Export media, where does it end up?!

Hi, If you make a clip and you feel finished, you use export media to make it a watchable .avi file, right? I did this in Premiere CS5, but i was not able to choose where this file was gona end up, and I've searched my documents for the exported .avi but i cant find it, where the HECK does it go?
and why aren't you able to chose for yourself where it's supposed to end up? In the beginning you can chose where you want your captured videos from cameras to end up, only. this is confusing.

You can, and should:
The specific location will obviously vary; it should be remembered from the last export, however, so you can use that to backtrack.

Where do I start, and where does this end...

Well, about a week ago I issued 'pacman -Syu, up to this point I had a fully working laptop system (acpi=off, but other than that) with great audio, nvidia hardware rendering, working aMSN and so on and so on.
Now, I found myself with a totaly useless system, so I removed every config file in ~/ to no luck, also did this with root.
I now try to be smart about it, and reinstalls arch. From a livecd to get the latest off the net. I even use an US mirror to make sure the packages I receive are the latest. No luck. As I boot in, I find myself in an even MORE sloppy system (if that was possible in the first place).
I cannot use Nvidia hardware rendering, I have to sit in "vesa" like im living in 1992. Then I try to play some music, oh no, every single good management utility out there utilizing gstreamer is messing up. Then, in the end, I manage to get over this issue. Now, I sit there with every single audio management application fully functionally, EXEPT - I cannot play a damn song without shattering, cracking and at the very end (about 10-15 sec into the song) it stops playing or the application crashes. Oh and yes, I got every single gstreamer lib in the world. I also tried to run XMMS to check it it was a gstreamer or related issue. XMMS plays my music fine, but it crash about once every 3-4 minutes, which needles to say is a huge pain in the a##!
Now I even can`t get aMSN with UTF-8 to register that I am from Norway and that I want to be able to use the letters "æøå".
All in all I have NEVER had any issues with Linux like the ones I am experiencing right now, not with ArchLinux, not with Gentoo and not with Debian. EVER. It feels as if the updates done 1-2 weeks ago totally wrecked Archlinux and I refuse to believe me to be the only one affected by this mess.
I know allot of people use the term "this is all i need, then I can stick to archlinux for ever" or "I will leave archlinux if this is not resolved". I will not go there, but where I will go is here: FreeBSD runs flawlessly on my laptop, no matter how much I have updated it the last 2 weeks, just to make sure I won`t have to defend myself against flame.

"about a week ago" is not an accurate measurement. Factor in delays in mirrors syncing and the vagueness, and it's totally useless. Instead, why don't you post your pacman log and mark what the -Syu when the upgrades broke your system -- if it all happened so suddenly as you suggest, then this should be easy to track down.
Give us some details! Xorg has a log (/var/log/Xorg.0.log) - use it! Set up nvidia and post the log when X fails.
XMMS. it's crap. It's old. It's dated. It's unmaintained. It's buggy. It doesnt operate well on modern operating systems. The list goes on. But you could run it from the console and tell us what errors it outputs when it crashes. That's more useful than 'it doesnt work'.
Same goes for other audio applications, they might say something when they have problems -- and it helps if you actually describe the problem you had. "messing up" is terribly vague. Give us hard information that we can use.
For amsn, the same goes. Run from console. Tell us exactly what the problem is. What happens when you try to use extra characters? Is there output?
Do some investigative work. Save yourself and us the time. And if you leave Arch... we don't care. Really. It's your computer, use what you're comfortable with.

Capture export media event in Adobe Premiere

We're developing a html5 Adobe Premiere Extension. The extension imports files to the editor from our archive. The files have two versions. Hi-res and Low-res. We import the low-res versions to the editor. We want to change the path of the file from low-res to hi-res when the user finishes his job and exports the media (File->Export->Media). Is there a way to capture the export event and change the file paths?

OK. I finally get it working. There are some problems with the sample code.

The "outputFilePath" variable is not declared in the function.

