Exporting Outlook 2013's Settings?

Hello,So I've been told that my boss' outlook 2013 settings must be applied to every PC out there. • Outlook 2013 NTLM GPO

I have a exchange 2010 server and outlook clients using outlook 2013.
I've noticed that Outlook 2013 prompts many times for credentials if basic authentication is set. NTLM however does not seem to prompt so much.
I tried to set the GPO in the outlook 2013 template "Microsoft Outlook 2013-Account Settings-exchange-Authentication to exchange server to force NTLM but, it does NOT change on the client.
The GPO is user based and I filtered the GPO based upon just a few test users.
    Any Ideas?

You no need to configure any Outlook template on GPO.
Your Exchange is 2010 right? so this is for outlook anywhere right?
If you want your clients connect via NTML authen for outlook anywhere , you just logon to Exchange Management Console and then on OutlookAnywhere setting >> change Authentication to NTLM (by default is "basic authen")..
After that just waiting for autodiscover process and clients will change it to NTLM by automatically.

  • Outlook 2013 and iCloud contacts and calendar?

What does it take to get outlook 2013 to access my iCloud contacts and calendar?
I can log into ICloud and see my contacts and my calendar.  My iPhone works with iCloud just fine.
However, Outlook 2013 doesn't know iCloud has a calendar or contacts and I cannot access them. I have tried to add my iCloud contact file to Outlook 2013 but i must not be doing that correctly. I have tried to add my ICloud calendar file to outlook 2013 but i must not be doing that correctly either,  In Outlook 2013, when I click on either the "Calendar" or "People" at the bottom of the Outlook screen, what comes up is blank, no contacts, no calendar items.  I can long into iCloud and see the calendar and contacts just fine.
Surely, someone must know how to get this to work. I must not be adding the contact file or calendar file correctly in the Outlook 2013 Account Settings.  I cannot find any place where it discusses these settings.  I have tried to add them as https://www.icloud.com/#contacts or #calendar.  That has not worked.  Can anyone explain to me what I have to do to get these two products to communicate with each other?
    Gary

I have to say that I have gone through this setup several times by removing the check items on the icloud control panel and rechecking them and it accomplished nothing.  This time when I opened up the icloud control panel, the calendar item was unchecked.  Don't know why.  I checked it and it went through a process of moving a few thousand items into outlook.  When I opened outlook, my contacts and calendar items were there.
Thank you for the guidance.  I have contacts and calendar items available now.  Great news.

  • Outlook 2013 says "You cannot add to the server junk email list- you are over the size allowed."

I keep getting the above  message over and over. Then it asks "do you want to manage the junk mail lists".  Of course I have tried that many times with no success.  One particular email continues to show up with a reminder-
when I try to "snooze" the warning, it tells me that the message cannot be found.
In addition, sometimes if I try to view a subfolder other than the inbox, when I return to the inbox, I find a "shadow" group of emails that are about 4 months old. If I click on any of the messages, the program tells me the message cannot
    be found on the servers.
When I close the program and re-start it, the legitimate inbox re-appears.
It's incredibly annoying, but I am hoping that I can get rid of it without deleting and re installing outlook 2013.  I have not tried to re-install the profile- was hoping there would be an easier way.

    Hi,
Please uncheck Use Exchange Cached mode in Outlook 2013 Account Settings. Then confirm if the issue occurs in Outlook Onlinde mode. If the issue doesn't happen in Online mode, please create a new Outlook profile to have a try.
If the issue persists in Online mode, please close Outlook and check whether you would still receive the message over and over in OWA. Also restart Outlook in safe mode to verify if the issue is caused by any third-party add-ins.

  • Email attachments not exporting from outlook 2013 with Acrobat XI standard

I can't get my email attachments in Outlook 2013 to export along with the message.   I've got the option checked in the settings to include attachments, and I don't get an error message when the PDF is created.  But it includes the message only, regardless of whether it's set to output as a portfolio.  I'm using the latest version (11.0.10) of Acrobat XI.  Does anyone have a suggestion on what the problem might be and how I can fix it?  Thanks very much.

    Hey mikem750,
Once you convert the email to PDF, you have to click on Attachments under the Navigation pane. You can then save the attached file and then convert it to PDF format.
Choosing 'include attachments' option under conversion settings will simply include attachments (original format) along with the converted email message.
    Hope this information helps.

  • Outlook 2013: Your Automatic Reply Settings Cannot Be Displayed Because The Server Is Unavailable

When I configure the Outlook profile manually then receive warning "Your Automatic Reply Settings Cannot Be Displayed Because The Server Is Unavailable" when clicking "Automatic Replies (Out of Office)".
However if I use Autodiscover to configure the Outlook profile the above does not occur and "Automatic Replies (Out of Office)" works fine.
    Client: Outlook 2013 Click-to-Run version 15.0.4551.1011 on Windows 7 Pro SP1.
    Server: Exchange 2007 SP3 on Windows SBS 2008 SP2.

