Export places data with photos

Hi
Is there an easy way to export pictures with the location data?
I have both pictures that had an original gps data and some that I manually added in iPhoto.
Any idea?
Thank you.

Ok, what am I missing?
I have manually set mapped a photo in iPhoto (I have no automatic geolocation hardware), have checked the "Include location information for published photos" in the Web preferences (shouldn't matter), yet when I File Export, Kind: JPEG, "Maximum" JPEG quality, both "Title and keywords" and "Location information" are checked (the latter is grayed out if the former is unchecked), Size: Full Size...
The location information is not to be found using the Finder's Get Info on the exported file (the keywords are present), and the photo is not auto-mapped when uploading it to Panoramio.
iPhoto's Extended Photo Info DOES show the GPS info.
Whatever I try, I cannot seem to get the GPS info in the exported file.

  • Add or edit geotag (GPS) data with Photos App

    Geotag is an EXIF metadata associated with a single photo that give the geographical location of where the photo has been taken. At this time, the geotag EXIF is fully supported by Photos (we see the location on a map) and we have the option to strip the information when we share the photo. To work with Photos, the EXIF geotagging info must be embedded with the photo when it is transferred from the camera to the Photos App.
    However, many cameras don't have a GPS that sets the photo location. The geotag must be added later manually. Some photo editing software strip EXIF data (or just Geotag data) and sometimes these photo editor apps set geotag of their own (the location where the picture is edited, not the original location where the picture comes from).
    It would be nice to add a geotag addition/edition feature to Photos.app.

    Now that iCloud drive keeps the photo library synced between all devices it would be nice if there was a way to edit tags, geotags, descriptions, etc.  on iCloud.com as well as IOS.
    I tested to add GPS using AppleScript, but most of the EXIF field are readonly and we cannot change the GPS tags with Apple Script in iPhoto. It was possible to do that in Aperture, but does not work in Photos.
    Right now, it is best to add GPS before importing to Photos.

  • Export my data with windows safe mode

    i have problems with windows server 2003 st that i can open windows in safe mode only ,
    i want to export my data in that case !!!
    Any Help ...

    That's a Windows, not an Oracle problem. Safe mode is only suitable for OS maintenance tasks, not for regular working. Many services don't run, dlls are not loaded. Solve your basic problem, then start Oracle again.

  • Export Topology Data with an API

    I want to export Topology Data stored in Oracle to GML 3 or another specific data format.
    I want to do this with an API? Is this possible and does it make sence to do this with an API? Is there an other way to do this? (The export2gml fuction in Oracle 10g does not provide an export von topoloy elements)

    You could certainly use export2gml to export the nodes and edges from the topology model (via their respective tables). Once you have the GML representations of these just about any other topology model that can read GML should know what to do with these. What exactly are you looking for that you are not finding?

  • How to export ALL my GPS data with photos?

    Hi,
    I hope you can help me save a lot of time.
    For various reasons I have abandoned Aperture 3 in favour of Lightroom 5, and as part of the process (severl months ago) I exported all my 30,000 photos out of my aperture library along with sidecar files so that I would be able to keep my metadata. All but a few gopro phots are geotagged, however I have now discovered that for 14,000 of these images no GPS data was included in the sidecar file.
    As far as I have been able to research I have two options. First to re-build the library by re-exporting the files, merge this with my current Lightroom library and hope I don't get any duplicates. Or, secondly, re-tag the 14,000 photos manually or from the GPX files I still have hanging around.
    What I really would like to know is if there is a 3rd option?
    What would be nice is a way to export only the GPS data and time stamps for all 30,000 and then use that as a track in Lightroom...is that possible?
    Thanks for any help

    I'm not aware of a way to do that from Aperture but it should be possible to script that ability.
    Just run through all the images and have the script output the EXIF data you want. Not to difficult if you have any  Applescript experience. If not I'm afraid you will need to resort to your other options.

  • Create summary file as part of export and send with photos via ftp?

    I've looked this forum quite a bit tonight, but I'm under a tight deadline, so I'm going ahead and posting.  Excuse me if I'm asking something that is answered elsewhere in the forum.
    I need to add a step to a custom FTP export plugin that will generate a summary file of the export, including some user input information.
    Can anyone point me to a specific tutorial or sample for this type of thing?  This would be something similar to LR/Transporter, but need to be included in the same plugin, not as an extra step by the user (i.e., it could be a post processing action, but can't be another whole plugin and step for the Lightroom user).
    Essentially being able to generate either an XML, CSV or general text file that would be FTP'd along with the photos, with custom data written into that file that would include data provided by the user in custom dialog during the export process.
    Thanks in advance,
    Ed M.

    You've probably already worked this one out but I thought I
    would post my solution - not elegant but it works
    I spent two days trying to find an asp.net solution in VB.net
    to no avail so here goes:
    Actionscript:
    var bitMD:BitmapData = new BitmapData(this.width,this.height)
    bitMD.draw(this);
    var _PNG:ByteArray = PNGEncoder.encode(bitMD);
    var U:URLRequest = new URLRequest
    U.method = URLRequestMethod.POST
    U.data = _PNG;
    U.contentType="application/octet-stream";
    U.url = "
    http://localhost/CARTO/image.aspx";
    var UR:URLLoader = new URLLoader
    UR.dataFormat = URLLoaderDataFormat.TEXT
    UR.load(U);
    ASP.NET
    Protected Sub Page_Load(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As
    System.EventArgs) Handles Me.Load
    Dim b() As Byte = Request.BinaryRead(Request.TotalBytes)
    Dim ms As MemoryStream = New MemoryStream(b)
    Dim img As System.Drawing.Image = Bitmap.FromStream(ms)
    Dim bmp As Bitmap = New Bitmap(img)
    Dim tempStream As New MemoryStream()
    bmp.Save(tempStream, System.Drawing.Imaging.ImageFormat.Png)
    Dim fs As New

    i think that if i do export data and import it with new (charset and nls_lang) it will be success....but how can i do it??
    thank u
    regards

    Hi did you already exported data from SQL SERVER? if not using SQL*LOADER you cannot export data. SQL*LOADER is only mean for importing data from flat files(usually text files) into ORACLE tables.
    for importing data into oracle tables using sql*loader use below steps
    1) create a sql*loader control file.
    it looks like as follows
    LOAD DATA
    INFILE 'sample.dat'
    BADFILE 'sample.bad'
    DISCARDFILE 'sample.dsc'
    APPEND
    INTO TABLE emp
    TRAILING NULLCOLS
    or for sample script of control file search google.
    2) at command prompt issue following
    $ sqlldr test/test
    enter control file=<give control file name which you create earlier>
    debug any errors (if occured)

  • Exporting the Places map with attached photos

    Is there a way to export the places map, with photos, to a web page or mobile me so a person can click on a pin and see the photo, just like it works when running iPhoto?

    Google's free photo service, Picasaweb, offers the kind of the map and photos you seem to be looking for. For example:
    http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/albumMap?uname=dankohn&aid=5560978952766944097#ma p
    Unfortunately, the Picasa exporter for iPhoto strips out the geotagging information on upload. So, instead, you can use Phoshare to export your pictures to a folder with full metadata included. Then, use the free Picasa software to upload to Google.
