Export Troubles

When I export a video in Premiere, it exports it as a 1KB file. I can't open it or play it. I'm exporting it as an mP4 file (H.264/NTSC). I've done this many times before with no problems. Any suggestions why it's suddenly not working for me?

Well, I figured it out. We were saving it to a flash drive that didn't have enough memory on it. I re-exported it to my desktop and it worked fine:)  Lesson learned

  • Web Gallery export troubles w/ LR 2.3 update (Mac)

I regularly export web galleries (WG) using templates I have created. Earlier today I began having trouble, where LR2.2 would freeze
during a WG export, and I had to force quit LR.
At first, because LR was dragging so slowly, I thought it was a near-full startup disk, so I opened up 31 gb of free space, quit LR and restarted. After the problem reoccured, I thought it was because I had large Tiffs in the WG, which I had never done before, so I excluded them, but it did not help.
Finally I upgraded to LR 2.3, and immediately tried to output a small test WG. When I clicked 'save,' nothing would happen, that is,
the export window would disappear and there would be no indication in the progress bar that the WG was being created, and in Finder sure enough
    nothing was created.
I tried several times. Then I tried it using my template without altering any text in the gallery, and it worked. I repeated this and it worked about 90% of the time. Then I tried it again with my larger web gallery (59 images) and again, nothing happened. I went
back to the simple gallery and it worked; back to larger gallery with text altered: did not work.
EDIT: I am finding it does not like a string of numbers in the "site info" boxes, such as my file number 090217.
    Any ideas?
I am on an iMac Intel, with 4 gb ram, running 10.5.6

    Hi,
I'm testing import/export scripts to export components
and pagegroups from a 10g (9.0.4.0.99) Portal (upgraded from 3.0.9.8.5), and import them into a fresh installed 10g
    Portal instance.
I have some troubles with privileges on the components after the import: every component which had specific privileges (not inherited from DB provider)in the origin portal, seems to be imported with no privilege at all (only 'export' link is displayed) in the the new one.
    Any idea?
I also have troubles importing pagegroups, export works bu no Pagegroup is created during import.
Any help would be great (before I log a Tar).
    Thanks.

  • CS4 Exporting Trouble - Audio / Video Sync

I'm having a lot of trouble exporting from Premiere CS4. I have a 5 minute video project shot in 1920x1080 and I'm just trying to export it into a format that can support its HD. When I try the H.264 BluRay preset, though, the audio and video are hugely off sync from each other. I've exported smaller portions using the Windows Media Video format, and that looks great, but it won't render my entire video without the export failing due to an error.
Is there any way I can get this exported without selling myself short on quality?

Dang, for most users, the MainConcept H.264 has been about perfect.
Maybe another user will have some ideas on the OOS issues. Most of those seem to revolve around Apple's H.264, but that is not the case with your Project. Sorry that I could not help.
    Good luck,

  • Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 Exporting Trouble

Hey guys, I have been having trouble whenever I export my video. I have a video all set up, ready to export (all rendered) and
it doesn't matter what format, file type, size, quality, or anything, it just keeps doing this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fb2qt3XHFhI
It seems like some of the clips aren't loading correctly, or something.
Help would be appreciated. I just need this done, and I have no clue why it is doing this.
    Thanks!

This looks like it could be the problem. The thing is though, I exported it once, and I had no trouble at all. It just seems odd to me. But the time remapping is just like,
Time Remapping- Speed 100.00%- Velocity 100.00 / second
So should I just create a new sequence, with the settings such as "AVCHD - 720p - AVCHD 720p60" ? or should I have the frame rate the same as the clips?
If you have google talk, we can use that, it would be a lot simpler than doing this, and would provide faster help. [email protected] is mine.

  • XML export trouble

Im trying to create a dynamic photo gallery using Spry and XML that will ultimately resemble the spry gallery demo(http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/spry/demos/gallery/). My troubles occur when i attempt to create a dataset off of a dynamic recordset in an XMLexport.php file (like the tutorial - Using XML Export to create dynamic Spry data sets) i have trouble.
I have my dynamic XML file named export.php and when i navigate to export.php it displays the data in the proper format (xml style). My trouble comes when i try to incorporate export.php into my XML dataset. I navigate to the file and click schema and i get a Design Time Feed error. The first line states that it failed to get schema from dynamic data, it then ask me to provide a design time feed.
When i close the pop-up window i get an error message in the row element window of the - invalid document structure (1,1).
What am I missing when i do this?
Just so its easy to establish my document structure i use Xampp on my laptop with htdocs being my root and each site in their own folder within htdocs. I have my localhost set to htdocs so the database will.
    Cheers
    Ryan

    Hi Ryan,
I navigate to the file and click schema and i get a Design Time Feed error. The first line states that it failed to get schema from dynamic data, it then ask me to provide a design time feed
at this point Spry´s Dreamweaver UI expects a "hardcoded" XML file containing all the nodes & values etc -- the XML structure and data of your export.php will be parsed and generated by your server, but Dreamweaver itself is no web server and can´t parse PHP files from within.
That said, code yourself a real XML file containing just one node with "dummy" data, and make sure that its XML structure plus data format will be identical to what your export.php file will also generate -- use this static XML file to feed Spry´s UI, and when your page can be considered "ready for consumption", replace the pointer to your "dummy" XML file with a link to export.php

