Export M4V or AVI to 3840*1080 px

For a project I have to render out a video with the matte, side by side, so I would end up with a 3840*1080px file with on the left side the original video and on the right side the Matte.
Can anyone help me with the codecs! Everytime I try to export either the codec wont let me render as big as 3840 or the codec just mashes the whole frame in a 1920*1080px size
The only way I managed it is by rendering to Uncompressed AVI from After effects.
Thank you!

M4V is similar to mp4 but it has drm protection, you can remove the drm protection first. I found on Google and I found this program Adoreshare M4V Converter. You can try, I am not sure if it can help you

  • Exporting HD to AVI or Mov

    Hi there
    We have produced a movie in HD (PAL 1440 x 1080 , 25 frame p/s) .. running CS4, all good so far!
We are needing to get it to Eurosport on a digibeta tape, in Standard Definition 720x576.
We have a local guy who can convert from either AVI or MOV (prefers from HD) to the required format for Eurosport..
However we are having issues converting to either AVI or MOV:
1/ CS4 cannot seem to convert to AVI or Mov in HD PAL 1440 x 1080.. first prob
2/ ...so we thought why not just export to AVI Standard Definition 720x576 but find it distorts the graphics, photos and text captions ...   Video and audio is fine
We also tryed exporting as a MPEG2 (1440 x 1080 , 25 frame p/s) and converting to AVI via Streamclip .. created a very large file (which is ok..) but the audio quality was bad, and when playing it seems to skip a frame (not sure if this is just how it plays on my machine...??)
Most likely our settings... but after many hours google searching hasn't quite got us the answer :-)
    Welcome any suggestions ..
    Thanks ..

  • How can i export a 24bit avi file from photoshop for mac?

how can i export a 24bit avi file from photoshop for mac? i have a client that specificly needs the files to be avi and in 24bit what are the settings that i need to use to export the video using photoshop on a mac?

    Hello,
To make a 24-bit AVI file in Photoshop, go to File>Export>Render Video. Then, under File Options, choose AVI from the Quicktime Export drop-down menu. Click the Settings button. Click the Settings button in the AVI Settings window. Change Compression to None, and then choose "Millions of Colors" from the Depth drop-down under Compression.
The Millions of Colors option is for 24-bit video (8-bit R+G+B channels, 8x3=24). Millions of Colors+ is for 32-bit video (24-bit video plus an 8-bit alpha channel).

How do I export wmv and avi files from media encoder on a mac in CC2014?

    Nonsense.
Apple Compressor has been doing wmf exports for a decade. I have the Quicktime export components from Telestream and they appear as presets in Compressor. They should be available in Media Encoder or they should be importable. Adove apparently refuses to see them. Still trying to figure that out.

Can FCP X export .m4v directly without usig Compressor?

    Looks like .m4v to me.
iPad is the same. Do not use the Mac & PC compatible option. That makes .mp4 for PC compatibility.

  • Export as DV AVI

For the past several years I have been exporting videos created in Premiere (CS3) as file type: Microsoft DV AVI.
This has worked flawlessly up until yesterday.
It now only exports the audio and will not allow me to highlight "Export Video" ....only "Export Audio"
I can export as : Microsoft AVI
...but this is extremely slow! ( and doesn't create a thumbnail for me either )
Any clues for me as to what may have happened??
    Thank You

Unfortunately I'm not able to now.
    I thought I would do a reinstall of CS3.
Now when I try to start I get this:

  • Exporting actionscript as avi export movie

    hi all,
i have the following issue: i am creating a digital picture
    only via actionscript, e.g.
    moveTo(171,334)
    lineTo(176,235)
    lineTo(172,225)
    etc
Displaying the swf file via swf player is fine of course but
as I want to display it in a digital photo frame I need to export
it as .avi (as the dig. photo frame can't display .swf format). the
export only creates an empty avi file :(
    Does anyone know a solution?
    - Can I export just actionscript code as avi?
    - Or can I automatically convert actionsript to single frames
    (so to a non-as movie)?
    - Or does anyone know of a digital photo frame that can
    display swf files?
    Thanks for any help!!!

