Export to omf not an option in L9?

Crazy - all the literature I see shows Export to OMF as an option in the file menu yet in mine it doesn't. See the screen shot - what am I missing?

OMF export is only available in LP 9.1 or later, and only in 32-bit mode.

FR 11.1.1.3 "export to query ready mode" option not working

Hi All,
We have a scenario where few users are not able to use the "export to query ready mode" option after running an FR report.
For some reason the save dialog box doesnt open or doesnt pop up when this option is ticked.
Note that this issue comes only on running FR Essbase reports. (for FR HFM reports it works fine)
Does any body have any resolution to this.
Kindly advise.

"export to word" not showing as an option (mac)

I am using the free trial specifically to try exporting an annotated .pdf to Word and then accepting and tracking those annotations in Word. The 1 minute video seemed very easy. Problem is, I don't see "export to word" as an option under the comment options. I did see an "export to word" under "tools", but that did not allow me to accept the .pdf annotations in the Word document. Any help is appreciated.

After Opening PDF in Acrobat (not Reader):
Go to file menu
Click on Save as Other.
Choose Word Format for .Docx type files.
Choose desired location to save.
Save File.
Quit Acrobat
Open Word.
NOTE: Acrobat and PDF has no concept of Line Breaks. So you will have to repair Broken sentences manually. If a Long document a very long task. I'm not sure if the annotations can be removed easily. Because Word's Track changes will work. You may have to manually remove Tracked changes items or change them Manually. You should get hold of the original Document. Accept changes, turn off Tracked changes, and save the original document. Then if you have Acrobat XI on a Mac:
go to File Menu Print
Click and Hold on the PDF Button
When Context menu pops up choose Adobe PDF.
Now follow the steps as they come up. First window you choose quality of PDF this basically Distiller Job Options. I usually use the first that comes up (High Quality) .
Second item that comes up Choose name or edit name given (I usually alter the (example) Name from Microsoft Word -Sample.docx.pdf to Sample.pdf), then choose (Browse) the desired location to save file., Then choose Save.
Note: Acrobat Mac has two long standing bugs Adobe refuses to fix. (They Blame Microsoft and Apple)
URL's and Mailto:'s unless they have been created by Word/Excel's AutoCorrect doesn't come over you have to manually add the links and even then they don't change color to blue nor do they underline (If you create URLs.Mailto through the URL Wizard (Insert menu > URLs) you will have to manually create them Yourself.
Next if you have any Section Breaks or page Breaks Inserted (Insert Menu > Breaks > Page Breaks, Column Breaks, Section Breaks Continuous, or Section Breaks next page; you may have multiple PDF's created. And have to piece them back together. And especially with pages that switch orientation (Portrait, to Land scape).
There is absolutely no excuse for these bugs to languish for 15 years, but Adobe has no intention of ever fixing them. They say its up to Apple and Microsoft to fix problems actually belonging to them
It been proved time and time again by just taking such files and opening on a Windows Machine and there is no issues. In creating PDF's.

OMF file will export, but will not open

Hello
I need to export a sequence to an omf file. When I export to omf, it looks like it's exporting normally, but when I try to open the file, it will not open. Oh, and the icon after export is gray with no logo. Am I missing something?

The OMF file must be imported into an application
that can read OMF files.
Such as Logic Pro, Protools, Digital Performer, etc.,
i.e. a multitrack audio editor that specifically
supports OMF, (e.g. Protools LE won't, unless you
have the DV Toolkit installed). What/who were you
making the OMF for?

The video's audio consisted of voices only. I needed to export it to an omf file for an audio house. They were to sweeten up the voices to accompany a live orchestral performance at Symphony Hall in Boston. This was a last minute fix, as the performance was on the following day, so there was a crunch. As it turned out, THEY were able to open the omf file perfectly with whatever they were using, and were able to sweeten it up just fine.

