Exporting My Pages to HTML?

How do I export the pages I create to HTML so that I can upload these from another program such as Homestead? Please advise.

Matt ~ Welcome to the discussions. To export your iWeb site's HTML, in the Site Publishing Settings choose +Publish to: Local Folder+. Here's a video tutorial briefly showing that option:

  • Export Web page in html format -- Safari

    Outlook Express provided an option to export a page as html (graphics and all) and I can then open that page as html and covert it to a .doc file. That's on PC. I use that option to tell my Web guru what changes I'd like her to make on a specific page.
    Safari does not seem to offer that option. What I have there is "Web Archive" and "Page Source" and I can't do anything with that--or can I?--to get it properly formatted--just as it appears on Safari in Word.
    Any suggestions?

  • Embed an Exported Muse Page Using "Insert HTML"?

    Hello All,
    I'd like to export a Muse page to HTML, then embed that entire page into another Muse page using Insert HTML. I've done some experimenting and haven't yet gotten it to work.
    I'm familiar with embedding html in Muse, including the linking of external css stylesheets and js libraries, and I'm also reasonably skilled in post-editing my Muse pages in Dreamweaver. But this has me stumped.
    Anyone have any experience to share? Thanks!
    bart

    Hi Bart,
    I am not sure why you want to first export the page and then embed it as HTML in another Muse page. However, you can copy all the content from a page and use the "paste in place" option from Edit menu and all the content will be placed as it is on the source page.

  • Exporting pages to html

    So, I exported a Pages file I created to a pdf file. I then tried to export from a pdf file to html. Everything showed up but the order was all mixed around. Is there a way to go directly from Pages to an html page?

    Hi Cybergrace,
    Welcome to Pages discussions.
    The answer to your question about going to HTML is: Not in Pages 3
    The above information is taken from using the Search function in these discussions. Being as you're new to Pages discussions please accept my suggestion to do the following:
    1. In the upper right of Discussions, just below Search Discussions more options, click in the Search box type your request such as, HTML, then press return
    2. Change Restrict by Category or Forum: to iWork > Pages,
    3. Change Restrict by Date Range: to All,
    4. Click search; you'll receive many hits.
    Looking through them you will find your question—it has been asked numerous times. Prior to posting a question use Search, many other questions have been asked, their answers will provide direct solutions, tips, or workarounds. Also use the regular Apple Support as well; http://www.apple.com/search/support/.
    After doing all that if you cannot find your question or an appropriate answer to your question then by all means ask your question. Truly we'll be pleased to assist you.
    These Discussions are user helping user, not Apple employees answering the question. Questions will be answered when a user such as yourself finds time, desires to, knows the answer along with the time to respond.
    Send feedback directly to the Pages team for a HTML enhancement request: at the top of your screen to the right of the blue Apple please click "Pages" > "Provide Pages Feedback". I've sent many as well.
    Let's hope the next version of iWork incorporates many of the requested enhancements.
    Thank you in advance for doing that.
    Again, welcome to Pages Discussions, have fun here.
    Sincerely,
    RicD

  • How to export the report in HTML format for desktop application

    Hi,
    i have wrote the JRC desktop application to export the report and i am able to export it in PDF and other formats as mentioned in "ReportExportFormat" API.
    i would like to know is there any API there which can export the report in HTML format.
    i know it would be possible with web based application of JRC, but how can i do it in desktop application?

    There's no mechanism for static HTML pages that displays the report.
    You can use the CrystalReportViewer DHTML viewer, but that's 'interactive'.

  • Export single-page pdfs with page name

    I've been looking for a script that:
    - exports every page of an indesign file to a seperate single-page pdf (or other filetypes)
    - names the pdf with the name of a page -> this is the hard part to find
    The reason i could use it: i have a 200+ page file with productspecs. I would like to export every page with the correct productname. (extracting pdfs in acrobat is not a problem, but then i have to manually rename every file)
    I'm not sure how to name the pages, as it's not a function in indesign. Ideal would be to be able to "tell" indesign: this textframe = the pagename, so it wouldn't be necessary to label the page seperately.
    I'm not a scripter. I searched the forum and found some info on this already, but not a working script including automatic pagenaming.
    I did found an old post where someone points to such a script, but i can't find it:
    http://www.techplex.net/postsm40018_possible-to-name-pages.html#post40018
    Did anyone ever made/found/used such a script?
    (btw, a similar script for illustrator artboards would be very useful too!)
    Any help appreciated!

    scott zanelli made one years ago. does a fantastic job.