  • Motion strobe 24p export trouble

    hey all.
new to posting but reading posts has helped a lot. thanks.
i am having trouble exporting files to DVD. i am getting ugly horizontal lines during movement within the frame whenever i burn to disc.
the material is 24p anamorphic in a 4:3 timeline. (it isn't squeezed, i'm playing it widescreen with black bars.) it is a multicam edit.
i have exported the files 'using quicktime conversion' and i've tried many different setting combos. there is minimal strobing on the quicktime files when i play back but exagerated strobing on the actual disc. in the final cut canvas the image looks great.
i am trying burn three programs ranging in length from 30 mins to 1:49 mins. i am dragging mpg-2 quicktime file into iDVD. (doing tutorials on DVDSP to learn now.)
these are the settings a friend instructed me to use.
method: 1-pass CBR (constant bit rate)
Data rate: 4000 for a 2 hour program, 7000 for a 1 hour program (do not exceed 7000)
    Frame Size: 720, 480
    Frame Rate: 29.97
    Aspect Ratio: 4:3
    Field Encoding: Bottom field first
    I Frame Rate: 15
additionally you want to make sure that the mpeg2 is set for deinterlacing.
just not sure what i'm doing wrong here. could it play the dvd burner itself? i've test multiple types of discs as well (including the apple brand.)
    any suggestions would be helpful.
    thanks,
    dan hayes...
p.s. i've read the ken stone 24p stuff and other posts but haven't seen my exact problem.

    wow.
thanks for the quick replies. wes. i am editing in a 29.97 timeline.
It sounds an awful lot like pulldown frames.
what exactly does this mean? (is it the half field explanation you provide?) my problem looks somewhat like this example. i have posted two screen shots on my blog if you wouldn't mind taking a look.
    http://freethinkpictures.blogspot.com/
as per your suggestion i have tested my dvd's on both NTSC and progressive monitors. i see these horrible lines on both screens.
my impression is that i DO NOT need to do anything different/special to regular 24p footage (as opposed to 24pa). i imported in dv ntsc anamorphic (29.97) and edited the same way.
But while you may perceive this as a problem, it is not really visible played back on an NTSC interlaced monitor. You only see it on a progressive computer monitor...
i am making this DVD available to a group of people, they may use progressive or interlaced monitors, so i'm hoping to create a disc that can be played back on both.
thanks very much for your time. any additional feedback is appreciated!

  • Final Cut Pro X export troubles: exports video with only half the audio.

Ever since I updated Final Cut Pro X, I've been having problems exporting. I either get error messages or the audio doesn't fully export. When I tried exporting a master file to my desktop, I got a message saying “error occurred when creating frame” then lists the frame number. Someone suggested copying the project file and pasting it into a new project. I did that, and it exported without the error popping up; but halfway through the video, the audio disappears, and does so in the same spot it disappeared in a previous youtube export before I tried the copy/paste method. I don't have the original footage; I'm making color correction changes to an edit; so I'm not sure if the second half of the video is somehow corrupted, don't know how to check that, and not sure what to do if it is.
Another suggestion given to me was to delete the event my footage is in, then create a new event, re-upload all the footage into that one, and relink my project files to it. He also said don't delete my event and project folder at the same time, which I'm not even sure how you simultaneously delete two things on a laptop. I don't understand how this method would work though, since deleting the event makes my project disappear since it has nothing to link to. I'm scared to try this method since I don't want to lose my work; I really don't want to color correct it all over again.
Is there any way to successfully export the file suitable for youtube posting, or is this a bug in the system they haven't fixed yet?

    Just turned off background rendering.
I'm not certain what you mean for specs in a specific point in the video, but here are the specs for the entire edit I initially received:
    Dimensions: 1920 X 1080
    Codecs: H.264, AAC, Timecode
    2 Audio Channels
    Total bit rate: 12,083
Size: 951,735,770 bytes (951.7 MB on disk)
Here are the specs for the exported video that has the audio issue:
    Dimensions: 1920 X 1080
    Codecs: H.264, AAC, Timecode
    2 Audio Channels
    Total bit rate: 12,274
Size: 966,817,082 bytes (966.8 MB on disk)
The video is 10:28 minutes long and the audio leaves at 5:57.
If that wasn't what you were looking for, just let me know. I'm not very good with technical stuff sometimes so may have misunderstood.
Is there something I should have done to the piece before I began color correcting it, like transcoding?

  • Flash banner Exporting trouble

    Ok...
I have just made a banner in Flash CS3 and it all seemed to
be working perfectly. I wanted to export the banner as an animated
GIF. So i go through "Publish Settings" to find this and then i
publish it and this is where everything goes wrong.
When i view my finished animated GIF in "my pictures" (where
it was published to), there is squashed up text covering the
    majority of the banner.
I have pasted a link to the animated GIF in which i uploaded
to photobucket in hope that someone will be able to tell me what is
wrong and how to fix this problem.

