Hi,
There is no other way, you have to save it one by one manually.

  • Export / save many workbooks at once on local disk

    Hello Experts,
we are working with BI 3.5 . My client wishes to save many workbooks of one role at once on his local disk.
He doesn't want to open every single workbook in the BExAnalyzer and save it on the local disk.
Is there a report or a transaction or something else to save many workbooks at once?
    Thanks for your help.

  • How do I change permissions on many files at once?

    Hello!
I recently had a large hard drive crash, and, long story short, I got all my data back but now have a different user account on a new hard drive.  The permissions on all the files on the computer are fine.
However, I am a recently graduated film student and use an external drive to edit video.  When I tried to open up Final Cut Pro and work on a project, I was told that the program couldn't work because I didn't have "write" access to my scratch drives.  I changed the permissions on the relevant folders and can now open the application fine, but can't actually edit because ALL the medi files don't give me full read/write access.
I can change them all one at a time, which requires I enter my password for each one, but this would take a few days of work to complete.
My question is: how can I add my user account with read/write permission to many files at once?  I've heard this can be done with Terminal, but I'm not sure how.
Please give me step-by-step instructions if you can!  I have never used Terminal before!  I am not a techie, but I want to be, and I learn quickly!
    My computer specs:
    15in Macbook Pro, early 2008.
    System 10.5.8

In the Finder's Get Info window, under permissions, you can click the little gear icon and set the "Apply to encoded items" flag. Then when you change permissions, it will apply to everything underneath the selected folder.

  • Has Lightroom CC removed the ability to Batch apply changes to many files at once (after import) using presets?

I've just upgraded to Lightroom CC and most of the changes are very welcome - especially the performance improvements.
However I've been processing several thousand images and in Lightroom 5 when wanting to apply changes to many images at once it was as simple as selecting the group of images and then right clicking, selecting Develop Settings and then selecting one of my many Presets from a sub menu.
This sub menu seems to have disappeared in Lightroom CC.
This is a MASSIVE problem for me as I cannot work out how to apply the presets to multiple images anymore.   I note that there is a tutorial on how to do it during import - but I want to specifically be able to do it post import, during development of large groups of images for clients.
Anyone know what has happened here and how we can get access to applying presets to multiple images during development under Lightroom CC?

    Yes ssprengel.
I regularly work with all the Presets visible in the left of the Develop module.   But this cannot be used to apply the preset to multiple images.   For that (in Lightroom 5) you had to select the multiple images and then right click (on any one of the images) then go down the menu to Develop Settings, then select the Preset Folder and the Preset you wished to apply to all the images selected.   This worked well for me in my workflow.   But the access to the Presets through the Develop Settings menu has been removed in Lightroom CC.   ManiacJoe's solution above works - but it's accessed from the Library module.   That's kind of counter intuitive.   I want access to apply any preset I've saved to multiple images (in many cases t's being applied to thousands of images) from within the Develop module.   it makes little sense to apply a preset one image at a time to thousands of images when developing them
The whole idea behind presets was that they could be quickly and consistently applied across multiple images.   Removing this functionality is a backward step by ADOBE in my opinion and I really want them to add it back to the Develop Module menu systems.

  • LK6.5 Modbus read/write to many addresses at once

LK6.5 Modbus read/write to many addresses at once. What happens as example; I have address 100 to 150 and 180-200. Addresses in between doesn't exist. Not all are connected. The modbus (Ethernet master) driver reads in a single command (in order to optimize) address 100-190.
That is a nice feature, but the result is a reply like "not existing" because between 150-180 are not existing. No error is shown in lookout (communication works OK).
I know I can do a workaround by setting maximum value per message to 1 or 2, but the project has 140 modbus objects with a total of around 4000 connections. I would like to use a big range in one command, but no addresses that are not existing. Beside of that, it looks like this is a problem that let the driver and/or lookout crash.
Any one knows a fast solution? Is there another updated modbus driver?

    more inputs:
The response from Modbus device actually doesn't specify which address has the problem if you read a range.
When you read a range, and a certain address in this range doesn't exist, do you get no data in lookout?
It depends on the Modbus device whether lookout gets error response or the good response. I don't see detailed definition in the Modbus specification. So, if a certain address in a range doesn't exist, the device may either return error or good response. But the problem is that the error reponse is just an error code. Lookout doesn't know which address has the problem. It may be a problem that you don't see alarm in Lookout.
I don't see a way on lookout side to get a better behaviour. Maybe you can consult the device provider for any advice, such as what should the modbus master do, is the range read expected?

