Export to HDR/Panorama asks for Camera RAW 7?

When exporting multiple images to CS5, get this:-
No update to 7 apparent.

In the past, versions of Lightroom and Camera Raw have been synchronised. It is likely when LR4 is released they will be again.  Until then, realize you are working on a beta of the Next version of Lightroom with the current version of PS/ACR.

  • Invoking Photoshop CS5 from Lightroom 4 asks for Camera Raw Plug-in 7.0

I have just downloaded and installed Adobe Lightroom 4.0. When I try to invoke "Photo / Edit in Photoshop CS 5.1" I get the warning "This version of Lightroom may require the Photoshop Camera Raw plug-in version 7.0 for full compatibility. Please update the camera raw plug-in using the update tool available in the Photoshop help menu". However, the update function in Photoshop CS5.1 says that there are no updates available and searching adobe.com I can find no references to Camera Raw plug-in 7.0. What is one to do? Thanks.

No, the warning is not the issue.  As I've said, "supported cameras" are not the problem.
I do initial processing on my images, then using Lightroom CMD E push them to Photoshop for further editing.  The message says "7.0 may be required for full compatibility" should I ignore that warning and click "Open Anyway"  because there really aren't any compatibility issues?
LR 4 Develop module is much different than LR 3,  just as CS5 version of ACR is different than what I've seen in the CS6 beta.   My assumption is there would be compatibility issues - as the warning says - when using LR4's develop engine then passing it on to CS5.  I don't use ACR in Photoshop since I use Lightroom, I use Photoshop for detailed image editing in conjunction with the Nik Software selective tool run as a window within Photoshop.
So how about a clear answer:  Just click "Open Anyway" and everything will work great?  When I first work on an image in LR4, then further edit it in Photoshop CS5 with ACR 6.7 installed, Save and Close the image in Photoshop sending it back to Lightroom it will all work just like yesterday when I did all that in Lightroom 3 without any error messages?

  • Still Looking for Camera Raw Plug-In for CS4

I have Adobe CS4, and, after extensive searching, cannot find the correct version of the Camera Raw plug-in for my Mac (OS 10.6.8).  I just did successfully download and install the DNG converter 8.1 for Macs.  Today I downloaded version 5.4 for mac then it told me to quit before proceeding with the installation, that there was a newer version available.  Adobe states my camera's minimum requirement for Camera Raw is version 5.4.

Can anyone guide me to the right one?  Camera Raw only been a dream until now.  I finally have a great DSLR that supports raw, I've been playing around with it in iPhoto, but it's now time for me to take this to the next level.
    Thanks very much.

Ask such specific questions on the Camera RAW or Photoshop forums and include info about your camera. If it's a newer model, this may ber perfectly normal and the files may require you to upgrade to CS5.1 so you can use the latest versions of Camera RAW or use the standalone DNG converter...

  • How can I use the color adjustments interface that shows up for camera RAW on jpeg files?

How can I use the color adjustments interface that shows up for camera raw on other files types? The HLS controls had the secondary color adjustments (6 colors instead of the 3). Plus, it had same vibrancy and a better Curves interface. Yesterday was the first time I imported raw into Photoshop CS5 and I got that really cool interface. What is that? Can I use that on other file formats?

Actually I am using the Tradional Chinese Version, when I try to edit the jpg file with camera raw, the system shows that there is no camera raw plug-in. The cmaera raw never work.

Which version of photoshop or photoshop elements are you using?
    Which operating system?
There is no such version as cs10.
Do you mean photoshop shop elements 10?
If you go to Help>About Photoshop Elements (windows) or Photoshop Elements Editor>About Photoshop Elements (mac), that should tell you which version you have.

