  • Export Limits for Multiple Sequences in the Same Sequence File for TS3.0

    Hi,
I am using TestStand 3.0 to a test application. Because we want to have our limits in a csv-file I have tried to use the Import/Export tools in TS. But this application only supports to export limits for the selected sequence (e.g. main, or subseq1) at a time. This makes it a pretty hard job to export limits from 30 test sequences. What I need is a possibility to export my limits from all sequences in my seq-file.
I have found an article on NI Dev. Zone about Export Limits for Multiple Sequences in the Same Sequence File (TestStand 1.0.x).
    http://sine.ni.com/apps/we/niepd_web_display.DISPLAY_EPD4?p_guid=B45EACE3D9CB56A4E034080020E74861&p_node=DZ52236&p_submitted=N&p_rank=&p_answer=&p_sourc
    e=External
I have tried to use this code but because its for TS 1.0.2 the limits from my multi num test step and my custom steptypes isnt exported. So that doesnt fulfill my needs.
Is there an updated version with all sequences added to TS 3.0? Is there other good solutions to my problem out there?

    Hi David Mc,
Thanks for your reply. I have already considered this solution because the source code is added in the folder described in your reply. But that is not a good solution. It will cost me a lot of time to establish the toolchain, reverse engineer the source code, make the implementations and build a new dll (most off these is already knowledge by NI). And when NI make future releases of TestStand I have some merge work to do every time NI have made some changes in the files I have changed.
But as I write above: I have hoped that NI already has/or could made a solution like the one to 1.0.2 (see link in root) to me. And then they could include it in the next version.
I don't think I am the only one in the TestStand world that ne

  • APEX Interactive Report - CSV Export Limitations?

    Hello,
I have an interactive report generated for some users.
The issue I'm having right now is that the results that the users need is over 100k and the export to csv option caps out at 65,535 rows. Is this a limitation on APEX Interactive Report's side and is there anyway to get around it so we can send 100k records (or more) to the users without them splitting the report many ways?
    Thanks in advance.
    Ivan

    Ivan,
I'm afraid that I can't answer your question. The APEX insiders will have to field that one.
As one that dislikes voluminous reports, have tried swaying your users that you now have this great interface to drill to the data you need versus downloading gobs of data and filling up their hard drives. Ask if there is something else your application can do that they would do with all that data in Excel.

  • Iphoto 08 image export limitation (!?)

    Hi,
It used to be that you could export all your images out of iPhoto if need be. Why is it now limiting me to 60 photos at a time? And, if there's no way to do it in program, what is good work-around?
    Appreciate any insight here.
    Thx!

Never mind...had it set to Facebook utility instead of just files. Doh!

  • Jpg export limited to 2000px from 4256px RAW?  Aperture 2.1.4

hi, i have the problem, that when i export from 4256px RAW (D700) files jpgs that should be in original dimensions (i choosed that in the setting), i always get jpg files with only 2000px. if i export PSD, everything is fine. is there a limitation or is it my mistake?
    thanks !

ps: sorry for my english, it was a long day....

Something is not set correctly -- it should be full pixels if you have chosen JPEG Original as the selection when Exporting. With JPEG Original chosen in the Export window, click on Edit and see what is reported.
Btw, while I do not have D700, I have some images I shot with one in a test, and thus could test with one of those to check before I posted.

  • SQL Developer Export Limitation of CLOB columns

    Hello Everyone,
Would anyone happen to know if there is a column size limitation when exporting data (excel, text, etc) from the results query results pane? There appears to be a 4000 byte limitation. Specifically, I am attempting to export sql results that contain clobs which are storing XML messages.
Is this a known limitation and if so, is there any expectation of this being enhanced?
    I am using the following:
    Windows XP SP3
SQL Developer 2.1.0.63 (also happens on the 1.5 branch)
    Oracle Server 10.2.0.4
    Oracle Client 10.2.0.1
    Thanks,
    Ronnie

    Yes, that's correct.
If you want this enhanced, add a request at the SQL Developer Exchange, so other users can vote and add weight for possible future implementation.

  • Export limits?

