Exporting from HTML DB 1.4 to 2.0 - "Program too large (Diana nodes)"

Hi
I exported an HTML DB 1.4. into a script and got an error while trying to execute it.
The script itself is over 800 kb and consists of 25 000 lines. However, it is divided into begin-end blocks.
If I start the script in HTML DB 2.0 I get an error:
"Program too large (Diana nodes)"

Sorry, it should have been HTML DB 1.4 <b>application</b>.
The application causing this problem has also a page with about 200 items, so I hope that after I have splitted this problematic page into multiple pages, this "program too large" problem would also solve.

  • I need to export (to doc format) just a few select pages from various parts of a PDF file that is too large to convert in its entirety

    I already paid for the service, but I can't seem to do the above.
    If I upload the entire thing the process fails, saying the file is too large...

    I would suggest using an outside product, such as PDF Splitter (FoxyUtils SplitPDF - Split PDF Files Online for Free), or just open up the document in Chrome, and print from your desired start to end page as a PDF. Then try uploading the file.
    There is no internal workaround available in Acrobat.com yet, as after all, it is still in its beginning stages, unlike the Acrobat desktop application.
    Wouldn't be a bad suggestion, I guess, though, for an improvement to make for a future version.

  • Excel export from html/jsp

    Hi,
    I have a jsp-file based on data of a DB2. This data should be exported to an excelsheet, starting the application (not browser plug-in).

    Hi,
    some solution here :
    1. if you've create an Excel file, just set the response content type to 'application/vnd.ms-excel' and send the file data to response.
    2. write data to response.out, each document line will be a sheet line, every colum are separate by a tabulation
    3. write an HTML TABLE which contains data to response.out
    Hope this helps.

  • Exporting from Final Cut Pro 5.1.4 is stretched too wide

    I imported my HD footage from iMovie at 1280x720 and edited, now every time I export it from FCP 5.1.4 comes out with short fat people in the movie. Help? What settings to use to get it out at full quality?
    Thanks
    Dan

    Does it look OK in FCP?
    If so follow these instructions for outputting 1280x720 for the web.
    Select File>Export>Using QT Conversion.
    Click the "Options"  button and when the the Options window opens you will see  "Size", "Settings" and  "Sound" buttons.
    Click the Size button and set 1280 x 720
    Click  the Settings button and  select:-
    Compression Type . . . . H.264
    Frame Rate . . . . . . . . . Current
    Key Frames . . . . . . . . . Automatic
    Compressor Quality . . . High
    Encoding . . . . . . . . . . "Faster" encode will give almost the same quality as "Best" but is twice as fast - your decision!
    Data Rate . . . . . . . . . . Restrict to 3,000kbps  (Don't use a comma when you enter the number)
    Then click the "Audio" button and make sure that AAC has been selected.

  • I have to export from Iphoto to use my photos in other programs (like Photo

    I'm new to MAC or IMAC. Moved my photos so IPhoto could use them and apparently IPhoto eats them. The only way I have access to them is to load them in IPhoto then export them.This seems unreasonable. So I'm hoping I've misunderstood some basic procedure. I use Iphoto to organize not to edit.
    TIA -
    Barb

    Barb
    Yes that is unreasonable, however the good news is that it's not necessary:
    You can set Photoshop (or any image editor) as an external editor in iPhoto. (Preferences -> General -> Edit Photo: Choose from the Drop Down Menu.) This way, when you double click a pic to edit in iPhoto it will open automatically in Photoshop or your Image Editor, and when you save it it's sent back to iPhoto automatically.
    That's the way to have pics you edit in PS (or whatever)
    There are three ways (at least) to get files from the iPhoto Window.
    1. *Drag and Drop*: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.
    2. *File -> Export*: Select the files in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export. The dialogue will give you various options, including altering the format, naming the files and changing the size. Again, producing a copy.
    3. *Show File*: Right- (or Control-) Click on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.
    To upload to MySpace or any site that does not have an iPhoto Export Plug-in the recommended way is to Select the Pic in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export and export the pic to the desktop, then upload from there. After the upload you can trash the pic on the desktop. It's only a copy and your original is safe in iPhoto.
    This is also true for emailing with Web-based services. If you're using Gmail you can use THIS
    If you use Apple's Mail, Entourage, AOL or Eudora you can email from within iPhoto.
    If you use a Cocoa-based Browser such as Safari, you can drag the pics from the iPhoto Window to the Attach window in the browser. Or, if you want to access the files with iPhoto not running, then create a Media Browser using Automator (takes about 10 seconds) or use THIS
    Also, for 10.5 users: If you use the extended Open or Attach dialogue (with Column View) you can scroll to the bottom of the Shortcuts and find the Media browser there. Select any pic you want from there.

