Export Graph

Can you export a graph from Discoverer 10g using EUL command line for java?

Hi,
Yes, the better way is to export the report without graph and create the graph later.

  • [SOLVED] Qtiplot: export graphs as .tex

    Hi everyone,
Qtiplot has Latex export support for graphs, tables and matrices since version 9.7.9. It uses the QTexEngine library, and the TikZ/Pgf graphic systems. I couldn't find QTeXEngine in the repositories, neither in AUR, so I built it from source. TikZ/Pgf is part of Texlive as far as I know. I still don't have the option to export my graphs as tex file from Qtiplot. What causes the problem, what am I missing? How can I make it work?
    Thanks in advance,
    Balazs

    Hi,
I've just submitted new version of qtiplot with origin import support to AUR (qtiplot-opj):
    https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=55184
It also has QTexEngine support compiled in, so it is able to export graphs in tex support.
You can give it a try, and please report any errors or successes.

  • Exporting graphs programmatically to pdf

Is there a way to programmatically automate fully the exporting of a waveform graph to a pdf file using the Labview 2010 Professional Dev System package?

  • Exporting Grapher documents into Pages

I've tried to insert a Grapher document into a Pages '09 document;  the image was awful!  No matter what format I used (TIFF, PDF, JPEG) to export the Grapher file, the image in Pages '09 was unusable.
The manual by Yves Barois is excellent for learning to use Grapher in the first place, but he does not go into detail about exporting the graphs for use in a text document.
Would this be any better in Pages 5.1?
Thank you in advance for your help!

    @ DandelionJoy
    Bonjour,
    Your last post :
I don't mind about "This solved my question" awards, points etc. I'm no more a child… unfortunately ! What is important : a useful help, that's all.
About page 62 list : I did not add a comment for each process, as good, bad. The users must try and choose the best way…
Changing the names of axes : select an axis (one click) > open Inspector > uncheck the Label box, that remove x or other ones. > menu Object > Insert Text > Type the new name > set size and move the text box to the right place.
The coordinate name cannot be changed in the equations :  only x, y, z, r, r0, theta, phi, as coordinate names.
Thanks for details of your Grapher work. I understand you want to illustrate the uniform circular motion. I just build a graph showing a point on a circle and another on a sine curve, both moving period T = 10 s, time value displayed on graph. It's a Grapher .gcx.zip of 78 Ko. I animated the parameter time and made a QuickTime .mov.zip file of 3,7 Mo. (static image in attachment). If you want to use these files, send me an e-mail (address on the last page of my website, no spam, no advertising).

  • Exporting Graphs to PDF file renders no graphs

Hi I am trying to export a table and a graph from a dashboard to a PDF however, when I export the Dashboard page only the table will show up and I lose the graph. I am running IE9 and my OBIEE version is 11.1.1.6.8. Is this a bug or am i doing something incorrectly?

Unfortunalty I work for an organization that only supports the IE9 internet explorer. Would like to know if this is bug that will be patched for IE9 or is there any known workarounds.

  • Exporting graphs

I am using Numbers to produce graphs for use in my dissertation because it is so much simpler than Excel (and more attractive!). The graph needs to be pasted into a Word document but when I do this I get a black background around the edges of the graph.
How can I properly export the graph? It is no good being able to produce attractive looking graphs if I cannot drop them into a document and have them still looking good!!
    Thanks in anticipation.

    WWJD wrote:

Not really. This is most likely a bug or other lameness in Word, not a problem with Numbers. Word does some pretty heavy handed conversion of pasted graphical content depending on what formats are on the clipboard. Some of this can be mitigated by playing around with "Paste Special..." (I think, I don't have Word handy to check this). I think in some cases Word may attempt to convert graphics pasted into document into a Windows format. This is what gives Word documents cross platform compatibility (.doc files open on PCs and Macs). This is also, though, what causes loss of fidelity and artifacts in the fancy alpha-channel, pdf compatible, charts created by Numbers.

  • Wpf export graph to image problem

My problem is I have created a new custom custom using the NI wpf graph as the basis. The control consist mainly of the graph, its axes and legends on a grid. To allow the legend to be moved around, I put it in a child grid. My problem is while trying to export the control as an image I am using the code below (similar to wpf graph export to image):
    Rect bounds = LayoutInformation.GetLayoutSlot(MainGrid);
    var bitmap = new RenderTargetBitmap((int)bounds.Width + 1, (int)bounds.Height + 1, 96, 96, PixelFormats.Default);
    bitmap.Render(MainGrid);
My problem is the axes and the edges of the image exported to clipboard is dark as shown below. Is saved to image, the edges are instead transparent but better (not visible in the photos app but visible in paint). My question is why is this behavior and how can it be avoided?
    Thanks.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

I did a bit of research and it seems the dark color is due to the trasnparency of the axes and edges of the image: the clipboard in windows does not support transparent image. The question is how can this transparency be removed from the axes and edges of the image?
    Thanks.

  • Export graphs from Web report

    Hi.
I need to copy graphs from web reports in 3.5.To do this, i have followed a roundabout:
    1. Save the page as mht (web archive file)
2.Copy the image from there and paste into Powerpoint or wherever required.
Is there any better way to do it? Or can I bring the save as mht option in the context menu?
Is SAP addressing it any soon?
Also is there any way to send graphs in addition to the tables via the 'distribute as email option"?
    Cheers
    Anand

When you broadcast using the standard template the template '0QUERY_TEMPLATE_BROADCASTING' is used for broadcasting. This template only has a navigation block and table item, this is the reason why the chart is not displayed in this template. If you create a custom template for broadcasting which has chart item in it you will be able to get the chart displayed (it will be always displayed.) See the attached link for custmoizing.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/3a/0e044017355c0ce10000000a1550b0/content.htm
You can also override this behaviour if you attach the query to a custom web template, in this case when you broadcast you will get exactly what you see in the current report.

Seems the image indicator/clipboard method from the previous post has some limitations for larger sizes.
In this case, it works fine if you save to a file, e.g. as follows. (see attached 8x image). (No image container needed).

Thanks for your post in our Discussion Forum,
is it necessary to export the picture in the .emf Format?
Otherwise I can provide two possibilities:
The easiest way to make a screenshot of a certain area of the frontpanel is to
create a SubVI with all the elements you want to take a screenshot from and
then take a screenshot from the whole frontpanel of the SubVI.
This works fine although the frontpanel is not visible while the picture is taken.
The screenshot can be taken with a method-node as seen in the example attached to this post.
Another possibility is to crop a screenshot of a whole frontpanel to the region which you are interested in.
How this works is described here: http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/take-screenshot-of-part-of-front-panel/td-p/1613750
The downside is that you have to manually set the region which might change due to scrolling or changes on the panel.
    Best regards,
    Peter

  • Is it possible to export a Graph?

I have requirement, where a Oracle page has data related to two View objects. One View object is displayed in Table another is represented in Graph.

If so, can anyone help me how to do it.

You could try using Network Shared Variables to pass the information into a chart. You'll only need a basic WLAN setup on the mobile device. (This concept depends on compatibility of shared variables with the PDA release of LabVIEW, which I'm not certain about).
Failing that, you could set up a simple UDP broadcast of the data from the PC)

    Vega,
What version of ApEx are you running? I know in 2.x you could not export graphs "directly" into excel. However, although I've never done it, I've read documentation from companies that opted to use ApEx over Java and ASP solutions... One practice was to leverage the use of individuals familiar with VBA to format reports exported from ApEx. Have any of those around? ;)
