Exporting email addresses

I have delved pretty deep but cannot find the answer to my question. Is there a way to export all the email addresses from your mail account? Not necessarily any address book, but all the email addresses that are saved/memorized in your account? Thanks.

Hi Boydm,
I had a corrupt address book after my upgrade to Leopard so I needed also to find all previous email address from years of archived mail. After searching all sites pertaining to Macs, I found this great little utility called "Email Extractor". It imports all email addresses from any recieved or sent mail you have in any mailbox or archived .mbox file. Is fantastic. You will have to delete the ones you do not want of course. You can find it here:

Good luck and please post your results!

  • Export email addresses from Mail?

Is there any way to export email addresses from Mail into a CSV file? I know I can push it to Address Book then export but that mixes all the exports in with my existing addresses.

If you know SQL, you could export out of the previous recipients database file inside your user/Library/Application Support/AddressBook folder. It's a sqlite3 database.

  • Exporting  Email Address Question (for Mailchimp purposes)

Hello. I'm preparing an email campaign and am having trouble with the following.  How do  I get the email addresses from a SPECIFIC FOLDER in Mail (i have many) to export either to Address Book (into an SPECIFIC GROUP) or to a  file of some sort that can later be imported into Chimpmail.  I know about the window>previous recepient way, but that only offers to put all the names and email addresses in my entire IN BOX (over a dozen folders) into my ALL MY CONTACTS in address book (which I don't want, I would like to direct the exported email addresses (from a specific folder in Mail) into a specific group in Address Book.
    Thank you, Marcos

No there is no option as you mentioned. But what you can do is setting a "Reply to" for all the messages that you reply for your work email. To do so -
Go to Email Settings icon on your device
Login using the user name and password (if already set by you)
Under Services click on Email Account
Under your @blackberry.bet ID click Edit
Type in your work email ID in the Reply To field

If your query is resolved then please click on “Accept as Solution”

  • How can I export email addresses from apple mail?

How can I export email addresses from Apple Mail?
Just to be CRISTAL CLEAR please don't reply with export instructions from the address book.....not interested in this.
I have customers that fill-out a request form online, then the data is sent to our database on our server, and another copy is sent to my email account. The server database got corrupted and is now lost. The only data left are in my email app called APPLE MAIL. I have created Filtered Folders so the data is just in one Folder, not mixed with all other emails. Is there a way to export the email names & addresses from APPLE  MAIL to a CVS file or Excel file?
Again this is not a question related to Apple Address Book. This is ONLY for Apple MAIL exporting!
    Thanks

There is a collection of AppleScripts called Mail Scripts you can download at this link.
    http://homepage.mac.com/aamann/Mail_Scripts.html
The script to use from the collection of scripts is Add Addresses (Mail) which adds addresses found in the selected messages (in the header fields "From", "To", "Cc", and "Bcc") to the Address Book. This is much more flexible than the "Add Sender to Address Book" available in Mail and provides a convenient way for creating mailing lists.

  • Export email addresses

I would like to export my email addresses to a file in CSV format. Is there a way to do this without resorting to writing my own script to filter a vCard file?

export them as a vcard and then use an existing vcard to csv converter like this one http://labs.brotherli.ch/vcfconvert/
no need to create your own.

How do I get the complete email adress to showup as the mailto:  in my PDF file?

It's not you, it's Acrobat. The detect links feature was broken in Acrobat 8, I think. Not sure if the bug was ever fixed. Try an Acrobat forum search and a Google search for Acrobat detect links and similar terms.

  • Hard to explain, exporting email addresses from computer and I need from this point onwards new addresses to be logged somewhere else.