When trying to export a file out to a raster format, I'm given the options of "screen", "medium", "high" or custom resolutions. For this particular file, (50" x 50") "screen" resolution creates a 3600 x 3600 file in about 15 seconds. "Medium" creates a 7500 x 7500 file in about 90 seconds, and "High" gives me an error message: "The combination of artwork size and resolution exceeds the maximum that can be rasterized". I get that message even if I go from "medium" (150ppi) to 175ppi.
Can anyone tell me what the maximum that can be rasterized is? It looks like Illustrator doesn't want to handle a raster image larger than about 60MB, and that seems really low.
Activity Monitor doesn't show me anywhere near running out of memory when the exports are running.
    (Mac Pro 8-core 2.8GHz, 10GB RAM, OS X 10.5.5, Illustrator CS4)

Check your document raster setting, it could be in conflict with a high res rasterization. Another possibility is scratch disk space and/or fragmentation could be limiting enough scratch to pull-off the operation.

  • Ical export limitations ?

I have an Ical calendar with about 4.000 events (back to 1940) each time I try to export this calendar after a while the beachball is spinning and the activity monitor tells me "Ical does not respond" but if i look at the monitor are still some activities going on. Are there any limitations ?
Even if i try to copy more than 40 events same thing is happen.
    Any ideas

im08 will only allow you to export a movie up to the size of the source video. So if your source is 640 x 480 it will allow you to export to 640 x 480, but if your source is 640 x 432 it will only allow you to export to the one below 640 x 480 (forget what that is right now).
This has always been the case and hasn't changed with 10,5. The reason you might think it has is because if you drop a photo into the project for example with a resolution of 1600 x1200 for example, then it will allow you to export up to that size, limited by the max export resolution of 960 x 540 of course.

  • OMF and AAF exports -limited functionality now with 'raw' DSLR audio files.

I'm an post production sound mixer...and a film maker and thus I see PP CS5 from 2 sides. I'm using CS5 with a PC.
The industry uses OMF or AAF to export from a video workstation to an audio one. However PP CS5's OMF and AAF are both flawed.
I often had trouble exporting OMF's (from CS4) which failed without any reason popping up from the software. I usually believed this to be because of the OMF's restriction to 2Gb so I exported single tracks when I believe the source files are large...even when specifing say only 50 frame handles.
AAF more often worked with large files but the exports become large of course (that's OK) and all video material had to be deleted in the sequence before doing an AAF export.
I am now using CS5 and dropping my Canon 5D2 'H264' and Panasonic GH-1 'mts' files directly on the timeline instead of converting them to avi's with Neoscene. Great ...but alas all OMF's or AAF exports now fail....they will only work if I get my audio back to being wav files again, which isn't really viable once editing has occurred.
I know that OMF is fraught...Avid never made it easy but AAF is a more up to date exchange protocol. Could I request that this is investigated and an intermediate  transcode to something like wav or AIFF be undertaken by Media Encoder when an AAF export is used? I assume that the encoder doesn't yet know how to process audio .movs or mts files into the required export audio file and just kills the process.
David Taylor  Postfade Sound  Pinewood Studios UK

    Stan,
Thanks for the suggestion...I submitted a Bug Report.
I used both OMF and AAF to export from PP CS4 to my professional Fairlght DAW, which was happy with either, as long as the export was succesful. As I said there were occasional problems with OMF even though I selected small 'audio handles' for the 'embedded' OMF exports. My source audiofiles are often pretty big. AAF worked with these big source files however.
However I always used Neoscene to transcode my DSLR files before importing the Neoscene converted .AVI's into CS4, the audio was part of the new .AVI's and was probably now a .WAV.
Now with CS5 I can drop the Canon 5D2's 'H264. mov's' or the Panasonic GH-1's '.mts' video files directly into PP-which plays them beautifully.
My trouble now starts when I try and export the edited audio to my DAW. I can only get it to work with source files that are .WAV.
I don't think other professional users, like all those new PP CS5 machines at the BBC, will be happy with the compromised OMF/AAF exports either as so many of us are using DSLR's now.

  • Export to spreadsheet from program result list (ALV Grid) via the web

    Hello alles!
When executing a program (a report) using SAP WebGUI or the portal (Manager's Desktop/Launchpad etc.), exporting the result list to a spreadsheet doesn't seem to work. No error message, browser doesn't really hang, but nothing happens. Neither Excel, nor XML export, nor anything works.
Export from the same program works just fine in SAP GUI.
(SAP Note 314568 has some information about ALV Grid export limitations, but I can't make the XML export work either...)
Could this be a configuration error in ITS? In that case, where..?
Or is it something we just need to live with?
    Thank you in advance!
    Brgds, Caroline

There is a known problem regarding exportation to Excel.
    Try the following path :
    Tools --> Macro --> Security
Then go to the "Trusted Publishers" tab and tick the "Trust acess to Visual Basic Project" option.
    This should do the trick.

