Export to Facebook FAN PAGE

Does anyone know how to upload photos to a facebook fan page? All I can do is upload to a profile and not a fan page.

There is no iPhoto interface to anthing on Facebook except your photos on your profile page - for anything else export the photo (file men ==> export) and upload using the normal Facebook web upload interface

Hi Durraze, I think that is a bug, have you install this: platform-csa-9.0.1-cop-4.cop.sgn file ?
Download from cisco.com, there is a readme about that .cop. It says this:

Aperture 3: Posting to facebook fan page or group?

Hi all, I could't find an option for this. Is there a way to post galleries in aperture 3 to a facebook fan page instead of to my facebook profile?

The short text status is of a completely different nature than a photo album.
I've also seen this request on other forums for non-Apple products and the answer is always the same: The developers say Facebook does not currently provide a way in their API to communicate with the photo albums on Pages, only on personal Profiles. As far as I can tell, all complaints about this need to go to Facebook.

Can I use iWeb to "beef up" a facebook fan page?

I'm a total novice to publishing web sites but I have used iWeb to create a personal web page which is my only experience. So, my question is... can I use iWeb to put content into a facebook fan page I've created? I have FBML on the page if that helps.

It would be very difficult and definitely not the right program to do it. You would really need a tool that is geared towards generating HTML such as one of these;

Exporting to secondary Facebook fan page

I have a personal Facebook page, and I also administer a fan page. I have the same login information for both (i.e., I am identified by Facebook as the user who administers the fan page). I can upload from iPhoto directly to my personal page, no problem. I can't seem to figure out how to upload to an album in my fan page. Any ideas? Thanks!

I am trying to find newbie- through advanced level tutorials for making fan pages for Facebook. Almost everything I have found is either for FBML, now deprecated, or for somebody's page-making app. I want to learn it myself.

I don't know a lot about this subject but thought I'd give it a shot to answer. You can use Adobe Encore to create menu systems for your DVD title screen. As far as Flash is concerned I think you can import your animations into Encore's menu system though I'm not exactly sure how. If you want to just make an animation that will be played back without interactivity you would just export your Flash animation as a Quicktime MOV file and import it into After Effects for further editing and finishing. Once you render your mp4 (h.264) from AE you can bring this into Encore to author for your DVD.

LR4 export to Facebook business page

I can't seem to find a way to 'create' a new Album on my business page from within LR4, It seems to automatically place it (as a new album) in the administrators facebook page.
You can upload to existing albums on business pages that you (administrator) owns - but that causes an issue as in Facebook (from Facebook) you can only create an album if you upload an image first- and of course my images are already in LR4.
I basically want to- send up to my business page new albums of my work from LR4 - Should be simple shouldn't it?

We are having the same problem: it seems that FB defaults to the personal account, if you at some point added a separate business page to your account. I doubt this has anything to do with LR or could be resolved at that end.
Unless someone comes up with a better idea I suspect the only way around this is to change the FB business account into an entirely separate one without losing all your followers in the process.

I am interested in finding out if the text document that the Flash template uses can be modified. These Flash templates always use a conventional text file that you can alter using Wordpad or similar. There are references to variables such as &Name1=YourCompanyName. You are simply supposed to go in and change the value of the company name and save the text file. When you open the associated HTML in a browser the changes are evident. I am not sure how this actually works? The key is that normal folks with no Flash experience are supposed to be able to make a website from a template without using Flash software. I made a change to the above code as follows:
&Name1=<font face="trajan pro" color="black" size="60">Body Das</font>
I have experimentsed with this and it accepts the font color and the font size but I never am able to get the actual font to work. It shows up blank when I preview the HTML in a browser. Again, not sure if there is a different font or styles tag that I could be using with the text document?

Z10 Twitter app/ Share tweet to fb fan page

I am not able to access UK based FAN pages of Facebook. I am in India. Is there a solution? Can i obtain a UK based ip address? Is there a paid service available? Please help

I believe the UK based FAN pages are blocking my ip since i am based out of India. They only allow to access FAN pages if you are in UK or have a UK ip address.
There is a program called HOT SPOT Shield. It could assign me a US based ip address. However i would like to know if there are any such programs that help me acquire UK based ip address so that i can access those fan pages.
With Hot Spot Shield, even Facebook showed my location as Virginia, U.S. so it works fine with US however i am not able to find a program or solution for UK

Exporting to Facebook

Hello all. Have been trying to export photos to Facebook for the past 24 hours, only to be told that "static.photoshop.com could not be found". Facebook plugin had worked well for months previously, never had this problem before. I'm using LR 4.4 64 bit on Windows 7. What can I do about it? Thanks.

Can you upload from iMovie to Facebook? No, sadly it does not have the feature iPhoto has, similar that allows you to upload photos from iPhoto, but sadly not video
From my experience, I goto a lot of concerts, venues, birthday parties, and have mananaged to edit video's to be 19:59 long and seem to be just fine
You might also want to look into other uploaders, facebook does offer the various tools to upload the video via: Safari, Firefox etc, however another option is using an application like 'Video Up Link' for MAC to upload your videos through an applciation. However i would only recomend this for the serious video uploaders. The Demo does allow for 6 uploads, and they upload and you can edit the tags and everything from the application, however it's more meant for like Fan Pages, Companies, Bands etc, and not the daily user.

Iphoto stopped working when trying to export to facebook. iphoto is froze open with flip down for exporting. Neither will respond. Any ideas on how to fix this?
