Export Images from ORACLE to ACCESS
Hi,
i stored some image data as LONG RAW and have to export that data to ACCESS-DB. How can i do that.
An import into ACCESS via ODBC is not possible.
Thanks
Astrid
Dear all.
normaly I prefere to use that OTN-Forum because i get an answer very quick. But now i didn't get an answer since 2 days. Is the reason because i have to download data to another product than ORACLE?
I'm an ORACLe Customer since more than 15 years. That request is an exception. I hope i can show my customer that i can do everything i want with ORACLE! So please give me some hints.
Thanks a lot
Astrid

Exporting Data From Oracle 10g to Access
Hi Experts,
I need to export data from oracle apps shcema(each and every object in it) to MS ACCESS File.
Please let me know how to do it
Thanks and Regards,
AndySince you did not provide details of what you are planning to do, a very simple, however, depending upon the number of your tables, very labour intensive solution:
Although being not very familiar with access, I think access offers a means to import csv files.
So e.g. using SQL*Plus you can execute the following steps.
set pagesize <nnn>
set linesize <nnn>
set colsep ',' -- You may choose other special characters to separate columns of your output
spool <csv-file>
select * from <tab>;
spool offWherever you see <nnn> exchange by appropriate numeric values to get just one page as result and to configure your line size to hold a complete record in one output line.
Replace <csv-file> and <tab> by the name of your output file to be read in to access and by the name of your table, respectively. -

My Images won't open in Photoshop CS5 when I click on Edit in Lightroom - even though this option has been selected? To edit in Photoshop I have to export image from Lightroom then import into Photoshop. I have other programmes such as NIK and if I wish to edit in these everything works fine.
Same here. I've never had trouble with this function before.
It opens the Photoshop application with all the menus/windows, but it never opens the actual image I chose to work on.
I'm on a Mac, using OS X Yosemite, 10.10.1 Lightroom is version 5.7 Photoshop is CS5, version 12.0.4
FWIW, I also can't automate>Photomerge ... . Makes me think Photoshop, not Lightroom, is all wacky. I tried dumping PS preferences -
Want to scan an image from oracle forms -- Is it possible??
Hi all,
I want to scan an image from oracle forms through a scanner. I have not found any help on this topic. Pls help with example or code or with demmo form.

Edited by: Tarik_kuet on Sep 9, 2008 1:39 PMA colleague of me did it like this:
* the scanner is connected to a network document server.
* the document server sends(ftp) the image to the oracle XDB
* a form shows the scanned documents(using a view on the ftp directory in XDB using path_view)
* in this form the user can move the scanned document(s) to a (blob field) in a table.
Hope this helps a bit...

Exporting images from the Captivate 5 Library
I am able to export Captivate 4 images to a folder. I am able to export Captivate 5 images to a folder, but they cannot be opened with Fireworks or any other application I've tried. Although the file is a bmp, Fireworks says, "Could not open the file. Unknown file type." Am I the only one experiencing this problem?
thomasYes. I can right-click and edit a background in Fireworks, but what I'm talking about here is different. Captivate has long offered the option to export images from the library. This has been, and still is easy. The difference is that it doesn't work. The exported files are not readable.

I want to export images from LR. But when I nominate a size - eg. portrait 5x7", images that are in landscape are resized incorrectly.

If you set a resize-to 7" width AND 7" height, then landscape aspect images will be made 7" wide (with the height correspondingly less, depending on the shape of your current crop), and portrait aspect images will be made 7" high (with the width correspondngly less, depending on the shape of your current crop). In effect you are defining a "sizing box" that all output must fit inside; like that frame for measuring carry-on bags at the airport. You can alternatively set a 7" dimension to be used for the longer side, which amounts to the same thing; although if you also have selected a filesize limit, this particular selection might not work reliably (apparent bug).

Dear all,
Is there any tool to convert from oracle to access?
Thanks for advance !
charaI will describe two ways here.
1) By toad
Toad outputs the result in a grid. You can save it as csv file and then can import in access database.
2) By sql* plus spooling
SQL> set heading off
SQL> spool dept.txt
SQL> select 'Dept Number,Dept Name,Location' from dual
2 union all
3 select deptno||','||dname||','||loc from dept;
SQL> spool off
Now you got dept.txt as csv file. Import this file in access database. -
Unable to export image from Webi to excel.
Hi,
Can any one provide solution for export image from webi to excel( 3.1 & 4.0).
Thanks,
Praveengiven link(https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1299111) is not working.
the above link contain
Symptom
Unable to Export images from a Web Intelligence report to Microsoft Excel.
A Web Intelligence report is created using images to denote alerts. The report works OK in Web Intelligence but when exported to Microsoft Excel, the images do not display.
Environment
Business Objects Enterprise XI Release 2
Business Objects Enterprise XI 3.1
Reproducing the Issue
Create a simple Web Intelligence document.
Add a blank cell and within that cell link it to an image. (Either set as background for the cell or Image URL.)
Save and export to Excel. The image will not be displayed.
Cause
Web Intelligence export engine does not support the export of images to excel.
Resolution
In BI4.0, Web Intelligence export engine does support the export of images to excel.
Workaround 1 :
Most image formats are supported in PDF export. Users may be able to use that as an alternative.
Workaround 2 :
If images are required in the final Excel document, the user would need to recreate those image links manually in Excel.

Since update to 10.6.8 can't export images from powerpoint and also other programs
Ever since I updated my software to 10.6.8 I can't export images from Powerpoint or from a graphing software GraphPad Prism. It's really frustrating. I had no problems at all until this update. Is there any way to revert my version to the old OS 10.6?
I can't work when I can't put images into illustrator!
Thanks, AOHI just contacted Final Draft and they helped me with it. If you have FD and are going to upgrade an OS, Deactivate Final Draft first then re-activate it once the new OS is installed.

I am using oracle 10g.I am using java code to retrieve image from Oracle 10g.
So plz help me by giving full code with explaination.
Thankyou.
Yours Obedient
Dipesh KumarI seriously doubt Oracle would write error messages with such atrocious English.
So it's almost certainly an error from either your own code or code you're calling in some library or part of the application you're not mentioning that noone here except you has knowledge of.
Ergo, we're not going to be able to help you unless you provide a lot more information.
And no, we're not going to write your code for you. -

imagejpeg($im,'',100);
imagedestroy($im);

And then in the actual search web page:
<?php

$lname = "{$tname}%";
$id = "1";
//$query = "SELECT officer_id, image_file FROM officer_image WHERE ID='.$id.'";

$stid = OCIParse($conn,$query);
Header("content-type:image/jpeg");
OCIExecute($stid, OCI_DEFAULT);
while($succ= OCIFetchInto($stid,$row)) {

echo "<br /><br />";
// Free up memory
