Export wizard, save/load settings

Hello,
It is request for enhancment.
I consider for usefull feature to be able save/load settings during export wizard.
Or is there any other way to repeat same export (schema/data) in sql developer.
Regards,
Martin Choma

Yes you can do that.
Apply all the filters you want on a clip and bring the filter list up in the filter tab in the viewer.
Make a new bin in the Browser and name it whatever you want.
Shift select to select all those filters in the filter tab in the viewer and drag them to that bin you just made.
Then drop that bin on a clip in the timeline to apply them all. Just watch the order they are applied because they might change the look a bit.

  • Import/Export Wizard is a bulk operation?

If I use import/export wizard to load data from a file to a table will it do it as a bulk operation and will be minimally logged when using bulk logged recovery mode?
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms191244(v=sql.105).aspx

Yes. The Import Export wizard creates a SSIS package on the backend which will have default transfer option as below
This is same as BULK INSERT and so it would be minimally logged in case of BULK recovery mode.

  • File Export use last usage settings of File Export Wizard

how convert a color photo to grayscale? cs6 fireworks / adobe cloud,...    File > Export use last usage settings of File > Export Wizard???

There are a lot of different ways to create greyscale images. Here are three methods:
Select the bitmap and choose Commands > Creative > Convert to Grayscale.
This is a quick but destructive method, meaning that it modifies your original image. To preserve your original image, you could first make a copy using the Edit > Clone command.
Select the bitmap and apply a Hue/Saturation effect.
This effect can be found in the Properties panel within the Filters menu, under Adjust Color. Set Saturation to -100.
Select the bitmap and apply the Convert to Alpha effect.
This effect can be found in the Properties panel within the Filters menu, under Other. Set the document canvas to White.
At least one of these should work for you.

  • Muse Not Exporting Images/ Inconsistent Loading

Here is a folder containing all files for my project:
    https://www.dropbox.com/sh/w87ewtlfj9pcnzs/DnUB8_qJHe
Up until yesterday my whole project was all working great, no problems. Now it doesn't matter whether I preview, export, or save, Muse will just not load some assets. It's very inconsistent, as sometimes it will load a certain asset but after refreshing it won't show up anymore. The only one that has consistently not worked is the water animation at the bottom of the page, but, as I mentioned, it was working perfectly just a few days ago with no change. I was just about ready to publish this before it happened, so the timing couldn't be worse. Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Hi uphotos!
Your Muse file is giving 12 warnings that you have not exported Edge Animate oam-files to the pages. Check that you have added (exported) only oam-files to the pages from Edge Animate App!

  • SQL Server Import and Export Wizard Issue

i am trying to export SQL data into excel to send out weekly reports.  I have created a view and a SQL account has access to this view; however, I am unable to successfully export the data.  In preview I see all of the data yet it fails on the
Pre-execute with the below.  It creates the excel file with just the header.  I am using SQL 2014 and loaded the 64 bit AccessDatabaseengine.  I am selecting excel 2007.  Any ideas welcome.

    Hi astro,
Please ensure that you haven’t renamed or moved the destination excel file during the exporting process. Also make sure that “Create destination table” option is checked as below screenshot and the SQL statement is correct.

  • QuickTimePro - Export vs Save - Different File sizes

    Hi,
with the trim to selection command I selected a bigger part of an AVI-video (Video track format: MPEG-4 DivX v.5 + Audio: Mpeg-1 layer 3 (mp3)).
Although I did not change the video or audio settings I got different file sizes:
The exported video has double the size than the saved file.
    Therfore my questions:
    What is the reason?
What should I prefer - export or save - trying to get smaller files with the same quality?
Thanks for a tip.Greetings from the heart of Germany
    Herbert

    HI mrfibuli
I think you are seeing a general housecleaning of things that
were formerly in your library. For example, lets say you took a
fairly large project. Perhaps 80 slides. Then you delete 60 slides.
This would leave many items in the library. They would be there,
but be unused. So you save as, and after a couple of times of doing
this, the unused objects are purged from the file. This is why you
are seeing a difference in size.
    Sincerely... Rick

  • Extremely slow Export and Save to Web

I have an AI file with 40 artboards, each containing a separate image composed of reused vector symbols. I regularly need to adjuste the shared elements of these images, which I then export to PNG and finalize in Photoshop.  It seems the most efficient way to work, since I can update all the images at once easily.  However, it takes an ridiculously long time to Export these images (or Save to Web) into PNG files.  A full Export can take upwards of 4 hours.  Save to Web is much faster, but it can still take up to 40 minutes.
I'm running CS5 on a Intel Core Duo 2.8GHz, which can cope with most Ps and Illy operations comfortably.  So why am I getting such terrible performance when it comes to Exporting?  How can I fix this issue?
I am also open to suggestions to modification of my work flow.  As I said, the AI file contains one artwork per artboard, composed mostly of symbols shared across the file.  I then export each artboard to be processed in Photoshop.  The Ps processing is fairly simple: I just plug the files into a smart object layer, apply some glow effects, and then crop and overlay it on top of a pretty background, before exporting into final PNG file for actual use.  It's all done fairly painlessly through a user-defined batch Action.  But perhaps there's a way to skip the Photoshop altogether?  The actual processing isn't so sophisticated that it would require Photoshop.
    TIA

Thanks for the info.  I've never took the time to learn the script yet, so I'll go with a simpler solution.
I changed my workflow so that I'm now exporting to PDF instead of PNG's.  I then import the PDF into Photoshop for the finalization.  There were a few problems with this, though.  Firstly, Photoshop's Action recorder does not record the page number of the PDF in a Smart Object Replace Content action.  I actually had to export the action file, hex edit the file, and then re-load the action to get it to work properly.  Is this a known bug?
Secondly, I don't want my primary work AI file to be PDF compatible, since it makes the file several times larger and much slower to save/load.  However, AI's action recorder does not record that I want to "Save a Copy" with a .pdf extension -- it saves directly onto my primary file.  Is there a way to correct this?
It still takes a long time for Photoshop to import and process the images from the PDF.  But since this workflow won't block off AI for hours, it's something I can better live with.