  • How to Export InDesign Interactivities into HTML 5 without converting it through any tool?

    I created some simple InDesign Interactivities like Drag and Drop, Text Input Fields, Drawing, Multiple check box, Radio selection, Drop Down etc.
    When i export that interactivities in HTML, It will give me output of HTML page with interactivity in flash file. I expect that interactivities JavaScripts, CSS files. I also refer other suggestions on Adobe InDesign forum like below
    1. http://forums.adobe.com/message/4962514
    2. http://forums.adobe.com/message/4447318#4447318
    3. http://forums.adobe.com/message/4907133#4907133
    They suggested Export interactivities into .fla/.swf and Convert it into javascript and Css using some online tolls like wallaby or Swiffy.
    Is there any direct way available in InDesign that will give me proper HTML output with JavaScript and CSS that also compatible with devices like iPad, iPhone, Smartphones and other mobile devices?

    They suggested Export interactivities into .fla/.swf and Convert it into javascript and Css using some online tolls like wallaby or Swiffy.
    Last I checked Swiffy and Wallaby have limited ActionScript capabilities—they work best with simple timeline animations. I doubt you'd have much sucess converting ID .swf exports.

  • Export multiple page indd as individual pdfs.

    I've been racking my brain on this.
    I have a very long indd that needs to be sent as hirez pdfs to the printer (don't ask me why, I don't know). Each page needs to be it's own pdf. I know I can export each page individually, or export it as one .pdf and extract each page manually, but is there a way/script out there to export each page individually as a pdf automatically?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    take a look at the good old ExportEachPageAsPDF.js of the tutorial 'Working with Documents' in http://www.hilfdirselbst.ch/foren/Einzel-PDFs_exportieren_P193960.html#193960

  • Pages to HTML

    I'm trying to create an e-mail newsletter for a small home business and I was wondering if it's possible to convert a document I made in pages into html?

    This question was asked and responded several times.
    I don't know Apple's plans and, if I was aware of them, it would be under Non Disclosure Agreement so I would not write about them here.
    The code exporting to HTML in Pages '06 gave so poor result that it was a good idea to drop it and, from my point of view, it's a bad idea to ask to a Word Processor program to generate HTML code. It would be more efficient to use dedicated tools for this task.

  • NEED HELP! How do I export UTF-8 encoded HTML to PDF?

    Right now my HTLM to output is in Japanese, and encoded in UTF-8 format.
    I tried to use html_entity_decode(), however that does not work, all I get are a bunch of weird characters.
    If anyone have any experience with exporting UTF-8 encoded HTML in Japanese or any foreign glyph-like language to PDF, please help me on this.

    In File/Document Setup do you have bleed set to 0?
    Yeah.
    [Jongware] wrote:
    What are 'the obvious export settings'? You are looking at these as well?
    Right. Export > Marks and Bleeds. (I was posting from my phone and couldn't check InDesign to see what it was called.) Those are my settings, at any rate.
    With its default settings, there are no 'blue' bleed lines. You may have changed its color (this can be done in Preferences), or you may mistake the default Purple of margins for blue, or you may mistake any empty frame for 'bleed' (as the default 'new layer' color is blue). Or maybe someone did draw a blue frame to act as 'Bleed' -- but calling it that is not going to work. InDesign can only use its own kind of Bleed, the one you set up in Page Size, that displays outside of the Document Page, and that you can switch off in the PDF Export dialog
    Sorry, I was wrong about about the colour, too. I need it to be cropped to the line I have circled in red - it's the innermost border.

