Exporting my SWF from my FLV movie but it doesnt play! Help

Hi All,
Ok im a real beginner here and need some of your expert help.
This is the deal.
Im working between Dreamweaver & Flash cs4
Now i have a FLV video clip that i want play on a webpage with a full screen option so this is what im doing:
File > Import > Video
On my computer > Browse > (Found my file 17.8mb) > Load external video with playback component > continue
Skin: SkinOverPlayStopSeekFullVol.swf
Now its been imported i export it into my directory that im upload to my server (the swf file is now 59kb)
In dreamweaver drag the file onto my webpage and upload. When i view the page online it gives me an empty white box. Meaning its not playing.
What am i doing wrong? Please forgive my lack of skills, im a newbie!!

Besides the tiny little .swf file, you also need to upload the .flv video file, any skin you may be using (another .swf file) as well as any javascript file used for Flash detection. So there may be 3 or 4 files that need uploading, not just one.

I did this by going into the folder where the Amazon MP3's were and copied the link into iTunes under the add file link in the menu. This music was purchased before I had an iTunes account so I wasn't aware that they could've been automatically exported. I still have the iTunes MP3s on my iPhone. Could I sync them over or something to that extent because I can't find the files at all even when doing a system search.

If you are downloading from iTunes, once the download is complete, you should be able to play it offline. Make sure it did complete. Mopvies are very large files so can take a while to download dependng on your internet connection.
If you are downloading from another service such as Netflix or Amazon it may not have that option.

Dreamweaver I import swf from flash,it previews,but when I try to export to browswer nothing happens

In Dreamweaver I import a .swf from flash, it previews fine but when I try to export it to a browser I get nothing....Any ideas on what I could be missing?

Problem exporting to .swf from ID CS5

Hello all. I have an 18-page InDesign document with animation, buttons, etc and just tried exporting it as a swf. I get a separate swf file for every page, but my client has requested a single swf file containing all the pages. I just watched a video where the user exported their ID doc as a swf and the final product had all the pages. The export window in ID seems pretty straightforward... Can anybody tell me what I am missing? Do I need to combine the swf files in Flash?

Thank you for your response. I think I've figured out the problem. I was using the SWF presenter script in InDesign. It exports every page as a swf and places them back into InDesign automatically in their own layer. It is very useful when your final product will be a pdf and you want the pdf to support the animations you have created. That is why I ended up with 18 separate swfs.
I tried exporting the manual way as a swf and I now have all of my pages in one file.

I have the same problem. Rented a movie, cannot get it to play. I don't seem to be having internet connection problems (sucessfully streaming HD content from Netflix right now on the same device) and I have rebooted and even reset the AppleTV device already with no improvement.
Something going on in a data center somewhere at Apple tonight? This stuff used to work fine.

Ok, I was an old fool, there is indeed a setting on the Lumix LX5 camera which seems to allows both audio and video, although not AVC HD, the camera must be set to Motion JPEG and subsequently NOT to PICT Bridge, rather to PC for the output. Anyone who decides to purchase a Panasonic Lumix should be aware of this. The iPad 2 will display Lumix perfectly in 720p which is enough for the old fool. The Sony NEX5N at twice the cost will do 1080p, but on the iPad and our TV the difference I suspect will not be noticeable.

Syncing from iPhotos with .mov that cannot be played?

I get a message when syncing from iPhoto because a .mov file cannot be played on my iPad. What options do I have besides checking [] Do not warn me again?

That will be a way to get it to my iPad. I expect it will still fail to synchronize with my iPhoto.
When I check of to not tell me that the synchronization failed, will it only do so for that particular item? Is there a way to select an album with my iPhoto sync, but exclude that particular video?

HT1498 rented movie but failed to play

Rented a movie but Internet crashed normally would just go back to movie and play it. But it must of crashed a funny time because when i try to play it it says you Have purchased this already and you need to go to settings then downloads to download to movie.
there is no downloads in the apple tv settings.
on a differnt note
since new update playing music from iphone 5 to apple TV takes about a good 10 seconds to connect which it didn't before. and volume goes up and down when it feels like it.

ITunes imports songs from an audio CD, but will not play them. Why?

90% of my iTunes music library has come from importing old audio CDs into iTunes. I haven't imported any in a while, but I recently imported an audio album, iTunes recognized the artist and songs, imported into the library bu if I select one in iTunes for playing, it will not play.
The other song's in the library all still play fine so iTunes is working correctly. But the newly imported CD will not play. Seems very strange it recognizes the CD and imports it but will not play. No error, no message, no nothing. What gives?

I think the blue text means that Windows compressed the files when it did a disk cleanup or something. I might be wrong, because I haven't used that disk cleanup feautre in ages - it did things I didn't want it to do.
So google around and find out how to uncompress one, and see if it plays.

I do have an external HD with at least 3T of movies but can not play them at all play them at all they are AVI movies what should i to to play them please help me out

Your intuition is correct. Download a free download of VLC player, and you may end up using it as your default video player. (It's faster and more versatile than QTPlayer.)
When you install it on your MacBook, it willl allow you to view media on your external HD.

I just bought a movie off itunes. not only did it take 90 minutes to download, now it wont play on my monitor.
I have an mac pro book with 10.7.5.
So I downloaded it to my ipad, connected it through HDMI cable to the TV and it refused to play as well. Said the TV monitor was not authorised.
What is the use of paying $30 for a movie when it wont play on any device? I'm not interested in playing a movie on my teeny ipad. I want it on the big screen.
Error message says it is locked?
I thought maybe I could burn it to DVD and then just play it in the Xbox.
