Export with Borders !! like the Mogrify plugin

a very necessary feature after watermarks
actually, it's another kind of watermarks, enforce the watermarks function.
and allow users to modify every setting
like how many borders, the color of the borders, the transparency, inside or outside the image
and export size is "border + photo = a fix width or height " or "border + photo = a fix width or height plus the border"

And there is no end to the complexity of borders. This is an ideal third party solution IMO.

It would be better if you could share us the detailed error message in English.
Do you mean that you could run your test in your build agent machine? If so, I doubt that it would be related to the TFS build. I mean that maybe it is not the test issue.
Please share the detailed error in English, and then post this issue to the TFS-build forum would be better for this issue since it works well in build agent machine.

ER for topic: IR, safe/keep the view of the export HTML page like the IR is

Hello Dev-Team,
As Tobias has recommended I would like to ask you to open an ER for this case:
I would like to save (download) a somehow aggregated (controll group) IR as HTML to hand over it to a customer.
Is there any way to safe/keep the view of the export HTML page like the IR layout is?

Dowloading HTML page with picture like the IE save as function

I would like to download a HTML page entirely ( path, pictures... ) like the IE save as function.

It is.
However doing so will be a big task. You have to write a htmlparser (I did) which checks all possible options for writing html. I based mine on the w3c standard for html 4.01. Takes a while till you get through everything. Don't ask me for it, I'm in the middle of an update to make it sure it has a bit of a descent structure.
Then you must know all attributes which can possibly contain a link to an image. Find out if this link is not an url with a protocol. Also find out if the link is not something like a cgi. And so on for more options.
You can look on the net for some parser but I didn't find one. There is of course Html Tidy but this one reads the htmlcode and makes a valid html document from it which is almost never the same as you wanted it to be. For crappy html code this can result in the removal of a lot of your elements.

I have a website done using CS3. Can I create galleries with CS6 like the one I do using CS3?

I have tried to use CS6 to create galleries like the on CS3 can create to update my website but I cannot reproduce what I do in CS3 can somebody help me?

The answer is maybe. I do not know if you can on a Mac I know MAC is 64 Bit only and the was no 64bit Picture Package Plug-in for the Mac CS5. I do not know about Mac Web Photo Gallery.
If your using windows and have the perpetual version of CS6 version 13.0.1.2 for windows you can install the CS5 optional plug-ins for Photoshop into that version of CS6. Web Photo Gallery (WebContactSheetII) plug-in will function if you install the necessary files. However if your a subscriber to CC some plug-in support has been removed from CS6 version 13.1.2 and CC. A Feature that old plug-ins like Web Photo Gallery and Picture Package used is no longer available in Photoshop.
Adobe did add a poorer web gallery feature into the Bridge's output module but the new galleries can not be customized as well as Photoshop old Web Photo Gallery can be customized..

Export with Watermark

Is the Slideshow or Print Module the only way to export an image with a watermark and exif information Images are imported in RAW. Thank you.

Watermarking is available in regular Export in LR3. For other metadata, check the Mogrify PlugIn.

PDF export with menus auto open

Is there a way to export a PDF for a client so that when they click on your PDF, a certain PDF menu opens automatically with it (like the 3D model tree)?
Or the layers fly out side menu?
Or to have certain tools open across the top?

Adobe Acrobat has been designed in a manner where all the tools and buttons are customized to perform certain functionalities when selected.
So, please tell me what exact menu do you want to appear automatically?
What version of Acrobat are you using?

Export with formatting

How would we export pdf with formatting. Basically we save the data and use it to show the pdf later. We are missing the formatting while we do so.

With AA XI, there are options to make the export look much like the PDF versus retain formatting as well as Acrobat can determine the format. From what I have seen, AA XI has done the best yet of any AA version. It gets better if the PDF was made with the tagging that comes with PDF Maker in OFFICE and such. That tagging contains information about the formatting of the original file. So a lot depends on how the PDF was made. Other than that, the best you can do is to try the various options with the export to the other file types to see what works best. Do not expect perfection -- the export was never a major goal of a PDF that is supposed to be a final form.

Don't like the update. There is a solution.

Call verizon. Have them forward you to motorola help line. Talk with someone that barely speaks english. (I'd bet their spanish isn't much better.)
Tell them your having issues with it. You don't like it and want the older version back.They will tell you they don't have a way to revert to the older version. They used to but not anymore.
Tell them you don't care. Tell your boss who tells their boss and all the up the chain until it gets the the developer. WE DON'T IKE IT!
They may try to have you troubleshoot the phone.
I don't want it troubleshooted. I want the old version back.
Eventually they may suggest or you can cut to the chase and tell them to send you a different phone with the older version.
They will tell you they can't guarantee it will be an older version but they will send a new phone. It should arrive within 2-3 business days.
Then you will have 5 days to return the other phone.
Not a problem. You can just keep sending phones until I eventually receive one with an older version.
I think as much as I persisted they will make sure I receive an older version. I also don't think they go through their inventory updating phones sitting in boxes just fun of it.