  • Premiere Pro cc Export troubles

    Dear Sirs:
I'm currently trying to export a  1h 20' long video that has taken me several months to compose.
All the video clips were originally taken on a 29,97 fps basis and with the same Sony Handycam.
On the Project Panel it reads correctly 29,97 fps but, strangely enough, when I go to Export / Media / Export Adjustments, on the Origin side it keeps reading 25 fps no matter how many times I correct it. On the Output side, con the contrary, it reads 29,97 fps.
As a result, al the Export trials I've made failed after several hours.
Can anyone give me a clue?
I tried to reach someone at Adobe Support but nobody answers.
    Thank you.

    Not that I know of.
A log of what? Names of the files? Times, dates? For what purpose? I am curious what you have in mind.
I always export to the same directory. All project exports go to one drive. So, I suppose if I wanted a record I could create one of sorts.
What is it you want to do?

  • Export trouble with FCPX - missing clips

Puzzled by problems exporting from FCPX.   Video of a couple of clips disappear, and only shows black.   Audio is OK, tho.
It's 4:30 in length.  Most clips are on main storyline, except for a few cut-aways.   Not doing anything special, except for a couple of dissolves.   Format is ProRes 422 HQ.   Tried export same as project and export to h.264.  Re-started app and machine.   Looks to effect the same two clips every time.  I don't have Compressor 4, yet.
There's not many options that I know to change.
I realized this is a big problem since there's no way out of FCPX, in terms of video or EDL.
    Ideas?

I've had this issue weekly with a show I produce.  It bugs me for hours.  In my case, I have to wait until the entire timeline is rendered, and then I have to export it to ProRes 422.  Any other codec requires a re-render, which provokes the problem again.  The problem starts when I take a few clips from my P2 and use the stability function along with any color correction topping them off with titles.  It seems as though part of the rendering process involves re-analyzing the entire clip during rendering, and if I don't allow it to completely render the clips, I get missing video with graphics on top.  I have a 12-core machine with 16GB RAM, and yet it still takes about two hours to render my 30 minute show after I'm done.  This doesn't include the hours it takes to analyze the P2 clips as I import them, which also hinders me during editing and causes continual crashes.  I'm hoping this new update I'm about to run addresses some of those issues.

  • Premiere Pro CC 2104 Exporting Troubles

I just recently update to Adobe CC 2014 and Yosemite from CS6 and Mountain Lion. I am having extreme difficulties trying to export my projects.
To the extent where I cannot even export. I've only tried h.264 and MPEG2 thus far but they do anything from taking 21 hours to export a 165mb file to not even starting!!
I've read a bunch of things about artifacts in peoples exports, but I can't even get that far. My playback while working on a project also has been struggling.
But I'm way more concerned about the exporting issue at this point.
I have a late 2012 MacBook Pro, 2.7 ghz processor and 16gb on RAM
Has anyone had this same issue and/or have a solution??
    Thanks,
    Anthony

Well, I'd think your machine capable of decent work. Ahem.
I'm assuming the Velociraptors are internal or eSATA? Or Thunderbolt?
Taking 9 hours to render 25 minutes of a 48 minute program is ... not normal. So, you did a wondrous job of providing your hardware data & setup, best I've ever seen perhaps! So ... what's the original camera & codec, is the sequence the same frame-rate & size as the footage or interpreted, what sort of effects have you used, and what export settings. Oh, and did any 3rd party programs or plugins "touch" this footage or sequence?

  • Exporting Trouble Final Cut Pro X

I have a big project that i need to send to my boss for our new ad campaign. I edited using Final Cut pro X and just got the new update. The program will not let me share or export the file and the deadline is in three hours... please help me

Could it be that there is a process going on, like Rendering, for example, and that is why it won't export?
Depending on what titles or transitions are used the Rendering process could be really extended, time-wise. For example, there is one, Title or Transition, I don't remember, with a curtain that moves and that one takes for-ever to Render and, of course, there are others.

  • Audio export trouble with sped up clips

This is primarily and audio / export question.  I've edited one source file (that happens to be 4K pro res) into two kinds of clips in one sequence.  part of the file is essentially unaltered and runs at 100% speed.  the other part of the file I have sped up to 3000% speed.  when playing back within premier pro, I hear the audio from clips at both speeds. I want to preserve the 'sped-up' sound of the 3000% speed clips.  BUT, when I export (using any compression or settings — I've tried many) the final video has NO sound accompanying to the sped up sections, though the 100% sections do have accompanying sound. I've done some troubleshooting and found that clips sped up between 3000 - 1200% have no sound when exported, while clips sped up to 1000% or slower DO have sound when exported. Can you help me preserve the 3000% speed sound in export?
    THANKS

I have seen similar and my work around was to send the audio to Audition, do the time change, save and then import back into Premiere.
