Export module

I would like to see the image quality function in Bridge's export module to actually work, if you set the quality to 11 or 12 or 9, I would expect it to stay there when I click save, it's really that easy. Also DPI control might be nice and color profile, SRGB , Adobe etc..
A watermark function will be really nice but not sure if that is possible.. They have it in Lightroom so might not be too hard to convert for Bridge..

Same problem here. It is not possible to set export Quality Image to 11 or 12 but with Camera Raw is possible to do it.
Some suggestion?

  • Adobe Bridge CS6 for mac: export modules, facebook export module gives an error every time i try to sign in

in the export module for facebook every time i click "sign in to facebook" it gives the following error: "An error occurred while request facebook connection"

"An error occurred while request facebook connection"
The export module has been discontinued in Bridge CC and as long as it has been there the option for social media has worked only for FB in a few countries. Due to rights management (as we where told) there where restrictions for most other countries. But if it did work for you in the past you should try click on FB in export module or use the tiny menu icon in the export panel for preferences and try to set up a new connection.

  • How to upload images to a Facebook page using the export module

I'm trying to set up the export module for Facebook so I can upload my images.
It works, but I want to upload them to a Page that I've created for my professional stuff not my personal account.
    Anyone have any ideas?
    Thanks

Did you ever get a reply to how to upload your images to FB? I am wondering how to set the "services" to export to FB.
    Thank you.

  • In Export module, Simple watermark does not appear in my photos

I make it a habit to always place a simple watermark on all my photos during Export. When i was using LR3 this always worked, but when I recently updated to LR5.2 the Copyright watermark does not show in my photos. I tried several repetitions exporting to .JPEG files, making sure that the Watermarking box is checked. Still, the photos do not show the Copyright symbol and my name.
    What is happening?

    Jim,
Following your last post lthis is what I did:
    1. In LR5.2, (Library) Export Module, I clicked on the "Export' box
    2. In Export File the following shows:
         Metadata
         Include: All metadata
          "Remove location info" box checked
         Watermarking
Watermark box at left checked, and selection checked for "simple copyright watermark"
In the iMac Pictures folder I looked up the exported file and it shows no watermark
When this same file is uploaded to Flickr, no watermark appears.
I am wondering if. under metadata, I should select "Simple copyright" instead of "All metadata."

  • Is the Upload to Server feature working in CS6 for Mac . . . or any of the export modules?

Is the Upload to Server feature working in CS6 for Mac . . . or any of the export modules?

No, unfortunately the photomerge ui plugin will not work in photoshop cs6 on the mac side.
You can always use photoshop cs5 for those times when you really need it.
In photoshop cs6 you could align your photos manually as best you can, then select all the layers and go to Edit>Auto-Blend Layers>Panorama with Seamless Tones and Colors checked

  • No Export Modules After 4.0.2 upade CS5 Bridge

I've upadated CS5 4.0.1 via net days ago, and got no Flickr or Facebook export modules in export tab, only Save to Hard disk.
I've reseted the Bridge preferences, but still the same. Yesterday I downloaded from the Adobe download site, the 4.0.1 and 4.0.2 upadte, and I installed again, first the 4.0.1 update and after that 4.0.2 update, restart the Mac and still no export modules(flickr, facebook...).Reseted the preferences again, and still no other modules.

Since your first idea of blaming Facebook appears not a solution have you
already tried to reinstall all modules again??
In the export panel choose the tiny menu icon top right and click on manage
    modules.
In this view there is also a toothed wheel icon. Click on it and choose
    reinstall all modules.
After this you should restart Bridge. Don't know if it works for you but you
    could give it a try.
All 3 worked. Then suddenly Facebook Module gives back error - other two still
    work fine.

  • What algorithm is used by Export module when resizing a picture?

Is it using the same choices as Photoshop (Bicubic Smoother for enlarging, Bicubic Sharper for downsizing)? There are times when I prefer to use Smoother even when downsizing, as the Sharper algorithm results in over-sharpening (to my taste), but there does not seem to be a way to choose a specific one. Are there any workarounds for the lack of choices in the Export module?

Rob, thank you very much for your suggestions.
    1. Yes, I had already selected no output sharpening.
    2. The pictures are not over-sharpened to begin with (at least to my eyes). The issue is that in my workflow I do a bit of selective (or creative) sharpening, beyond the capture sharpening, on the full size file as imported from the camera or the scanner. At this point, I can get prints from this file and everything is fine, I do not downsize for that. However, if I want to post the picture on a web site, or share it by email, I usually downsize it to manageable pixel dimensions (or required dimensions by the web site). This is where I thought the additional sharpening implemented by LR could lead to oversharpening.
    3. I'm not sure I follow you here, but I agree that post-processing after LR has already sharpened the file during the downsizing would not lead to an improvement. Is that what you meant?
I should add that I have not done extensive testing with the LR Export module, so it may well be that, as you say, it does a nice job and it does not cause over-sharpening. I'll try it and see how it does. I was just asking the question because of my experience with Photoshop and the Bicubic Sharper choice when downsizing.

  • Bridge CS5 Export Module only saves as 72 dpi file

I frequently export my edited RAW files as high resolutioin JPG files.  I've been using the Tools>Photoshop>Image Processor for export.  Having just purchased CS5, I tried using the Export Module and discovered that it only exports files as 72 dpi JPGs (not the 300 dpi of my original files).  Anyone know how to keep my exported files as 300 dpi?

No it's not a bug, the jpg is being created from the preview image (this can be a fullsize document) and there is no PPI information so the document defaults to 72 PPI in photoshop.
I agree there is a problem with the quality setting! It does not seem as it will save at the best quality, the range should be 1 - 100 not 1 - 12.
If you would like to try my interpretation of export you can try my Bridge Processor..
I have added a field to set the PPI

  • Exporting Module pool with screen

    Hi,
I want to export module pool that I created to a file and import it back later. I could find a SAP Program RSTXSCRP to export SAPscript but no success in exporting a function module. Please help.

