Export Premiere CS6 keyboard shortcuts on OSX lion? Comment exporter raccourcis clavier Premiere CS6

(Mac OS Lion) How can I export my Premiere CS6 keyboard shortcuts on another computer (without print and retyping)?
(Mac OS Lion) Comment exporter les raccourcis clavier de Premiere Pro CS6 et les importer sur un autre ordinateur  (sans imprimer et retaper les raccourcis un à un)?

Hi,
This might help:
Adobe Forums: Finding and customizing keyboard shortcuts
In Lion you will need to find a way to get into the Library folder which is hidden. One methode would be to use the Goto command and paste the thread: (your main harddrive name)/users/userfolder/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Premiere Pro/6.0
If that doesn't work right away then reduce the thread back until your in the hiden Library folder and then look for a Premiere Pro folder.
Cheers,
DK

  • How do I change the cmd w (close window) shortcut on OSX Lion?

    Hi,
I have a macbook air running on OSX Lion, and I can't find the way to change the shortcut cmd+w...
I need those keys for another application without quiting it every now and then, and I can't add or modify any of those controls. Can somebody help me with this?

Thank you for the clarification. Customizing the folder icon,
open your picture you want on the folder with Preview. command -A will select all the picture, command- C will copy.
Open the info pane of the folder without opening the folder, highlite the icon in upper left of the info pane (command- i to open info pane,)  and command -v will paste it.
Not all formats work if my memory serves me.  PNG files ( like a screen shot) certainly do.

  • Maximising windows and important Keyboard Shortcuts in Mountain Lion

Hi - just two questions related to the behaviour of Mac OS X Mountain Lion.
When you minimise a window in Mac OS X, it shrinks down and sits next to the trash. When you want to access it again, you simply click on it and it is maximised again. Can anyone explain to me why, when I have multiple windows open and one minimised, Mac OS X does not always present me with the minimised window when I click on it in the dock? It flicks to another window. This mainly happens when I'm using Word for Mac. To clarify, say I have documents A, B and C open. A and B are both maximised with A at the front and C is minimised. When I click on C to maximise it, there is a short delay and suddenly B appears at the front. So OS X doesn't even take me back to the document I was just viewing, but the random document that just happened to be open in the background. Frustrating enough when I only have three documents open - I'm often using many more and the problem is even more noticeable.
Another frustration I have is not being able to browse quickly between document windows. Windows has a convenient Ctrl+Tab function that allows you to flick between all open windows. OS X has a poor imitation which only allows switching between windows of different applications. If I want to switch between windows of the same application, Cmd+Tab will not allow me to do this. Is there another keyboard shortcut in Mac OS X that will? In previous versions of OS X, I resigned myself to using expose to account for the lack of this function, but now with mission control, all windows are clumped together according to their application - a nice organisational idea in theory perhaps, but rendering mission control completely useless for the functions which expose provided. What am I meant to do if I just happen to want to access the seventh document window that I have open? Mission control shows me barely a sliver of the window's border and no detail of the content whatsoever.
Are there solutions to these problems that inhibit workflow so badly? Are there a whole range of window-switching functions which I simply do not know of? Surely such awkwardness was not what mac is aiming for when designing Moutain Lion.
    Any advice much appreciated.

You can choose to not minimize windows into the app in the Dock System prefs. That will leave it in the Dock as a separate window.
You can cycle between application windows using cmd-`, however they don't cycle to minimized windows.
On a US keyboard, that key is right above the tab key. It is in various other places on other keyboard layouts.
You can change the shortcut in the Keyboard & Text Input section of Keyboard Shortcuts (Keyboard System Prefs). I believe you used to be able to cycle through Minimized windows, but someone decided you minimized them to get them out of the way and removed them from the cycling.
About the only way is to activate Application Exposé and then arrow down to the minimized windows.
When a window is highlighted, you can hit the space bar to "Qucicklook" the window. The Arrow keys will then cycle between minimized windows.

  • Difficulty remapping keyboard shortcuts on OSX

Pretty obscure problem here. I am trying to use the little-known OSX built-in method of remapping keyboard shortcuts (System Preferences>Keyboard>Keyboard Shortcuts>Application Shortcuts) to customize things, specifically to add a shortcut to access the add-ons menu. I did this a few weeks ago and I see my shortcut next to the menu item, but triggering the shortcut never opens it up. I see the Tools menu flash, but nothing ever really happens.
As far as I know, the problem isn't exclusive to the Add-ons item. I have also noticed this same problem with Thunderbird. It worked with the old Unsanity Haxie, Menu Master, but this is not compatible with 10.6. (I am running 10.6.4)
I'm guessing that this is some kind of underlying problem with the Mac version of both products. Any help or referral to where I can report this is appreciated.

I'm getting this problem with the PasswordMaker plugin. I had the problem before attempting to remap keys. I remapped keys with the suggested keyconfig extension in an attempt to solve the problem, but no dice.
    FF version 3.6.3
    OSX version 10.6.6
Other items in the Tools menu work. PasswordMaker fails with the problem described above:
'but triggering the shortcut never opens it up. I see the Tools menu flash, but nothing ever really happens. '
The extension works on all other OSes I have tried (Win XP, Win 7 and Linux Ubuntu.).
I've seen this behaviour before when a modal task in Photoshop (text editing) was blocking shortcuts.
    Any ideas?

