Export Product in SLD

Hi,
I have an issue with exporting a Product from the XI SLD. According to SAP documentation I have to select the product and push the Export button. Afterwards I should be able to download the file to a local directory. Instead I get the following message when I press the export button: 'D:\usr\sap\XII\DVEBMGS25\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\com.sap.lcr\servlet_jsp\sld\root\admin\download\export_20060622_135641.zip (The system cannot find the path specified)'
Can someone tell me what the issue could be?

ask someone from your basis team
to check if folder:
DVEBMGS25\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\com.sap.lcr\servlet_jsp\sld\root\admin\download\
exists on your XI server

Export Software Component only without Product in SLD ?

Hi,
Can I just export software component only from SLD without product included in the zip file ?
Because currently either you export from product or software component both will be export all the component product and software component.

I cannot export product and software component separately.
whenever i click button export either for product or software component both including related product or software component.
Product :
--> click export button (Hint : Export this product including all the software component).
Software Component.
--> click export button (Hint : Export this component, including the associated product and all other software component version for this product).

Modify product in SLD

I'm modifying a product in SLD (they have the same names but different ID) is it still possible to add/modify the business system's product.

Hi,
One product can have 1 to n SWC but 1 software will only have one product. So when SWC is created it is based on product name and i don't think you can add more product in existing SWC.
what is the req. to add product in existing SWC?

Howto export and import SLD data to different SLD's

I have a landcape with 4 SLD's. A central SLD within Solution Manager and 3 SLD's for resp. XI dev,qas,prd.
The central SLD is version 7.0 and the XI versions are 2.2. (model versions are the same, CR are different -> XI SAP_CR 2.18 -> Solman SAP_CR 2.0)
The idea is that all changes in Bussiness (including new products and software components) and Technical Systems take place in the Solution Manager. After a change we make an export and import it into XI dev, qas and so on.
However....
When adding, for example, an exsisting product to a technical system, export it on Solman and import it into XI dev, all entries dissapear(sapms/host/clients).
We filled Solman with a full export of XI development and that worked fine.
Does anybody has an idea about actions to be taken?

How to make the new products on SLD to show on the PI?

We have a PI7.0 connected to a remote centralized SLD.
Whenever there is a new product on the SLD , we want to have it show up at the PI7.0.
We do not know how to make it happen.
What we know is (perhaps) once a new product is installed on the PI, SE70 will inform SLD about this.

Hi Ashley,
As you are mentioning that SLD has been connected to PI7.0 No special mechanism is requred to access products .Every thing that is created in SLD will be in synchronised automaticaly and you will be able to see them in IR(ex.Import ing sofware compnent from SLd).

Renaming a Product in SLD

Hi All,
I have two products in the SLD, Product1 and Product2, Product1 has SW1 and SW2. All the development is done in the SoftwareComponents of Product1. I need to get the same with Product2, i.e something like assign SW1 and SW2 of Product1 to Product2. Is there a way to achieve this without recreating the IR objects.
The actual requirement is to RENAME Product1 to Product2. Is there a way to achieve this or could you help with the solution suggetsted above. We are using PI 7.0

Hi Sarvesh,
using the configurator in the Integration Directory will save some time. After reimporting the Business System you let the configurator reconfigure receiver determinates, interface determinations and so on.

Bug in exporting Products list

Hi,
I use this feature all the time and today when I go to Products - Export and open the file it comes up one cell with
"Special Custom Order" in it - no products or anything else. (image attached).
Has anyone else had this issue?
There's no way to email support + no point in saying my website as it's not a front end issue - so I'm lost as what to do

P.S I've tried both options - and both have this error.
Export Options
Export All Records - This option will export all records up to 10000 records. To export the rest of the records please use partial export and specify start and end position (e.g. to export the next 10000 records, use: Start Position 10000 - End Position 19999).
Partial Export - This option will allow you to export only a sub-set of records. You need to specify first and last record. Record counting starts from 0 (e.g. to export the first 500 records, you will have to enter: Start Position 0 - End Position 499).