The AVI export doesn't support AS. Try using a third party
tool. Google SWF to AVI and you'll find a couple.
    Good luck!

  • No option to export as HD Avi

Apologies if I've missed something obvious, either in the programme itself or on this forum, but I just can't seem to work this out.
I am trying to export my movie as a high def avi file.  It exports beautifully to a DVD but I can't see any default presets to export to an avi in high def.  I have the following options:
DV NTSC standard (no good as I want PAL)
DVD NTSC widescreen (no good as I want PAL)
    DVD PAL standard (not widescreen)
DVD PAL widescreen (video size doesn't seem changeable and is only 720x576 i.e. not full HD)
Microsoft AVI (seems to be NTSC)
Uncompressed Microsoft AVI (also seems to be NTSC)
xVid (this seems more changeable than the others i.e. I can change the resolution to 1920x1080, but it crashes everytime)
    Any help really appreciated.
I am using Pre9 on a Windows 7 PC.  Footage is shot on a Panasonic HDC-SD60 in AVCHD format, imported using Panasonic's HD Writer software.  Pre Project settings are Full HD 1080i 25.
    Thank you very much.
    Peter.

Thanks Steve - very helpful and much appreciated.
I am trying to stream the final file to my television over DLNA.
The TV accepts a number of formats, including those as follows:
    .avi (Divx3.11/4.x/5.1/6.0) 1920x1080
    .avi (XviD) 1920x1080
    .avi (H.264 BP/MP/HP) 1920x1080
    .avi (MPEG4 SP/ASP) 1920x1080
    .mpg (MPEG1) 1920x1080
    .mpg (MPEG2) 1920x1080
    .mpg (H.264) 1920x1080
    .mp4 (H.264 BP/MP/HP) 1920x1080
    .mp4 (MPEG4 SP/ASP) 1920x1080
    .mp4 (XVID) 1920x1080
Plus an array of other formats for .mkv, .asf, .wmv, .3gp, .vro, .ts, .tp, .trp
Whilst I could encode at 1920x1080, my Wi-Fi struggles a bit with this, so I will probably take it down to 1280x720.
    Any suggestions much appreciated.,
Will certainly take a look at your book.  I bought the "Classroom In A Book" by Adobe when I got the software and am amazed at how little detail is in it.
    Thanks again
    Peter.

How can I get .m4v or .avi files into iMovie?

  • Problems with Audio in Exported m4v files

Hi. I am having an issue with QuickTime Player on Snow Leopard. Everytime I try to convert a .AVI file into .m4v, I lose the audio. I'm pretty sure I'm converting the right way, ("Share" > "iTunes..." > "iPhone and iPod"). Nothing appears to go wrong in the exporting process, but as soon as I open them in iTunes, there is no audio. I'm assuming it's not a codec issue, because no matter which .AVI file I use, it has the same problem.
Being a Mac, i'm assuming it's something stupid I'm doing (or not doing), but I would really appreciate some help. Or advice. Or anything.

Open the AVI in QuickTime Player (or QuickTime X like you're using now) and then open the Movie Inspector window to view what makes up the file.
    Report that info here.
You can also use the free MPEG Streamclip app to export to the iPod/iPhone and Apple TV presets (with options).

  • Help with exporting A Small AVI

I am working on a project for school using my schools computers to edit with Premiere Pro and After Effects cs3. I edited my project and exported it through the media encoder using H2.64 codec ane exported it as a .mp4 and it was slow for the my teacher to show to the class. He says it needs to be an avi but how do i export it as an avi and not have it a large file? The mp4 was only 1.4 gb but how large should the avi be and what would be the best export settings? The clips are 1920x1080 and where converted using cineform's neoscene. Thanks you!

