Exporting a template with multiple images

Let's assume I want to have a large print made at an outside commecial lab because my printer does not handle the size.
In the Print Module, is there a way to export a template with multiple images so that it can be sent to an outside lab for printing?
Or, is this not possible and I would have to design the template in Photoshop and send the file to the lab?
If Lightroom is not yet capable of this, it certainly seems like a worthwhile feature.

Thanks for sticking with this thread to help me.
I am on Windows and I do have PDF capability, the full Adobe Acrobat Professional.
I have been experimenting with your suggestions and, yes, saving it as a PDF and bringing it into Photoshop is a workaround. The images and Identity plate come into Photoshop as they appear in the template in Lightroom.
What doesn't appear in Photoshop is the whitespace(margins)around the images. They appear in the PDF, but they don't appear when I open the PDF in Photoshop. Is there a setting I'm overlooking in the PDF settings dialog that will correct this? Or, is this just the way importing a PDF works when it comes to margins? Must I always go to Image/Canvas size to get the canvas I want? Is there a way of not having to do this?

    Then I exported this template to the FIM Portal server, in the "Email Template" administration section on the Portal.
    Where must I put the image to allow FIM to link it? Which attribute have I to modify with the correct path (src?)? And how?
    Can you provide me some examples of the correct form of the path attribute?
    Thank u very much.
    Francesca

    The problem with using "cid" for embedded images is that the email message needs to be formatted differently. You don't have control over the header, mime type and other aspects that need to be defined to include and reference a "cid image" in the message
    body.
    First, the message header will need to have the following fields:
    From: [email protected]
    To: [email protected]
    Subject: Test example
    Mime-Version: 1.0
    Content-Type: multipart/related; boundary="boundary-name"; type="text/html"
    The "boundary" is what separates the content of the message to form the "multipart/related" pieces.
    The message body then has boundary markers and additional content headers to define the individual pieces:
    --boundary-name
    Content-Type: text/html; charset="US-ASCII"
    This is an HTML document, which contains a URI
    referencing a resource in another body part, for example
    through a statement such as:
    <img src="cid:myImage" ALT="Big Smiles">
    --boundary-name
    Content-Location: CID:blahblah ; this header is not used
    Content-ID: <myImage>
    Content-Type: image/jpeg
    Content-Transfer-Encoding: BASE64

    The HTML references the embedded content-id via the special "cid" URI. This is the same method used for email attachments. Using the "cid" allows an attachment to be rendered as content in the body of the email.
    Since this would already require you to know the underlying mime type of the image, you already need to have the image data converted to Base64 encoding, and you don't have any control over the headers of an email template in FIM... you would need to write
    your own email activity and not use the out-of-the-box FIM activities. The other method of getting an email to embed an image is to use the special "data:mime-type" URI in the src attribute of an img tag:
    The same image shown above can be placed inline like so:

  • Excel Template with Multiple Sheets

    Hi everyone,
    I need to build Excel template with multiple sheets where each sheet should have at-least one chart.
    Thanks
    Aravind

    Hi
    Could you please explain those ways here.?
    Many Thanks,
    BK

  • I am having a problem when i open a new tab with multiple images. If there is more than five or six images they won't all open.

    I open emails with multiple images. The new version is having a problem opening a tab with more than maybe 6 or 7 images. Older versions sometimes had the same problem but the unopened images appeared on the page as a small blank box that you could try to reload. Not anymore. Now you have to reload the whole tab. Sometimes this works other times it doesn't.

    You seem to be using a beta version. Maybe go back to a regular release and wait for V. 30 to become a regular release, and maybe whatever bug it is will be fixed.