    Hi,
First of all, please make sure you have installed this Outlook 2013 hotfix package (December 10, 2013):
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2825652/en-us
    It may fix the issue.
If the hotfix doesn't help, please note, this problem can occur after your primary SMTP address changes. The problem occurs because your previous primary SMTP address is cached in the Windows registry under your Outlook profile and this information does
not get refreshed for 24-48 hours after the SMTP address change.
So please make sure you have configured smtp address correctly, or, we can find some workarounds from the link below:

  • Exchange 2007 / Outlook 2013 "Your Automatic Reply Settings Cannot Be Displayed Because The Server Is Unavailable"

One of our users is having problems setting replies from Outlook on his local PC.  This is an SBS 2008 Server with Exchange 2007.  The client PC is running Windows 8 with Outlook 2013.  This issue doesn't seem to affect other users but this
is the only client with Outlook 2013.
When trying to set an automatic reply from within Outlook 2013 we get the "Your automatic reply settings cannot be displayed because the server is unavailable".  Outlook seems to be connecting and working fine so connection to the server does
    exist.
Trying this same operation from owa works without issue.  Please let me know what we need to do to find a solution.
    Thanks so much!

    Problem:
IMAP downloads inbox don't work after November patches.
If you install a fresh OS and O2K13 unpatched ,the IMAP works fine.
Fully patched O2K10 works fine too.
It worked for my customer until November patch Tuesday broke the IMAP sync.
    Consultant opened case.
    Response from Microsoft:
This is with regards to the issue faced by you due to regression         caused by November security update. This is further to inform         you
that fix is out and below is the download links for 32 bit         and 64 bit of the office suites. You need to apply all 3 hotfix.         The crash issue and IMAP issue would get resolved
immediately         while the issue related to Free / Busy and OOF not getting set         would take 24-36 hours to start working once the patch is
    applied.

User B add the shared calendar and let it sync.
You move User B’s mailbox to Forest B.
In this scenario, the shared data in the shared calendar is         removed every second time that User A restarts Outlook. And it         is re-synced
when User A browses to the Calendar module.
Unfortunately TechNet isn't coming back, sorry folks :-(
The 3 patches above immediately fixed the issue for me!
    Thanks so much!

  • IMAP settings for Outlook 2013

I am getting an "unrecognized response" error when setting up a residential IMAP Account in Outlook 2013 connecting to my Vz email account.
    the account specifics are using
    incoming.yahoo.verizon.net on 995 SSL
    outgoing.yahoo.verizon.net on 465 SSL
    Outgoing requires authentication.
Anyone who can has the right answer to set up an IMAP Account in Outlook 2013?  I think I have the right settings, but I cam getting this crazy error.  And of course, Vz help was not helpful as they do not support IMAP.  They only support easy items that are cheap to support not valuable and functional things clients want/need.
    Carey

Still more POP email accounts in the world then IMAP.
I was never a fan of leaving my message on a server, and like being able to access my email when I don't have internet access.
Imap is of course popular for those with smart phones/devices and not enough memory to store all their messages/attachments on them.

  • How to Export Import vCard contacts in Outlook 2013? Does it convert multiple Contacts at once?

I am using latest edition of Microsoft Outlook 2013. I believed that it will definitely help to convert 1500 vCards contacts into Outlook 2013, all at once, but it is not supported to be possible because, still, Outlook 2013 has not improved in this direction.
Any hope for me rather than exporting or importing contacts one by one???

If it is one time requirement, simply use vbacode but it exports few garbage values. I tried this code and got below given garbage value (in place of image) apart from real one in every vCards. Vbacode did not export images:

If your requirement is on regular basis or permanent and vcards have profile images then simply call to vCard magic application that seems pretty good.

Watching this long discussion I couldn't resist myself to share my view on this topic. Once in a while I too had the same problem and I had to transfer a **** lot of emails from Apple Mail client to Windows Outlook. Imap failed and was of no use for some stupid mail crashing reason. I searched for manual work-arounds and posted many queries on various mac forum sites (including this one). I received many responses as solutions for manual process but none of them could transfer my emails from apple mail to outlook.
I knew about the email converters but never wanted to pay a single penny for them but unfortunately I had too. I bought this apple mail to pst converter mentioned by TON456 and after archiving apple mail data and moving it to windows system, it took the application only three clicks to convert the email file format to the desired one that outlook can import (i.e, .PST). I saw no point in buying the tool but its the fault of email client makers for not providing the proper import/export means (seems kind of mean to me, as they need us to stick to their client only). Big companies like apple and microsoft should figure out this situation and provide free solutions.
On the other hand if Imap crashes (as mine did too) then users like us have no options other than email converters. Though they are costly but there is no help to user in pointing out those solution posts.
To the thread starter I would suggest to go with Imap mail configuration but if it still doesn't work then using the apple mail to pst converter is only way left. Thanks.

  • How to export from Outlook 2011 to Outlook 2013?

As an Outlook user of old when I bought my Mac I was keen to try out Outlook 2011 for Mac which managed to import my Windows PSTs without any issues.
However, now I have a Windows 8 machine running Outlook 2013 I want to go the other way and I don't see any easy way of doing so.
I'm hoping that someone can tell me how I export all of my mail from Outlook 2011 to Outlook 2013
without having to buy a 3rd party tool given the investment I've already made in the Microsoft platform.
    Many thanks in advance.

    Hi,
As in my estimation, it’s not viable to export Outlook 2011 to Outlook 2013 Windows 8 without having any third party tool, somehow without any payment it is possible, by using any free trial version for limited file conversion you can try any reliable third
party tool but for multiple or unlimited Mac OLM files conversion you have to make use of a third party tool. In the midst of various third party tools it’s too complicated to find out that, which tool is reliable for making this conversion.
Or else can try manual procedure for this conversion, but its lengthy and no surety. Outlook Mac Exporter software is one of the reliable tool for exporting Mac Outlook 2011 items to PST file format. You also can try this tool and I am sure it will provide
you desiring Outcome by exporting OLM files to PST file format.
