Export the whole project to external harddisk

Due to the limit of SSD storage in Macbook Pro , I want to export the whole project together with source files, rendered files, title, music ... to external harddisk for storage, and incase want to use it back, that I can imported into the Final Cut Pro

How can I export a group email address to a .csv file. I can export the whole address book but it looses the group listings.

I have an address book in Thunderbird and want to export one group listing to a .csv file. I couldn't find a way of exporting one group so exported the whole address book then opened the .csv file and was going to remove the all addresses except the group but the group name was not in the file.

Open Address Book, select the mailing list in the left pane, then Tools/Export, select csv (comma separated) format, name the file, click Save.

First the link is a tutorial for iMovie on a Mac. I'm using iMovie on iPad so the steps are inapplicable.
Second it is only possible for me to manipulate the end part of the sound clip to whichever duration I want. But I can't do the same with the 'beginning' of the sound clip.
I simply want to place some photos in the beginning of my video with no sound in the background then after like 2 secs I want to start the music clip. For some reason that is not possible! Cause every time I drop the music clip unto my project timeline it automatically place it self along with the first frame in the project! And consequently the photos and music are forced to start together.
Hope I'm making sense...

Sounds like an activation issue. Quite Premiere Pro. Sign out of Creative Cloud. Restart Premiere Pro. Sign back in: http://bit.ly/CC-sign-out

Two months of Premiere Pro - two major Errors that stopped the whole project

I have switched from FCP - and I am quite dissappointed.
Within two months I have experienced two major errors that stopped the whole project. Something like that never happened to me in 15 years of AVID an FCP. -
1. Err msg. "Project contains sequences that cannot be opened" - No way to open the project at all after two weeks of working on it.
2. Err msg. "A Low-level exception occurred in: Adobe Player" - No way to play back the sequence at all. Had to be finnished in FCP.
Apart from that Premiere keeps loosing Render Files and does not recognize my USB-audio-device.
Can anyone help me (tech support) PLEASE?
Am I the only one with problems like that?
- Thinking about switching to MC7.

You specify "CS6," but do not indicate whether you have patched to the latest. If you haven't please do so.
Any time I hear "crash on launch" (or words to that effect), my first thought is that something in the preferences may be tripping up the app. You can clear the prefs by holding Shift+Option while launching the app--keep the keys pressed until PPRO finishes launching. If you've invested time customizing your prefs and want to be able to revert to them in case they weren't the cause of the problem, then you can manually move or rename them; let us know if you need help finding them.
Other possible culprits, in the order that I recommend proceeding:
If the crash occurs only when you launch directly into a particular project, then naturally that project is most likely the cause.
Drivers, especially for graphics card: update them (on Mac, that means updating OSX)
third party codecs: uninstall them
third party hardware: first update drivers. If that doesn't help, disconnect or disable the hardware

Export a whole project from a computer to another

I believe that I have the same question. The thing on these forums is that there are so many people doing so many different things with so many different setups for just as many different reasons. Gotta be really specific. That being said, I hope that I'm clear enough. My wife has a Windows 7 PC running Premiere Pro CS6. I have a Mac running Premiere CC 2014 on Yosemite 10.10. She started a project with all of the media on her D: drive. She opens her project and goes to export it as an MP4 and the whole computer freezes up about 1/3 into it. We've tried a few things but I wanted to try and find out, is there any way to package up the project, maybe like After Effects does, so that I can easily move the project to my computer and try rendering it there. The folder where she saves all of her media is shared, but when her computer freezes up, the shares are not accessible. We both want to try separately to solve the issue, so, any way to easily package up everything the project needs and copy it to my Mac so that we can work independently on being successful?

Premiere Pro CS6 will not export the full project sequence

I have a project consisting of videos, photos, and audio. The full project is just over 12 minutes long. I can export it out in chunks, but when I try to export 11 or more minutes of it, I'm able to export new projects that are longer, but have less tracks, just fine.

IMovie on iOS 8 crashes whenever I try to export the video project to iTunes

I need to transfer several iMovie projects from iPad to iMac to free lots of disk space.
But whenever I atempt to export an iMovie project to iTunes, the iMovie iOS app crashes.
Is there any other way how to transfer the project file?

Select the pics. Export them to a Folder on the Desktop. Burn that with the Finder.

Export/import whole Project

Hi,
I exported Project from one repository. Now I'd like to import it into the new repository.
I go Designer -> Projects -> Import Project
Dialog box pops up to choose file to be imported. Problem is no files are displayed within folder where the file with project physically exists.
Any advise ?

short manual:
click on 'import project'.
if you want the project ID to be exactly the same as the other one, make sure the 'import type' is set to 'synonym mode INSERT'
click on the magnifying glass at 'file import directory' and locate the correct folder where the exported files are placed
click on 'open'
your exported project should now appear in the 'import project' screen.
select the project
click 'ok'

A time counter for the whole project

Can you tell me is there any way to get the overall project time as a time counter in the playback controls? Or viewed somewhere on Captivate?
I need to know at which time a particular slide is appearing in a video. I can only find time duration per slide or one overall time for the project.

Conventions for the whole project

We have coding conventions for Java language. But is there any conventions (or best practices) defined for a whole Java project. Like store all your source files in "src" folder, store your jar files in "lib" folder, have your binary files named as "all-lower-case.sh" and store them in "project/bin", etc. These may not be the case with every Java project on the planet, but has anyone blogged about these "guidelines"? If you have a tip or two, or if you had come across a blog or a related post regarding this, please do share.

I reversed a section of audio, and now the whole project and all of my backups are ruined. Please help

Okay, so basically I was really happy with the track, it has chopped up vocals all from the same vocal track.
I was just experimenting and reversed a section of audio, but didn't save the changes because i didn't want to save this reverse.
however now i've just opened my project and all of the vocals are messed up and not how they were before - and all of my backups are the same. can someone please help me , i feel like crying . I have no idea what has happened - and is there any way i can get it back to how it was before?

How are they not as before?
I'm not an expert, but as far as I know, when you change an audio clip in Logic you really change the audio file, meaning everywhere else where you have used the same file it will be changed the same way. I'd go for the Audio file list in the Browser and try to find the changed audio file and change it back. Hope it helps!

Is it possible to export process models from BPM to other formats?
For Example: presently we can able to export .vdx (VISIO file) to BPM file .exp