  • Exporting Crystal Report to HTML is not working in Windows 7

    Hi Sir,
    I am trying to export Crystal Report to HTML format using VB.NET code. Functionality is working fine at Windows XP Environment (Save to Disk, Open an Application and Email Attachment). But the same functionality is not working at Windows 7 Environment (both 32-Bit as well as 64-Bit).
    Below is the code to Exporting Crystal Report to HTML in VB.NET.
    Dim CrDiskFileDestinationOptions As New DiskFileDestinationOptions
    Dim CrFormatTypeOptions          As New HTMLFormatOptions
    Dim vFormat As Integer
    Dim CrExportOptions As New ExportOptions
    Dim vRdReport As New ReportDocument
    Dim sfd As SaveFileDialog
    Dim vFileName As String = Nothing
    vRdReport = vRptSource
    sfd = New SaveFileDialog
    If Not (vRptPath = "") Then
        sfd.InitialDirectory = vRptPath
    End If
    sfd.Filter = "Webpage, Complete(.htm;.htm)|.htm|Web Archive, Single file(.mht)|.mht|Webpage, HTML only(.htm;.html)|.html"
    If sfd.ShowDialog = DialogResult.OK Then
        ' Set the disk file options.
         CrDiskFileDestinationOptions.DiskFileName = sfd.FileName.ToString()
    Else
         Return
    End If
    CrExportOptions = vRdReport.ExportOptions
    CrFormatTypeOptions.HTMLFileName = vFileName
    CrFormatTypeOptions.HTMLEnableSeparatedPages = True
    CrFormatTypeOptions.HTMLEnableSeparatedPages = True
    CrFormatTypeOptions.HTMLHasPageNavigator = True
    CrFormatTypeOptions.UsePageRange = True
    With CrExportOptions
                        .ExportDestinationType = ExportDestinationType.DiskFile
                        .ExportFormatType = ExportFormatType.HTML32
                        .DestinationOptions = CrDiskFileDestinationOptions.DiskFileName
                        .FormatOptions = CrFormatTypeOptions
    End With
    vRdReport.Export()
    Catch ex As Exception
            MsgBox(ex.ToString)
    End Try
    Code working fine at Windows XP, But it is not woking in Windows 7 environment.

    It looks like inheritance is broken in the component hierarchy for JFrame in Windows 7 JDK 1.6.0_23-b05. The only thing remotely related to inheritance in your code snippet is the WindowListener, which does little. See camickr's advice about built-in exit management.
    EDIT - using the post title as a clue, I realize you may be talking about the component hierarchy, and whether the contentPane's background is visible through the upper layers. Instead of guessing, I'd prefer you describe your "issue" accurately (observed vs expected behavior).

    the ReportExportFormat class does not have HTML format, it has got to be XML. Export to HTML is available from CR Designer only.

  • Print, Export and Page Navigation Buttons in the Report

    When I view a report through CR4E, the generated report has 3 buttons namely Print, Export and Page Navigation buttons. But when I click on either of the buttons I get a 'null pointer exception'. This is a critical error as I am unable to navigate past the first page. Do I have to add code to these buttons? If not, why am I getting an error? Kindly solve my problem as soon as possible.

    <p>Looking at your code it appears that you are storing the ReportSource in session prior to passing in the ResultSet. This will create a problem when a postback is made on  the viewer page (which all of the viewer actions do). If you look at the sample code which is generated when you use the JSP Page Wizard you will notice that the ResultSet is passed to the ReportClientDocument object prior to it being stored in session. Then, when the page is called again this object is retrieved and the ReportSource is used by the viewer. You can quickly run the test using one of our sample reports to see what I am talking about. • Can I use preview to export multiple page PDF as jpegs?

    Using Preview, I export multiple page PDF as jpeg and results are the first page only as jpeg. Can I use preview to export multiple page PDF as jpeg for every page?

    Automator is great for this if you need to export many pages to JPG, or just have to do this often.
    Two other quick and dirty way sto get it done:
    (1) Enable thumbnail view, click on the ONE PAGE you want to convert to jpg, then choose "export." If you choose more than one page, only the first will get exported to jpg.
    (2) Create a copy of the file, delete all the pages except the one you want to export to JPG, and export that page. You may be able to "undo" the delete, get all your pages back again, and re-delete all but the one you want to export, etc. I would not recommend doing this on the original version of the file because of Preview's autosave so-called "feature."
