Export video, only few options
For exported video, theire is only DPX, H.264 and original version as option.
And we are not able to choose export size.
I would like to be able to choose other codecs installed in my machine already...

In version 7, you had 2 export routes, File Menu/Export/Movie and Share/ with choices for Disc, Online, Personal Computer, Mobile Phones and Players, and Tape.
In version 11, you do not have the File Menu/Export/Movie route, but you do have Publish+Share (the new generation) Share with a vast selection of export choices. I will not go over them, but for now will address only two of your points in your post.
1. As for QuickTime. Make sure that you have the latest version of QuickTime. QuickTime installation on the computer with Premiere Elements is required to see the QuickTime choices. Assuming that you have done that, then set an appropriate choice for Presets in the export dialog and then go under the Advanced Button/Video Tab, Audio Tab, and, if applicable other of the preset to take control of your video and audio settings.
2. SG has already suggested to you a choice for a file to be uploaded to YouTube at the YouTube web site that should give you best results.
3. But, as an example, here is how you get your old "Windows Media 720p25" export from Premiere Elements 11 Windows.
Publish+Share
Computer
Windows Media
Presets = 720 x 576 16x9 25
then under the Advanced Button/Video Tab of that preset, set as follows
You have full control over those settings. The bottom which is not visible in the screenshot shows "Average Video Bitrate = 1500 kbps (aka Kbps and representing kilobits per second).

Export Video but no option for sound
I would be grateful if anyone could offer any suggestions on how to fix an audio issue with exporting video from Photoshop.
I am choosing the quicktime format however the option for sound is alwas greyed out. from the animation panel I have the audio enabled and I can hear it when I play back from within Photoshop.
I am using Photoshop CS4 extended on PC Windows 7
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I do not have my CS5 Extended handy, so will go from the Premiere Pro (Adobe's video editor) side of the street. Bear with me on this, as PS-Extended might do things a bit differently.
When one is Exporting an AV file, there are two things that must be set:
Exporting both Audio & Video (in PrPro, these are done via checkboxes in the Export>General dialog screen)
Then, one must set Multiplexing * on the Export>Multiplexing dialog screen, to anything but "None." The choice is usually "DVD."
It's the Multiplexing Tab, that many miss. If set to None, then there will be two separate Export files - one for the Video stream, and one for the Audio stream.
Hope that gets you close, and sorry that I cannot open things up, and give you the exact screens and tabs in PS-Extended.

* Multiplexing is the combining of both the Audio & Video streams into a single, discrete file. Multiplexing is usually OFF by default, though in PrPro, it's a "sticky," in that it retains the last setting, so if the user wishes to make a change, they must do so manually, and that setting will then stick, until changed again. The Export of separate files for Audio & Video is most often used, when one is doing the Export to go to a DVD, or BD authoring program, like Adobe Encore. It works best with elemental streams, rather than muxed files, and especially with MPEG Audio. -
AAF won't export video, only audio

I need to export AAFs of projects for Avid finishing. Tried exporting with embedded audio, separate audio, WAV, AIFF, trimmed and complete audio files but in no instance has the video exported.
I get no error message.
I have tried using multiple projects all with the same results-no video goes with the export. I can do work arounds but I need to have a simple and direct way to export from PP to Avid. We have dozens of users in our facility who need this ability.
I've looked through the discussion boards here and elsewhere and can't find an answer to this one.
Is this a known bug? I haven't attempted this in earlier builds, so I'm unsure whether this has ever functioned.
ANy help is appreciated.There are 2 main types of video in the project I'm editing: h.264 (MOV) from a Canon T3i DSLR, and MPEG-2 from an HDV Camcorder. None of the videos will play video in the timeline monitor, but the playhead moves and the audio plays (the video just shows a media offline graphic, although all the media is connected). All videos will play in the source monitor regardless of codec. This leads me to believe that codec issues are not the problem.

I have updated to the latest nvidia driver in the past week. There was another thread similar to my problem (http://forums.creativecow.net/thread/205/874787) where the guy figured out it was because he had 2 graphics cards, and that his timeline monitor was running off the wrong one. However, his description of what he did to fix it was not very clear, or at least not for my amount of knowledge.
There was another thread where someone said to downgrade to an older driver, and that didn't work either. here's a

i make videos using my go pro hd camera, but when i export it only half of my 3 min video shows up with the audio playing in the background, plus when i try to select the quality in the export options it won't let me select 720p or 1080p?????? help!!!
What you could do now is break up your video into smaller parts and render them out, then assemble them again as a whole.
I know this is not the best fix, but it might work.
You can duplicate an edit in the main screen, then delete the last bits and export,
do the same for the other half.
Then import the two bits (or more if you need) in a new edit.
Out of curiosity, can you post what format the video is in?
Copy a video straight from the camera to your computer.
Open it in Quicktime player, and with out playing type Apple + i
or Control + i for PCs
It should tell you lots of info about the video, and might help us to see what is wrong.

i am new to premiere pro, i recently edited a whole short film, effects, music, everything, but it will not give me an option to export. the only export options are: AAF and FINAL CUT PRO XML, can anyone please help me figure out how to fix this? i really dont think i can remake this project! and its due by the end of the week! i need to export as a regular avi/movie file, to upload to youtube and send in an email and burn on a disk. ive tried a few things, including searching online for answers but i havent had any luck on my own. please please help!