  • Improvement: Delete many messages in once time

WHy aren't we able to remove many messages in once time. The only way we can do on latest iOS is to Delete one by one, it takes much time to do for all conversasion that we want to swipe out!!

Good question, but since this forum is user to user, I'm sure no one knows what Apple designs things exactly this certain way, so good luck getting an answer

  • Any way to export with multiple presets at once?

Hi! Is there any way to export with multiple presets at once? I do a lot of product photography, usually clients send me around 5 to 10 pieces to photograph, and from each photo requires to be exported to about 7 different formats and sizes for different uses. I have a preset for each export, but this requires multiple clicks per export, select the preset, the destination folder, etc.....   and at the end I end taking about 1 hour to just export files when if I could just select 1 time a folder of presets and the destination folder just once, then it will take no time to get all oft those exports.
    Thanks!

Some of those other photographers have assistants they can task with doing the drudgery.
I would describe what you're wanting scripted multiple exporting, not multiple export presets, because multiple-exports don't necessarily rely on presets, just initiating an Export and clicking on various things for each one.
I assume you have a preset set for each of the 7 format-size-uses variations, and then most of the time consuming part is setting the Choosing the destination folder that gets mirrored to DropBox?  You can copy/paste most of the path into the Folder address area after clicking Choose.
Without knowing what your master-photo folders and dropbox-mirror folder names and organization are it's hard to know if you've thought of all the shortcuts you might use or if things are organized in the most efficient manner.
If you're on Windows, maybe something like AutoHotKey macros would help with what you're doing.

  • Export as Many Records, as Have Been Imported

    Hi, guys!

    Best Regards

You don't need a script to do this, just create pass through maps in each dimension.

  • Can I save many images at once ?

Is there a way to save multiple images, after editing in Photoshop Elements 12 ?
I can save them one at a time, but this is pretty tedious when I have 1,000 or more to do, after flipping them all.

    lporebski1986 a écrit:
Can you explain it easier for me? I am very beginner at Photoshop Elements.
I am doing that: Open P.Elements > File > Open in Camera Raw > (Select Files, e.g. 100 from some trip) > (Do some changes to all images) > Click Open Image in P.Elements > (Do some other retouch) > File/Close All > Click Yes I want to save changes to file > and then I need to change format to JPEG, click Yes to overwrite file and Ok to JPEG option for all e.g. 100 files. Can I do this more automatically way? (e.g. click save change for every JPEG and confirm once)
    Thanks in advance for help.
When you use the ACR dialog to edit your raw images, after editing each picture, you have the choice to use the 'Done' button, which saves your edit settings in a tiny sidecar xmp file. Or if you need additional editing in the Elements editor, you click 'Open' and continue editing in the editor. In that case, yes, you have to save the result as jpeg and that creates a version set with a jpeg associated with the raw file. In your case, be sure that the menu on the bottom bar is set to export to 8 bits; that way the jpeg format will be preselected and you won't have to choose the format each time.
In a normal workflow, you won't have to do many additional edits in the editor. You'll simply use the 'Done' button most of the time.
Now, you generally need jpeg versions for different purposes: printing at home or from an external service, showing on your display or on the Web. You have to select the pictures for each purpose and choose the right format, size for your purpose, for instance printing or sending to the Web. That's where the organizer comes into play. Different ways to select your files to output, in albums for instance. The File/'Export as new files' lets you choose those formats and size; it will also let you rename your pictures; it will create the jpegs you want as new files ready for your purpose, even if your original files are raws.
Some users want to get a jpeg version of a batch of raw files even without opening the raw files in the ACR module. The above method also works for them.
If you don't use the Organizer, you also have a way from the editor: the File/process multiple files menu. That will work from either open files, or from files within a folder.

  • How to switch off 'crop' edit in many images at once?

I know how to lift and stamp to apply edits to several selected images at once. However, if I have cropped many images within a project in different ways, then want to switch off the crop on all of them, is there a way? Without laboriously going through one-by-one and un-checking the 'crop' box?
Likewise is it possible to apply auto-exposure to many images (batch process)? When stamping, it applies the exact same exposure change from the lifted version, but different images require different exposure compensations of course.

