Export to Powerpoint in PDF Pack?
Hello,
Today I subscribed to the PDF Pack to convert files to PPTX. I cannot find this feature anywhere on the site.
Has it been removed?
Thank you!
Keith
Hello Sara,
I purchase the PDF Pack based upon the options shown here (see attachment). The PDF Pack subscription explicitly states support of conversion to PPTX format.
If it doesn't support it, I would like to process a refund.
Thank you!

No PowerPoint or PDF after installing Fix Pack 2 for Xcelsius Present 2008
Have installed Fix Pack 2 for Xcelsius Present 2008
Seemed like big improvement - smoother and no crashes.
But -
Exported to PowerPoint, closed everything down. Opened PowerPoint file and nothing.
Exported to PDF - said that I should upgrade to new Flash program. Installed Flash 10. - Opened PDF file and nothing.
Please helpHi Bruce,
Try exporting to .SWF and seeing if you can run that without a problem.
Then try importing that .SWF into PowerPoint to see if you can set that up without a problem.
From there we can see if it is an Xcelsius issue or another PC issue.
Thanks,
Brian -
I had a "pdf export" plan and upgraded it to "pdf pack" plan and it was charged the full price of the new plan in my credit card. How to get the refund of the non used part of the old plan?
Hi edilsoncf,
I've seen your question on several forums, and responded there. Did you get your subscription sorted out?

Acrobat X Pro - I need to export a multiple page pdf into a powerpoint presentation - no editing ability needed
Then you need to upgrade to Acrobat XI Pro, which you can do from the Adobe Products Page.
-
Subscription Acrobat Pro DC, Adobe Export PDF, Adobe PDF Pack.
How can I activate the need of licens?
The reason can be Adobe policy, I have change computer, added products, stop using any product and so on.Hans,
When you no longer need the Adobe software on a computer or you wish to move it to another one, you should deactivate the software.
See this link: how to deactivate software. Installation rules will let you install the software on two computers of the same platform (both windows or both mac) but you are limited to running it on only one at a time. If you have only installed it once, you should be able to install it on the other computer. If you have already installed the software twice and you don't have access to your previous computer or you upgraded your computer's hardware, replace a hard drive, upgraded your operating system, or reformatted your drive before deactivating your software, you can ask Adobe Support to help you deactivate the software from the machine. Just have your serial number or Adobe ID ready, and then contact support. Then you can install the software from the links below and enter your serial number to re-activate the software.
If you need to find your serial number, sign in to your Adobe account. On the Manage Accounts page that appears, all of your registered products and their serial numbers are listed in the Plans & Products section. For more information on locating serial numbers, or on registering a serial number, please see Find a serial number.

Adobe PDF Pack vs Adobe Export PDF?
Is Adobe PDF Pack THE SAME AS Adobe Export PDF? Is the PDF Pack needed for Adobe Connect?
HI Aladybt,
Adobe PDF Pack and Export PDF are two different subscription.
ExportPDF: This subscription would convert PDF file to different formats (DOCx, Xslx, PPTx, RTF)
http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-1511
PDF Pack: This would do all the task that ExportPDF can do, additionally, it can convert the other formats to PDF as well and also combine multiple PDFs into One PDF.
http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-1496
Adobe Connect is a different application and PDF pack is not required for that.
I hope i'm able to answer your question, let me know if you have any other question
Regards,
~Pranav -

Does anybody know if Adobe Export PDF can do something that Adobe PDF Pack can't?
I only need to scan and download documents into a pdf format, convert pdf docs to
Word or Excel for editing and visa versa. I have both Adobe Export PDF and Adobe PDF Pack. Don't remember why I bought both of them. It looks like PDF Pack does everything that Export PDF does, plus a bunch of other things. They are both up for renewal in November. I think I can drop Adobe Export PDF and just keep Adobe PDF Pack. Does anybody know if there's any reason I should keep Adobe Export PDF?Hi,
here a translation of a "judging" of a German computer newspaper, which I tried to translate:
Adobe Export PDF - professional conversion tool on the Web:
Users get the opportunity to as many PDF documents into Office formats Word (. Doc and. Docx) and Excel (. Xlsx) as well as in the Rich Text Format (RTF) to export. As the provider explained, paragraphs, and paragraph spacing, multi-column text, images and tables are taken. Also scanned PDF documents could be easily convert, so Adobe. With the help of OCR technology (Optical Character Recognition), users can edit the documents after converting any.
Conclusion: Who wants to export important PDF files to Word, Excel or RTF and is willing to spend a little money for a reliable solution which finds Adobe PDF export the appropriate tool.
What concerns Using Adobe PDF Pack see here: http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat-com/kb/using-pdfpack.html

