Export queue broken in 1.3

Because of our filing system and workflow, I am used to breaking up a big shoot into multiple folders. I then 'develop' each folder, and for performance reasons, wait until the evening and then queue up all the images for export to JPEG.
It worked fine in LR1.2, but is broken in LR1.3.
Adding multiple export streams to the queue makes the whole export process lockup, with an "unable to export" message for each export stream.
So I have to queue up each folder individually, maybe a max of 2 folders at a time, and wait around before I can add another folder to the queue.
All done locally, Windows XP.
I would not recommend to anybody thatthey 'upgrade' to LR1.3 unless they have to for camera support.

Thanks for offering some troubleshooting advise. I do have a standard, unaltered account. I rebooted and logged into that account and had the exact same results. So this is system wide.
Just for kicks I tried the similar feature in IE and those modified clicks are still working so this seems to be a Safari specific problem, not a keyboard or mouse problem.

Batch Export Stills Broken in FCP5?

In FCPHD you used to be able to batch export stills by setting markers in your clip
1) Choose a clip, put in markers where you want to export
2) open the export queue window (window -> export queue)
3) drag the markers into the queue window
4) select the batch folder in the queue window, and change the settings to your specs.
5) export
I can't seem to get this to work now - it just makes the markers subclips in the queue even when I set it to export stills it just gives me a white still.
Does this no longer work in FCP5 or am I forgetting something?

Thought I'd give this another try now that everybody's back from holiday.
Can anybody confirm that you can't export stills this way from FCP5 or that you can from FCP4.5?

Aperture 3 Export Watermarks Broken?

I've upgraded to Aperture 3 and I have re-added the watermarks that I used to use under Aperture 2 to the export presets. The watermarks that I have built are sized to fit into the lower right corner (i.e., 128 x 128 for a 2048 x 2048 export). When using those watermarks, they appear to be scaled up to the size of the photo (instead of just overlaid in the lower right 128 x 128 pixels). If I turn on "Scale watermark, the watermark comes out smaller but still about double size (i.e., about 256 x 256).
Is anyone else having this problem? Should I be creating a 2048 x 2048 watermark to get the scaling correct? Is export watermarking broken in Aperture 3?

yes it definitely seems broken. i have a PSD file that is my watermark with just the text "(c) scott nichol * www.silverystars.com" and its about 500 pixels wide. when i export for the web its usually an 800-1000 pixel wide image and the water mark is pinned to the lower right or left hand corers. if i leave "scaling" off, that 500-pixel wide watermark image is stretched across the entire bottom of the image. if i turn scaling on, its scaled down to an almost micro text size that's barely readable. and it doesn't matter how wide i make the image, it gets scaled down to the same size.
my work-around for now is to keep the text in the PSD document the same size and extend the canvas so there's about 700 pixels of padding to the left of the text. now if i leave scaling off it fits that 1200-pixel wide image into the bottom of the image. and since the exports are only 800-1000 pixels wide, the watermark is about as big as it was before.
clearly this is a bug and this can work for me in the short term.

Save Export Queue Settings

I have recently started doing some batch exports using the Export Queue in Final Cut, so I set up 4 bins for different file types and do an export and everything works great.. But is there a way to save those settings that I created... Everytime I exit I lose all of those settings and have to redo all of them the next time I want to export.
Am I missing something..
Any help would be great.

Can't export (queue) out of ppro into adobe media encoder after update

i just updated everything (cuda, nvidia, os 10.8.2, 6.0.3) and now i can't export from ppro into adobe media encoder. as soon as i export out with any preset across multiple projects and hit play, i get the sheep sound almost immediately. before this gets put in the AME discussion queue consider that AME works fine either when importing an AE composition etc. so it seems to be premiere related. thanks!

Actually I'd recommend uinstalling all the adobe software on your PC if possible. Because truthfully if you have a decently fast internet connection or you have the installer for the suite on your system it really doesn't take that long to do a complete install. Plus when you do a complete install it's much more likely to fix the issue plus then you can use the Adobe CS cleaner tool which makes your odds for success much higher so that is what I'd recommend. If you follow the instructions from this link everything will go smoothly.

