Export Trailer: no audio after 60 seconds

Question

I'm using QT Pro (latest version as of today) to export Apple Trailers to MP4 format (so I can play 'em on my PS3). I'm using File -> Export, Movie to MPEG-4, format "MP4" (not "MP4 ISMA"), "Passthrough" on Video, "Passthrough" on Audio.
It works fine for trailers with two channel audio (example: 1080p Simpsons Trailer 1).
But for trailers with 5.1 channels of audio (example: Bourne Ultimatum 1080p), audio passthrough is not an option, and I am forced to use "AAC-LC (Music)"; all other options are greyed out. This would be fine if it worked. The problem is that after 60 seconds, the audio is gone. When I play the file back (either on my PS3 or on my PC with QuickTime Player), the audio cranks along fine until about 65 seconds, and goes silent for the remainder of the clip.
To the question: how can I export trailers with 5.1 audio to MPEG4/AVC using the passthrough method and get all the audio?

I have a panasonic Lumix DMC-LX2 (it's a photo camera). The camera stores the created movie as a quicktime mov file. When I check the content with mediainfo I see the following info:
container: Quicktime, 261 MB, 3mn 33s
video stream: JPEG 10.2 Mbps, 848*480 (16:9), 30 FPS
audio stream: PCM 64 Kbps, 8000 Hz, 8 bits mono
writing library: pana
How do I get the file into premiere:
I create a new project with settings from the template: PAL-DV-Standard 48kHz
(but I already tryed different templates from pal and ntsc)
File / Get media from / Files and Folders / then I select the .mov file
It's added to my Organize tab
I then select it and drag it to the timeline, track, video 1
Then I immediatly see that the audio has for the most part a flatline, only the first 2 seconds I have sound.