PDF Pack doesn't let me export .pdf to .doc
Doesn't PDF Pack have any functionality? Is it just a gateway to more subscriptions? I can't find any way to export .pdf to .doc. Instead, it's asking me to buy another subscription (this time to Adobe Export)!
Hi muktibhukti,
It sounds like you may just need to sign in to the service. What happens when you go directly to https://cloud.acrobat.com and sign in with your Adobe ID and password?

How to export antialiased images of PDF pages?
Hello all:
I recently upgraded to Acrobat XI, and I am surprised to see that you STILL cannot export (or Save As) PDF pages to images that are ANTIALIASED!? Does anyone have a simple answer for this that doesn't involve a workflow of more than 5 steps? This is so headslappingly obvious a need that I'm at a loss for what Adobe's engineers are thinking when programming the Save As Image functions...
I posted this question all the way back in 2009 (see post at http://forums.adobe.com/message/2411677#2411677), and still the answer is the same: when Acrobat saves pages as TIF or JPEG files, they are ALIASED. Who would want that? Who?! WHY?
It's simply exasperating that Adobe does not include a tiny, little check box that says "Antialiased" in the "Save As TIF / JPEG Settings" dialog box where you set all kinds of parameters like resolution and colorspace....If the exporting process would just include antialiasing, you could set the resolution you desire and YOU'RE DONE.
But, as far as I can tell, you still have to perform some kind of gymnastic routine like:
Open the PDF and select all the desired page thumbnails to export.
Right-click and choose Extract Pages. Make sure to check "Extract Pages as Separate Files."
Export all the separate PDFs for each desired page into a folder somewhere.
Open Photoshop and start recording an Action.
Open one of the PDFs and specify the desired resolution.
Save it in a desired location in an image file of your choice (TIF/JPEG).
Stop recording the Action.
Delete the resulting image you made of the test PDF page to avoid an overwriting error later when running the batch (or check box to overwrite in batch dialog).
Run the Action in Batch mode on the entire folder of separate PDF pages.
This is preposterous.
Adobe, please get the simple things right for everyday low-level users before adding feature bloat to Acrobat with each passing version. Please.Hi Dave: Good points about reducing feature bloat and installer footprint taking priority for most users...
However, if, as you say:
Acrobat and Adobe Reader are developed as a standalone product family....
Ultimately, since you can get an AA bitmap of a PDF file by just opening it in Photoshop etc., there is very little commercial demand for Adobe to include that feature in Acrobat.
then, those people who do not have Photoshop (because AA is designed to be standalone, right?) cannot access antialiasing in exporting PDF images at all! Your point is exactly my point.
If there is so little demand, then why include Export to Image functionality at all? Just eliminate it completely to save installer footprint space!....But, then, I'm sure you realize people would complain about that immediately, no? So, again, why include it at all when it's only able to export aliased images which virtually nobody is going to want? That's very passive-aggressive toward's Adobe's users. Nobody really benefits from half-baked features only begrudgingly included in software to placate the vocal minority of users who would otherwise miss it. I realize this isn't a huge issue for most users, but I think this points to a larger mentality within Adobe and the software industry in general....
There is a huge number of people working in corporations that own legacy versions of AA who have not and will not likely subscribe to Creative Cloud! (e.g.: The 100-person architecture/engineering firm I worked at for 10 years had one copy of Photoshop on a community graphics workstation and made everyone use a sign-up sheet to access it.)
Also, it's nice in theory that PDFs are supposed to be a print format. But, many many times, AA users have to make images (for PowerPoint, blogs, client portals etc.) from PDFs that they did not originally create and do not have the source files to recreate or export as images from their originating software. PDF export to images from Acrobat is their only choice without access to Photoshop.
And, if AA is truly designed to be a stand-alone product, untethered from the capabilities of the entire suite of functionality across Creative Cloud apps, then a modular plug-in approach to controlling feature bloat would be more appropriate, no?
For example, AutoCAD is a giant, sprawling application for technical drawing. And AutoDesk has recognized over the years that AutoCAD is used by many industries, each with special needs unneccesary to other industries' user base. So, they've created add-on packs of plug-ins that transform vanilla AutoCAD into AutoCAD for Architecture, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Bridge Design, Home Building, etc....see where I'm going?
And Adobe has a far larger installed user base for Acrobat than AutoDesk does for AutoCAD! How about plugins like AA for Technical Publishing, AA for 3D modeling, AA for Presentations?... -
Export to powerpoint not working for certain views
Hi All,
I am in the process of implementation of STVN 2.1 Pre EHP3 version of Nakisa OrgChart for one of my clients.
During testing, it is observed that export to powerpoint object is not working for the following views.
1. Condensed Org. Chart
2. Compressed OrgChart -Only works when we expand at least one position
3. Horizontal OrgChart - Condensed children-Only works when we expand at least one position
In all the other views the export to Powerpoint object are working fine.
Export of powerpoint image is working in all the scenarios. We are facing issue only with powerpoint object.
I have implemented Export Pack 3.0 for OrgChart.
J. ThomasHi Luke,
Thanks for the response.
Yes...I have installed SP1.0. I have also applied Export Pack 3.0.
The following features are working fine.
1) Export to PDF
2) Export to JPEG
3) Export to Powerpoint Image.
Export to Powerpoint Object is also working fine if the style is 'Vertical'. The issue is only in case of 'Condensed', 'Compressed' and 'Horizontal OrgChart - Condensed children' sytles. Here again, if we expand at least one position, the export is working.
The error message that is flashed for the user is the usual one....pasted below.
Object Variable or With Blovk Variable Not Set.
Export To PowerPoint
Compatibility
We currently support:
Microsoft PowerPoint 2000 / 2002
Microsoft PowerPoint 2003
Note: To ensure compatability, you may be prompted to install "Service Pack 6 for Visual Basic Runtime." If so, you must accept the installation and once installed it may ask for a system reboot which you may ignore.
ActiveX Security
Depending on your browser settings, you may be prompted to install 'Nakisa Office Components.cab'. This is our ActiveX component that will allow you to use our Exporting functionality.
You may also be prompted to allow the ActiveX to run. If so, you must select 'Yes' to continue.
Note: If you are not prompted and the export fails to occur, please verify your Microsoft Office installation and verify your browser's ActiveX settings are set to 'Enable' or 'Prompt'.
In the log file, the following error message is displayed.
ERROR: ChartingXMLProcessor : generateLayoutXML : Unexpected XML declaration. The XML declaration must be the first node in the document, and no white space characters are allowed to appear before it. Line 1, position 5081.