How come the "do not dispose" option in photoshop doesn't have any effect on my stopmotion animations when I import them in After Effects?

i'm trying to create an animation in photoshop. It's a sort of spiral shape that appears bit by bit.
I'm drawing different frames, but each frame is build onto the previous frame. So i don't have to redraw to part that came before the new part:
So first i drew all the different frames (yes they have transparent backgrounds). Then I selected all layers and went to window > animation.Here I made frames from all the layers and converted it to a frame animation. here I selected all frames and selected " do not dispose" because I want all the previous frames to stay visible when a new frame appears.
Then I did export >render video
file options:
image sequence: photoshop
range: all frames
render opt: straight
frame rate: 20fps
Now I get all the different layers as PSD files. After this I imported the files in after effects:
file>import >multiple files
import as: footage, photoshop sequence, merged layers
this gives me a single animated file with all the frames behind each other. But the "do not dispose" option has no effect here. I just shows all the different frames, but it disposes all previous frames. Instead of this as a final frame:

Can someone help me with this? I'm kinda new to animation.

An image sequence is an image sequence is an image sequence. AE does not care for specifics of PS' internal animation system and that is that. I'm also not clear why you choose to import as multiple files. A simple image sequence surely would do the trick?!

How to export contacts, calendar, notes from outlook 2013 for mac to out 2013 PC

I have been unsucessful with syncing my iPhone5 and iPad Air (both are iOS7). My MS Outllok 2013 is installed on my iMac (Maverick). My iMac is dualt booted with Windows 7 and Maverick operating systems.
I visited my local Apple store and was told that I would need to export my contacts, calendar, notes etc to a thumb drive and import to my Windows-based MS Office 2013. Well, I tried to do that but discovered when you go to export on the Mac side and option to export to .csv is not an option. The one an only option is ".olm"
How do I accomplish exporting my contacts, calendar, notes to a thumb drive and is able to import on the PC side? Not to fond of the fact that I have a brand new iMac and is unable to sync my iphone and iPad Air. This *****!!

Well, there actually is... syncing through Link to Outlook is one way.

Quicktime not an option on Sequence settings Video preview

In the sequence settings, under video preview, "Quicktime" is not listed as a Preview File Format.
Running Windows 8.1, 64bit
I have installed the latest Quicktime, uninstalled it, reinstalled it, repaired it, to no avail.
Also I have done the same with Premiere Pro, uninstalling and reinstalling.
Here is a screenshot of the drop-down menu that does not have the Quicktime option.
I have run out of ideas for how to get this to appear, so I came here :/

The Preview format options have always been somewhat limited. Consider this, that the previews should be just that - previews. When you have sufficient effects added to a clip to where it won't play smoothly in the timeline, you might wish to render it to get a better idea how the finished product will look. However, when you do the final export, best to NOT check the box for "Use Previews", since you would then be re-encoding (recompressing) the clip a second time. Better to export right the timeline, encoding straight from the source to final destination, diregarding any render previews you might have made.
Maybe you can elaborate on the intended use or workflow of your desired preview format? I'm a PC user and I think that on the Mac, with FCP, one had the option to render previews as QuickTime and those files could then be stitched together at the end without transoding them again, but not so with Premiere.
You might find that different Sequence Presets will provide different render preview options. 1280x960 is a non-standard format so that could limit your options.

Export Column List not being Obeyed

Running on win7 64-bit.
SQL Developer Version 3.1.07
In the table list in the connections window, if I right click on a table, specify to only export data (i.e. no DDL), alter the columns to be exported, all works fine. Only those columns I specified are in the export (using the insert statements option - actually, i just quickly tested with csv and the same pattern occurs).
On the other hand, if I am in the Tables data view, if I right click in the grid, select Export, alter the columns to be exported, all columns are exported (even those I had un-selected).
Albeit, I am running java 1.7.0_04, which I understand isn't supported with sql developer, but still seems odd the column specification works with one export function and not the other.

Thanks for reporting this. As a workaround, do this:
1. In the Object Viewer Data tab, right-click on any column heading.
2. Select Columns... from the context menu
3. Use the Manage Columns feature to hide the columns you wish to exclude from export.
4. Do the export. Step 2 of the Export Wizard still shows all columns as being selected, but will ignore the ones you have hidden from the Data tab.

Flickering using CC 2014 (GPU not available and .mp4 not an option)

Recently, most of my projects are exporting with a strange flickering over the footage.
The projects vary from different sizes to green screen to having color correction.
There is no correlation between the projects that would lead me to believe that it is ONE thing within the project that is causing the issue.
I've been trying many export settings but the one I like to use most is
H.264
Progressive
Square Pixels
Render at Max Depth
2 Pass
In other forums I've read that using the GPU Accelerator will help but my computer is unable to use this.
There have also been suggestions for not using .mp4 and that is not an option for me due to the industry I am in.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Export Exif Maker Notes to jpeg

Hi,
I hoped LR4 would export the maker notes section from my DNG or PEF raw's to the jpeg.
This section contains so much interesting information and I'd really like to see it in the jpeg too.
Please add an option for exporting maker notes.

