What options are available to export SMS text messages and call logs from the Treo 680? I need to create hard copys for evedence in a court case. I back-up files to the Palm Desktop on a Mac OS-X.
I have searched through the Palm guide, but no discussion on extracting the SMS data. I understand that the sms messages are in the file "Messages Database.pdb" and the call log is in "PhoneCallDB.pdb", question is how to extract the records.

I have exactly the same problem as David Ting. I just bought a brand new iPhone 4 and just want to do the same thing that I did when moved from Symbian to Windows Mobile and from Windows Mobile to Android: import my old SMS messages and call history to my new device.
It's a _complete nonsense_ to be incapable of doing a so simple thing in iOS.
I'm really shocked with this impossibility. I'm starting to think that I just did a very wrong move choosing Apple.

Try "CallWave". It is a widget that allows you to get you voicemail and text messages on you computer. It overrides the current inbox and voicemail so I'm not using it until I download an existing voicemail but after that I plan on it.

Je ne voix pas en quoi cela peut résoudre mon problème en effet, si je prends pas exemple le fait que de mettre en route mon système 10 fois commence à le faire ramer. Si je rafraichis moins, je vais perdre en précision et au bout de 30 cycles j'aurais toujours ce même. Sorry my bad here, for Contacts have you used the Nokia Suite to sync. contacts? Do you use Outlook on your PC? If so, then it will sync your contacts to your PC then you can use WMDC (if using Vista or Win7) or Activesync(if using XP) to sync your contacts to your device.

I bet he means entirely blank lines -- two returns in a row.
This has nothing to do with InDesign, it's just one of those things that's Not Supported by the ePub format, which is a poor man's HTML version.
(In real world HTML, the traditional way of forcing blank lines was to put a single non-breaking space on that blank line. Don't know if that works for ePub in general, or some ePub viewers. Just adjust the CSS, will you.)

How to export sms database?

I'm moving from a iPhone 4 (6.1) to a android (nexus 4) and I want to keep my sms on my new phone
I've tried to convert the sms database file from backup to the correct format on online convertion sites like http://faked.org/isms2droid/ and http://insend.de/index.php and all I got was a error message saying that the file I'm trying to convert does not contain the database.
Can anybody help please?

Well, obviously, you will have to have a target database in which you’re planning to import the schema that you’ve backed up from the PROD database.
If the database that you are referring to as DEV already exists, just create a schema (new Oracle user) with the same name as the schema name that you’ve imported from the PROD database. Keep in mid that you will have to grant appropriate privileges to this new schema owner as well as ensure that the default tablespace is large enough to hold the imported objects. Let me know if you have specific questions.

Exporter flash vers gif animé - Quel méthode pour un rendu correct ?

Bonjour,
Je cherche à simplifier mes exports d'animation fait sous Flash en gif animé.
Pour l'instant pour obtenir un rendu correct (et avec la CS6)
J'exportais en vidéo .avi puis sous Photoshop "importation vidéo dans des calques" ce qui me permettait ensuite d'exporter en gif animé avec une compression et des couleurs parfaites.
Mais c'est super fastidieux et désormais Flash CC n'autorise pas l'export en .avi, et le .mov exporté ne s'importe pas sous Photoshop...
Il doit bien y avoir une méthode d'exporter correctement en gif animé. Peut-être que c'est simplement que je n'utilise pas bien la fonction "exporter l'animation" qui me produit des gifs animés aux couleurs catastrophiques et à des tailles énormes.
Quelle est la bonne technique rapide et performante que vous utilisez ?

[Edit 16h27 :] Je viens d'essayer en exportant une sequence .png -> puis transfert par photoshop : bon poids (478ko pour une image 275x173px avec 500images à 25i/s) mais le lissage de la transparence foire
J'en ai aussi profité pour tester le "Adobe Media encoder" avec cette même séquence .png, puisque 'il n'accepte pas les .swf et qu'il ne reconnait pas les .mov créé par Flash (vive la compatibilité), résultat niquel, transparence niquel, poids... euh 6,96Mo. Ah. Passons la qualité de 100 à 25 -> poids 6,96Mo. Pfffff...
[Edit 23h :] Back to CS6 et à l'ancienne méthode... Tant pis.

Aggregate storage data export failed - Ver 9.3.1

Hi everyone,
We have two production server; Server1 (App/DB/Shared Services Server), Server2 (Anaytics). I am trying to automate couple of our cubes using Win Batch Scripting and MaxL. I can export the data within EAS successfully but when I use the following command in a MaxL Editor, it gives the following error.
Here's the MaxL I used, which I am pretty sure that it is correct.

This error was due to incorrect SSL settings for our shared services.

Export illustrator vers Flash

Bonjour à tous,
J'aimerai trouver un moyen de nettoyer mes librairies flash de tout "clip" créé par Illustrator. Je m'explique :
Je suis développeuse flash. Le graphiste bosse sous Illustrator. Il utilise notamment de la "transparence", c'est à dire qu'il applique à certains calques, une opacité inférieure à 100%.
Lorsque j'importe le fichier ai sous Flash, j'obtiens dans la librairie flash plein de dossiers et surtout un clip pour chaque zone avec opacité inférieure à 100%. Tous ces clips alourdissent le fichier .fla. Ma solution actuelle, consiste à reprendre le contenu de chaque clip et d'appliquer moi même l'opacité choisie par le graphiste. Ce qui vous le comprendrez est fastidieux et fait perdre du temps précieux.
Evidemment, aucun compromis possible : les graphismes doivent rester en vectoriel, donc pas de bitmap possible, et le graphiste ne veut travailler que sur Illustrator.
J'ai donc cherché différentes options d'exportation sous Illustrator ou d'importation sous Flash mais je ne parviens pas à obtenir ce que je souhaite, c'est à dire faire en sorte que les opacités d'Illustrator ne soient pas transformées en clip sous Flash.
Auriez-vous une idée de paramétrages ?
J'ai aussi pensé à un script JSFL qui pourrait peut-être automatisé le traitement que je fais à la main, mais je ne le maîtrise pas suffisamment pour savoir si cela est faisable.

J'ai trouvé une solution ...
Du coup, je la donne pour ceux qui serait dans le même souci que moi.
Le "problème" vient quand les graphistes appliquent une opacité générale sur un élément. Si à la place, ils appliquent un dégradé contenant une opacité, Flash ne crée pas de clip à l'importation. Il suffit donc au lieu d'appliquer une opacité générale, de créer un dégradé avec 2 couleurs identiques avec l'opacité nécessaire. Une fois le graphisme cleané, à l'import il n'y a plus rien dans la bibliothèque flash !
C'est une petite habitude que devront prendre les graphistes mais voilà du temps de gagné et des librairies plus propres et plus légères !