I will be exporting all my email addresses to set up a retail customer mailing list. Because we are a business I have suppliers emails along with a trade customers who I will have to manually find and remove from my mailing list.
Then in 1 months time I hope to export the next lot of addresses (and every month after) to add to my retail mailing list. I would ideally like this export to only include the addresses that were accumulated since the last export. This is so that I do not have to go through the whole lot all over again.
Is this something that is possible? Can anyone suggest how I can manage this or is there another way to achieve what I want that I am not thinking of?
    Many thanks
    Ricky

    lots of ways.
How about creating a retail and other address books in Thunderbird. Then you only have to export the one you want each time, or use the mail merge add-on to actually send messages from Thunderbird.
Given all email address add options include ac choice of address book, except the automated collections of outgoing addresses not in the address books,
I suggest you get into the habit of adding new addresses to the correct address book before them mail is sent.
Given that the whiter list for images is no longer the address book from Version 31 on you should be able to manage your address book fairly simply.

  • Export email addresses to mail

I have a numbers table that has one column with email addresses.
I would like to export these somehow into mail.app so that I can send out a letter to each email address- perhaps as a group in address book??
    can't figure out how.
    thanks-

    Hello
With this short script, no need to remember if it's column or row which is accepted.
Line break as well as TABs are replaced by ", ". So, in both cases, Mail will be happy.
    --=====
    on run
    local en_texte
set en_texte to paragraphs of (the clipboard as text)
    set en_texte to my recolle(en_texte, ", ")
    set en_texte to my remplace(en_texte, tab, ", ")
    set the clipboard to en_texte
    end run
    --=====
    on recolle(l, d)
    local oTIDs, t
set oTIDs to AppleScript's text item delimiters
set AppleScript's text item delimiters to d
set t to l as text
set AppleScript's text item delimiters to oTIDs
    return t
    end recolle
    --=====
    on remplace(t, d1, d2)
    local oTIDs, l
set oTIDs to AppleScript's text item delimiters
set AppleScript's text item delimiters to d1
set l to text items of t
set AppleScript's text item delimiters to d2

    thanks for your help.

It's possible that Outlook doesn't understand multiple contact vCards.
If that's the case, use vCard Splitter:

  • Export email addresses to thunderbird address book

I have Macbook pro.  When using it in the PC mode I find that using Thunderbird for my email works well.
How can I get the contacts/addresses from Apple Mail over to the Thunderbird email?  I lose my sync via iCloud but if I
could copy them over it would cut down on the upkeep.

Wow. Do you really have Firefox 3.0b5? It's ancient. You should update Firefox by downloading the current version from http://mozilla.org/firefox and running the installer.
Firefox doesn't have an address book - it's a Web browser. You'll need to visit the support site for whatever e-mail application you are using. If it's Mozilla Thunderbird, visit http://support.mozillamessaging.com/

  • Quick question about exporting email address and their alias from Exchange 2007 mailbox

    Hi Everyone,
We have Exchange 2007 and 2013 servers. All users are still 2007 servers. I have a list of users around 179 out of 3000 in a CSV file. I would like to export those 179 users primary smtp and their aliases. Is it possible to achieve through any script?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Siva