The '\' characters are not escaped. It should be;

It starts Adobe Media Encoder and finishes the job successfully. Is it possible to do it without Media Encoder? Like "File->Export->Media" menu does.

The sequence does not show when exporting media from premiere

i have the following setting for my sequence-
editing mode- main concept bluray
time base-25.00
preview file format -mpeg bd 1080 50i vbr 34 mbps
width 1920
height- 1080
maximum render quality
issue is when i export media the adobe media encoder does not show the sequence
and when i export in some other format- it only shows h.264 option and not h.264 bluray. as a consequence cannot write any bluray since all the option are progressive
do i need to reinstall something/anything
issue with mainconcept?
is there a tab where one can add presets in media encoder?

If you installed AME through the Creative Cloud, then this is a known issue which was fixed in an update released just a couple of days ago. To get this update, select Updates in the Help menu.
If you're not on Creative Cloud, then please specify which product or suite you installed that included AME, and also indicate whether it's activated or running in trial mode.

Where does my encoded media go ?...

Maybe a dumb question, but this is first time I am exporting with media encoder in CS4 : once the Start Queue has been pressed, where does the output file goes ? (I have not changed any default, so what's the default ?...)

You don't need to do that. Just scroll to the right and read the output file location.
Since my answer was correct to begin with, at least give some points for a helpful answer, now that you bypassed the correct one.

Where does iWeb put my media files?

I used iMovie 6.0.1 to send a QT movie to iWeb, which then was published to my .Mac account successfully (albeit slowly). I would like to also put this movie on a different site I have, without re-exporting from iMovie, since this took a bit of time on my powerbook. If I just copy-paste from iWeb, I get a .mov file, but one that cannot be moved (or viewed) to a PC. The original file is many MBs, but this .mov file is only ~500kB.
Does anyone know where iWeb puts this exported media file? I'd like to get my hands on the original without re-exporting. Thanks for the help!

look in username/library/application support/iWeb
there is a package there named domain.
control click on it and "show package"
from there you will the the files and can copy one out.
make sure you copy and and not move it

How to remove records in itab where its HKONT does not end in '0'...

I am getting records from BSIS and BSAS and I want to remove those records with
their HKONT(GL account) does not end in '0'(zero). I do now want to do it via a loop.
I tried using DELETE FROM ITAB statement but it seems it does not work.
Here is what I did:

DELETE gt_bsis_bsas WHERE hkont+10(0) <> '0'.

'+' is a wildcard char which is used to represent one char
where as '*' represents any number of char's.
In this case +++++++++0
<b>means that the length of the field is 10 chars and first 9 can be anything</b>
he didn't use '*0' since it could mean that the length of the data entered can be anything .

It will be right next to the movie in your library and the jpg file will end up on your hard disk right next to the movie file. You can see the actual file by right (or control) clicking on the image in the library view and selecting "show in Finder/Explorer"

If you consolidate iMovie media by coping it, where does it go?

I was hopeing to copy my pictures right from my project and put it in a separate folder in the order they are in the project. It sounded like that was possible by "consolidating it via the copy option. I tried but nothing seems to have happen. Where does consolidated media go and how can I get to it?
Also is there anyway to give iMovie more ram to make it work better?

Scenario 1 :If you are having an single exchange environment with your domain name (i.e domain.com) as authoritative in accepted domain list then definitely sender will get the bounce back error message which says "recipient not found".
Scenario 2 : Say for instance you are using your domain (i.e domain.com) as a shared namespace between two different exchange forest.On that time definitely you will not get the bounce back message immediately .Because your message will get looped between
the exchange forest .On certain hop sender will be getting an bounce back message which says that "your message has reached the possible number of hop counts".
Note : On scenario 2 your domain (i.e domain.com) will be on internal relay on both exchange forest.

Help! Export Media does not launch Encoder!