  • The new Update with the Patch for Camera Raw is not working. Code U44M1P34

    Hi there,
i have a problem with the new CC Update - including the patch for Camera Raw 8.7.1
    Error Code: U44M1P34
    Photoshop CC (2014)
    After Effects CC (2014)
    Brisge CC
The logfile shows 1 fatal error:
FATAL: Payload 'Photoshop Camera Raw 8_8.7_AdobeCameraRaw8.0All 8.0.0.22 with a number following.
I have tried to uninstall an reinstall. Did not work at all, because the same Problem is shown.
I did not install in other folders. All other updates worked - but not this update. The problem seems to bee only caused by the Camera Raw Update.
Are there others with the same Problem? Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance and Greetings,
    Joerg

    Hi Jeff,
it seems that i have found a dirty, but working solution for my problem on this site: Getting fatal Exit Code 34 when installing an app
To change these 3 folder names and reinstalling of my Programs worked fine without any errors:
    Adobe PCD -> Adobe PCDold
    backup -> backupold
    caps -> capsold
Now the Programs are on the actual status with all updates included and everythings seems to be fine.

  • Are there new updates for camera raw for Lightroom 4, or only for Lightroom 5, as in 5.3 ?

Are there new updates for camera raw for Lightroom 4, or only for Lightroom 5, as in 5.3 ?

There will be no further camera support updates for Lightroom 4 beyond what is already listed in this table.
    http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html
Only current versions of Lightroom (currently Lightroom 5.3) will have further camera support added.
If you need to work with Raw files from new cameras you'll either have to upgrade to Lightroom 5 or join the Photoshop Photography Program (to get PC CC + LR5 + extras) or convert to DNG using Adobe's free DNG converter.

  • How do I get the 7.3 plug in for Camera Raw for PSC6?

How do I get the 7.3 plug in for Camera Raw to be used with the Canon Powershot G15 for PSCS6?

Normally you should just have to do Help - Updates from Photoshop's menus to get the latest Camera Raw (and all other updates).
Is this not working for you?

  • Script for Camera Raw Catch

    Hi all,
I'm trying to figure out a way to incorporate my script for opening files in Photoshop to catch if no Camera Raw settings have been done to the file yet.  Currently, I open files using a droplet that applies my actions and preferences to the files so when I start working all of my layers and adjustments have been added.  The problem I run into is that sometimes files that haven't had Camera Raw adjustments made sneak into my workflow.  I want to create a script that catches this, gives me an alert that files haven't had their color adjustments yet.  I've done a lot of reading forums, but most out there is to pull the data for creating files, or to enter the data, none for camera raw data directly.
I've tried a normal try { app.activeDocument.xmpMetadata.rawData.match(/<crs:HasSettings>/)[1] with a catch error, but I think this isn't the correct call out for catching the issue as it doesn't catch whether or not the crs data is there.
    Any feedback is welcome!  Thanks!

  • I have PE11 I try PE12 When update for Camera raw is ok for my Nikon D610 ?

I have PE11 I try PE12 When update for Camera raw is ok for my Nikon D610 ?

Support for Nikon D610 is added is ACR 8.3 only. Hopefully it would be available for PSE12.
If you want to use your Nikon D610 raw files with ACR in PSE11, you can instead use adobe camera raw convertor to convert your raw files to .DNG format.
You can download ACR 8.3 convertor from http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/cameraraw8-3.html?PID=5157839

  • I am looking for Camera RAW for Elements 11 for a Nikon D610

Does anyone have the link for Camera RAW for Elements 11 for a Nikon D610?

According to the Adobe Supported Camera List - a D610 needs ACR 8.3:
Camera Raw plug-in | Supported cameras
According to the Adobe Apps list, ACR 8.3 only works with PSE12:
    Camera Raw-compatible Adobe applications
So either upgrade your PSE to 12, or use the DNG Converter 8.3 or 8.4, to convert the NEFs to DNGs that PSE11 can read.  The DNG Converter can be found, here:

  • Lightroom 4 keeps asking me for Camera Raw 7.0

    Hi,
Each time I try to open an image in Photoshop CS5 from Ligfhtroom 4 I get this message about Camera Raw 7.0 required for full compatibility. But I can't find it anywhere?
    Thanks,
    Juan

Said on this forum over and over...(wish there were some sticky threads)...
It's not out yet. That will take Photoshop CS6 (not released) and ACR 7. You can either Render using Lightroom to open the image in Photoshop or download the ACR 6.7 beta (which has some issues).