  • Creating a simple Template for multiple images

    Hello,
    I work for an online company, and we deal with displaying multiple images on our site.  I've been just cropping sets and just droping them in a file and organizing them that way, but I was wondering if there is a faster way of doing this in Photoshop with Templates maybe? but it needs to be easier and faster than the process I'm using now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    When I read what you have written "we deal with displaying multiple images on our site.  I've been just cropping sets and just droping them in a file and organizing them that way, but I was wondering if there is a faster way of doing this in Photoshop with Templates maybe?" I don't comprehend what your doing now.   Photoshop is not a file editor however it can create files that have more then one image. Perhaps you could describe what you want to do.  What is a set, what is in the set, how many images in a set is that number always the same how do you want to crop do you have some layout in mind some size requirement?

  • Exporting a QT with multiple channels?

    Curious... Am I able to export / create a QT file with multiple audio channels embedded?
    I've a project with multiple tracks of audio. Now, of course, I know how to "pan" a track left / right to create a project with discrete tracks.
    But, what if I have multiple tracks (vo, sfx, and STEREO audio.) Is there a way to create QuickTime file (exported from FCPX) with MORE than TWO audio tracks? For example, can I create a file with mono'd VO on one track... mono'd SFX on another... THEN... stereo music on two separate tracks? (for a total of four tracks.)
    Please advise, and thanks.

    dastoelk wrote:
    Luis, many thanx!!!! You mind posting a quick screen shot showing the setting for "Roles as Multitrack Quicktime Movie?" Again... awesome!
    No problem!
    Here it is. Note that you can create as many audio tracks as you want, and they can each correspond to one or more roles (or sub-roles).
    In the example, three audio tracks will be created, one each for Dialogue, Music, Effects; but you can do any combination of roles and/or sub-roles as you please.

  • Lightbox with multiple images attached to one thumbnail?

    Is it possible to have one thumbnail allow you to scroll through multiple images without having to click on another thumbnail?
    For example,  lets say that I have three projects with 10 images per project.  I only want to have three thumbnails which will allow the user to see each project by clicking on it's "master" thumbnail.
    Thanks.

    If your intent is to have a single thumbnail (image) that your visitors click and it launches a Lightroom with Slideshow, you can try the following.
    The gist :
    Insert Slideshow Widget into target of Composition Widget
    The details :
    01. Drag & drop the Lightroom Display Composition Widget onto your design surface.
    02. Drag & drop a Slideshow Widget into (this is the important bit) the Target of the Lightroom Display Composition Widget
    The Target is the large area of the Composition Widget
    The Target is what appears as a light box when you click on the Trigger (the smaller boxes)
    03. Add your thumbnail image to the Trigger of the Lightroom Display Composition Widget (the smaller boxes)
    Style it :
    You're now ready, style your widgets and replace the images of the Slideshow Widget and you'll have the effect you're looking for.
    Very crude example :

  • Export to Quicktime with multiple Audio Tracks?

    Hi all --
    I am on a tight deadline (48 hrs!) to deliver a Quicktime Prores file with 6 audio tracks: ch 1+2 dialog, ch 2+3 music&effects, ch 4+5 stereo mix. I'm working with FCP 6.
    Now, I have figured out how to export the FCP 6 project to a Quicktime file with multiple audio tracks (in the Project settings, I specify 3 stereo channels, then I assign each audio track to one of the channels and export everything to a Quicktime file).
    However, how can I send a stereo mix to channels 4+5?? FCP only allows me to assign each audio track one but not multiple output channels, and I didn't see a way where I could create a bus.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks!

    Something is being miscounted here. You say you have dialog on 1+2 and then say you have M&E on 2+3? I think you meant to say 3+4 and the stereo mix will be on 5+6. The easiest way to do this is to copy tracks 1-4 to tracks 5-8 by shift-option-dragging them there. Holding option will copy the tracks instead of moving them and holding shift will insure that the tracks will not move earlier or later. Then send 5+6 (dialog) to the 5+6 output (using the info in the above referenced discussion) and send 7+8 (music&effects) also to the 5+6 output. Done.