Error exporting BS in SLD

Hi,
We are trying to Export SAP AS ABAP Business system and than import again in another SLD.
While exporting, the browser hangs and time out error comes. Does someone what is going wrong?
This system is ECC system register through RZ70 whcih automatically creates Technical system We are on PI 7.1

Thanks for reply. We have already resister technical system in Central SLD via RZ70.
We have also created Business System in Central SLD.
Now we want to export this Technical system & BS in Local SLD . While doing export of BS, the browser hangs and
time out error occurs. Technical system got exported and imported successfully.
We hvae also done the cache refresh. Pls advice what could be the issue.

User has no permissions / error exporting technical system SLD

Hello everybody,
after not using the export function more than one year, i now wanted to export a technical system from the sld of our XI system (WebAS 7.00 Servicepack 14.4). When I try to export the system I get the following message:
User has no permissions. Cannot connect (check stacktrace for details), (service=com.sap.tms)
Does anyone have the same problems? I have all the group and roles:
SAP_SLD_GUEST-> LcrUser
SAP_SLD_DEVELOPER -> LcrInstanceWriterNR
SAP_SLD_CONFIGURATOR-> LcrInstanceWriterLD and LcrInstanceWriterNR
SAP_SLD_ORGANIZER ->LcrInstanceWriterAll
SAP_SLD_ADMINISTRATOR ->LcrAdministrator
SAP_SLD_DATA_SUPPLIER ->DataSupplierLD
SAP_SLD_SUPPORT ->LcrSupport
Any ideas?

can anyone tell me which module in need to include in startSQLRepository -m ---------? for export productCatalog.

These are steps you need to follow
1. Identify the top level module in your ear ( this is to export all the customizations that you would have done for the catalog) and use it , do the export on the production server.
2. Point your JTDataSource to FAKEXA with the user name password and the driver url for the database user where the catalog resides
3. Make sure that the user you are using has all the necessary rights on the underlying tables , you should be able to display the tables and synonyms and triggers using that user by logging in on your database server which you are using.

Will MapBuilder ever export styles to SLD?

Hi there,
I was reading James' Fee blog at
http://www.spatiallyadjusted.com/2009/04/21/sharing-cartography/
and looking at various technologies for storing cartographic symbology and the thought occurred to me that it would be nifty if MapBuilder exported styles as OGC SLD. Currently it just seems to dump out the records as a pipe-delimited table.
Does anyone know if SLD is on the table? I know that mapviewer styles are basically SVG style snippets, so its already an open specification. It probably would not be an enormous task to wrestle these into SLD.
Just wondering what other folks have heard or are thinking.

E-Fillling SWC is not having Product in SLD

We are doing scenario on E-Filling in XI and we have imported data from Service market place and directly imported in IR. But in SLD E-Filling SWC is already exists but it doesn't have assigned any product. We tried to assign to new product but we are not able to assign it. Pleas help us to solve this......

If product is not required, How can I assign Technical system/business sytem to SWCV? I am not seeing any Operational mapping through input help while I am doing Interface Determination. It is critical issue for me now. In ID, I am not seeing any Sender Interface which is related to HR system in ID after opend Business system.

Export production sales order to test

I'm wondering if there's a way to export a sales order from a production environment and import into a test environment. This would be used for troubleshooting purposes to deal with order issues without disrupting any production data.
We take periodic backups of our production environment to use as test environments but of course the issues you have with sales orders are the ones that are never in a test instance due to timing. To be able to export an order and import it into a test instance would save the need for someone to manually recreate the order, manually create inventory for it, manually shipment report it, etc.
I found one Metalink article about exporting it to a 3rd party environment (NOTE: 344695.1) using the oe_order_pub.get_order API's and custom PL/SQL scripts, but I'm hoping that an Oracle EBS-to-Oracle EBS move would potentially have a better/easier solution.

you can do it using the load runner. Create the load runner scripts and extract the data from your prod instance and run the scripts in dev instance, that creates the complete new set of orders with your production data. Then you can complete the order cycle process.