  • Exporting to Flash Question.

My client created individual Captivate demos. I would like to
import them into flash and place them on a custom background with
logo as well as build a flash menu to jump from Captivate section
    to section.
I'm wondering if when exporting a file to flash then opening
up in the Flash environment how will Flash build/ display the
content on the timeline, how much can I edit it and will it publish
out of Flash and display fine? Is there anything from Captivate
that will get lost in this process such as audio or playback
quality, etc.... I would try this myself but I'm on a Mac, our PC
has the Captivate demo with no flash (I believe you need both
programs in order to have the export option available) and I don't
want to purchase flash for this computer if it won't do what I need
    it to.
    Hope someone can help,
    Thanks,
    Jason

    Hello Jason,
Please find below the current Captivate 2 Export limitations:
508 compliance: At this time none of
the 508 compliance extensions export to Flash. If this is a
critical aspect of your project, you may want to consider other
options to address all of your accessibility requirements in Adobe
    Captivate.
    Interface skin: Skins are not
exported through the Flash export function. This means that if your
project uses the new Adobe Captivate 2 menu feature of skins, you
must manually recreate that functionality in the Flash
    environment.
    Navigation bar: Adobe Captivate
currently does not export the navigation bar used in the interface
skin. If you use this asset in your project, you must manually
create or add it to your Flash project.
    Advanced compression: Advanced
compression occurs specifically as part of the Adobe Captivate
    publish process.
    Slide transitions: Transitions added
to slides are not exported to the Flash environment. If you prefer
to use transitions, you must rebuild the slide-level transitions in
    the Flash development environment.
    Real-time synchronization: Adobe
Captivate does not export items recorded using the "real-time"
option to the Flash environment. Although the objects exist, the
export process does not retain the timings.
You can learn more about exporting to Flash by reading the
excellent article by Scott Young -

  • SubReport Data not Exported to Excel Crystal Version10

    Hi,
I have a main report and subreport in page header which displays Company Name ,
When I export the report data to excel only the main report data is exported no subreport data is exported.
Please can anyone let me know if this is a bug ... or am I missing out anything.
I am using crystl reports version 10
    Cheers
    Rahul

    Hi Rahul
As the subreport is placed in the page header, it will not export the data of the subreport to MS Excel Data only. This is an export limitation.
In order to display the data of the subreport you can either use MS Excel (not Data only) or place the subreport in other sections of the main report.
    Thanks

  • Export to excel. Subreport blank rows generated.

    Dear Forum
Hoping you can help with a query.
I have a report that has 3 subreports all are supressed if blank and not shown during preview or print.
When i try and export the report to excel the returning result is a series of blank rows in excel.
I know the subreports are the root cause of the issue as when each of them is supressed my blank row count reduces accordingly.
Is this a know issue or is there indeed a resolution.
Thank you forum for your assisatnce as ever
    With Kind Regards
    Paul Marks

    Hi Paul,
Sorry to be a downer but It has been my experience that the more complex a report is the more problems I have when exporting especially to excel.
Below is a link to the export limitations of Crystal 10...I haven't found a newer version for XI or 2008.  This document doesn't give an exact explanation for each limitation but sometimes it's enough to know that there is an issue related to exporting your report.  In your case there are limitations related to exporting suppressed items to an excel spreadsheet.
    [Crystal Reports 10 - Export Limitations|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/boc/index?rid=/library/uuid/d0b01060-3a62-2b10-73a1-d03a6c634914]
I don't know how much data you have but my suggestion is to try exporting your report to a csv file instead because suppression is not as much a problem when exporting to that format.  CSV files can be opened directly by Excel you are just missing any nice formatting.
If you need a nicely formatted spreadsheet, create a standalone spreadsheet formatted the way you want and either paste in the data from your exported Crystal report or link to the data in the csv file.  I have found this type of conversion takes a little longer to set up but is much easier to maintain.
If you do decide to export to csv format i must also suggest that the report be formatted for export (this also helps with data dumps to excel):
    1. Start rows of data at the left most margin and align any subsequent rows with this position.
    2. Make sure the next column (to the right) always starts where the last column ends.  This ensures no blank columns get inserted between your data.  Subsequent rows should have columns aligned in size and count to ensure proper layout.
    3. Make sure all objects in a row have the exact same height and use the "fit to section" command to prevent extra rows from being generated.
    4. Suppress all sections that do not contain any objects needed in your export.
    5. If your data isn't too wide (less than 256 bytes but it can be more if the printer driver used can print at a high dpi setting) consider using a formula to create each row of data i.e. properly padded for space delimited or with the commas where you want them for csv etc).  This also gives you more control on how each data type is formatted.
Sorry to be so long winded but I hope this helps with your exporting.