  • Export from Acrobat PDF to HTML

    Is there any reliable way to export an Acrobat PDF file to HTML uising Acrobat 9 Pro Extended. When I try to do it from Acrobat, I get:
    Tables that are a total, horrendous mess, nothing at all like the tables in the original Pdf.
    Text that is randomly surrounded, for no apparrent reason, with span tags and completely worthless CSS. A single, uninterrupted sentence can have four or five spans, all with different CSS classes for no apparent reason. When you look at the four or five CSS classes, they all have the same, identical style attributes.
    Exporting it to RTF results in a mess that is no less horrendous.
    What I'm trying to do is take some rather lengthy PDFs (200 pages or more each) and use them as input to a RoboHelp WebHelp project. However, the output, whether I try an import into RoboHelp, an export from Acrobat Professional Extended, or one of several third party PDF converters is all so horrendous that it would be easier to completely retype the the 200 pages times sixteen or so documents than to attempt to cleanup the horrendous mess that results from an Acrobat export.
    Why can't Adobe get their products to work together? At this pont, I've just about reached the conclusion that it is very clear that nother should ever, for any reason, under any circumstances be converted to PDF unlesss you absolutely have the documents in the original format locked up someplace because you can never get anything meaningful and transportable out of Acrobat. Please tell me that, in this day and time, the Acrobat PDF files can actually be converted in a meaningful way.

    That's very true. However, you can create RTF documents with Word and WordPerfect and in this day and time, virtually everyone can read those, while they are ultimately transportable to a whole wide variety of formats, including HTML, without any significant degradation. If Adobe can't make PDFs transportable between document types in the same way, why on earth would anyone ever use the PDF format. All this hoopla about embedding video, sound, etc. is pretty much nonsense. You can pretty much do that in RTF, and few if any actually want to do it anyway.
    All I can say is, why does Adobe advertise that you can export to file types such as HTML and RTF from Acrobat PDFs when you obviously can't. Why do they include the options on their menus. This is obviously a case of false and misleading advertisement. This is the day and time of transportable documents. Adobe has chosen to make Acrobat Pro an anachronistic and archaic dinosaur.
    Once again, why create PDFs when they have such limited usefulness.

  • Cannot export Financial Report from HTML view to Query Ready Mode

    Hi,
    I am opening Hyperion Financial Reports in Workspace in HTML mode. On the bottom right of the report, when I click on "Export in Query Ready Mode", the report does not get transported to excel. Rather, a message flashes for a split-second and disappears. The message is "The address is not valid". Can anyone please advise as to what should I do to get the report in excel? I did notice that there is also File->Export->Excel->Fully Formatted Grids & Texts, but we want to get it in Query Ready Mode.
    Version is 11.1.1.3. Thanks for any suggestions.
    ABG

    We have resolved this issue. The problem was that Smart View installation/configuration was not complete on the machine which I used to launch report into Query Ready Mode. Once Smart View was fixed, we were able to convert report from HTML view to Query Ready Mode.

  • How do i send an html file exported from muse as email blast with images and live links?

    My question it:
    How do i send an html file exported from muse as email blast with images and live links?
    I have designed a "website" in adobe muse and exported it as an html file. I am not sure how to send my .html file in an email!
    Best,
    Nicole

    Unfortunately, the answer is, you don't. The requirements for HTML displayed in an e-mail reader are very different than those for HTML displayed in a browser. The output of Muse won't work as an HTML e-mail. You could upload the Muse site as a website and provide a link to it in an e-mail, but the HTML generated by Muse is not suitable for direct display by an e-mail program.

