Exporting Markers - Modifying Template

Hi,
When exporting markers, is it possible to modify the export template? I'd like to remove a few columns of data that are not necessary for my desired log.

Thanks for the quick reply! Only downside to cleanup in Excel is the loss of thumbnails.
My current logging need is to report 3rd Party Media Usage within a finished program. Here we really only need IN/OUT/DUR and COMMENT field. Thumbnail export is a great bonus! (I used Sub-Clip to create a quick test.)
It would be a nice feature to be able to select what data to display on export, or modify a template.

I would love to see some more robust naming options when exporting markers to files. The addition of prefix and postfix fields comes in handy, but it would be fantastic if I could create my own separator instead of being stuck with the underscore. I frequently have to batch out my files, then open a second program to batch rename all of my files to simply remove or replace the underscores.
As a bit of an after-thought. It would also be wonderful to be able to modify the default name of my markers -- or to be able to find/replace across all marker names to for instance remove the word "Marker" and only leave the digits behind.

I regularly record IVR files that need to be exported into thousands of precisely-named wav files drawn from a table supplied by my client. In Sound Forge I can export the regions to a .csv, copy-past the new names in in Excel, import the same region list & export all 1000-plus renamed files in the time it took me to write this.
I need the option to export a marker list or playlist to a text file or table, in Audition. It surely can't be that difficult.

XML tags in an "export : XML" Report Template

Hi All,
I'm using the export XML report template to produce XML from a query. One of the column contains XML tags and the template is translating eg: if the column is "Groups" then I get:
<Groups>& lt ;Group& gt ;Sales & lt ;/Group & gt ; & lt ;Group& gt ;IT& lt ;/Group& gt ;</Groups>(ignoring all the spaces - OTN is translating the & gt 's :)
instead of:
<Groups><Group>Sales<Group><Group>IT</Group></Groups>Is there an easy way to stop this ?

Getting an error message when trying to save a template in Pages. It's saying that it can't be exported as a template. Help!

I'm trying to save a Pages document as a custom template but everytime I try, I receive the following error message:
The document “AuctionItemInfo.pages” could not be exported as “AuctionItemInfo.template”.
Any advice?

Several users have had this problem in Mountain Lion. The system has decided you don't have read/write permissions. Have you done any updates to your system lately? Using Disk Utility to repair permissions after any upgrade or update, especially to the system, is a good practice. So first, I would repair permissions & then if you still have the problem, locate the file in Finder & go to File > Get Info & look in the Sharing & Permissions section. You should be the only one with read/write permissions but something has happened. Click on the words under "priveledge" next to your name & change it to read & write. You will probably have to enter your admin password.

Export markers from final cut pro x to dvdsp as chapters

FCP 7 supports exporting movie with markers which then can be chapters in DVDSP.
Great.
But how can I achieve the same end using FCP X, my editing tool of choice?

DVDSP has an "import markers . . ." menu option.
Does FCP X have an export markers feature?
Might there be an .xml feature we can use?
Can we expect this capability to arrive so I can create chapter markers in my FCP project and not have to repeat the chapter creation process as double work in DVDSP?

How to export markers in Midi files?

For a multi media application I have export logic songs as midi files including markers. There is no checkbox like "Export Markers". Does anyone know how to do that?

How to Export a modified Tiff photo ?

I have modified a tiff photo in LR, but when I export it, I get the original version without the changes .
For example I cropped a tiff in the develop module , went to library where the cropped photo is shown, export it , and I get the uncropped version.
So how do I export the modified (cropped) version of this tiff photo ?

What export settings have you selected?
The only thing I can think of is make sure you do not have "original" selected under File Settings>Format in the export dialog. Should be JPEG, TIFF.

How to Transport/Export GP Email Template

Hi, SDN Fellow.
I have created a GP transport package from GP Design Time> Administration> Transport.
The transport went well, and all the process instances & dependencies are included in the checklist.
Since I am using a few custom email templates in couple callable objects. I don't really see them in the transport check list.
My question: Is the transport also includes the email templates I created and used in the CO that included in the transport package?
If not, how do I export the email templates?

So, in other words, you're saying that it's not possible to export directly objects (like smart albums) that reside outside of projects?
I know, for example, you can "export" anything created inside a folder by dragging and dropping the folder to another library; but you then have to rebuild the library to get the new folder and its contents to be recognized. For my library, this takes too much time to do.

Export iDVD menu template as movie...

Has anyone figured on a way to export an iDVD template (with content in the drop zones) for use in other apps such as Final Cut. I've done this with iMovie and it works great, but there doesn't seem to be a way in iDVD other than burning it to a DVD and capturing it after it's been compressed.

I don't believe it's possible because you have to encode in order to get the footage.
You can encode, and then demux, and use MPEG Streamclip to extract the template, but you'll get a quality hit.

Export markers to Quicktime

When I export a project to Quicktime, I'm not able to export markers as a part of the file. When I import the exported file into Premiere, the markers aren't there.

Sequence markers, as reference points for Chapter Markers in DVD Studio Pro.

Export Unix Commands Templates in ARD

I was looking for a way to export my unix command templates and came across this thread without a conclusion.

After digging around myself, I found that the com.apple.RemoteDesktop.plist mentioned in the previous didn't contain my unix commands.
Long story short, they are located in Users/$username/Library/Application Support/Remote Desktop/Presets/UnixCommandTask.plist
Copy the UnixCommandTask.plist around and you're set.
Should work for 10.6 and up and maybe below too.

you can easily change the serial to a different one
after copying the plist file from within ARD.
Preferences > General > Change Serial Number
so why is it not a good idea?
Cause the preference files stores all clients data.
So if I want to use that preferencesfile to another client,
it will surely show the other clients data like missing.
I havent tried this. Just my guess, but you right about
the serial.
Send the unix commands:
networksetup -help
and
systemsetup -help
This commands just show the build in templates commands.
I want to export my own templates, without remaking them
on every clients server. No big deal but anyway...

Modify template behaviour

Does any one know of an extension that will modify
Dreamweaver to allow me to add an editable region to a template
that appears before the document headers are sent.
The reason I need this is so I can create templates that have
php script before the headers are sent that is not locked with the
codeOutsideHTMLIsLocked="false".
I actually want to have some php script that is in the
template (so it is added and updated on all pages based on that
template) so I have to lock the code outside the HTML. But I need
to allow page specific code to be added outside the HTML as well.
Has anyone got any ideas?

Can not modify template CR 8.8 of SAP

Hi all!
I have problem when i modify the template CR 8.8 of SAP that i downloaded form portal of SAP.
File name: XX-1.2.b1p
After i modified the template with some work as insert logo, modify text,.... and then i attached in to SAP B1 8.8 but when i print this template, error appears.