    Hi Nikhil!
If you just want to do this once, you can use transaction SE80 and menu point Utilities - More utilities - download (for each include / component).
Otherwise a special program is easier to use, take e.g. this one:

  • It would be great if Bridge and Lightroom had Export Module for Creative Cloud Uploads

I would like to have the ability to upload files directly from Bridge Cs6 or Lightroom 4.1 into Adobe Creative Cloud Storage via an export module...

It's usually a good idea to post feature requests for specific products in the relevant product forums and via Adobe's official Feature Request form

  • Export module in Indesign fails to overprint black

Hi Everyone. I have a big issue that need help with. I have indesign files for printing that are exported to pdf for imposition. When I open the pdf in acrobat the text that is set to overprint only knocks out, irrespective of the settings I choose in making them. Now, the example: I make a yellow box on a page and type word 'overprint' over it. Indesign by default prints black to overprint (checked the preferences). To make sure it does overprint I duplicate the box and text and set the text in attribute panel to overprint. The page is exported to pdf: both files show that the black is knocking out. Now for the hardware and software: I have CS5.5 with the latest update, using OS-X 10.6.8 Intel core duo 2.26GHz, DDR3 ram and plenty of space. No, I have not installed any new software and no third party plugins. I have recreated the preferences file but no difference. Tried also to export as eps but the same result. I also have a Windows 7 laptop with the same CS5.5 version and this problem is not happening on the laptop, only on the mac. The export engine in InDesign is not working as it should be (the pdf extension if v7.5.2.3) and having a lot of issues getting work ready for printing. Does anyone have any suggestions, ...and how do I get Adobe to take notice of this issue? Much appreciated and thanks in advance.

No reason I can think of that the PDF would have the Black at knockout.
You're definitely using the default Black swatch named [Black]?
Just tried there with your PDF settings, and it worked fine, the black overprinted no problem.
The only things I can think of is that the Black was not 100% tint.
    or
It used a transparency from the effects - with isolate blending ticked
It's a total guess though, I'd have to see an example of the file.
    If you can provide:
    Example INDD file
    Sample PDF
InDesign go to Adobe PDF Presets and Define... and SAVE the PDF preset and upload that too
    That would be great.

  • What is the best way to make a LR watermark graphic for LR export module

I have played around with making a watermark, actually a lable that denotes swim team name and year.
I started in Illustrator and thought I was making a vector graphic but LR only wants a PNG or JPG to use as a watermark .
the formats I need to water mark to hold up in are: 4x6, 5x7, 8x12 and 20x30..
but even at low size the graphic wimps out as i expand it a little...
If I used the text tool in PS, ithink this retains substance...So is the trick to us a GIANT JPG or PNG?

  • Bridge cs6 export - only hard drive option is present. I want ftp and social network module

I want to export my images right from the bridge. Uploading them to different social sites and ftps is a bit of a hassle and it is easy to forget something in the process. It would be so much better if I could just drag files to desired locations/presets.
I've seen something like that in the blogs (but with lower version of CS) where people have facebook and other options. But I can see only hard drive module.
Is it possible? If so - why don't I have this option? What can I do?

If you don’t see the four modules, click the flyout menu and choose “Manage Modules.”
Make sure all four are checked. If you don’t see the four listed, click the little gear, and from ITS flyout menu, choose “Check for Updates.” When you’re through, click the small “Done” button at the bottom to return to the Export Panel main window.
You can start using the export modules directly, but every time you use them you’ll have to go through a long export process. Use presets to streamline this operation, by saving all the work for re-use. You can create multiple presets; for example, you might have several presets for Facebook depending on whether you want to send the images to your wall, or a specific album. We’ll step through the Facebook setup first.
In the Export Panel, highlight “Facebook” and click on the “+” icon at the bottom to Add a new Preset.
The “Add Preset” dialog appears, and the first thing you will need to do is authenticate with Facebook. Note that you will need to authenticate every time you create a new preset, even with the same service, but you won’t need to authenticate when you actually export your images. Click on “Sign In.”
Two things happen: Your browser will be launched, and you’ll see the authentication page from Facebook. You’ll need to enter your credentials, and you can check “Keep me logged in to Adobe Bridge Export Panel.”
    Etc. etc.
You can follow the rest of the instructions here:

  • Facebook Export - Existing Albums Not Found

I have recently tried using Bridge to export photos to Facebook. However once I sign in, the box labeled "Existing Albums" is empty. This seems odd because I have over twenty existing albums on my Facebook page. Every time I want add photos to an existing album, I am forced click "Create a Photo Album" to create a new one then transfer the files from the new album to an existing one via the Facebook site.
Anyone else having this issue? Any solutions?
(Using Bridge CS5 v4.0.2.1 on Mac OsX 10.5.8)

    Dear users,
I’m glad to share a news with you. The Bridge Facebook module has ported to new Facebook API, also it fixed this issue (Existing albums do not show up). We have published the new version of Facebook to update server. You can update it by following steps
    1) launch Bridge and open Export panel.
    2) Select Manage Modules menu from fly-out menu of the Export panel.
    3) Select Check for Updates from Module Options menu.
    4) Wait for a while, a message pop up to notify you the update is complete.
    5) Restart Bridge, then you can use the new Facebook module.
Also, Bridge will automatically update Export Modules when you attempt to use a module. Please note that don’t do any export job when updating and Facebook presets might need to re-login before working.
The main change is the authorization steps. It uses a dialog instead of Explorer.
    Thanks