  • Exporting to HTML from InDesign CS4

    I what may be an odd issue.  I am working with InDesign to create client alerts for my firm.  We send these out via email.  Currently we are using a 3rd party application called ExactTarget for the mass-email, then creating the INDD file and exporting to PDF to post to the web as an attachment.  We are converting to using the email campaign too in our new contact database, ContactEase.  This requires creating the email body in HTML.  It would save me a lot of work if we could export the INDD file to a PDF to post to the web AND to an HTML that can be used to send the email.
    Unfortunately, when I use the "Export to Dreamweaver" function in INDD to create the HTML file, I get a very simplistic page that does not reflect my original layout.  I have also tried selecting SWF as the type under "Export."  In this instance, I get the file formatted well, but I can only see the first page.  Has anyone else had experience exporting to HTML from INDD and retaining the formatting?  Is there a step I am forgetting?  Or perhaps an easier way to go about this?  Id' really rather not have to create the page template in HTML and have to continue to basically creating the document twice (once for email and once for web).
    Any direction/assistance is appreciated!  Thank you in advance.

    To get HTML exporting to work you have to style all the text and then recreate matching CSS styles in your HTML editor. When you export, the Advanced tab (CS3) lets you decide whether to create empty CSS declarations or link to an external CSS doc.
    I use one paragraph style for all the text which exports as something like p.mytext, then use character styles for everything else, which get exported as something like span.myhead. The exported XHTML style section might look like this when you choose empty declarations:
    p.mytext {}
    span.bold {}
    span.myhead {}
    span.italic {}
    span.link {}
    span.smallcaps {}
    span.subhead {}
    Where you need to fill in the properties between the brackets like this:
    p. mytext {
    font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    span.bold {
    font-weight: bold;
    span.myhead {
    font-size: 20px;
    font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif;
    color: #C06000;
    span.italic {
    font-style: italic;
    span.smallcaps {
    letter-spacing: 3px;
    font-size: 75%;
    word-spacing: -2px;
    color: #444444;
    span.link {
    text-decoration: none;
    color: #CC9900;
    span.subhead {
    font-size: 14px;
    font-family: Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    color: #666666;
    font-weight: bold;
    letter-spacing: 0.75px;
    You have to have a reasonable grip on CSS in order to get it all to work.

  • Is it possible to export the html code from a muse site that I am building?

    Is it possible to export the html code from a muse site that I am building?

    Mac_Heibu has the right idea. When you export your site to HTML, it creates a folder that contains all of your pages. Here's an example of what the folder will contain. All of your HTML pages, all your scripts, CSS, and it'll also have individual folders WITHIN your main folder for your phone or tablet versions, if applicable. This method allows you to upload your files to an FTP host. However, if you're trying to upload it to an FTP, the BETTER option would be to go File > Upload to FTP Host. If this has helped you, please mark mac_heibu's answer as the Correct Answer, and feel free to mark my reply as a Helpful Answer.

  • Multiple CSV exports from the one button or pl/sql procedure?

    I need to have multiple csv exports from the one press of a button. The easiest way I found to do this is it to use javascript to popup three windows, each as a CSV link. This is a bit ugly though, and leaves the browser popup windows open when the file has been downloaded.
    I guess I could also make a solution based on branching, but I think that would be difficult to maintain and reeks of bad design (im not a fan of this spagetti GOTO style code!).
    I implemented Scott's custom CSV as found here: http://spendolini.blogspot.com/2006/04/custom-export-to-csv.html
    However I would like to know if its possible to download more than one file using this method. I could not work out how to do this .
    Has anyone got any ideas? Simply repeating the code puts the second table into the original csv file. Is there a way to 'reset' the htp writer or smoething?
    Any help greatly appreciated,
    Alex

    Sorry for the confusion - I guess I mean its easy in .NET because you can simply compress files together and then send 1 zip file down as the response. See http://www.developer.com/net/net/article.php/11087_3510026_2 for details.
    I guess I could ask how to do this in APEX - but it seems to me that my original wording addresses the concept at a much more abstract level. I may not find the best solution for my problem if I just asked 'how can I dynamically zip together three tables as seperate files and send them to the client?'. I also suspect that this method is not possible in APEX without custom packages. Please prove me wrong!
    I guess even if I could find some kind of javascript that didnt open a new window, but was a direct download to the CSV, that would be a good compromise. At the moment when you click on the link, three windows come up and stay blank until the files are ready for downloading. Then after the files have been downloaded the windows must be shut manually. Yes, I could use javascript to make the windows 1x1 pixel perhaps, and then shut them after a predetermined timeframe - but this is hardly an elegant solution!
    Thanks for your responses.