So i go to click on Export Media, and it just sits there.
This worked within the last 2 days or so.
I tried making a new project and exporting that, no dice. Tried making a new project, importing an old one, no dice. etc etc etc.
It just sits there, kinda still, not doing anything, appears as though hung or loading. I can't click on anything.
I can however, press esc and return to it. Any ideas?
using cs4 (trial still valid). vista. decent computer. nothing has changed since the last time i used it when it worked.

I'm having this exact problem. Nightmare.
I reinstalled and no luck.
Anyone got any ideas at all???
ALSO, Why the hell didn't Adobe just include Media Encoder as an OPTION not as your ONLY WORKFLOW?? Crazy people. It was so good to be able to just export a single frame, audio file or video file quickly and easily. Grrrrrrrr.

CS6: Premiere exports MXF Op1a (mpeg based) but Media Encoder does not.

As a company we use several local machines with a full installation of CS6.
Premiere Pro exports in our broadcast format (MXF Op1a - mpeg based - Long GOP - 50Mb - Top Field First - etc...) still Media Encoder does not.
They we both installed in the same procedure, full installation of CS6. MXF presets are present on both directories (Premiere and Media Encoder).
ME simply doesn't recognize "any know exporters" even if I force a preset, when it comes to MXF.
We have to import every single video into Premiere to export as MXF. It's difficult to create an effective workflow this way.
Any thoughts on why is this happening?
NOTE:
- Updated twice all machines - first to 6.0.3, now to 6.0.5 = no result
- Copied presets from a working trial installation = no result
- Microsoft based OS core i7 with 12Gb RAM, 3Tb HD and Nvidia Quadro 4000

I've read a lot of suggestions towards similar issues. None worked.
- installed codec packs incluiding different mpeg variations = no result
- copied /common preset files from premiere to AME = no result
- copied and replaced the full directory of AME from another working AME (with MXF exporter) = no result
- re-installed CS6 = no result
- updated CS6 twice = no result
- added MXF Preset zip file available in the official Adobe support (although it refers to mac presets) = no matter... no result
I really don't know what else to do.
It's difficult to accept suggestions like "format c and start over" cause of the impact on the production room, so I really need more options other than the extreme ones...

BTW: Must add that in all processes above, MXF exporting was allways possible in Premiere, just not in AME.

2.Top-of-page: Every time a new page is triggered. Mainly this is used for header of the report.
3. End-of-page : every time the list data reaches the footer region of the page.
This way first data is disaplyed then it reaches the footer..
first End-of-selection then End-of-page

Where does my exported document go?

I am finding this very frustrating- please can someone help me?
I opened a document in a folder I sent it to pages so I could make some changes then I exported it.
When you export a document in pages where does it go?

There is a shared folder on the ipad that you can see fromapps on the iPad, and from iTunes on the computer.
You would add the file to this folder using iTunes. Then on the iPad, you import that file into the actual apps file list. This makes a copy in the sandboxed area for the app. A copy stays in two locations now. One original copy in the shared folder, one being edited in the app.
If you mess up the edited file, you can delete it and reimport from the shared fielder.
If you want to keep the changes on the iPad you can export back into the shared folder which you can then see on iTunes.
Be careful, make sure that if your about to delete an app, you first sync and copy all files to the desktop before deleting it. I lost a bunch of files in numbers because it apparently deletes all files associated with the app.

C3-01: Where does music/vid media stored?

Where does music/vid media files are stored when transferred from OVI suite? Does it automatically saved to the memory card or the hardware built memory. How do I save it directly to the memory card?

The first step in the sync process is to create a backup. On a mac this backup is located at
~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup. The backup does not included iTunes media as it is assumed to be in the iTunes library you are syncing with. Also, as you have discovered, when you first sync with a new iTunes library iTunes will erase all iTunes media on the phone (music, videos, etc.) and replace it with the media in the library you are syncing with. Photos from Camera Roll (which are taken by the phone) are part of the backup. Photos in Photo Library (which were synced to your phone from your computer) are not; again, because it is assumed they are already on your computer as that is how they were synced to your phone in the first place.
