Exporting Photoshop Prefs and Presets (CS5)

Question

I'm looking for a convenient way to transport my photoshop preferences from one machine to another on a regular basis. Ideally the settings (Tool Presets, Keyboard Shortcuts, Color Settings, Workspaces, etc) would be stored on a jump drive.
Should I export the entire Preferences folder?
Should the tool presets and styles be stored separately?

Copying preference files from one machine to a different one is an open invitation to trouble and grief somewhere, sometime down the line.
Consider recording an action while you go through the motions of setting all your preferences.
Re-setting the preferences after you trash them will be as easy as running the action.  The action can easily and safely be transported in a flash drive or similar device.