  • Keyboard shortcuts with Mountain Lion?

You know how with iPad and iPhone there are keyboard shortcuts? i.e.: you can type I'll be right with you and make the shortcut "BRB" - Can you do that with mountain lion? Would be very convenient

Go to System Preferences > Language & Text > Text
Use the + button in the lower left to add as many text substitution associations as you need.
Comment - it would be well to use Replace entries using combinations that would not otherwise appear in normal typing.

  • Does anyone know a KEYBOARD SHORTCUT to add a COMMENT to a cell?

I've looked through the HELP shortcuts and the ADD COMMENTS section of HELP. Have not found a way to easily keyboard a comment into a cell.

Applying that, you may link your own shortcut to the menu item whose name is "Comment" (not "Insert Comment").
It's not described in Numbers Help or in Numbers User Guide because it's not a feature of the application but a feature of the operating system.

  • Creating shortcut in OSX Lion Mountain isn't workingHi

    Hi
I went to system prefrences and created an application shortcut for system prefrences but whatever kind of shortcut i assign
to it it doesnt work .. i choosed F3 Command + ` and many others so what Im doing wrong ?
    Regards

What specific shortcut is it? Sometimes there are simple issues like the use of three dots "..." versus an ellipsis symbol (which is a single-character representation of three dots) used as trailing characters in a menu command, so if you use three dots when the command contains an ellipsis (or vice versa), then the assigned hotkey will fail.
There at times may be other punctuation nuances that prevents the character from working.
Lastly, if the chosen hotkey is already in use by the application (even in a hidden manner), then it may not work. Try using a hotkey with all the modifier keys (Shift-Control-Option-Command) to ensure uniqueness in the hotkey you choose, at least to test the situation.
Finally, sometimes hotkeys simply do not work. Even though a command may appear to be assignable, it may simply not work with Apple's hotkey assignments, especially if others seem to work when the desired one does not.

  • Create keyboard shortcuts

I'm trying to create a keyboard shortcut to advance through safari tabs, just like I advance through programs using command tab. I went to system preferences, keyboard shortcuts. The + is no longer there to add shortcuts. Is there a different way to add keyboard shortcuts in mountain lion?

If you have a trackpad or Magic Mouse, consider getting BetterTouchTool, which will give you the ability to create a ton of gestures, such as next tab in safari.
BetterTouchTool will also allow you to create hotkey keyboard shortcuts.

  • Keyboard shortcut to switch Spotify to full screen

Hi, there's a custom keyboard shortcut in OSX which lets you switch apps to full screen. It doesn't work with all apps but I think it would be nice if Spotify would make this functional in their Mac app.  Looking forward for this to work.

    Hey there!
You should sumbit this as an idea (or a bug, if this is supposed to work), instead of the Help section.
    Good luck with this!

  • Keyboard Shortcut for comments

I have a question and something to share.
Turns out it's pretty easy to add a keyboard shortcut for
adding ColdFusion comments (mostly so that you don't have to click
on the comment dropdown and select the ColdFusion one, that's 2
clicks). You can add a keyboard shortcut to that Insert Comment
command. But by default it inserts HTML comments. So if you want it
to do something different you can modify this file: C:\Program
    Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver
    CS4\configuration\Objects\Text\Comment.js
The bad news is, I can't find a way to add a shortcut to
Remove Comment. Does anyone know how to do that?

    Jon
Not that I know of but you can make your own keyboard shortcuts for anything that is in a menu somewhere:
+System Preferences > Hardware > Keyboard & Mouse > Keyboard Shortcuts > Application Keyboard Shortcuts > All Applications > click the little plus sign under the window > Application: > Other > browse to Applications/iWork/Pages > Menu Title > Show Comments (type exactly including U&lc) > hit cmd shift c (or whatever you want)+
Since the shortcut works on the literal text, it will not toggle on and off. You will have to have another shortcut for +Hide Comments.+

  • FAQ: How do I trim in the Timeline using keyboard shortcuts in Premiere Pro CS6 and CC?

You can now trim with a lot more keyboard shortcuts in the Timeline in Premiere Pro CS6 and CC. See this article for details: Timeline trimming using keyboard shortcuts in Premiere Pro CS6.

I'm relieved (if a little frustrated!) that others have the same issues, it makes me feel at least it's not just me! :-)
I am running Windows 7 64 bit Intel quad core processor 8Gb RAM if that helps Jim?
Another quick test shows I have exactly the same issues as shooternz and Ann Bens above at 7 & 8 respectively. An audio only or audio/video clip from Bin to SM and I can add markers on the fly perfectly. Audio/video from the timeline to SM works just the same. Audio only from the timeline will not work however.
I tried linking a video clip to my audio clip to see if that would allow me to add markers then unlink and remove the video... but when I opened that in SM the add marker button was greyed out and the keyboard shortcut (M) didn't work either!
    Curiouser and curiouser...
