Export page file to html

Wish export function to export to html file.
It makes very fine pages easily in pages.
One seen I do is export it as a pdf and correct in Photoshop or frireworks.
Anyone else who wants the export function?

It would be nice to have but I can see just how huge the job would be.
DTP and Web layout are two very different media. Apple has already had one crack at it with iWeb which after the usual brief enthusiasm they abandoned.
If Apple managed to give us Web pages with all the layout abilities of Pages we could forgive them a lot else.
iBooks Author has a better chnace of achieving this.
Have a look at RapidWeaver, Sandvox, Flux or Freeway which to varying degrees offer some sort of WYSIWYG web layout.

  • Problems Uploading a Pages file in html format including pictures to web pa

I have problems uploading a Pages file in html format to a web page.
The files itself is downloaded but the images are not. How can I upload a page file in html including the pictures or illustrations?

I just bought a macbook as well as the iwork software. I am having a few problems. I am a student and when I try to print out documents (originally word documents) it puts them automatically into textedit instead of pages. Also, the pages get all screwed up, things are missing, etc. How do I make pages my default and do i need to export? import? or do something so that these documents show up perfectly in pages?
A second questions- When i try to print out slideshows in keynote (originally from powerpoint) the handouts print on the little edge of the paper horizontally rather than the long way. I am hoping these are easy adjustments.
I would appreciate any help anyone can give me.
    Thank you!

  • How can I fix this problem with exporting Pages files?

    Hello,
I'm having problems with exporting Pages files to Word or PDF (I haven't tried the other formats). Whenever I try to export the Page file, I get one message like this: "The document "XXXXXXX" could not be exported as "YYYYYYY". This problem started after the last Pages update, before that it was working fine. I restarted the computer, updated the OS, but the problem hasn't been solved.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
    Thank you in advance!
    Best regards,
    Filipe

Computers are made of parts made by humans and assembled by humans of materials that are not perfect.
For example, a display cable that was accidentally pinched during assembly would pass quality control testing with flying colors and would not fail until the lid had been opened and closed several times.
Likewise a display might not fail until powered on and off a few hundred times.

  • Muse wont export my files in html and gives an error code when trying to upload to BC

Here is the error message I get but when we go to correct the file and replace it in Muse we still are getting this message.

    Hi,
Can you provide me the url of your site ?
Also, Please do a fresh upload of your site files to your server and this time make sure that you are not missing on any of the files that was generated by Muse.
And you dont need to upload the .oam files onto your server separately as the files generated by Muse on exporting contains all the HTML , CSS and Javascript used in your Edge Animation.

  • In either Numbers is there a way to export my file as HTML?

Being new to Numbers I want to find out how to export or save my spreadsheet as a HTML file (Excel has a "save as webpage" option).  I want to publish my spreadsheet (or imbed) into my website rahter than use a PDF file.  Simple reason is the non-PDF file looks much nicer with colors, etc.  Thank you, in advance, for your help.

    For sure,
iWork is definitely not the tool to use when we need to create Html files.

  • How to export spool file into HTML file

    Hi,
I have one Oracle procedure which meets our business requirement. I am keeping the output data into a log file and I am sharing that log file to the users.
    Sample Code:
    spool path\logile.log
    declare
    begin
    dbms_output.Put_line('output will come here');
    end;
Now I want to spool the same output data into a HTML file and need to share with the users.
Can any one please guide me, how to export our spool data into HTML format?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello 909127,
    welcome to the forum.
This is the forum for the tool Oracle Reports, not a general forum for reporting. Your question might be better posted in {forum:id=75} or {forum:id=144}.
Nevertheless you need to give us more information, how your output looks like now and what you expect in HTML.

  • How can export psd file to html including css in center position at  flexible layout

    need urgent help

Html is not an image format. It is a text format that can point to a png or jpg image in your web page.
Depending on the image, it may be easier to just export as a jpg or png and let dreamweaver worry about the html and css.
However, if you preview the image from the save for web dialog box in a web browser, it will give you the html code, that was generated for that preview.
In the windows menu you should find a css panel to use.

  • Exporting Pages document to HTML

When I export to HTML a pages document created with my own template, the HTLM document shown images not in the original document.
My question is how do I correct the problem if I can NOT see the images in the pages document? are they hideen behind the text? The images probably came from my trial and error of creating image placeholders however they no longer appear in the pages template or document.
    Please help.

    Welcome to the discussions.
Save yourself grief, time, and torn out hair. Don't try to create HTML in Pages. Use an HTML editor instead. If you want a WYSIWYG program, try iweb, nvu/seamonkey, sandvox, rapidweaver, shutterbug, freeway, dreamweaver.

    Hi MooksGoo_howdy
There's a fair bit of discussion of this topic in http://forums.adobe.com/message/4635231#4635231.
In general you have to manually create the file/folder structure the SWF expects in the hosting environment. There's no way for Muse to know what files the SWF depends upon, if any, and where they need to be located.
A SWF that has external dependencies will never work in Muse Preview or Muse Preview in Browser, but can be made to work on a published/uploaded site by manually using an FTP client to create the file/folder structure the SWF requires.

  • I can't export anymore pages file to pdf

When I try to export pages file in pdf format (ever done without problems till few hours ago!) there is an alert advising me that files name having more than 31 characters can't be saved in the destination volume. But although I cut the lenght of the file name, the alert still be. I'm blocked with any possibility to transform pages file in pdf and I need it. I also reset the mac , but nothing happened. PLEASE HELP ME !!!

    Hi,
I'm using version 4.1.  As far as Pages is concerned, nothing else has happened.  Everything was working normally.  However, I had to uninstall Norton recently because the online Back-up that came bundled with my renewal was creating crazy log files that took up my entire hard drive (over 900 GB).  I don't see how that would be related to my problems with Pages.  Any insight would be really appreciated.  Thanks!

  • Can i open PAGES file on MS WORD 2003 (PC)?

i type my documents on my iBook's PAGES and i wonder, would i be able to open all these docs on the conference room's PC laptop running windows XP (MS WORD 2003) without me carrying the iBook to work i plan to bring the file i saved with PAGES on a flash drive.
what should i avoid in saving files in PAGES to avoid incompatibilities with MS WORD 2003?
    thanks.

    Hello Alvin,
you are only able to open Pages files/documents in Pages. I fyou want to open a document you have made in Pages in other apps, export the document to a file type the other apps can open. For word this is a ".doc" or try a ".rtf" file. But since there are a lot of incompatibilities between the different versions of Word documents for Windows, you have to try with what version of Word you are able to open the exported Pages file.
    Frank.

Are you still facing the same error ? Also, have you tried to export the file as html , does it shows same error ? You can upload the exported html to your server using any FTP client as an alternative.

We've created a 'flip book' in Indesign and exported it as a swf and html docs. These docs both view correctly locally, but when uploaded into the same directory on our server and viewed via safari or chrome, they both appear as blank browser pages.
    html page is here: http://www.thinktankcd.com/SmartsquareBrochure_030215_test.html
Any idea what we've done wrong?

Thanks Sumit, but ID didn't create any other resources to go along with the swf and html files. Besides, it doesn't need to; there are no other resources but it still works locally. The swf is a stand alone file, the html just gives access to that file when accessed via a browser.