When exporting from keynote to quicktime the video only includes the first 3 slides
I'm exporting a keynote presentation to quicktime and the resulting video only has the first 3 slides in it. What could be the issue here? All my software is up to date.

Gregfile > export > Quicktime > custom > then select one of the codecs: MPEG-4, standard DV, HDV, AVCHD, Apple Intermediate Codec and use full size in the options.

I have a MacBook Pro (Retina) and a Sony HandyCam DCR-HC48 video Camera. The Sony only exports video via Firewire, which is not available on the Mac. Is there a firewire to USB or to HDMI adapter?

After syncing with itunes(windows), messages for one of the contact(I have saved the contact name as 'Unknown') are lost. I can see only few messages which fits to the screen. I don't see option to load earlier messages.

How Do I Add CODECs (e.g., FFV1, Lagarith) to Photoshop's 'Export Video' Options?
Hi all,
I'm trying to add lossless CODECs (e.g., FFV1, Lagarith) to Photoshop (and Premiere and After Effects and Adobe Media Encoder) so that I can generate archival videos with the highest possible lossless compression ratios. I've installed several CODECs, but none of them appear in Photoshop's 'Export Video' options, for example. How do I get these CODECs to appear?
For the record, I'm using CS5.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I was concentrating almost entirely on Photoshop, where the new CODECs weren't appearing. To make things worse, I'm new to AME and wasn't looking in the right places. Selecting AVI and then breesing down to the Codec dropdown revealed Lagarith, ffdshow (FFV1, HuffYUV, etc.). Awesome. Now, let's give these suckers a whirl....

Hi, i have edited a clip in hd with final cut, now I need to export it in 2K format. anybody knows how i can do it in FCP? in internet I found only few info about 2K format: no more than frame size. nothing about codec or similar. thanks for any help.

as it is a commercial promo that must be projected in a multiplex cinema, the 2K format is needed.
I've heard about transcoding services, and they are very expensive.
so i'm looking if there is a way to do everything by fcp.
the project will be delivered as SD DVD for archive pourposes and as a single file for the projection or eventually transconding.
p.s.: sorry for my english, i'm from italy: had my last english lesson 35 years ago! -
I'm attempting to export a quicktime file to an AVI file via quicktime pro. Which settings would yield an uncompressed AVI file? There seem to be just a few options, would I choose cinepak?

Not as far as I'm aware - and I'd be very surprised to learn that they were.
However, you can export a series of bitmaps and composite those in any video editor; or use the QTMovie xtra (which is scriptable) to export. -
Final Cut Pro X export troubles: exports video with only half the audio.
Ever since I updated Final Cut Pro X, I've been having problems exporting. I either get error messages or the audio doesn't fully export. When I tried exporting a master file to my desktop, I got a message saying “error occurred when creating frame” then lists the frame number. Someone suggested copying the project file and pasting it into a new project. I did that, and it exported without the error popping up; but halfway through the video, the audio disappears, and does so in the same spot it disappeared in a previous youtube export before I tried the copy/paste method. I don't have the original footage; I'm making color correction changes to an edit; so I'm not sure if the second half of the video is somehow corrupted, don't know how to check that, and not sure what to do if it is.
Another suggestion given to me was to delete the event my footage is in, then create a new event, re-upload all the footage into that one, and relink my project files to it. He also said don't delete my event and project folder at the same time, which I'm not even sure how you simultaneously delete two things on a laptop. I don't understand how this method would work though, since deleting the event makes my project disappear since it has nothing to link to. I'm scared to try this method since I don't want to lose my work; I really don't want to color correct it all over again.
Is there any way to successfully export the file suitable for youtube posting, or is this a bug in the system they haven't fixed yet?Just turned off background rendering.
I'm not certain what you mean for specs in a specific point in the video, but here are the specs for the entire edit I initially received:
Dimensions: 1920 X 1080
Codecs: H.264, AAC, Timecode
2 Audio Channels
Total bit rate: 12,083
Size: 951,735,770 bytes (951.7 MB on disk)
Here are the specs for the exported video that has the audio issue:
Dimensions: 1920 X 1080
Codecs: H.264, AAC, Timecode
2 Audio Channels
Total bit rate: 12,274
Size: 966,817,082 bytes (966.8 MB on disk)
The video is 10:28 minutes long and the audio leaves at 5:57.
If that wasn't what you were looking for, just let me know. I'm not very good with technical stuff sometimes so may have misunderstood.

I am trying to export a video and I'm stuck at 0%. The file in the video is a .mp4 that I downloaded from my own Youtube page. I have the same problem with any project containing this type of file. I have tried to export as .mov, .Mpeg, .wmv, .avi, with the same results.
I am able to export videos that contain other sorts of files without difficulty.
I am using a PC. Adobe Premiere Elements 12.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
