Export PLD to MS-Word

Hello SAP B1 Xperts,
I have set the following path in MS Word Temp folder as:
C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One\WordDocs\English\
and even tried with:
C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One\WordDocs\ (I have full auth. and trying from manager id)
When I click on MS Word icon to export any doc., it neither asks where to save it, nor gets AutoOpen.
Please suggest me, as of where are these exported docs are getting saved.
Because when i again click on the MS Word icon for the same sales Order, it shows a dialogue box with message
"Document named ORDR 360.doc already exists. Replace with a new name?" with 3 buttons Open Existing/Replace/Cancel.
This 'Open Existing' too not working.
Please suggest if any Settings part I am missing out.

Hello All,
Solved.
Actually when I clicked on 'Open Existing' button on that Dialogue box, it opened a Word file 'Docmnhl1.doc' from the specified path. Its a template designed for conversion. To get the PLD converted into MS Word, first, we need to 'Enable the Macros' settings in MS Word doc. Then only it gets converted according to the template.

Exporting Track Changes to Word no longer works

Just like it says in the subject line: It used to be that I could get a Word doc with Track Changes on and comments from my editor, do my own changes/add comments, then export it as a Word doc no problem. Now Pages either refuses to export the document or mangles it when exporting, causing certain changes to be automatically accepted or declined.
I was hoping that today's iCloud update for iWork would have this little bug fix in it, but no luck. Has anyone else encountered this and does anyone have any suggestions for how to fix it?

I think your problem could be a simple one of corrupt preferences. I think Yvan's script removes them, but maybe not. When something that used to work stops doing so, the most likely culprit is corrupt preferences. Go to HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences, delete the com.apple.iwork.pages.plist file & then restart Pages. In Finder, hold down the Option key while clicking on the Go menu & your user Library will appear about halfway down the list.

When I paste a Pages document into an email it looks totally different. Even when I export it too Microsoft Word the Word document looks different. Apparently this does not happen if you have Word on your computer. Does anyone have experience?

I need to be able to copy/paste documents into the body of an email and have them look exactly like the original document. I could always do this on my PC using Microsoft Word. And all writers submitting work to agents do this. I just tried it with Apple's Pages and when I pasted it into the body of the email, the document looked totally different . . . no double spacing, no paragraphing etc. Even when I exported the document to Word, I copy/pasted it into an email and it looked totally different. I suspect Apple's version of Word does not perform like the real Word in all circumstances . . . Before I go out and buy Word and put it on my Apple, I would like to know if anyone else has had this issue and how they may have dealt with it. Thanks.

Drag and drop the file into the email, the formatting will be retained when it is opened by the recipient.

I was testing the preciseness & efficiency of Adobe acrobat x professional's doc conversion capabilities. As i have to take a document editing project in future which is going to need lot of pdf to word and vice versa conversions . What I did was I created a test word document converted into a pdf using a pdf maker in my word 2007 , Acrobat did convert the document from word to pdf keeping everything in the source file intact , However when i tried the other way round and attempted to convert the same pdf to word 2007 file format I lost my formatting ?So the font that I used to create the pdf are the ones taken from word 2007 which i believe is using the fonts that are installed in my computer. Any suggestions on how to preserve the formatting of the document after converting it from pdf to word file format?

Create a one word pdf file. Try converting to word. If that fails, try a complete uninstall, run the cleaner tool, then re-install.

Problems in exporting crystal report to word format

Hi All,
I am getting trouble in exporting crystal report to word formats.
Here are my questions:
1) The exported word file will have a text "R..950" added on top right hand corner, How to get rid of it?
2) For those "Can Grow" fields, it can show multiple line data correctly in the viewer. However, the text box in exported word file will be too small to show all the content and lower half of the text is cut.

The version of crystal report designer and viewer which I am using is version 11 Release 2.
Besides, I guess it might relate to the format of report so I would like to tell you more.
Font Face: Arial Unicode MS (in order to show chinese characters)
Font Size: 9 pt
For the text "R..950" issue, I just found that some people in the internet having the same issue and they suggested that may relate to the locate. In my case, the locate is Chinese (Hong Kong S.A.R.).
If it is necessary, I may send you my report with sample for test.

Convert pdf files into wiki pages, and export wiki pages as word and pdf files

I am working on an enterprise wiki site collection inside my SharePoint server 2013. And there was a requirement to automatically generate wiki pages from word documents. As I read that the built-in service within SharePoint does not support importing the
pictures within the word documents. So I looked into 3rd party tools and I settle on the “Kaboodle Word to Wiki” link
which will manage to convert word docs into wiki pages, with only minor layout problems.
But I want to know if there are additional tools which support the following:-
Converting pdf files to SharePoint wiki pages.
Exporting SharePoint wiki pages into pdf and word documents?

I haven't seen any third party tool converting pdf files to SharePoint wiki pages and and exporting SharePoint wiki pages into pdf and word files.
You need to write custom feature where you can use iTextSharp pdf for pdf conversion. you can also check below blog which shows the export of SharePoint Wiki to Word/PDF without 3rd party tools:

You cannot export the responses to Word Document. However, you can export it to Excel, CSV and PDF format.
1) Go to Response
2) Click on File>Export on the right hand side.

I have paid for this service for a year and it never worked on my computer. I just renewed and it finally converted the file but it will not let me edit it. I join you in being bummed. Either I get help with this or I am asking for a 2 year refund. My intention was to be able to edit a pdf in MS Word.

your requirement is clear. Currently, the export of Vendor Statement to Word is really not supported. I would like to understand urgency and severity of the requirement.
I was wondering in which business situation B1 customer woulld utilize editing of Vendor Statement document. Why would he/she need to do it? What is being done with the statement after? Is it sent to the particular vendor? What does customer expect from the vendor then?

You can if you have Acrobat. If you don't, feel free to give it a try. You can download a 30-day trial from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html.
Keep in mind, though, that Acrobat isn't intended to be a word processor. So, while you can make adjustments to text and graphics, if you need to do a major overhaul of the text in the document, it's best to go back to the source document and edit the content there.