  • TIFF export date issue with 40D images

    Hi.
    I have a strange issue with Aperture 1.5.6, Leopard 10.5 and Canon 40D RAW images.
    The problem is this:
    1) Import a 40D RAW image in aperture.
    2) The exif image date is 13.11.07 20:21:10.
    3) Then edit the image in Adobe Photoshop CS3 (TIFF).
    4) Now we have two version of the image: the original RAW file and a TIFF file.
    5) Export the two images with aperture to JPEG files.
    Now the exif date/time of the image exported (RAW) is 13.11.07 20:21:10 and that's correct.
    The problem is that the time of the second image (TIFF) has exactly two more hour ( 13.11.07 22:21:10 ).
    In aperture the date/time is correct for both the images.
    Someone can please try to replicate this issue?

    Thanks for your reply.
    1. I select the photos from iPhoto - varied between 5 and 20 (ran different test)
    2. Click on FILE
    3. Select EXPORT
    4. Under the FILE EXPORT tab I have tried all the various options with no success
    5. KIND - I make sure they are JPEG files - I have tried the Original also which is actually JPEG files
    6. JPEG QUALITY - I have tried all 4 options from LOW to MAX
    7. SIZE - I tried all 4 size options from SMALL to FULL
    8. FILE NAME - I use filename
    9. Select EXPORT tab
    10. I export to the thumbdrive and I chcek and they are on the thumbdrive
    11. I also tried to EXPORT to the desktop and copy them to the thumbdrive
    I click on the photos on the exported images I placed on the thumb drive and they come up fine on PREVIEW on my MAC. No prroblem with the images until I try to use them on the plasma. I go back and use images from iPhoto 06 that I did not call up with the "08" program and they work fine.
    Hope that explains what I do. Thanks again

  • Help with multiple images

    I am new to Final Cut Express. I am trying to make a clip that has multiple images on the screen at one time. For instance one picture in each corner and then one in the middle that all have separate effects. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

    Welcome to the forum!
    You'll need to place each image that will be on-screen at the same time on it's own video track in the Timeline. So one image will be on V1, another on V2, another on V3 and so on. Once you have the images on the Timeline, start with the one on the highest track. Set the Canvas window to Image+Wireframe mode while the highest image is highlighted in the Timeline. Use the Wireframe to resize and position the image where you want it. Repeat for each image.

  • To use the concept of  using a template with multiple windows inside it.

    Good evening friends ..........
    I have a requirement from my client like this i need to make a smart form in that
    i need to display a template of kind like this
    it must have 1st row 1st column of height 35mm approx. ie which should have 5 rows height with
    no lines IE rows inside that column, and column width must be 4cm.
    and it has 2nd to 5th column of lengths 3cm each in the same row IE 1st row. and
    in 2nd row from 2nd to 5th column of lengths 3cm each. and
    in 3rd row from 2nd to 5th column of lengths 3cm each continue the same pattern till
    5th row and lastly .
    in 6th row i must have 1st 2nd columns with length 4 cm each
    this whole thing i must get i one template only.....................
    when i tried to search this in sap portal or any other documentations
    i got the concept of combining windows and template in one window......
    they are saying we can make a template with 2 or more windows inside it. which also
    contain one template each inside that windows
    so my 1st row 1st column has exactly same requirement as this only.
    IE using a template with 2 or more windows inside it with templates inside each
    window.
    can u please guide me how to try it out this one .......
    this i tried to depict in pictorial form and send u in my previous reply
    but it displayed in other way sorry for that.

    Give this a go...
    // form1.page1.cb::click - (JavaScript, client)
    if (this.rawValue == 1) {
      xfa.resolveNode("form1.page1.nf.ui.#numericEdit.border.fill.color").value = "255,255,0";
      form1.page1.nf.border.edge.color.value = "0,0,0";
    else {
      xfa.resolveNode("form1.page1.nf.ui.#numericEdit.border.fill.color").value = "255,255,255";
      form1.page1.nf.border.edge.color.value = "255,255,255";
    Don't forget to make your form a dynamic form.