1 - yes, on one image leave the crop box checked and click the circular arrow (reset) ... this has the crop enabled but no crop ... then L&S that adjustment to all the ones you want, you just reset the crop on all of them ...
2 - no ... with the auto adjustment it creates an adjustment ... when you L&S that adjustment, that is what you get, that specific adjustment ... you are one of hundreds that want that and ask for it here ... use the feedback menu option to send feedback to dev team ... or use http://www.apple.com/feedback/aperture.html

  • Few Questions About Migrating Site & Editing Many Pages at Once

OK. First things first. My manager doesn't want me listing
our company name in this post since we are currently trying to get
out of our hosting contract and she doesn't want to jeapordize
anything in case someone stumbled across the post by a search or
anything. FYI: I have Dreamweaver CS3.
So here's the deal. My company would like to move our site
away from this proprietary WYSIWYG online editor we have. The
current setup locks us into to this silly online editor for our
site and doesn't allow access to our files on their server. This
means that if I want to simply change the file name of a picture on
our site, I have to log in to their editor and go through about ten
stupid steps. The problem is, the site is dynamically generated.
Every page on the site looks something like this at the end:
default.aspx?pageid=9. Those links are permanently attached to
specific pages and the content on the individual pages rarely
changes. I tried using some offline downloaders to grab every page
of our site in case we move it elsewhere. When these pages are
downloaded, though, the file names change and it breaks all of the
    links.
If I go into the code and change every individual link to
other pages and style sheets I can get it to look good.
So my first question is: is there a way to easily allow
Dreamweaver to import a couple hundred dynamically generated pages
and make them into static pages so that they just look like
"xyz.com/products.html"? Fortunately, our site is not extremely
large (maybe 250+ pages) so in an absolute worst case scenario I
could post a lot of the pages by hand.
My second question regards changing specific items across many
pages. Our current site contains the ability to place little
widgets into pages. This means that if we want a navigation bar on
a hundred different pages, we just edit the one entry for the
widget and every page changes. I'm sure this is possible in DW, but
I spent an hour trying to search online yesterday trying to find
info and didn't answer my question. Is this what templates are for?
I saw people mentioning Find All, but this didn't seem like a
perfect solution. I apologize if this is a very stupid question. No
one needs to take the time to explain the exact process to me, but
if someone could just tell me the name of the functionality and if
they know a specific resource to learn more about it, that would be
    wonderful.
Whatever this functionality is, would I have to start over from
scratch with the pages? Or could I implement it with the current
site that's already put together? I'd be happy to convert the
site to static HTML if there's an easy way to change multiple pages
at once other than Find All and Replace.
Thank you so, so much for any help. I appreciate it. I just
want to make sure these things are possible before we start the
    ball rolling down that path.

I think I could answer your questions with just one answer so
    here it goes.
What you need to do when making this type of mass move from
an online editor to DW would be to first download a copy of
everything you have just so you have a backup in case any mistakes
    are made.
Next with the downloading of the files. You will need to log
in via FTP in Dreamweaver or via your file manager on the control
panel of your website. If you are unsure of where this is or how to
log in via FTP, you may need to contact your host for the login
information. Even though the files appear to be dynamic I do
believe that most editors would just store the pages separately and
just uses includes to make that work. However, if this is not how
it appears, post back with the name of the editor that you were
    using.
Next, take one of the files you have. Based on the
description you are giving me it sounds as if they all look the
same just with different content (nav bar aside). If this is the
case you can create a template file in Dreamweaver. Within that
template you should place the content that is the same for all of
your pages. Then make one editable region for your content to go
into. These links can be found from the main toolbar for creating
editable regions and other template functions (which I believe
    includes the navbar).
Also one thing to note with templates is that they will
automatically fix links on the pages when you save the template to
include new files via links. So you don't have to worry about
updating all of the pages all of the time. The only thing you would
need to update the individual pages for would be for the content on
    those pages.
Hopefully this will get you started in the right direction.
But as I said in the beginning if you have trouble getting the
files off of the site post a bit more information about what you
have and hopefully someone here will be able to point you in the
    right direction.

  • Change Capitalization For Many Cells at Once

How can I change the captialization for many table cells at once. I can do it for one cell at a time by triple-clicking an choosing the capitalization menu within fonts, but if I select all the cells I want to change and then go to fonts>capitalization, the capitalization menu is dimmed.
    thanks,
    Jeff

I'm a little confused by this thread. As Badunit describes, can't you just select multiple cells and make a menu pick?
No need for formulas, right?  (unless it's a special situation of capitalizing the start of each sentence)
