the timeline.    This may also be related to QuickTime 7.2, but I don't know.
If anyone has experience these flashes in the alpha channel of exported FLV files please let me know how you resolved it.  This is a major productivity killer.

FLV showing up as white box?

I'm uploading 2 flv files to our website. Both flv files were edited with Media Encoder to be changed into flv. This is not the first time I have uploaded flv files to our site. We add our tv ads via flv, on average, every 2 months or so. The procedure is always the same and I did nothing different with these new flv files. However, this time, the flv files are showing up as a white box on our site instead of loading the flv players as usual. The "live view" in Dreamweaver shows the videos correctly...the flv player loads and I can watch the tv ads.
I took both ads off the page and added an old tv ad, just to see if it would work and it worked beautifully. But when I put the 2 new tv ads back on, I get the white box again. I have revisited Media Encoder and redited the tv ads, added the reedited ads back to Dreamweaver, and reuploaded, but still I get the same white box. I compared the code from the old tv ad and the new ones and the code is exactly the same (except for filename, of course). I checked to see if the new tv ads were made differently from our old ones and they were not. The expressinstall and swfobject scripts are uploaded to our site already since we use various flash files on the site (don't know if this even matters!). And each time I upload, it is uploading the skin and progressive player as well.
I am at a loss! Nothing should have changed with our hosting company. I took an old, working tv ad off our website in order to put the new ones on. I have no idea where to go from here. The specific page on our site is www.ourphf.com/currentad.html. I've tried uploading the new videos in all different sizes as well, thinking maybe it was a size issue. Please help!

Exporting 'flv' files from Final Cut Pro

Hi,
I was wondering if there was such a program that would export
'flv' files straight from Final Cut Pro time line for my mac. I
know that you can purchase Adobe Flash which enables this, however
I don't wish to buy the whole program. Is there a video encoder
program or something that you can purchase that will enable me to
export from FCP?

Studio to be able to do

Quick Time Player can export MOV to FLV. Not sure whether
it's the regular player,
I'm having the PRO version for many years and this one allow
that kind of export.

Exporting in quick time - flashing white screen

I edited a finished intro (some text changes) , but i can't export it in .mov format (quick time) .What i mean is, when i try to run the intro, every second it flashes a white screen, it get's white every second, for just a bit, and then it continues, and the next second - same thing.Problem is, i need the best quality, and the .avi format just is not enough.
It's an emergency.
Any kind of help, will be much appreciated!

Exporting an Alpha Channel in speedgrade cc

Can I export an alpha channel from speedgrade back to premiere pro cc, for compositing after color correcting my actor?

QuickTime Pro does support alpha channel masks.
Open the file in QuickTime Player Pro and select 'Window>Movie Properties'.
Go to 'Video Track' and click the 'Visual Settings' tab.
If the file contains an alpha channel, a black and white image should appear in the bottom left of the Properties box. This is the mask, or alpha channel mask.
Click on the image. A blue line appears around the image.
Select 'Edit>Copy'.
Open Preview and select 'New from Clipboard'.
The mask can then be saved as a PNG, TIFF, PICT, etc.
The saved mask can be attached to other images. In Properties, click the 'Choose' button and select the mask.

Use the uninstaller provided with the Sophos software. You can uninstall CUDA via the preference pane. Be sure you remove the com.nvidia.CUDA extension which is located in the /System/Library/Extensions/ folder. Not sure if Fan Control has an uninstaller so you will have to do it manually:
Uninstalling Software: The Basics
Most OS X applications are completely self-contained "packages" that can be uninstalled by simply dragging the application to the Trash. Applications may create preference files that are stored in the /Home/Library/Preferences/ folder. Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported then click on the Repair Permissions button. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu.

You're running an old version of Safari. Before troubleshooting, try updating it to the latest version: 6.0. You can do this by clicking the Apple logo in the top left, then clicking Software update.
You can also update to the latest version of OS X, 10.8 Mountain Lion, from the Mac App Store for $19.99, which will automatically install Safari 6 as well, but this isn't essential, only reccomended.

If you have installed a new hard drive , you will need to have formatted it in Disk Utility correctly. This may explain your problem.
Boot into your 10.6 Install disk again at the top menubar > Utilities > select Disk utility and in there select your new hard drive, and select the tab Erase and choose to make the format as Mac OS Extended Journaled. When that is finished look in the main window to make sure that the partition map scheme says GUID Partition Table.
Now go to the Restore tab and reinstall from your backup.

Will not start - get a white screen and gray folder with ?

I tried to erase the drive and reinstall snow leopard - which got interupted.
Now when I try to start - I just get a white screen - sometimes with a folder and question mark in the middle of the screen.
I tried rebooting with original OS disc - while holding option key - but it eventually kicks the disc out.

There are four general causes of this issue:
1. The computer's PRAM no longer contains a valid startup disk setting when there aren't any problems with the disk itself. This can be checked for by pressing the Option key and seeing if the drive appears.
2. The internal drive's directory structure has become damaged. This requires usage of an alternate bootable system to perform the repair.
3. Critical system files have been deleted. This requires usage of an alternate bootable system to reinstall them.
4. The internal drive has died or become unplugged. This is the most likely case if the computer took a sharp impact or there are unusual sounds coming from its location.