I know in the past I have fallen into the trap of troubleshooting something for a few days, only to end up uninstalling then using the adobe CS cleaner tool, then reinstalling and then BAM everything was now fixed lol...
Then I always ended up feeling silly for spending so much time on it instead of just doing a fresh install. Although I had no way of knowing that to begin with unfortunately. Hindsight is 20/20 most of the time.
However you can technically try uninstalling Premiere by itself if you want to try that first. If my memory serves me correctly when you uninstall Premiere it will uninstall Encore and AME as well.

Export Function Broken

I have just upgraded to Garage Band 10.0.1 and am using System 10.9.1 on a MacBook 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.
I was able to export a song to disk once. Then I found I needed to make a change. I went back into the file to make the change, saved it and tried to export the song again. Nothing has worked.
I've tried:
-Changing the file name
-Changing the export to location
-Changing the export format
-To Disk versus to iTunes
-Closed Garage Band and reopened
-Rebooted the computer
Can't think of what else to try.

Export command broken

I select one or more photos from my library. select "share">"export...". a window pops up from which i can choose various types of export. i choose "file export". i go with the default options (format:original, size:full size, name:use filename) then i hit the "export" button.
my understanding is that at this point, i should get a file dialog where i can select the destination for exporting the files. but i don't. no file dialog appears. the "export" button turns from blue to white when i click it, but other than that, nothing happens - the export dialog just stays there until i hit cancel.
it doesn't seem to matter whether i've selected one image or a group. it doesn't seem to matter what file export options (size, file format, naming conventions, etc.) i choose. the result is the same.
I have noticed that the problem occurs when i select "file export" or "quicktime" tabs from the export dialog. if i select "web page", then the problem does not seem to occur, instead a file dialog comes up, as it should.
i'm sure that this used to work.
anyone have any suggestions/ideas? should i try re-installing iphoto? and how does one do that, anyway?

I've never used flicker, however this suggests a possible related cause...
I use "missing sync" for my treo (palm) phone. missing sync adds an extra tab to the export dialog for exporting photos to the treo. so that could be the cause.
it also appears that some version of roxio toast that i installed previously added a "toast" tab to the export dialog. so that's another possible cause of the problem. i will attempt to re-install and see if that cleans things up.
alternatively, does anyone know where "plugins" for iphoto like the ones mentioned above get stored? perhaps i can just remove them.

Quicktime export settings broken after 10.4.11 update

after applying the 10.4.11 update (Intel) my export settings dialog fails to launch in quicktime.
I goto export -> options -> settings and get nothing
here's my terminal output:

I've searched all apple.com forum posts and found no one with this issue, will keep looking tho. . .
any help would be greatly appreciated. . .

Play Queue Broken

Since the last Spotify update, the play queue has become far worse, which has revealed to me even more problems with it. 1) Why can't you delete songs from the play queue? If I play an artist, what's the chances I'd want to listen to 100% of their songs, remixes, and live stuff? 2) Why can't you clear a play queue? Seriously, even playing a different album doesn't clear the queue - it'll play one song and then revert back to the original queue. So it's a 100% useless program now. 3) Why does the shuffle play the same 10 songs over and over and over (sometimes playing the same song several times in a row) when an artist has hundreds to choose from? Trying to resolve my play queue issues I realised I'd never even heard half the songs from a band I'd been listening to non-stop for 3 days. I'm going to be cancelling my membership. Spotify is totally useless in its current form.

Hello there and welcome to the community,
On new version :
1 - When you start, let's say a playlist, the Play queue is separated in 2 sections : Current Track - Next Tracks (ready to play in the order shown)
2 - If you want listen in priority another song from the next songs than the one ready : click right on the title and select : Add to queue
3 - Now the play queue will show 3 sections : Current Track - Queued Tracks - Next Tracks (all the tracks in the section Queued tracks will have priority to play)
4 - At anytime you can add a song in the section Queued Tracks from anywhere else (another, playlist, an album..) just with a right click on title and Add to queue.
5 - At anytime you can remove a song or a block of song from the section Queued Tracks (right click and Remove from queue)
Note : You can't remove a song from the section Next Songs (your original choice).
If you start to play another playlist. The queued songs will keep in queue. But the songs in section Next Songs will be replaced by the new playlist as long as you don't Add to queue other songs.

