Export to Branch office & Subsequent Sale
Hi,
I have a requirement that my client has a sales office in Europe. He sends goods to this sales office & prepare export document for that with condition of payment term-180 days.
From this sales office (Europe) he sells goods to direct customer in Europe and receives its payment in bank account in Europe. &
After 180 days he transfers that funds to its Indian bank account and clear all export document with RBI.
Please suggest how we can map this requirement in SAP.

There are many ways you can export data from one server to other .
1. you need to move data from differnt operating system , I mean source data base os - linux , target ant win,aix etc. better use
*db2move databasename export*
2. restore db in rd sever
3. replicaton
4. write export script for all tables in source and export files send into target then write import script.

UmeshI am assuming u are using SD integration for the billing . Therefore, please go to VD02 for the Child Customer profile under the correct sales org,distbn channel, div.
Then under the Partner functions tab set the SP Sold to party as the Child, BP Bill to Party as Parent,PY Payer as Parent and SH Ship to party as Child.
If its only for FI documents config then proceed in FD02 only, else if its integrated then use XD02.
Then under the Company code data in the Account management Tab set the Head office as the Parent . Then all the future postings will have Acct = Parent but Branch = Child.

Link between Branch Accounts and Head Office Account
To link branch accounts to a head office account, you must enter the number of the head office account in the Head office field in the branch account master record. This field is contained in the company code area of the master record.
The head office account can be any vendor account except one-time accounts or branch accounts themselves. Branch accounts and head office accounts must belong to the same company code.
Line Item Display
When you are entering the parameters for line item display, you should note the following: for head office accounts, enter the key 004 in the field Sort key. This instructs the system to display the line items for the head office account sorted by branch. This key is defined in the table for allocation rules.

Correspondence
You can set up your system to cater for written correspondence with vendors a) for the head office, broken down per branch or b) for each branch individually. If you want to create correspondence (such as dunning notices and account statements) for the individual branches instead of the head office, you have to select the Local processing field in the vendor master record of the head office on the Create Customer: Correspondence screen.
You can also define payment methods in the master records of the branches and head offices. For example, if you want to have certain payment methods for particular branches, enter these in the master records of the branches concerned and do not enter any payment method in the head office master record. If you enter payment methods in both head office and branch master records, all payment methods are possible. -
Invoic & GSVERF IDocs with Head & Office Branch office relationship

We have maintained Head office & branch office relationship in vendor master.
Based on this master data set up, all accounting documents are getting posted to Head office account. Currently we are facing the below issue:
We have created purchase order for Branch office vendor (Eg. B) and as required accounting document is getting posted to Head office vendor(Eg. H). We are using Idoc Msg type 'Invoic' for this invoice verificaiton and using Idoc msg type 'GSVERF' to send acknowledgement for that Invoice.In this case, Acknowledgement IDoc has been getting transmitted to Head office vendor (H) and not the Branch vendor (B) who
has originally sent the Invoice.
Kindly let me know whether it is possible to forward acknowledgement vendor to branch account instead of Head office.

Copy functionality of Sales office and sales group
Standard SAP does not allow sales office and sales group information to flow between documents. Say, quotation to order.

The reason for not coping the sales group and sale office from preceding document to subsequent is to avoid the errors in MIS reporting for sales and billing.For example inquiry has received from sales org.A ,then company will send the quotation to A from different sales office and after that company A might be having different sales offices and sales groups in that sales area.Due to this ,again system will expect the entries from user who is creating the order.

Hi All,
I have a small issue, Whenever I am creating a sales order, the sales office and Sales group of Sold-to-party will be copied which is standard functionality. The requirement is to copy the Sales office and sales group of Ship-to-party assigned to the sales order.
According to our design there are more than a single ship-to-party to a sold-to-party and only Ship-to-parties have the sales group and sales office filled and those fields are empty in Sold-to-party.
Pleae let me know, if there's any way.

The call to form routine CUST_SALES_AREA is not required as sales office and sales group of sold-to-party are already correctly filled into VBAK by form routine VBAK_FUELLEN_KUAGV of program SAPFV45K.

unnecessary call to form routine CUST_SALES_AREA of program SAPMV45A.