  • Is there a way to save Publish Settings?

I had a machine crash. My data files and LRCAT are stored on a separate drive so after reloading all the software I just pointed to my current LRCat.  I found out that the publish settings are not stored in the catalog (seems like a smart place to keep them).
Is there any way to save these settings?  Or other settings like import/export user settings and the like?
    Thanks

Publish settings are stored in preferences (.agprefs file).
Export presets are stored in .lrtemplate files.
Both are in subfolders of Lightroom "app data" folder.
Consider running Aux Backup for a complete list of all auxiliary Lr files (includes all critical data files except catalog and photos).

  • Kate does not save my settings

    Hi,
I can't get Kate to save my settings.
I open kate tell it to load all plugins and extensions and they all work. But when I  quit Kate and return to it i have to go and reload them all again.
    How can this be solved?
    Thanks.

    same problem here
    EDIT: Found a fix
    1) Open up kate and configure your settings (plugins, etc...)
    2) Go to Session -> Save as Default
    3) Go to Settings -> Configure Kate > Application -> Session
    4) CHECK Load-last used sections under Behavior of Application Startup

  • Import/Export vs. Load/SaveData

I am trying to figure out the difference between Import and Export Data and Save/LoadData. I notice that Import export allows me to choose a file name each time I Export it, and Load/Save just lets me complete the action without the additional naming
step. But what is the difference between these two functions? Can I use them interchangeably for the same file?

    Links to function reference:
    SaveData:http://siena.blob.core.windows.net/beta/ProjectSienaBetaFunctionReference.html#_Toc373745522
    LoadData:http://siena.blob.core.windows.net/beta/ProjectSienaBetaFunctionReference.html#_Toc373745500
As called out in the reference, SaveData saves the data (after encryption) from the collection to the specified file, located in the app's own protected space. This saved file cannot be used in other apps. On the other hand, data exported using the Export
control can be saved (without encryption) anywhere on your machine (you select the location using the File Explorer) and you can use it across apps.

  • Quicktime Conversion - Save previous settings?

On several of our Final Cut systems - When we export using quicktime conversion and then close out of Quicktime, it defaults back to H.264 and mono audio. Any easy way to get the system to save certain settings?
    Thanks!

I'd also suggest you look carefully at your workflow construction. I don't know your needs or why you've ended up with your processes, they may suit your situation perfectly.
If your shop is anything like mine, ad hoc processes tend to become standard operating procedures because no one has bothered to evaluate it objectively. Worse, in my shop, out old ways of doing things fail to get updated when technologies change.
Example: Exchanging video clips with my partner used to be done by logging onto his computer over the network and dropping files into his drop box. What we do now is export out of FCP to server and then go pick them up from the server. Thsi does two things. It deliberately slows things down so fewer mistakes are made and it leaves a copy of the file on the server so anyone can find it later.

  • Gif export time saver?

    Hi,
I would like to use fireworks within a (semi) automatic
    workflow.
I will need to export to 3 different canvas sizes.
For example: start off with an image eg. 1024 x 1024 psd.
    Resize without distorting the image:
    640 x 640 Square
    640 x 480 Landscpe
    480 x 640 Portrait
I understand some cropping will be unavoidable.
Also create a duplicate with a image overlay for a gif
    watermark.
Save the gif in three different folders: Square, Landscape,
    Portrait.
I like the export wizard but sadly t does not show up in the
history which means I can't "save as command".
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
    Thank you

    Hello -
I have seen that Level 0 export should not be that bad (2-3hours max) for an 80gb database when -
    1) You run the process when not much going on the server (other calcs etc)
    and
    2) You run parallel export of the same database with multiple threads
RegardsThanks for your experience sharing. 80GB export requires 3 hours is not bad. I heard that there are another case that requires 20 hours for 20GB database. Maybe there are some hardware or disk configuration difference.
What is the hardware configuration for your 80GB database level 0 export?

How can I save the settings of my iPhone 4 before resetting the phone in addition to saving the apps etc. by synchronisation with i-tunes

All the phone settings are save in the backup which is automatically created when you sync the phone.

Please clarify what you mean by "resetting" the phone. When you reset the phone, no data is deleted.  Do you actually mean Restore the phone?  See the User Guide, Appendix B for the correct terminology,

    Smash126

    Hi Smash126,
Based on the error message” Could not allocate a new page for database REPORTING' because of insufficient disk space in filegroup 'PRIMARY'. Create the necessary space by dropping objects in the filegroup, adding additional files to the filegroup, or setting
autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup”, we can know that the issue is caused by the there is no sufficient disk space in filegroup 'PRIMARY' for the ‘REPORTING’ database.
To fix this issue, we can add additional files to the filegroup by add a new file to the PRIMARY filegroup on Files page, or setting Autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup to increase the necessary space.
