Exporting BOM out of a company

Forum,
I am wondering how best can I export BOMs out of a company. I would like to get these into excel so i can import them into another company via DTW.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Juan,
Like anything else, you can keep your BOM open and click on Excel link in toolbar above and export to Excel, Right?
But that form of layout may not be useful if you want to import again to another company. What you need is, take only those columns what you exported to excel and paste it into the DTW production BOM sample template. The DTW production BOM templates are available by default at - C:\Program Files\SAP\Data Transfer Workbench\Templates\Templates\Production\Bill of Materials and production orders at C:\Program Files\SAP\Data Transfer Workbench\Templates\Templates\Production\Production Orders.
Try out a few times to ensure you mapped you BOM columsn to the DTW BOM import template. One time effort and after that it becomes pretty mechanical.

So when I update the reference BOM, changes are reflected in all companies?

Dear
BOM is the Plant Level PP-Master data .It is not possible to create an BOM out side the company .Company code is an legal entity as per SAP Standard .
To create an BOM you should have Plant , BOM Usage , Material Code .All of them are deployed at Plant Level which is assinged to company code .

Exporting forms out of Adobe into a new provider

Is there something I should know about exporting Adobe forms out of Adobe and into a new forms service provider. I've tried to do it following the other providers instructions and it doesn't work. Are exporting forms out of Adobe not possible, being disabled, etc?

Exporting files out of LR3?

Has anyone had problems exporting files out of LR3? This was very simple in LR2. I receive orders via email, print them out, and then pull up the selected images 1 or 3 or 50 @ a time. LR3 is not exporting over 1 or 2 images and then it freezes up.

Reinstallation will not do anything except aggravate you.
Try:
1. Run Lr from a new user account.
2. Try not exporting to the external drive if you are. If you catalogue or photos are on the external drive, see if you can create a new catalogue containing this photos (import from the other catalogue) and try exporting from that one.
3. If it freezes get the Sample output from the process via Activity Monitor. If it crashes collect the crash log out of your Library.

Quicktime export failed - out of memory

After I managed to open AVCHD (MTS) movies with AE CS4 I just tried to export a 2 min movie. I export as H264 1280x720.
I keep getting this error "quicktime export failed - out of memory"
It also happend when using SD movies
I have 2GB ram and a dual core inter E6550.
Does anyone encountered such problem ?

Are you rendering and exporting using the render queue, or are you using the Export command in the File menu? You should almost always use the render queue.

One trial balance out of two company codes

Our clinet has two company codes in legacy system, now we are implimenting SAP.
In legacy system, company codes are combined into one overall trail balance. Once in SAP they will there be two separate LEu2019s. Will they be required to apply transfer pricing methodology for intercompany movements between themselves ?.
Please advise how to configure this?

If you have 2 Company Codes in ERP 6, that have the same controlling Area, FSV you can produce trial balances for more than one company code by activating the new GL.
It seems your client is new to SAP, therefore the new GL will be activated as standard. The standard transaction F.01 allows for a single trial balance for 2 company codes, that have the same CoA, Controlling Area and currency.

Import QTVR Files into Corel Painter 11 and export back out to QTVR?

I received a QTVR File and imported it successfully to corel painter 11 to paint some changes into the frames and I then wanted to export the frames (512 total) back to the QTVR format. Corl painter 11 allowed me to export files as QT, but I did lose the QTVR movie controller. When I tried to go to movie properties in QT pro Version 7 it does not allow me to change the movie properties back to QTVR movie controller. Anyone have any suggestions? I do need to be able to paint in the frames in a digital paint program and then export back out.

I am using CS3 After Effects and have been receiving this After Effects error: Quicktime export failed - Out of memory (-108). Can anyone help with this issue?
I am using a Mac Pro 6-Core Intel Xeon 2.66 GHz with 6 memory slots at 1GB DDR3 ECC at Speed 1333MHz.

Sounds like one of those many "old version of AE on new hardware" issues... You may need to fiddle with Rosetta or install it in teh first place, if you haven't already and you may also require a specific older version of Quicktime...

Yes, Go to File --> Export --> Export Report --> Under Format select TEXT & select the destination as "Disk file"(defaultly selected)
Give the proper details as per your requirement for "Characters per inch" & "Number of lines per page" & click on 'OK"
In "Choose Export file" window, select the destination folder & provide file name. click on "SAVE"

Your proposed solution sounds like a lot of unnecessary work. A simple STO can usually meet all business requriements for either intra- or inter-company stock transfers, without adding the complexity of a sales doc.
Why can't you use a standard 'U' Stock Transport order?

Check date is out of the company due date range

Hi,
I want to enter Incoming Payment for a Cheque given by customer with Due date of next year. I have created a new posting posting period for 2012 and their status is unlocked. When I enter the due date in Payment means for next year the system is showing the following message
"Internal error (-4001) occurred [Message 131-183]
Check date is out of the company due date range"
Iam using SAP 8.81 PL 06. Allow future posting is also enabled. Transactions for current Financial year can be done when the due date is before 31/12/11. My Fiscal year is from 01/01/2011 to 31/12/2011. It is only when I enter due date of 2012 that Iam given the error message
What could be the issue?
