Export from PDF

When I export an invoice from a PDF to a word or excel file, my document header is blacked out.  How can I fix this?

Hi,
I do not know without looking at the Word file.
When some image/tex got black box after export I try below:
1. Click the black box area
2. Do click right mouse
3. Select "Grouping" then select "Ungroup"
4. Click the black box area then do right mouse click again
5. Select "Order" from context menu then try out the menu items.
Please share the file with me if possible then I can look at it using below site:

Thank you.

  • How do I export from PDF to PPT so that shapes created in Illustrator are editable

How do I export from PDF to PPT so that shapes created in Illustrator are editable, not just text on top of them? I used the Acrobat XL Pro technique described here (http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/pdf-to-powerpoint-pptx-converter.html), to export a graphic I had created in Illustrator and saved as an Adobe PDF file, but shapes are not editable and are fuzzy too. Is there a way to export a complete Illustrator graphic to PowerPoint?

Thanks Bill. Of course I realize I can insert an Illustrator drawing into a PPT without making it a PDF first. What I’m trying to do is insert a drawing from Illustrator that is still editable in PPT (a client request). Using the Acrobat XL Pro capability shown in this video <http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/pdf-to-powerpoint-pptx-converter.html> , only the text is editable in PPT, not shapes created in Illustrator.

Is anyone experiencing Acrobat.com Export from PDF to Word failure?   I have successfully used this Cloud Service for several months, but today, I could not get it to work from my computer from either of two printer/scanners.  If so, have you a solution to the problem?  I would appreciate any help.

Is the Greek language available to the EXPORT FROM PDF?

The files that are exported require the fonts to be on your system. Acrobat can not extract fonts, but uses system fonts. If you do not have the fonts one your system, you will probably have substitute fonts that may look crazy. Why not just try it?

  • Export from PDF to Excel continually times out and fails.

I went through the steps to convert a PDF to Excel turning off the OCR feature. Tried this several times today with or without OCR and I keep getting the error message "Adobe ExportPDF could not successfully export your PDF file (file name).pdf. The conversion of your uploaded PDF timed out."
I don't think I'm doing anything wrong as there are not too many steps to follow.
If I can't get this to do  what is expected (which is convert a .pdf to an Excel file) then I will have to cancel the subscription. I just did sign up for a paid subscription to Adobe ExportPDF. There are others in my department (45 total) who would benefit from having a .pdf to Excel file converter and I have volunteered to become the "beta tester" for this.
If anyone has any ideas as to why this is happening, I'd sure love to hear them.

  • Export from pdf to Word not editable in Word

So, I need to be able to design something in InDesign, then pass it off to my client, who wants to be able to edit the text in Microsoft Word. My client is a restaurant. Sometimes their prices change, and they want to be able to edit the prices without having to use InDesign or Acrobat. They own Word already, and that's what they've used for past menu designs (I know, that's why they need me).
I've heard that you can export the InDesign as a PDF, then export from Acrobat as a Word doc. But when I do this, it leaves the Word doc text uneditable. It's basically like it's a picture. I know the PDF text was editable in Acrobat; why not in Word?
    Thanks.

The one option that might work would be to set up everything except the prices (just leave space). Then convert to PDF. In the spaces (you might actually use underlines for the field recognition -- I would use AcroForms and not Designer for the need), add form fields provide the prices. You can format the form fields to have no border or background, desired font and size, right justify, and even format as a number. You might try a simple example to see if that does the job. If you add Reader Rights (should not be a license issue since it is for a single use, no where near 500), then they can edit the prices in Reader and save it.
It is just that WORD is far from ideal for this application. For them to print the PDF form, they need to select in the print menu to print document and markup. The form fields are markup. If you present such a solution to them, they might actually like it. No matter what you did to create a nice menu in WORD, it is so easy for someone not good with computers to trash all your work in seconds. This form field solution would limit their ability to screw it up.
Of course, if they wanted to change the menu items, that is another story entirely. Going this field route might give you ideas for the future.

  • Change in report format after exporting from pdf format to excel format.

    Hi,
I got a problem while exporting the pdf format of the Report to Excel format "Fully-Foramtted Grids and Texts".
    The format gets automatically changed.
Is there any solution to this problem.

Can you give some more details?
Which version are you using (and which patch level - if any).
Also what formatting is default on the reports and what is the default format in excel.
What exactly is different between PDF and excel?
Another possibility is that font substitution is going on??

The file may have converted as an image, possibly due to poor quality.

  • CREATING XML TAG W/SPACES and CDATA.  EXPORTED FROM PDF BUTTON

    Hello All,
I was wondering if anyone could help with the following when working with livecycle Designer.
In our current XML we use in production we have a tag that looks like
    a.       <action function='Form1650' method='Add' and Action 'Upload' />
How do I go about making a field like this? I tried creating a text field and making in invisible and that’s fine and all BUT  when I go to make the binding name for the field it won’t let me put spaces in for the (function='Form1650' method='Add' and Action 'Upload') portion of the tag.
    2)      We currently use CDATA in our XML file to allow users to enter free form data w/ special characters like (<, &, etc) and not have our application crash. I noticed when using a exporting button in a pdf to generate a XML file it takes tags like < and converts to &lt.  Is there a way to have PDFs use CDATA embedded in the XML tag on output or some other solution?
