Export Progress stuck on "initializing"!!!!!!

I just got my video iPod and downloaded Quicktime Pro so I could "easily" export my videos into iPod format.
Well I have waited all day and the export progress box still says "Initializing..."
Anyone know a fix for this or what I'm doing wrong?
Also, if anyone has a number or e-mail address for customer support let me know because I am very upset that I dropped $30 for a program that's not working.

Why not try a ten minute "cut" from your file and time that process. You'll get a good idea of how long your file will take to convert.
The QuickTime export dialogs seem to not properly update when a huge file is processing.
The "Movie to iPod" is the most complex export you'll probably make and changes found in the latest release now use a 640X480 display size which will drastically increase the time of encoding.
Since I don't own an iPod I've never used those export settings. And each computer will take longer or shorter time based on its hardware and processor.

Export Progress window seems to be stuck on Initializing...

I am trying to encode to h264 video with Type 2 DV .avi rendered in VT4.5 with Quicktime 7 pro.
I chose the movie to ipod setting in the export menu and hit ok 21 hours ago...
The Export progress bar is still at the Initializing... stage with no apparent progress.
The project is 19.5 GB when rendered to Type 2 DV.avi.
Is this normal? Does anyone know how long QuickTime 7 pro usually takes to encode? I am hesitant to cancel the process since I have so much time invested.

Can't Render Video Hangs on the Initializing Video Export Progress bar

When rendering a video I never get past the Initializing Video Export Progress bar.
Running windows 8 64bit, Photoshop CC.
I have Windows CS4, Lightroom 4, LIghtroom 5 and Premier Elements installed. I have no problem exporting video from lightroom or Premier Elements

I am trying to process a move clip of various types. I don’t even get to the dialogue that presents the parameter entry. I’ve tried .mp4,mts,3gp,f4v & m2t. I don't even have any changes applied to the clip.

What happened prior to this issue? (update, paper jam, changed toner)
I would do a hard reset if you haven't tried this method.
Leave the printer on and unplug the power cable from the printer and wall outlet for 60 seconds.
Then reconnect the power cable to the printer and wall outlet rather than a surge protector.
This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.

FCIP interface stuck at initializing on 9216i v2.1a (vsan segmented)

Following the instructions in both the config guide and troubleshooting guide to configure the FCIP profile and interface, my fcip2 interface status is stuck at initializing. Looking in FM events tab, I can see that the 9216i's are cycling between these states: vsan merged; N_Port unmanageble; vsan segmented and N_Port Up. show fcdom domainlist on the higher priority switch shows it flip-flopping between [local] and principal] [local] states. Using show zoneset active, I can see the zoneset being transfered over to the 2nd switch. Despite all this, the fcip interface does not stay up. Thanks for helping.

Just going from your info, it sounds like the interface comes up for a little bit of time. More than likely then, the issue is MTU. You have an MTU configured larger than somewhere in the network can handle it. If you get the show log output and it shows alot of TCP retransmissions, this is the problem.

Export progress bar shows, but no SWF appears

i've been through tech support and about 100 different sites with this issue but nothing seems to help. I'm using windows Vista 64 bit (work machine, not personal) with Adobe CS5 production premium. I have this training I created in flash and it used to export just fine. I was able to test and everything, but lately, it stopped doing that. I hit CTRL+enter, and it won't give me a SWF file. I hit debug it says it can't find the swf. I looked in the folder where everything is for the training, and sure enough, there is no SWF file there. I tried hitting CTRL + enter and watching the folder. The SWF file appears while the export progress bar is going, but the second the bar is done, the file vanishes. For a while, if I went into File and hit Export Movie, it worked, but even that's stopped working. Can anyone help me figure this out?
FYI - I put the file on my Mac and it works fine there. I can export, make changes, debug, anything I like. It's just on my windows work machine.

Export progress initialising

I have just upgraded to QT Pro for the purpose of exporting .avi video to my iPod. Whenever I start the export, it opens a a progress box and then appears to do nothing else. The progress bar remains blank and the text underneath says 'initialising'. I've left it running for several hours, and tried various file sizes, but nothing seems to work. Can someone please give me a clue what to do next, or advise on what the problem might be....