  • File size limit on export doesn't.

I have an export option for a photo forum I post to, where the size limit is 200kb. I have set 200kb, 600x600 JPG as the export limits, and I routinely get files much bigger, memory-wise, than that, up to 260kb.
I can set the export dimension limit to 500x500, and still get files over 200kb. Today, after a file went to 260kb at 600x600, I set the dimension limit to 500x500, and the exported file size did not change: at 500x500, it was still a 260kb file. If I go through and tweak compression by hand, on every photo, or set a file size limit of 150kb, I can get under 200kb per file.
I've tried files where I set the limit from 200, to 190, to 180, to 170, and see no change in the exported file (still well over 200 in size), and then when I set it to 160 it jumps down to 150-160 in size. If the file was only 210kb on export with the 200kb limit, setting it to 180kb will generally get the file under 200kb.
Really, the file size limit does not do what it purports to do. It can clearly get the file below that size if I direct it by hand every time: I haven't specified anything that would artificially bulk the file up, like a quality setting that would be incompatible with the file size limit. It's free to compress the file as needed to meet the limit.
What I want it to do is meet the limit I set for it. I shouldn't have to dance around. I have this export setting for the express purpose of quickly producing under-200kb files, and I sort of expect Lightroom to manage it.

I've had this problem too, but it isn't the only one when creating small jpeg files from LR.
There is something seriously amiss in the export module. I also create a lot of 600 pixel wide/high files and not only are the file sizes far too high, but the quality is poor. I have two workarounds for this, both of which add a little time to the job, but make a big difference.
First is to export my files as full size jpegs (which I do anyway,) LR does a good job with these. Then get another programme to batch process these to give me the small sRGB files I also need!
Second is to use LR's web module and create a basic html site for a batch of images in a folder in a temp directory at the precise size I want. This has the advantage that I can add a watermark. Then just rename and move the folder containing the images from the web folder that has been created to where I want them, followed by deleting the rest of the web folder.
Working at low quality (38%) from the Export module gave me a file size for one image of 455KB. So then I told it to export at a max of 200KB, and it came out at 565KB.  Using the web module with quality set at 70 gave a higher quality result and a file size of 105KB!
The problem seems to be worse on images where I've done quite a bit of work using local adjustments - rather as if they are actually performing these on the small jpeg and re-saving each time. Certainly something going very wrong - just like it was in LR2.x and I think it must be a logical error as presumably the web module uses the same library to create jpegs.

  • Limitation with Eloqua Bulk API

    Hi,
We are planning to develop a connector for data extraction from Eloqua to load into Birst and would like to understand any limitation with Bulk API.
    Thanks,
    Anil

    Hi Anil,
The below listed limitations are present in the Bulk API Guide:
    4.12 Bulk API Limits
    4.12.1 General Limits
Number of syncs permitted per 24hr period: 2000 This limit is not currently enforced, but is logged and monitored.
    4.12.2 Import and Export Limits
Maximum import size: 32MB. The import will fail if the data source is larger than 32MB. To import a data source larger than 32MB, you can perform multiple POST requests. For extremely large data sources, the import should be synced periodically, i.e. once 250 MB of data has been POSTed.
Maximum export size: 50,000 records per page. The export will fail if you attempt to export more than 50,000 records in a single page at one time. If you need to export more than 50,000 records at a time, you can filter your request by date range and make separate requests for different date ranges.
Maximum fields that can be included in one export: 100 fields. The export will fail if you include more than 100 fields in the export definition.
Maximum sync size: 5,000,000 records. The sync will fail if you attempt to sync more than 5 million records
If planning for specific large exports, you can create filter statements in your export definition.