Movie output after Export is Broken (ever in all Formats)

nach dem Normalem Exportiren (cmd, E) ist erstmal alles ok
wenn ich das Video abspiele läuft erst alles glatt und so ca. nach 20 sec. kommt ein leicht verzerrtes Standbild und dann nach einer Minute wird alles Grün ich habe das in alles Export Szenerien durch probiert nichts geht.. alles bleibt gleich das hat mich 2 Tage Ränder und Export Zeit gekostet das Problem ist das Video muss morgen beim Kunden sein und ich wusste nicht an wen ich mich so schnell noch wenden konnte.

Hey I have a problem with Final Cut Pro 7 after the normal, Export (cmd, e) is all for now ok when I play the video until everything runs smoothly and so after about 20 seconds is a slightly distorted statue and then after a minute Green is all I have triedeverything to export scenes by anything goes .. everything remains the same that I wastwo days time cost margins and exporting the problem is the video must be at the customer tomorrow and I did not know to whom I could turn so fast yet.

Latest version of Premiere crashes when exporting media to Queue

The above are latest versions as of this morning. When will this be fixed? I cannot rely on this feature

Thanks for the suggestion - I will give that a try. This is on Mac OS X Yosemite BTW. I am now exporting via PP which always seems reliable but takes PP out of action for several hours while it exports, which is the main motivation to get it working properly with AME.

Can Premiere CS6 send exports to Media Encoder CC?

Or for that matter, how much video file interchangability and program interfacing is there between all the CS6's and the CC's?

Let's see if i have this correect. I cannot send to ME cc using PP cs6's export queue button, but I can call up the PP sequence from ME. How is that done?

Premiere Pro freezes after exporting with Media Encoder

So I'm running the latest version of CC.
Mac Pro, OSX 10.9.2, 8-Core Xeon, 24GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 5870 1GB
I've got a very simple and straight forward timeline. After sending "Exporting Media" via queue to Media Encoder, everything exports fine. But after returning to Premiere, it has become impossibly slow--practically frozen. No crash, no error message, just takes about 60 seconds for any clicks to register. I click save project, and the saving progress bar does not visibly progress, yet it seems to actually successfully save the project, because closing and launching premiere, the file is saved up-to-date just fine.
So for the past few days, I've been saving --> export/queue timeline --> quit premiere --> allow queue to complete --> then relaunch premiere... Of course, this is only a temporary work around.
Now, if I "Export" the media only without queueing in Encoder, it does fine and premiere remains stable and normal.
Ideas?

Batch Export Filename Errors

When doing a batch export I receive a message:
"Batch Export Filename Error
The output filename for this item already exists for another item in the export queue.
To continue the export, enter a new base output filename below and select ok."
I then have to assign some random file name for each or the default mattes and titles in my timeline that are all named “color,” "Title 3D." So I am naming them “color1” “color2” etc. I just went through naming a ton of them and now it is asking me the same questions again!
How can I avoid all of this?

I have 4 tracks in the timeline:
V4: Title 3D
V3: Color (it is a black matte)
V2: Video clip
A3: audio
A4: audio
The video is cut into clips and I have copied-and-pasted many instances of the title and color clips so that it continuously plays during the duration of all of the video.
I did a select all of the timeline and dragged everything to a new bin and did a batch export.
Should I be doing this another way???? It just keeps asking me to rename the filenames over and over again and never gets anywhere.

Can you send/export a still frame from FCP as a picture to the desktop? Doesn't matter if it is a .jpeg, .tiff, . bitmap

serach the forum for any of the hundreds of posts detailing this process -
my personal favorite is shift-N, apple-9, type name, drag to bin, batch export.
The best thing about the batch export queue is you can set up a batch with the file format and destination folder and then keep adding new clips/stills to export.