    Hello Siva,
You don't need a script for this. Information can be obtained with simple command.
    $AllUsers = Get-Mailbox -ResultSize Unlimited | Select DisplayName,Alias,PrimarySMTPAddress,SamACcountName,Database,LegacyExchangeDN
    $AllUsers | Export-Csv Outputfile.csv -NoTypeInformation
Try this and let me know if it helps!
if you want PrimarySMTPAddress and alias of only those users whose information on the excel sheet, then what do you have as the column name in the excel sheet which you are using to query on the server.
Considering that you are using Alias to query the server to get the details you can try below:
    $Global:Output = @()
    $CsvData = Import-Csv Inputfile.csv
    foreach($line in $CsvData)
    {$CurrentObject = $Line.AliasWrite-Host “Processing Obect “$CurrentObject “From Csv File”
    –ForeGroundColor YELLOW$EmailIDJoin = ""$EmailAddresses = @()$UserInfo = "" | Select DisplayName,PrimarySMTPAddress,Alias,SamAccountName,Database,LegacyExchangeDN,EmailAddresses
    $UserInfo.DisplayName = (Get-Mailbox $CurrentObject).DisplayName
    $UserInfo.PrimarySMTPAddress = (Get-Mailbox $CurrentObject).PrimarySMTPAddress
    $UserInfo.Alias = (Get-Mailbox $CurrentObject).Alias
    $UserInfo.SamAccountName = (Get-Mailbox $CurrentObject).SamAccountName
    $UserInfo.Database = (Get-Mailbox $CurrentObject).Database
    $UserInfo.LegacyExchangeDN = (Get-Mailbox $CurrentObject).LegacyExchangeDN
    $EmailAddresses = (Get-Mailbox $CurrentObject)|%{$_.EmailAddresses}
    for($i=0;$i -lt $EmailAddresses.Count;$i++)
    $EmailIDJoin += $EmailAddresses[$i].ProxyAddressString
    if($i -lt $EmailAddresses.Count - 1)
    $EmailIDJoin += ','
    $UserInfo.EmailAddresses = $EmailIdJoin
    $Global:Output += $UserInfo
    #Export output to CSV File
    $Global:Output | Export-Csv GlobalOutput.csv -NoTypeInformation

  • How to export Apple Mail Email Addresses..

I am going about an email-gathering process in order to analyze addresses I want to use for future marketing.
One resource of qualified leads is my 5 year old Gmail account which has all my correspondence 'banked' -
so I want to extract and put into a list form (spreadsheet, csv) - all of the sent-to and received-from email
addresses that i have accumulated.  Since Gmail doesn't natively export email addresses as a list, I must
go through the process of either a POP or IMAP download to an email client.  I decided to set up Apple Mail
with an IMAP configuration for the purpose of offloading all of my gmail into Apple Mail.  That is currently in
progress - I am running the "sync" feature at the moment - figure it'll be a half-day or so to process through
    it.
Then comes the question, which i forgot to consider - and I am not sure about this because i normally use Thunderbird...
is there a way to export all of the Emails from the Apple Mail folders once they've downloaded from Gmail - into a format
that can be 'read' by an email extraction app - i.e., .csv, or tab delimited, etc... I see stuff about "Address Book" being
exported, but nothing specifically referring to the email addresses themselves.
Hope this question makes sense and thanks for any advice or second opinion on whether there's a better way to do
    what i'm trying to do.
    Thanks
    Mike

Hi, thanks for that info - I have this app called Email Extractor - it may read the .emlx files -haven't been able to find much documentation....been a year or two since i toyed with it andi won't know til the IMAP downloading to the email client is done before i can try it... will probably take half a day before this synch process completes as it has about 15,000 emails to process...
As for the data, I basically just need the email addresses.   It would make life simpler if there were a converter that would just transform the .emlx to .csv in order for me to run the list through the Extractor parsing' app.  I was kinda hoping i could export from Mail to .csv or something this app can readily read...
    Thanks again,
    Mike

  • How can I make a migration copy of my email addresses for use in another program.

It is necessary to make a migration copy of all our email addresses for transfer to windows express.
Our office overseas can not use Thunderbird & needs all our email addresses stored in Thunderbird copied for migration into their windows express program. How can this be achieved.?
I think we may also need to transfer email copies too, can this be done.?
    If so, how.?
    Regards Kym

Ok I have googled, I have found a windows cleaning company in Switzerland http://www.windowsexpress.org/About-Us.htmland something called Parallels Desktop for Mac with instructions for installing windows on a mac.
So I think we need to go back to the beginning with "What is Windows express?"
Email programs as a general rule do not "export" their contents into another mail clients formats. The normal procedure is to "import" the foreign format so there are some obvious questions
What formats can this mail software import?
Are your existing mail accounts IMAP or pop?
you can export email addresses from Thunderbird as CSV which almost all programs can read (including spreadsheets) From the address book select the Tools menu (Alt+ T) and select the export option
