Exporting Email Address Question (for Mailchimp purposes)
Hello. I'm preparing an email campaign and am having trouble with the following. How do I get the email addresses from a SPECIFIC FOLDER in Mail (i have many) to export either to Address Book (into an SPECIFIC GROUP) or to a file of some sort that can later be imported into Chimpmail. I know about the window>previous recepient way, but that only offers to put all the names and email addresses in my entire IN BOX (over a dozen folders) into my ALL MY CONTACTS in address book (which I don't want, I would like to direct the exported email addresses (from a specific folder in Mail) into a specific group in Address Book.

No there is no option as you mentioned. But what you can do is setting a "Reply to" for all the messages that you reply for your work email. To do so -
Go to Email Settings icon on your device
Login using the user name and password (if already set by you)
Under Services click on Email Account
Under your @blackberry.bet ID click Edit
Type in your work email ID in the Reply To field

I have customers that fill-out a request form online, then the data is sent to our database on our server, and another copy is sent to my email account. The server database got corrupted and is now lost. The only data left are in my email app called APPLE MAIL. I have created Filtered Folders so the data is just in one Folder, not mixed with all other emails. Is there a way to export the email names & addresses from APPLE MAIL to a CVS file or Excel file?
Again this is not a question related to Apple Address Book. This is ONLY for Apple MAIL exporting!

The script to use from the collection of scripts is Add Addresses (Mail) which adds addresses found in the selected messages (in the header fields "From", "To", "Cc", and "Bcc") to the Address Book. This is much more flexible than the "Add Sender to Address Book" available in Mail and provides a convenient way for creating mailing lists. -
I changed my Apple ID to my new email address successfully for the iTunes and App store but it won't work for iCloud and it won't recognize my password. I read that this can't be done. How am I supposed to get into iCloud? I plan on getting rid of my old email address which is my old Apple ID so how is that going to work?

I changed my Apple ID to my new email and now cannot find any way to access icloud. Unfortunately I had allowed icloud to hijack my airbook files, so of course I am afraid I will lose them tomorrow when I exchange my iphone for a new one and cannot keep an icloud account i cannot access. What a poor sync system! Really atypical for apple! -

As of 09/29/09, you can now change your email address for the forum via My Settings even if you have a community-only id. Many thanks to the mods for this update!

I have a new email address and updated my apple id/icloud with the new address. I updated on my iPhone, but i'm keep getting a pop up to enter my password with my old email address listed for iCloud/Apple id. How do I get it to go away?
Did you create a NEW Apple ID or did you change the email address for your OLD Apple ID? This will affect how you update apps in the future.
Anyway, go to Settings/iTunes&App Stores, log out, then log in with the new ID. -

The missing apps could have been done by setting the Restrictions that can hid those apps. If the backup was made with those retrictions set the the Restrictions are also restored.
Thus, if you get it to work restore to factory settings/new iPod, not from backup

Export email addresses from Mail?
Is there any way to export email addresses from Mail into a CSV file? I know I can push it to Address Book then export but that mixes all the exports in with my existing addresses.
If you know SQL, you could export out of the previous recipients database file inside your user/Library/Application Support/AddressBook folder. It's a sqlite3 database.

I have created a new (alias) email address specifically for general emails (shopping, etc). I was expecting it to pop up in Mail, Inbox next to my existing .mac account. It's not there so where do I find it?
Aliases are merely another address within the same account, you won't see additional groups of settings for them. You should however see them as an option in the pull down "From" menu when you create an email.

Email address used for registration deleted
We purchased adobe acrobate pro 10 a couple of years ago. My secretary registered the software from her email address. She has since left the company and her address has been deleted. I have a new computer and can't download the software because the email address used for registration no longer valid! I have the serial numbers and license certificate. Can anyone help me.

PeterI am not sure what your organization arrangements are but I would think you could recreate the email address so that it can be used. I know that I can create subaccounts for my own email service.
Aside from that, you might be able to download the trial version of the software directly thru the site linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

Yes, if you change your Apple ID to your new email address. You don't have to. Under those sort of situations you can speak to Apple about transferring your purchased items to the new Apple ID, and see if they will help you.
You don't lose access to your older purchased items, you simply cannot update or re-download them or, in some cases, use them without providing the old Apple ID and password. All purchased items are permanently tied to the Apple ID used at time of purchase. -

They will need to get their own Apple ID - go to http://appleid.apple.com to set up a new one. You will need a different non-Apple email address from any already in use.
Then they will need a separate user account on the Mac, or their own computer. You can then set up the account and add an @icloud.com email address in System Preferences>iCloud.
Although you could set up an alias address on your own account, I should advise against this - once created you cannot detach an alias from the account so they wouldn't be able to move it to their own account at a later date and their email would be inextricably linked with yours. -

The Apple ID is right everywhere else. I've synced the phone. I've reset it in Settings on the phone. I've changed it at Apple.

To wipe phone
Turn off imessage in settings/messages
Turn off Facetime in settings/Facetime
Delete icloud account in settings/icloud
Erase all data and settings in settings/general/reset

Error when using using email address used for HP Store when signing up for ePrint
When signing up for ePrint I had to use a different email address to my usual because:
1) ePrint kept saying that my email address was already in use, or pswd was incorrect
2) When checking it wasn't the passord - using forgotten pwd (as I hadn't yet signed up for ePrint - surprised if this) then after entering same email I got a message saying the correct account was needed before the forgotten pwd function would work (catch22). I would have at least expected an email to come through regarding pwd to that email - mine or not.
I've now had to use another email address to register for ePrint, which is annoying.
Any assistance to re-align to one email (and maintain integrity) greatly appreciated.

Do you have a Snapfish account? If so, (or even if you’re not sure) try logging in with the Snapfish icon below the Sign in Button. If you do not know your Snapfish password, you can select “forgot password” and an email will be sent to you to reset your password. Once you reset your password, go back in to the ePrint Center and try to sign in with this new information.