The VT5 is basically a switcher with greatly enhanced capabilities, so is only one step in the chain.
I am wondering if the computer, to which the VT 5 is installed/attached, can handle DivX material (CODEC) in an AVI wrapper. This will rely on that DivX CODEC being installed on the host computer.
If so, you can install the DivX CODEC on your computer and then output MS AVI, choosing the DivX CODEC in the Advanced/Encoding settings. This will result in a highly-compressed file in the AVI format. Though highly-compressed, the output quality for streaming media is very good. Note: you will not need the "Pro" version of DivX, as you will be using only the CODEC (free) and letting PrPro do the encoding for you.
Ask your instructor if the DivX CODEC will be acceptable to him/her. If so, that would be my choice for acceptable streaming quality and small file size, and it will be in the AVI "wrapper."
You did not state if you have an SD (Standard Def), or HD (High Def) Project, or I just missed that. If SD, then the next best choice would be DV-AVI Type II file, but the file size WILL be larger, at ~ 13GB / hour Duration. I would choose this, and deliver the file on an external device, like a stick, or external HDD (7200 RPM).
    Good luck,
    Hunt

  • Media Encoder will export H.264 720 but not 1080

I'm on Windows 7, using Premiere and After Effects.
I've installed updates for the OS, Quicktime, and Adobe applications.  I've, opened Premiere under a different user, tried holding shift and alt on opening Premiere and uninstalled  Premiere and After Effects.  I even tried taking the Media Encoder directory out of the applications directory, then reloading Premiere and After Effects (no joy). The Media Encoder directory didn't rebuild itself.
The problem is specific to exporting H.264 in 1920x1080.  It doesn't matter if it progressive or interlace, or any of the other variables, up or down.  1080 fails and 720 will export.
Does anyone have another suggestion for me to try?
    Thanks in advance.

I was able to uninstall Media Encoder by uninstalling a long list of CC applications; Prelude, InDesign, Flash, After Effects, Premiere, Speed Grade, and Photoshop.  In addition to uninstalling the applications, I did a search on my drive for any file with "media encoder" in the name or directory and deleted them.  That search, by the way, was the only way I was able to confirm how many applications were connected to Media Encoder.  There was suprisingly little on the subject in the Adobe library.
When I reinstalled Premiere, Media Encoder came along with it.  Media Encoder is now working again.

  • Loss of sound on exporting .MPG to .AVI

I am trying to export an MPG to .AVI for use in a Power Point Presentation, but the conversion drops the sound on the finished .AVI file. Past posts say this is normal-- how can I prevent it?

Don't use QuickTime to export muxed track files. It can't (never did) export the audio.
Use MPEG Streamclip (free) to export your .mpg to .avi format.

  • Exporting 24 fps avi to MPEG2 makes it 29.970 fps?

I just exported a 23,976 fps avi to MPEG2 choosing MPEG2-DVD 23,976 fps progressive and now when i check the new m2v-file in MediaInfo it says 29,970 fps. How could that be? I know i chose 23,976 fps in the media encoder so that's not it. Anyone have a clue?

I answered you on the Cow as well - try creating a sequence in FCP with your desired settings and drop the Motion project file into it. If the render quality isn't what you want (you can't judge by what you see in the Canvas!!) Choose Sequence > Settings, go to the Render Control tab, and set everything to Best. Not sure what that template vendor is talking about but this will change the duration of the project.

  • Can't export to DivX AVI

I am using a product called EyeTV to encode television programs onto my MAC. Afterwards I am given the option of compression. One of those options is DivX AVI. When I choose this I get the following error:
"The currently installed DivX AVI component is unsupported (6.0.5).
Please visit http://www.divx.com for the latest update."
I already have DivX installed. Why can't I export to DivX. Would upgrading to DivX Pro solve this?

I already have DivX installed. Why can't I export to DivX. Would upgrading to DivX Pro solve this?
More than likely the EyeTV option searches for the DivX 6 encoder (which, as you postulated, is a separate component included with DivX Pro) to perform the actual encoding of the file and found your limited free trial period had elapsed.