Exports to PowerPoint not editable
My exports from Keynote to PowerPoint will play, but they crash whenever I try to edit them. Any suggestions?

Issues in exporting SSRS report to PDF format in Report Server - Blank spaces are deleted
Hi Gurus,
I have a problem in exporting SSRS report to PDF format. It deletes all the blank spaces when I use bullet in a Text box and try to export to PDF formt in Report Server . For example
• Project submitted to the TRC
Result in PDF format:
• ProjectsubmittedtotheTRC
I also noted that when I try to export to PDF in Visual Stuio 2005 (Business Intelligence development studio), it does not delete any blank spaces and shows the correct aligned Data in PDF format.
Please help me as it is frustrating a lot
I would highly appreciate for your quick responseWas there ever a solution found for this as i have the same issue.
When bullet point is entered in a field all the spaces are removed when exported to PDF
i tried exporting to excel and it does not remove spaces, however this is no use to me as it needs to be in PDF
Using IE 7 (Don't think the browser has anything to do with it as this happened via a subscription)
Didn't know SSRS had specific Service Packs, i though they came as patches to SQL Server (SQL Server is on Service Pack 3)
This should be easy to replicate all you need to do is copy text containing a bullet point into a sql server database field and then add this field to a report export to pdf and the spaces are gone
Thanks in advance,
Mark Brunton

How do I edit a PDF file with Adobe PDF Pack?
How do I edit a PDF file with Adobe PDF Pack?
Well, you don't. Editing a PDF is a difficult and fraught business even with the most expensive software.
But PDF Pack lets you export to Word; then often you can edit in Word. Now you can make a new PDF. It might look like the original, or it might not. If small changes matter you might be out of luck. ON NO ACCOUNT USE THIS FOR GOVERNMENT FORMS.
