Export PCUI search result to Excel over Context Menu / right mousebutton

Hello
I am using CRM 5.0 and PCUI
I want to export the search result into Excel, on Servicetickets (BUS2000116). When i press the right mousebutton on the searchresult, I get the option Export to Microsoft Excel.
When i choose this option, Excel opens and i get the error message "Unable to open ......./mainDH.do. The Internet site reports that a connection was established but the data is not available."
and the cell A1 says ExternalData_1.
In Thread Export PCUI search result to Excel, Manuel Rodriguez told "Standard Export to excel is avaible in PCUI 5.0 and dont works in PCUI 4.0.". But I still can't make it work.
Anybody an Idea how I can do it work ???

Hi Thomas,
you should not use the right click and Export to Excel. I think this is a functionality of Internet Explorer for HTML Tabes. Using that functionality you will only get the actual table exported. Do you see the Button "Download" in the Toolbar? That's the export to Excel functionality introduced in CRM 5.0.

As this drop down is now different in UCM 10gR3 this no longer appears to work (I get an error when adding these as a resource file) I presume I need change this include "$include super.custom_searchapi_result_options". How do I find out which include to use? I am quite new to creating custom components.

Show search result in Portal navigation context?

My question is if it is possible to show a search result in the context of the portal navigation?
After a standard search with TREX a KM-document/folder opens in a new window without any navigation context (and portalframework). We find this not very userfriendly. We use the SAPPortal/KM (NW04 SP17) as an Intranet-solution. The KM-folderstructure is similar to the portal navigation so every folder/document is shown only once in the portal navigation. There is one portal role which contains all the KM-navigation-iViews to the different KM-folders.
I have searched the forum but could not find any information. Any help/ideas are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

We have just made a proof of concept for this and it works. Please understand that this is SUCH a great thing we have implemented that in this special case I won't post details about the solution on SDN - but be sure you can always ask btexx to implement it for you
The solution does not restrict to KM content, but catches all content displayed within the portal (if you want, restricted to certain roles)!
If you are at TechEd, we certainly can have a talk about it, also give you a live demonstration. See you in Amsterdam?!

Google search results acting are not showing up right after FF update

So after I updated FF from 12 to 13 my Google search results have been weird whether I search from the homepage, tool bar or from Google.com. For example if I were to search " Avatar: The Last Airbender wiki" you would expect the Wikipedia page for the show to be the first result but this is what ends up showing up:

But if I were to search in Private Browsing mode this is what I get:

Same search yet it yields to different results and I tried it in IE and Chrome and the search is working just fine in both of those as well. The problem seems to only be when I search for something in FF normally.
If anyone can shed some light into why this is happening I would be grateful, since I prefer FF to anything else.

Block javascript/HTML context menu/right click controls

anyone know of an extension/add-on that will let me remove a publisher's ability to control my context menu and/or right-click ability ?
right now, publishers can use

or something like

and i end up using wget which always annoys me.

Can I use applescript to export PDF search results from "preview"?

My question is about "Preview". I have a very large PDF document that I am using preview to view. After doing a search for a specific word, preview has returned 1200 results. The results panel shows the page number the result is found on and the line of text on which the searched-for-word is found.
My question is this: Is there a way to export this information from preview to something like an excel file? The end result would look like a table with two columns. One with the page numbers and one with the line of text in which the word appears.
Is this something that can be done with applescript? I don't know if the system even stores that kind of information... /sigh. Any help is appreciated.

Many items don't have any page number. Is that what you are asking for?

Error on hover panel of people search result "We weren't able to find additional information"

In people search result while hovering over all result item, in the hover panel in the middle I can see a message "We weren't able to find additional information".
I saw a msdn post for the same question in this

but there it is said that "If the person has no authored documents, then it will display this in the hover panel: We weren't able to find additional information."
But for my case the authored document is also shown.

Did I missed something?

Firefox v.34.0.5 redirects search results to yahoo

If you want to restore the previously used standalone window to manage search engines then you can toggle this pref to false with a middle-click on the about:config page.

Remove wine trash from context menu

If I right-click on most files in linux, there is all kinds of wine options there that I do not want. Namely, notepad (2 instances), Internet Explorer, etc.
How do I get rid of it without uninstalling wine? I am using XFCE with PCMANFM as desktop manager.

In Dolphin, for .txt files, I have TWO "notepad" entries!
Even for avi and mkv files I have a "notepad" entry in there (not by default, obviously). What the hell.
.jpg files have a "Wine Internet Explorer" entry but .html files don't? Unbelievable...
Too bad pacman doesn't delete their config files when you uninstall programs. Because I got rid of Wine a long, long time ago and I just couldn't be bothered to search how clean up the context menu leftovers. Hmph. It's about time I reinstalled Arch anyway (switching to x86_64). Now I know not to install Wine ever, EVER again. VirtualBox all the way, baby!

Jongware -- it's not the sort of get around you could use for scripts meant for the public. But for private use, it's perfect.
I don't use style groups. Don't know about CS4, but with CS3, if you cut and paste something from another doc in the same book (something I need to do a lot) or import more text from Word, the new styles won't match up with the existing ones in the groups: they'd be duplicated as single styles in no group. So it made the feature useless, for me, because of the fuss required to delete them and replace them with their twins.
I really like your work around. The character styles thing doesn't matter. I just did a try {} catch to see if the style was para or char.
The script I wrote is a simple one. It just copies the style to the find dialog box settings, then zooms to the first instance of it. Not much in itself, but great when you first import Word text that has 40 styles and you need to get an idea of how each style is used without scrolling painfully through the long list in the find dialog.

Print from context menu don't resize document

I have a problem on Acrobat Reader X (but the same problem exists on reader from version 9).
I have a pdf file with image inside, page size A3, when click print on context menu (right click on the file), the document is send to print, but it's not resize and the image is partial draw.
When I repeat same operation with Reader 8, the document is print correct.
Any idea?

Acrobat X Pro - Windows 7 - Missing context menu

Hi, so I just installed Adobe Acrobat X Pro on a Windows 7 computer and noticed how the context menu "right click" for "Combine PDF files" are missing. Open with Adobe Acrobat X however is there, but when selecting two or more PDF files, this option isn't there anymore. It was before installing Acrobat X from Acrobat 9.3.
I tried regsvr32 for ContextMenu.dll as well as the ContextMenu64.dll, since this is a 64bit Windows 7 computer. I also tried removing the entry from registry. When I ran the regsvr32 again, the registry entry came back. So the registering of the dll seems to be working.
The only thing I haven't tried yet is to restart the computer. Would that be necessary? Or is this option removed from Acrobat X?

do the following to see if you get them back
register the Contextmenu64.dll (if on a 64bit system)
located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 10.0\Acrobat Elements
Open a command prompt as an administrator
type:
cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 10.0\Acrobat Elements
hit return
type:
regsvr32 Contextmenu64.dll
hit return
check if these context menu's have returned for supported files.
I had the same issue and this worked for me.