A new update on status of my phone with 4.1.2 version of android system.
At 1st I was having trouble keeping a good connection with a buddy while talking to him on his phone. I thought is was his phone as he usually dropped a few calls here and there. I dropped a few as well but between the both of us it was maybe once a day.
So I noticed that since I had the older version back I thought about it and between the both of us we lost signal more than the usual. I went into my settings and turn on the notification for when my signal was lost.
I had noticed it was me loosing signal more than the normal. Even inside cities.
A few weeks later I tried to tether the computer to the phone. Then after turning off the computer and using the gps. I lost gps signal about every mile. For awhile I couldn't figure out why. However my wifi settings was turned off.
I later found that when turning on the tether mode. My wifi turned off.
I used to be able to have both on at the same time.
Some places I would go to would have free wifi. I would use the wifi on my computer through my phone as my Phone would get better signal. Not anymore
My phone freezes from time to time and lags a bit. When doing just about anything. Changing apps, using the internet, even just going back to home screen.
Another week or 2 difference, after I kept getting this notification about using up my data limit. At 1st I didn't think anything of it. I just thought I was using a lot this month.
During the 1st week of my new bill this month. I checked what apps were using up the data.
I noticed one of the little android icons was using up a more data usage of all the other apps combined. I'm on the internet a lot with work.
Some of these issues I can deal with . Like the lagging, screen freezing and such.
It sure beat the new update.
This may be the way verizon is forcing those to update to the new crappy update. That no one wants. However forcing everyone to get.

Cannot export a panel into adobe cs5 plugin/panels

Anyway if you work on a windows system ,are you sure you run Configurator 2 as an administrator ( right click on Adobe Configurator 2 program icon > run as administrator) in order to export your panel to the cs5 plugins/ panels folder ?

Jerky videos after exporting with this checkbox checked

Whenever (well, not always, but usually) I select the "Match Sequence Settings" and export, which seems like the perfect thing to do, the resulting video file is very jerky. It is super noticable. What gives? Why does this happen? Why is exporting video such a terrible chore full of pitfalls and bugs and confusion?

Sorting artists like "The Cure" under C(ure) instead of T(he)

All,
still new to this forum (and to my Xperia Z2), tried search but could not find anything related.
In the WALKMAN app on my Xperia Z2 the first letter of artist name is used so that I get a pretty long section of bands starting with T like The Cure, The Cult, The Kooks, The Police, The Rolling Stones, The Smiths, The Strokes, ...
Now I am used to artists sorting based upon the artist's name neglecting words like "The" so that e.g. The Cure would be found under C instead of T, The Smiths under S and so on (yes this is iTunes style, and actually I like it).
Any option I haven't found yet? What's your opinion on this?

Issues with export with upgrade to 3.3

I am experiencing issues with export with 3.3
The image looks great in the Browser after editing. However when I checked the export folder I discovered corrupt files.
I only dicovered it because I tried to email one of the images.
2 out of 200 the blacks had solarized meaning all blacks went to white.
Never had this problem before in any of my Aperture Versions since day one.
The bottom line problem how can trust that the images are ok on export whitout having to look at every single export later.
This is embarissing since I had already delivered a project not knowing there were bad files.
Additionally images do not seem to be as sharp before the upgrade. I am using Nikon 300 and Nikon 7000 with San Disk Cards.
Do I have to do some camera profiling ?

Have you checked the Color Profile setting in the export preset you are using?
I found my Color Profile settings switched to different settings after the upgrade.
Try the Generic RGB profile.

Export images from library module with borders

Lightroom has been a great help for organizing my images and preparing them for photo competitions, but it would be a lot more convenient if I had an option to add a border to some of my exported images. Many competition judges demote images that have black content on the edges unless we add narrow (2 or 3 pixel) borders to the images. You already do this for slideshow mode; the same feature in Library export would really be appreciated. As it is, I have to export tiff files, then use a Photoshop action to prepare the bordered competition jpegs.

You can create a border in photo shop. You need to create it with a transparent background. Add it to the picture in the print mode as a watermark. Check the watermarking options and you will be able to create a preset. Choose your border in image options. Your border file can also have text etc.
You could also use photo-Edit in- to go to photoshop. Edit a copy. Ctrl J - a new layer. Add a layer style - Stroke - choose position "inside" and exactly how many pixels you want. Hope that is descriptive enough. sounds like you probably know more about photoshop than I do. I'm not familiar with a photoshop action

In Firefox 3.6 and later on Windows you can hide the menu bar via "View > Toolbars" or via the right click context menu on a toolbar.
Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the menu bar temporarily.
Go to "View > Toolbars" or right-click the menu bar or press Alt+V T to select which toolbars to show or hide (click on an entry to toggle the state).
