Export photos from samsung phone to Ipad

Hi have purchased mini Ipad. I have photos on my Nokia E63 and wish to export to my ipad or mac computer OSX version 10.5.8.
I can bluetooth photos from my phone to my computer but am unsure how to go about it all with the ipad, anyone out there can help me?

In theory Meg's advice would work if your Mac was running OS X 10.6.8. You will have to upgrade the OS before you can sync your iPad mini with the Mac. So if you can import the photos to the Mac, you will not be able to sync them with iTunes. You will not be able to sync at all with iTunes for that matter.

Sorry but your iPhoto library is not on an iPad or iPod - you may have photos there (most likely low resolution copies) but not an iPhoto library - dying computers (along with software and human errors) are why you always must have a backup - now is the time to load it

You can only use the kit to copy photos from a card (or direct from a camera) to the iPad's Photos app, you can't use it to copy content off the iPad.
To copy photos to the iPad via the kit, then if you are copying the photos onto the card yourself from your computer then you will need to create a DCIM directory off the root of the card, with the photos underneath it, and the photo filenames need to be exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension i.e. in a similar format as if a camera had created/written them

Photostream in the cloud only keeps photos from the last 30 days (subject to a 1,000 photo limit). When photostream syncs the photos to your device they will stay there until deleted, which means you may well have more photos in your photostream album on your device than there are in photostream in the cloud.
The consequence of this is that if you turn photostream off and on again on your device (or enable it for the first time), it will only be populated with photos from the last 30 days, which may not be all the photos that were previously in the photostream album on that device.
