Exported images have extra noise that looks like stars
Hello all, I don't know what Ive done but since I upgraded to Lightroom 5 I have a problem. I use it for images of the sky but now when I export, Ive tried tiff, jpeg and PSD, there is a great deal of noise that looks like thousands of extra stars and ruins the images. The images look great in Lightroom but not when I export. Can anyone offer some advice please. I'm struggling. Geoff
Are you sure to optimize your detail settings while zoomed into the image at 1:1?

Peter RowanHi John, I'm guessing that icon is created and updated by an extension. I'm not sure which one, though. Maybe something that is tracking the trackers, like Lightbeam? Have you tried hovering your mouse over the icon to see whether a tooltip appears, or clicking it?

I think I have a virus that looks like Adobe
So my computer had a message this morning saying to update Adobe Active X
I also got "McAfee anti virus" on my computer for free. I am in an instant chat with them and they say that its fake and that they do not do that, so either this Adobe Active X update or whatever is also fake or somehow Adobe is piggy backing a "virus" with their stuff. I need help quick before I do anymore.
Now on the bad me side. I watch project free TV and it said that I needed to update my Adobe Active X, which was done by me. In the add remove programs it reads Adobe Systems Incorporated as the publisher, and I want to know if that is you? Please let me know, I wish you had system instant chat like McAfeeYou need to be clear with product names; there is no such thing as Adobe ActiveX, but there is Adobe Flash Player ActiveX.
If you are unsure if you are offered the genuine product, go to the Adobe website and explicitly download the specific update. -
I UPDATED MY IPHONE 4 AND NOW IT WILL NOT TURN ON. ALL IGET IS THE ITUNES LOGO AND AN IMAGE THAT LOOKS LIKE THE CHARGER PLUG.

I can play the music on my itunes under my purchased section but when I go to my phone when I have it connected the a lot of the songs won't play on my song or from the itunes under my phone. They have a little icon to the left of them that looks like a repeat icon. It won't let me delete them from there nor play them. When on my phone only it won't play them it just brings up the clip art but will not play. Please can anyone help me.

How do I restore my Ipad 4 from my desktop computer? My charger was damaged so I bought a new one but it won't charge. On my Ipad, I have a BATTERY bar in the middle that is flashing RED and an icon on the bottom that looks like the end of a charger. I have tried to force into reset mode, by holding the sleep key and home button SEVERAL times but it does NOT work. I have plugged my Ipad into my desktop computer, but I do not have a screen on my desktop that is coming up. THIS HAPPENED BEFORE AFTER I DID AN UPDATE AND WAS LOCKED OUT AND I USED EITHER ICLOUD OR ITUNES TO RESTORE, NOT SURE WHICH AND I FORGOT HOW.

Try a Reset of the Phone... You will Not Lose Any Data...
Turn the Phone Off...
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
The Apple logo will Appear and then Disappear...
Usually takes about 10 - 15 Seconds...
Turn the Phone On...

I'm presuming my old iPod id dead meat, but after 24 charging a get the Apple Logo followed by an image that looks like a file folder with an exclamation point. Is there anyway we can resurrect all trhe music on it & transfer into a new iPod?
You can try putting it into Disk Mode

If that works, you can see if the computer will recognize it when connected, either in iTunes or by the system.
NOTE: You can also try putting it into Disk Mode WHILE it is already connected to the computer.
If the iPod is recognized, you may be able to use one of the third-party methods or utilities to transfer song files from iPod to computer. You can do a Google search on something like "ipod transfer" to get some links (add "mac" to the search if your computer is a Mac).
Once the song files are on your computer, add them to that computer's iTunes library, then sync it to the new iPod. -
I have a symbol in the upper right hand corner of my iPad that looks like a lock. Now I am unable to connect to wifi.
Does anyone know how to fix this?If you see a lock icon in the upper right corner of the screen - then the screen orientation is locked.
Try the side switch above the volume rocker first and see if that unlocks the screen. If that doesn't do it, double tap the home button and swipe to the right and look for the lock icon all the way to the left.
If the screen is unlocked but still will not rotate, reset the iPad.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the button
For the WiFi issue try Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. You can also power cycle your router, Unplug it for about 30 seconds and then plug it back in. -

ok, so my itouch 2nd gen starts up only to the apple logo but stops there with the loading thing that looks like a flower. it doesnt connect to my laptop either. it got unplugged while trying to restore it on my laptop and now its not rly working. any help? i alredy tried holding both buttons down like more than 100 times and it still doesnt work. so any solutions?

im having trouble with my email. usually i drag emails i want saved to various folders. recently, some of the folders have changed their appearance - looking like a camera body, and less like a folder. these icons seemed to be locked as well, so i can no longer open those folders. help please?

It could be as simple as clipping an image of the fabric of your choice, to a text layer.
In this example the Hessian texture was downloaded from Google images, and placed over a Type layer. You then Alt (Opt) click the intersection of the Type and Hessian layer to clip them together. This just means that only the shape of the underlying layer will show in the clipped layer. -