  • How do I link to Anchor Text from browser to PDF file exported from InDesign?

    I see that this question was asked previously but not answered:
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/3737541
    I need a way to link to topics (from an HTML page) within a structured PDF file generated from InDesign, i.e. one that has an interactive bookmarks
    panel, that doesn't break the links when the file is updated.
    In particular, I don't want to refer to:
    *  page numbers because the document will repaginate when it is updated, breaking existing links
    * named destinations that are numeric as addition/deletion of topics renumbers the named destinations, breaking the links.
    Is there any option in InDesign that creates named destinations derived from bookmark titles as that would seem to solve my problem?
    I have a similar need, but I have not been able to find an answer anywhere online, even after a several hours of research.
    I am on contract with General Electric to develop a UI Style Guide for an international team of developers. My client wants to be able to distribute the Style Guide as a PDF document, but needs to provide links to specific topics when submitting a "Story" in an Agile development environment to the programmers.
    Ideally, I would like to be able to create "named destinations" in InDesign such that I can provide the client with a list of URLs similar to this format:
    file:\\StyleGuide\Test1-20131024a.pdf\#nameddest=AnchorText-01
    However, I can not figure out how to create "named destinations" in the PDF file from the InDesign file in which I have created the Anchor Text in the Hyperlinks tab.
    Alternately, the client would be satisfied with the ability to link to specific bookmarks in the exported PDF file that have been derived from the configuration of the Table of Contents styles, but my research has led me to believe that it is not possible to hyperlink from a browser window to a bookmark in a PDF file (only to specific page numbers, search word lists, named destinations, and comments) as described here: http://blogs.adobe.com/tcs/2011/01/tcs-specific/linking-to-a-page-within-a-pdf-and-more.ht ml
    Having been using InDesign since 1988, when it was PageMaker, I would prefer to use it to provide GE with the most attractive deliverable, but they are now leaning heavily toward having me licensed with Madcap Flare, which has this capability built in:
    http://webhelp.madcapsoftware.com/flare9/Default.htm#Nav_Links/Named_Destinations/Creating _Named_Destinations.htm
    Please help me to find a solution that will allow me to continue using InDesign for this project.
    Thank you!
    Lynne O’Connor
    Technical Writer (contractor)
    GE Oil & Gas - Measurement & Control

    Follow-up post (solution is not available):
    I have just completed a phone call with Gaurev Sethi of Adobe escalated technical support in which I shared my screen to explain and demonstrate the desire to link from an external URL to a specific location within a PDF file that has been exported from InDesign. After 40 minutes, during which I was placed on hold a few times while he consulted with his team, it was determined that the desired functionality is not supported in InDesign and has been identified as a limitation of the software.
    In researching alternate documentation software that supports PDF export, I discovered that Madcap Software supports this functionality in its Flare product:
    http://webhelp.madcapsoftware.com/flare9/Default.htm#Nav_Links/Named_Destinations/Creating _Named_Destinations.htm
    Note that linking via URL to a bookmarked location within a PDF is not supported:
    http://blogs.adobe.com/tcs/2011/01/tcs-specific/linking-to-a-page-within-a-pdf-and-more.ht ml
    More about parameters that can be specified to open PDF files are available here:
    http://www.adobe.com/content/dam/Adobe/en/devnet/acrobat/pdfs/pdf_open_parameters.pdf
    Although the above link is for a previous version of Acrobat, I could find no evidence to the contrary in the current SDK documentation.

  • EPUB exported from InDesign works on iPad and not on Android tablets

    I've edxported several similar books to EPUB from InDesign CS5, using the same technique each. After exporting from InDesign, there's a lot of tweaking of the HTML code and some changes to the content.opf and toc.ncx, but the finished product for all of the books works fine on iPads but some do not work on Android tablets. There are six separate InDesign documents in each epub book...three small, one large, and then two small. Some of the books work fine on Android tablets, but for some of them, the first three documents show up fine, but when one advances to the large document, the book closes. There's no error message. Any ideas what the problem might be? Are there size limitations for documents on Android machines?