Requests stuck in 'Initialized' and 'Received' status

Hello.
I perceiving that in my environment, the Requests, usually "Revoke and Disable" are stucked either "Initialized" or "Received" status. I do not know why.
But, I saw that sometimes in the Resource of the User, the Resouce is Rrovisioning or Waiting.
First question.
If the Resource of the User is different of "enable or provisioned" status, this could interfering on the Request of Disabled or Revoke?
Second question.
How can I solve the problems of the "stuck requests"?

Request status itself in OIM is not consistent. For the answer , you need to go through each step and record what your status is to know what the outcome is going to be. So, you should get different status's if you do more than into one task and also have actual approval tasks involved.

MFP M177fw stuck on initializing

My printer stucks on initializing. Tried to cut the power off and start it again. Doesn't work. The toner carousel doesn't rotate either. What should i do?!

Hi , I read your post and see that the new printer is stuck initializing. I will certainly do my best to help you.
Disconnect the USB/Network/FAX and power the printer on Standalone. Check and remove any packaging material inside the printer and toner. Setting Up the Printer Hardware for HP Color LaserJet Pro M177fw MFP Printers. Do a hard reset to see if that will resolve the issue.
Leave the printer on and unplug the power cable from the printer and wall outlet for 60 seconds.
Then reconnect the power cable to the printer and wall outlet rather than a surge protector.
This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation. If the issue persists, perform a power drain by disconnecting the power cord from the back of the printer and keeping the power button pressed for 30 seconds and in case of a power switch keep the switch in ON position for 30 seconds before reconnecting the power chord. Try and update the printer's firmware. HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M177fw. Please check your private messages for additional steps to try.

You should be importing all pics taken with the iphone to your computer regularly as you would with any digital camera, particularly before any update or restore.
You should also be syncing your contacts to your computer regularly. They hsould be in whatever program/service that you have selected to sync.
If you have failed to do this, then they are very likely gone.
You can try restoring from backup.

Burn In Progress stuck at 5%

I am recently installed Premiere Elements 9 and I have been unable to burn a dvd that I have edited. The project gets stuck once it begins the burning process and appears to lock up at 5%. The video is only 10 minutes long and has only three scene markers in it.
Also, I am able to burn dvds otherwise.
The computer I am using has 4 GB of RAM, 64-bit processor at 2.53 GHz, 640 GB of Hard Drive space, and uses a Win 7 O/S.
Are there any settings causing this software to lock up when it attempts to burn? I have seen other posts related to this but they don't seem to describe a scenario similar to mine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I found the Black Video clip. I hardly ever use the New Items (even in the older versions of PE) so it took me awhile to remember where they were at.
Anyway, the struggle continues ...
Test #4-
I took my project and added black video in any blank spots in the timeline ensuring that there is video of some kind everywhere, and made sure the rendering line was a steady green across the project without any gaps (in previous versions of PE this didn’t matter).
Burn to Folder-stuck at 2%
Burn to DVD-stuck at 5%
In both cases it locks up the application and I have to close and re-open PE9

I then took my project and removed all the Fade In Video and Fade Out Video edits on each of the clips.

The following shows the Burn In Progress stuck at 2% and I usually have to force it to shut down;
This is the timeline as it stands now for my project. Any other suggestions on what could be causing the hang up when I attempt to Burn to DVD and Burn to Folder?

Yes we are. I was able to talk to Adobe Support and they gave me ports and some URL to provide exception in the firewall. It worked and I was able to install it also. Thank you!

Satellite A210/A215 recovery stuck on "Initializing the Partition"

Problem: Stuck on "Initializing the Partition"
A few months ago, my Satellite A210/A215 suddenly wouldn't start Windows, and after a few tries of restarting, said that there was no operating system. I'm currently in the process of trying to perform a full system recovery; however, the recovery seems to have stopped on "Initializing the Partition." Now, as the recovery process had been moving quite slow before anyway, I allowed the computer to sit over night. This morning, the computer is still on "Initializing the Partition". Any suggestions would be great!

Are you using the recovery partition or recovery discs?
For now, I'd suggest giving up on that trial and trying again. You might as well give it a few tries even if the second one doesn't take! If you try a few times and it still won't go, it sounds like the hard drive itself might be bad.
