  • Trouble exporting pdf with Arabic text to .doc file

I am having an issue exporting a pdf from the trial of Acrobat Pro XI on a Windows 7 computer.
The pdf has a table with English fields in the left column and Arabic equivalents in the right column.
It appears to display fine within Acrobat, so I assume it has fonts embedded and that Acrobat is somehow handling the display of the Arabic font correctly.
I need to export this to .doc or .docx so that I can enter additional data.
When I convert to .doc, the English column and fields convert pretty good, but the Arabic fields do not display well at all. I am not sure if this is some sort of trouble with Word (or the Windows OS) requiring an Arabic font or Arabic text support to be installed on the system or if there is some other issue (such as Acrobat not handling the conversion well)??.
I did note that there is an Arabic Font add on to Acrobat that can be downloaded from Here:
    http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/thankyou.jsp?ftpID=4885&fileID=4558
However, since Acrobat is seeming to properly display the Arabic text, I don't know that this is required...additionally when I tried to install the Arabic font support from that URL, it told me that Acrobat X was require, I am using Acrobat XI reader (installed with the trial version of Acrobat pro that I wish to purchase if I can get this working properly).
Thanks in advance for any assistance or advice offered on this subject.

Unfortunately our conversion engine cannot convert text, such as Arabic, which reads from right to left.  It maybe something that we add in the future however it is not available at this time.

  • Saving converted Export PDF files

I use the Export PDF function, convert to Word Doc, and a dialogue appears asking me to download the conversion as it is successful.  When I try to save the document to my Desktop, it won't.  There is a drop-down box next to the Save button that says 'Save to Online Account' - I have no idea what this means - where is my converted file and how do I access it?

    Hi DJ,
    I'd like to assist!
Are you using a MAC or PC?
You can always access your files by going to files.acrobat.com and logging in using your Adobe ID and password. You should be able to download them from there.
Looking forward to hearing back from you!
    Kind regards, Stacy

  • Does anybody know if Adobe Export PDF can do something that Adobe PDF Pack can't?

I only need to scan and download documents into a pdf format, convert pdf docs to
Word or Excel for editing and  visa versa.    I have both Adobe Export PDF and Adobe PDF Pack.  Don't remember why I bought both of them.  It looks like PDF Pack does everything that Export PDF does, plus a bunch of other things.  They are both up for renewal in November.   I think I can drop Adobe Export PDF and just keep Adobe PDF Pack.  Does anybody know if there's any reason I should keep Adobe Export PDF?

    Hi,
here a translation of a "judging" of a German computer newspaper, which I tried to translate:
Adobe Export PDF - professional conversion tool on the Web:
Users get the opportunity to as many PDF documents into Office formats Word (. Doc and. Docx) and Excel (. Xlsx) as well as in the Rich Text Format (RTF) to export. As the provider explained, paragraphs, and paragraph spacing, multi-column text, images and tables are taken. Also scanned PDF documents could be easily convert, so Adobe. With the help of OCR technology (Optical Character Recognition), users can edit the documents after converting any.
Conclusion: Who wants to export important PDF files to Word, Excel or RTF and is willing to spend a little money for a reliable solution which finds Adobe PDF export the appropriate tool.

  • Export PDF makes garbled conversions

I have pdf files that I've converted to Word. On the Cloud they look perfect, but when I download them, they are garbled and the copy is all over the place. These are brochures that I originally created in Pagemaker, but since I cannot use that anymore, I need to set them up in Open Office. OO will open other word documents, but not these. I've had nothing but trouble with this program since I first purchased it back in January. HELP!

One more thing. I read the forum and they said to use the insert mark in the text I wanted to edit and the triple click. All I get is an arrow...no insert mark.

    Hi JeanieGram5,
Did you scan the PageMaker brochures and save them as PDFs? And are you previewing the converted files in your Acrobat.com account, or the original PDF files? What happens when you try to open the converted files in Open Office? Do you get an error, or do they just look bad?

  • Conversion of Microsoft Word 2010 to PDF-Links not working in the PDF

I have a Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit Operating System and Microsoft Word 2010. There is a particular word document(Word 2010) that I need to convert to PDF.I did a "save as" and stored it as a PDF. But the issue in the PDF is that the links in the "Table of Contents" do NOT work. I am using Adobe Reader 10.1.2.Please let me know how could I do the conversion and how can the links work correctly

Adobe Reader 10.1.2 cannot convert DOC files to PDFs. You will need Adobe Acrobat to do this.
Save As > Adobe PDF feature is using Microsoft's PDF converter. You may need to follow up with them regarding the same.

  • Need help. Exporting pdf to Word or cretaing live fields in doc

I need to take a 180pg doc and save it as a word doc or manage to turn all the necessary areas into live fields. I've tried going to export > word document or File > export to anything really and I keep getting this error message
Adobe was unabl;e to make this document accessible becuase of the following error:
Bad PDF; could not read page structure. Bad PDF; error in processing fonts cannot find CMap resource file> [3]
I received this document form a client overseas. I can't get them to resend another copy.
Anyway's I can get around this error? I'm desperate I have 9 other docs with the same amount of page to make live

Sounds that you want to make the PDF files live and then edit them in Word? Why not directly edit them in Adobe Acrobat? It can help directly edit PDF, the conversion is unnecessary. And if you really want to export PDF to Word but the acrobat can help you little, you would try free PDF to Word Converter, which may help you for the conversion. However, I am not sure you would do that work well. Because I am a little confused about the problem you described. Just have a try and it may helps.

  • How can Hebrew letters in a pdf file be reproduced with Hebrew as a word doc using adobe export pdf?

Try Goodreader in the App Store. It should do the job for you.

  • Export PDF converts filled PDF form without the data - Turns filled PDF form onto blank Word doc. Is there a solution to this or did Adobe just sell me a service that doesn't work?

Export PDF converts filled PDF form without the data - Turns filled PDF form onto blank Word doc. Is there a solution to this or did Adobe just sell me a service that doesn't work?

ExportPDF is not for forms. In general, converting forms to Word is a really, really bad idea which can even cause legal problems. Work with the form as a PDF. Acrobat (not Reader) can export form data as simple text for example.

  • Help with Export PDF to Word doc

I subscribed to export PDF. I am signed in. I click on convert to Word doc and it looks like Adobe is doing something. Then I click on view converted files and it keeps taking me to the subscribe page!! I feel like Adobe has just stolen $23 from me!!!!!!

    Hi dou,
I just checked your account, and it looks like you should be good-to-go. If you're still receiving a message about subscribing, it's likely that you just need to sign in to the service.  From the ExportPDF website, click Sign in at the upper-right corner, and log in to the service with your Adobe ID credentials. Now, when you click ExportPDF, you'll be prompted to select PDF files to export, instead of being asked to subscribe.

  • Export PDF files to office doc formats

I subscribed to the free trial of export PDF to Word but never succeeded to use it as I got after any trial a reply:"You don't have any more exports remaining in your trial. To export more PDF files to Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel, upgrade to a premium subscription."
I just mean to try it/

I'm afraid we no longer offer a trial of our ExportPDF service.  I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
We do offer a 30-day return policy on all our products though.  If you choose to subscribe to the ExportPDF service and it doesn't meet your needs, simply request a refund within 30-days of purchase and our staff will take care of your request.