    As you have found out - it doesn't work.

  • How do I export from PDF to PPT so that shapes created in Illustrator are editable

    How do I export from PDF to PPT so that shapes created in Illustrator are editable, not just text on top of them? I used the Acrobat XL Pro technique described here (http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/pdf-to-powerpoint-pptx-converter.html), to export a graphic I had created in Illustrator and saved as an Adobe PDF file, but shapes are not editable and are fuzzy too. Is there a way to export a complete Illustrator graphic to PowerPoint?

    Thanks Bill. Of course I realize I can insert an Illustrator drawing into a PPT without making it a PDF first. What I’m trying to do is insert a drawing from Illustrator that is still editable in PPT (a client request). Using the Acrobat XL Pro capability shown in this video <http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/pdf-to-powerpoint-pptx-converter.html> , only the text is editable in PPT, not shapes created in Illustrator.

  • How can a mount a NFS share exported from OpenBSD?

    Hello Apple Discussions:
    I've been experimenting with NFS in a mixed OS environment, and have been successful exporting nfs share with tigerserver, and mounting it on both a powerpc linux system, and on a powerpc openBSD system.
    Likewise, I can export a NFS share from the linux powerpc box, and mount it on the openBSD box and on the tigerserver, although, the latter required using the options (ro,sync,insecure) in my exports file.
    However, when I export a share on the OpenBSD box, I can mount it on the linux box, but not on tigerserver.
    I would like for the OpenBSD box to export a NFS share securely, with read-write permissions, to the tigerserver.
    After reading so many tutorials, that it would be a page of links, just to list them all, I am pulling my hair out. However, I have found one thread that suggests, that perhaps what I'm trying to do is impossible:
    http://www.bsdforums.org/forums/showthread.php?t=54308
    Here it is suggested that the NFS won't work because tigerserver is not using UTF-8?
    I will have to say, that I was somewhat alarmed, that the only times I succeeded in mounting an nfs share exported from linux onto tigerserver, it was when the "insecure" option is used in the /etc/exports file. There doesn't seem to be an equivalent for the linux style exports option "insecure", in the bsd style options of --maproot=user:group1:group2.
    But I don't like using any options that say "insecure" anyways, so rather than trying to find out how to make openbsd "insecure", I would rather like to find out if there is a way to get tigerserver using UTF-8, at least when mounting NFS shares, if this is indeed the issue.
    Here are the more technical details. I've created a user on all sytems named "fives" with the userid of 5555 and the groupid of 5555. I made the user local user in the local net info domain, but I've tried it with an LDAP user as well. The folders I wish to export and the folders into which to mount them are all owned by user fives and group fives, and have permissions set to 0775. The ip addresses are OpenBSD=192.168.222.111 TigerServer=192.168.222.233 LinuxPPC=192.168.222.253. I've included the relevant NFS setup files and running processes below:
    ON THE OPENBSD BOX:
    #/etc/exports
    /fives -alldirs -network=192.168.222.0 -mask=255.255.255.0
    /exports/fives -mapall=fives:fives 192.168.222.233 192.168.222.253

    # actually, I don't see statd, but haven't found the equivalent in openbsd. There's rpc.rstatd, and maybe it should be listed here, but there doesn't seem to be a way to launch it directly. This is a competitor with the UTF-8 theory about why it's not working.
    ON THE TIGER SERVER:
    # here's proof that tiger server sees the mounts:
    showmount -e 192.168.222.111
    Exports list on 192.168.222.111:
    /fives 192.168.222.0
    /exports/fives 192.168.222.233 192.168.222.253
    # here's the result of user fives' attempt at mounting a share:
    sudo mount -t nfs 192.168.222.111:/exports/fives /imports/fives
    mount_nfs: /imports/fives: Permission denied
    # yet user fives has no problem mounting same share on linuxppc box.
    What is different about OSX server? I thought it was supposed to speak NFS?
    ---argh... I'm steppin out for a pint.. Hopefully when I'm back it'll just work.

    One thing not mentioned is that if you decide on the multiple user approach, you can have your music folder in Shared Documents so you only store the tracks once.
    Each user is free to choose which of those tracks they want in their library.
    There is an Apple help article on multiple users.