Yes, it is by design.
That is because maker notes are not preservable -- they contain unknown data that cannot be preserved after editing (or really any change to the file).
Previous attempts to preserve maker notes resulted in crashes on various devices and programs because the contents of the maker note were preserved and not updated (but couldn't be updated because the contents are unknown).

I know it wasn't much to go on but I got your attention!
I work for a charity and use a program called "Donor Perfect".
It has a feature that when you generate a report it gives you the option to export to MSWord, Excel, and PDF.
Below is the step by step description of what happens.
After log on ......
     1. Click on Reports
     2. Listings
     3. Report Category(any)
     4. Select Record type(any)
     5. Select report options (any selection filter that fits or Build a filter) and sort order(any)
     6. Enter title (accordingly)
     7. Click on Preview
     8. When next screen opens with report visible - in "Report Print preview" line above report choose PDF icon
     9. Export to PDF window opens
     10. click on Page range-ALL
     11. What to print-All pages in Range
     12. Save as C:\DPW32\dpsumm.pdf
     13. collate
     14. number of copies(1)
     15. Click on "Screen"
     16. Click on "Display Conversion Status"
     17. Then "OK"
     18. After conversion status reaches "100%" nothing happens -screen does not change!
Then I minimize DP screen and I go to Start menu
     1. Click on Start
     2. Then "My Computer"
     3. Local Disk "C"
     4. Dpw32
     5. Look for "dpsumm" file with today's date
     6. Size of file says 0 KB and that's it!!!!
In previous versions of DP (8 and 9)
the PDF would open on the screen as soon as the Step 18 was finished, then I could save it with an identifying name to a different folder and use it as an attachment that a Donor could receive by e-mail.
I hope I can get back to that because now I have to convert to "Word" (Which takes a long time)then from that I have to create PDF from Acrobat. too many steps ..... if I have 20-30 reports it's too cumbersome.

Indesign cc 2014 export to spreads not working

I have a book on indesign 36 pages, when I export to pdf (not interactive) I click the option spreads, low quality because it is a proof.
my problem is that some pages are exported as spreads but others are not being exported as spreads
help please!!!

If there are multiple pages within any individual file in your book, those can be output as spreads, but you cannot print a spread made from the last page of file A and the first page of file B even though they are together in the finished book.
If you need to have spreads, I'd export the entire book to PDF (as single pages), then place the PDF into a new .indd file using Scott Zanelli's script (InDesignSecrets » Blog Archive » Zanelli Releases MultiPageImporter for Importing both PDF and INDD Files) and print your spreads from that, but really, do you need spreads for a proof?

PNG not an option in optimize dropdown

I opend a PNG graphic in Fireworks (both CS4/CS5) and made some changes but it won't allow me to export as PNG. The graphic is an existing Fireworks graphic. Any ideas? I'm on a Mac.

When I go down to my preferences panel to select the export optimize file type png is not an option only jpg and gif formats.
I can't just save it because the Fireworks file I'm working in is not the same location as the web graphic I'm trying to replace.
When I open the actual web graphic (which is PNG) file in Fireworks it won't allow me to edit it and says it is a bitmap.

Change Default Export Value to Not "Off"

Hi,
I'm using a form for data collection and have multiple checkboxes. I have it set so that the export value of each checkbox is "1" when checked, but I can't figure out how to change their default export values when not checked. The default is "Off," but I'd like it to be "0." Is there a way to do this (possibly using Javascript)?

Syntax
IMPLIED_SHARE [app_name] TRUE|FALSEapp_name—Optional. If provided, the setting applies only to the specified application; otherwise, the setting applies to the Essbase Server.
TRUE—Default value. Parent is treated as an implied share because it has only one child or because it has only one child that consolidates to the parent.
FALSE—Never use Implied Share unless explicitly set in the outline.
Notes
If the IMPLIED_SHARE configuration setting is absent from Essbase.cfg, the default setting of TRUE is used.