When you create sales statistics, you can use a sales office as one of the selection criteria. When you print out order confirmations, you can include the address of the sales office.
<b>Procedure</b>
You can assign each customer to a sales office in the customer master record.
<b>Note</b>
Within a sales office you can establish sales groups (for example, departments) with specific sales responsibilities. Each person who works in the sales office can be assigned to a sales group in his or her user master record. Each customer can also be assigned to a particular sales group in the customer master record.
<b>2) Sales Groups</b>

A group of sales people who are responsible for processing sales of certain products or services.
<b>Use</b>

WLAN Controller at HQ and AP's at Branch offices
I have a WLAN controller at HQ and want to put APs at my branch offices, but connected and managed by my controller at HQ. I know that if the WAN goes down, I will lose wireless, etc.
my question is:
Is there anything I should watch out for with this type of setup? I will have separate vlans' for the wireless and data.. will this matter when it hits the MPLS from the branch back to the HQ WLAN controller? I thought maybe the vlan tagging had to stay consistant between AP and WLAN controller?Hybrid Remote Edge Access Point (HREAP) is a mode supportede by 1130 and 1240 series AP's. In the upcoming release of version 4.2, HREAP will also have full support for voice roaming as well. With HREAP, wireless users already authenticated will remain connected in the event of a WAN outage. In addition, v4.2 will support local site authentication for HREAP deployments. If you have an ACS server at the remote site, you can even authenticate new users during a WAN outage. I wouldn't recommend anything in the 1000 series AP family. It's already been announced that it's going end of sale. Keep in mind the latency between AP and controller must be less than 100ms.

Simulating small branch office in lab network
Hi,
I have to setup what seems to be a very basic configuration, but it doesn't work.
In our lab there is a cluster of switches with a 3550 that does all the routing for vlans.
I need to simulate a sort of a small branch office that has one connection
to the outside world (the lab network).
Here is my design:
Vlan 230 (the internet)
A port on 3550 is in vlan 230 and is connected to e0/0 (172.26.230.150) on 2611 router.
e0/1 interface on a 2611 is (192.168.1.1).
A PC is connected to e0/1 (192.168.1.12).
From the router I can ping any host on vlan 230 and other vlans,
I can also ping the pc connected to e0/1.
However from the PC I can only ping 192.168.1.1(e0/1) and 172.26.230.150 (e0/0)

This is typically required on a box which provides internet connectivity.
Probably the other hosts on vlan 230 have no route back to the pc on 192.168.1.1
Configuring nat on the router will resolve this problem.

We have a small branch office (7 users) that will be moving to a building that has a Wireless Residential Gateway (Model: DPC3829). This device provides wifi for 2 other tenants on the same floor. Can we connect another wireless router to this wireless residential gateway device and create our own SSID so that we don't have to use the wifi settings that the other 2 tenants connect to?
I've attached a picture of what the back of the DPC3829 currently looks like. I am thinking I can plug that yellow network cable into another wireless router and create our own wireless network (obviously off of their internet connection) for our 7 users.
Thank you for your help.u may but any plane wireless device and run it in bridge mode (shouldd run by default i beleive). Then connect one of its lan port to any one of the lan ports available on the DPC3829 thing.

You may create your own report using MC18,MC21 and MC24.... Otherwise ask your ABAPer's help...

Windows 8.1 laptop not connecting to domain in branch office
We have a problem with a laptop.
It is installed in our Head office (The Netherlands), just like all other laptops by using an image.
Tested and working on the domain.
The user had to go to one of our branch offices (China) and when he connected there, the laptop just won't connect to the domain.
When he plugged in the laptop, it keeps trying to connect it's directaccess.
Other laptops (same image) immediately recognize the domain network, but this laptop just won't.
I am able to ping everything on the local network (MPLS connection), from HQ to all Branch offices but not access them.
I've tried changing the DNS settings, but without any result.
Any suggestions?Hi,

how deal with when u are trading with different branch offices of company.
With vendors/customers having one head office and multiple branches, you have to create master data for all of them. Maintain head office account field in the branch accounts master data.

i think you mean about best practice topology.
First of all,you will add Additional Domain Controllers on your branch offices.Also This ADC will have DNS,DHCP role based.And will deploy a File server.
Important point is structure you want to build.
