Exporting correct dates from iPhoto '09

I have 3500 photos from a trip that were imported from iPhoto burned discs (I downloaded them on another Mac - also with iPhoto '09). The dates and times in iPhoto are correct. No problems there. But when exporting these photos either with "original" or "current" the only dates that the photos have in their metadata are from when they were brought into iPhoto on my machine. In fact, going into the "originals" folder hidden in the +iPhoto Library Package+ reveals the same problem when looking at those files' info.
After a call with Applecare it seems that I am SOL. I don't use iPhoto very often (I prefer to just work with the files within the Pictures folder) so I was not aware that iPhoto strips the metadata off of the files and then buries the info in the "package" separately. Apparently it can't access it again for export or copying purposes.
SO, is there a 3rd party software that will access the correct dates and export them correctly embedded in my photo files?

Some helpful results: Photoshop's "file info" option reveals the correct date for horizontal files, but not for the vertical files. That means I can continue at least sending photo discs out to family (since most of them are PC) without providing too much chaos in their photo browsing.

The "batch change" feature that makes the image title the date of the photo would be helpful except it uses the PC unfriendly "/" forward-slash (or the month spelled out). Maybe I'll just end up dragging the photos out of the "originals" folders on the DVDs for my own archiving purposes.
Know a good way to make file name the date AND a sequential photo number?

However it is trivial to modify it so I doubt that it would hold water in court

Exporting Created Date in iPhoto

I need to export photos from iPhoto and I need to preserve the metadata - particularly the date/time the photo was taken. If I right click on the photo in iPhoto and click "Get Info", it shows the proper created date/time so I know iPhoto has it.
However, when I export the photos, it has the created date set to today. If I drag the photos from iPhoto to a folder in Finder, it has the created date set to the last modified date.
How can I properly export photos with the created date/time preserved?

Can't export older videos from iPhoto

Hiya, I hope someone can help me out here.
My wife and I have a few years worth of videos that were taken on digital cameras and were imported into iPhoto. The videos from the past few years were taken on our iPhones, but the older videos were imported from our old digital camera. All of our videos play correctly within iPhoto. But I recently tried to export my videos from iPhoto, and the older videos do not play. They are very short - usually about 10K to 500K, and they are zero length. When you press play they just immediately skip to the end. It's almost like they are a photo. This happens in iMovie and when I try to play the video directly out of the finder.
Now, I did my homework on exporting and made sure to chose 'Original'. And all of the exported videos from the past three years (the iPhone videos) or so work just fine. So I don't think I messed up my iPhoto export somehow. Another interesting wrinkle is that I can choose 'locate in finder' for the older videos and find the movie that way and it plays just fine. These videos in the iPhoto library are also the correct size - 10M or so. So I suppose that if worst comes to worst I can just manually copy every single video. But I'd like for the export process to work.
Any ideas?

If you want to find all videos/movies very quickly in iPhoto create a Smart Album with the criteria: Photo is Movie.

When you export from iPhoto you're limited to the sorting options of the Finder, which is where you're exporting to. This principally leaves you with sorting on filename or date. The Finder doesn't so manual sorting.
The trick is to set up your album in the order you prefer.
Then when that's done, title the photos to reflect the sequence. So, John and Angela's Wedding 001, John and Angela's Wedding 002, John and Angela's Wedding 003 etc - you can do this using the Photos -> Batch Change commant
Then export the snaps from iPhoto using the option to rename the files to the photo title.

Before you can decide what to do, you have to know what you are starting with. Sony MPEG-1 files would be converted one way while DivX or WMV files would likely be handled in another. Extraneous tracks can be removed directly with QT Pro but if you don't have QT Pro then there may or may not be other work around possibilities depending on the specific audio and video compression formats in use. The best place to start would normally be to double-clic the source file in iPhoto to open it in the QT Player. When it opens in the QT Player, check the "Inspector" window to see what it says on the "Format:" lines. This will tell you the type of audio and video content you are dealing with here. Then come and tell us so we can offer some specific conversion solutions.

My initial requirements are: seeking information on company code (emp), contract status (status) and / or effective date of contract settlement (dt_liq_efetiva) - a small amount of data to developers.
These three fields are present in the main system table (the table of contracts). Then I thought about ...
- create a temporary table from the query results table to contract;
- and then use this temporary table as a reference to fetch the data in other tables of the owner while maintaining integrity. But how? I have not found the answer, because: what to do when not there is the possibility of a join between the contract and any other table?

Well, I am working with release 9.2.0.8.0. But the planning is migrate to 10g this year. So my questions are:
With Data Pump can export data just from tables owned for me (SCHEMAS = MYOWNER) parameterizing the volume of data (SAMPLE) and filters to table (QUERY), right? But parameterizing a contract table QUERY = "WHERE status NOT IN (2,6) ORDER BY contract ":
1º- the Data Pump automatically searches for related data in other tables in the owner? ex. parcel table has X records related (fk) with Y contracts not in (2,6): X * SAMPLE records will be randomly exported?
2º- for the tables without relation (fk) and which are within the owner (MYOWNER) the data is exported only based on the parameter SAMPLE?

Export RAW file from iPhoto to Aperture

I want to start using Aperture 2 for my photo editing, so I need to import a number of RAW photos that are currently stored in iPhoto. This seems like it should be a simple enough process, but the different methods I have attempted have only resulted in a JPG version of the photo being imported.
I have spent quite a bit of time perusing previous posts and haven't been able to find an answer, so any help or direction would be greatly appreciated!

I don't think there is any reason to export the photos from iPhoto first. Aperture can browse the iPhoto library and will allow you to drag and drop the original files.
In Aperture:
1. Pull down File > Show iPhoto Browser.
2. Find the photos you want, highlight them by Shift+clicking several in a row or Command+clicking discontinuous photos. Make sure the extension on the file corresponds to the type of RAW file your camera shoots (.CR2 for Canon, .NEF for Nikon, etc).
3. Drag and drop the selected files to the Library icon in the Projects list. This will create a new project called "Untitled Project" that contains your photos.

JSObject returns wrong date. How can I extract correct date from digital signature?

I'm trying to extract name and date from digital signatures by using JSObject in Excel VBA, but JSObject returns wrong date. Year, month, hour and minute are correct, but only day is incorrect.
Here is my code. I'm using Acrobat 8.1.3.
Please tell me what's wrong with this code and how I can extract correct date from digital signatures.

You can use TDMS file format to save the data. I have attached a reference Vi.
On button click you can log the data or remove the case structure and continuous log the complete acquisition data.
