Export Itunes to MP3 Player

Hi,
I have music in Itunes that I copied there from CDs that I own.  I want to share that with my elderly mom who plays music on her Droid phone's MP3 Player.  How should I do that?
Thanks Sharon

  • ITunes, Windows & mp3 player

    Hey All,
I received a iTunes gift card for Christmas which is great, but here's the problem. I have 'another' MP3 player (which is not an iPod.....Zen micro) & I went to purchase a song, but it would not transfer over to the MP3 player. Is that true? Will it not work on my Zen micro? If so, this gift was completely useless to me, right? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

That's right, the iTMS sells AAC songs, purchased songs have an m4p file extension.
Use up your gift card, then burn those songs to an audio CD. Re-rip them back into your PC as MP3 files.
That is the only way to get them on your Zen.

  • Sync itunes to mp3 player

Can I sync songs purchased from the itunes store to a Mp3 player? If so, how?

Not directly no. iTunes does not directly support other players. If the tracks you purchased are iTunes Plus (which has no copy protection), then if your player only supports MP3 (and not AAC, the native iTunes Store format) the tracks can be converted to MP3 which you could then sync to your player by whatever process it uses. Another option for synching might be iTunes Agent.

  • Trnasferring itunes to mp3 player

yes i am stupid. but i cannot download my itunes to my mp3 player. sansung.
or is it because itunes or only for ipods?

Only the iPod/iPhone range and the iTunes enabled phones from Motorola are compatible with iTunes for Windows and with the standard copy protected songs from the iTunes Music Store. If your MP3 player shows up in Windows Explorer and allows you to drag and drop music files then you should be able to add compatible files directly from your iTunes Music folder.

  • Itunes to MP3 player?

I purchased a song from Itunes and can't figure out how to sync it to my MP3 player. Can I transport the song to Windows Media Player so I could rip it into MP3? Please help!

Thanks, I was able to change the setting in Preferences but it said it does not apply to purchased itunes or something like that
iTunes Plus songs can be converted in iTunes.
When I rightclick the Itune, there was nothing that would prompt me to convert it to MP3.
If you see 'Create MP3 version', choose it.

  • Itunes & sony mp3 player

Hi to whomever can help me-
I just bought a mac, but I already had a Sony mp3 player which already has all my music on it. Is it possible to transfer music to it, or is itunes only compatible with ipods?
    thanks!
    Laura

Ya you should be able to use it with iTunes just fine. But not automatically like an iPod can.
One way is if the Sony shows up as a standard drive on the computer (it should right?) you can probably drag and drop tunes directly from the iTunes window onto the Sony. It should make a copy on the Sony. If not, then you can always do it outside of iTunes by simply going into the iTunes folder and drilling down to the songs or albums you want and manually dragging and dropping them into the Sony.
Just make sure you set up the iTunes preferences for importing to use MP3 files to keep your library compatible with the Sony. By default, after you install iTunes starts set up for importing as AAC files (MPEG4).

  • When is CreSUCKive going to make an iTunes compatible MP3 player?

They would probably inch their market share over 0% maybe?
Of course it will be a buggy piece of s**t, that a few crackers will rationalize buying while everyone else iPods it... ohh my flash player is purple and it costs more than the iPod but it has FM radio whaaa whaaa.
Don't get you panties in knot over this creSUCKi've buying little girls ,nobody cares.

are you some sort of a moron? If u dont like creative products return them and go get what u want. Dont go around insulting the product left right and center. If ur happy with an ipod fine, the use that. As for me. Apple and the whole MAC world can go down the drain. PC is the most simple way to go.
Oh and cresucki've, think about this if u can. Ipod comes from apple, ofcourse they will make it compatible to itunes. The creative products are meant to be used with PC and Windows Media Player. Learn this st and then post something, friggin idiot.

  • How can I get Itunes songs to my mp3 player (Sony Sonic Stage)?

I've browsed through the forums and it seems a lot of people want to export Sonic Stage files to Itunes!
I want the opposite. I just bought 100 songs from Itunes and can't get the m4a format changed in the Itunes advanced setting and I can't import the songs into my mp3 player (Sony Sonic Stage) because the files don't appear as part of my folder when searching (even though I'm looking for "all files").
I tried the Windows explorer to drag and drop from the Itunes folder to my mp3 player (it is flash based but loaded through the software SonicStage)and it didn't work.
I REALLY don't want to burn all of the new tracks to a CD to try to transfer them all back onto my mp3 player. Am I missing something really simple or is this a compatability flaw? I won't buy any more songs if it's the case but your assistance is GREATLY appreciated

  • Itunes to an old rca mp3 player

Are you able to export songs from itunes to rca lyra mp3 player model RD1090A..basicly is itunes compatiable with this mp3 player or can i convert these songs to mp3 format for this player... also when i try upload to player i get error " filepath to deep " something like that...

iTunes for Windows is only compatible with the iPod/iPhone range and the older iTunes enabled phones from Motorola. You need to check out the manual for your player to see what method it uses to import songs. Most will have their own management software and many just operate as simple USB devices and you can drag tracks from the iTunes Music folder rather than through the iTunes interface. Also if your player will not work with AAC (MP4) format at, if you imported anything from CD into iTunes using the AAC encoder then they will need to be converted to MP3: How to convert a song to a different file format format

    Thanks

I tried Notpod but can't get it to work.  Part of the problem, I suspect, is that I can't create a folder on my player (a SanDisk Clip+).  I also can't do this in Windows Explorer.  Whilst I can see the Clip+ in Explorer, the option to create a new folder isn't there.
The error mesag I get in Notpod is:
"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application.  If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue.  If you click Quit the application will close immediately.
InvalidArgument=Value of '0' is not valid for 'SelctedIndex'. Parameter name: SelectedIndex"
Then, when I plug the Clip+ into a USB port, iTunes thinks it is my iPad - which is because, I guess, Notpod hasn't worked.
I can drag and drop files from the Music folder where my iTunes tracks are stored onto the Clip+ and they get converted but I'd rather synchronise a Playlist from iTunes if I can.
    Thanks anyone who can help

  • Is there a way to transfer songs from a Sony 16GB MP3 player to an iPod Classic? Tried dragging the songs to iTunes, only accepted 1400 of the songs. MP3 player was full.  I also had compiled the songs in a specific order and iTunes changed order.

The songs from the Sony MP3 player need to be imported into your iTunes library first before they can be synced or added to your iPod Classic.
Regarding the songs that didn't import into iTunes, what format are they in and what seems to be different from them compared with the tracks that did import?
