Exporting processed messages from adapter engine monitoring to excel

Hey experts,
I have some messages that are processed successfully. I can see them in the message monitoring for adapter engine in the RWB. I want to know if there is a way to export these messages to excel file.
Also we have a files archived by PI with a .001 extension attached to them. Is there a way to open these files and look at the processed messages?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards.

  • Problem posting message from adapter engine to IS

    Hello,
We experience the next problem. We use JMS sender adapter to post message into XI. Message comes into the adapter engine and tries to post it into integration server. http://<host>:8000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry
When posting we get the (very generic) error:
    Received HTTP response code 500..
The Adapter engine does a retry every 5 minutes.
After the 3th retry most of the status of the message in the adapter engine is set to NON_DELIVERED.
However for what ever reason sometimes  the 2nd or 3th time the message does get processed to the IS.
Is there anyone who experienced similar problems or does anyone know a solution for this.
    tnx
    Emile

    Hi,
Is this the problem with JMS adapter or with any other Adapter.
<b>8000</b>, is this the same port in smicm-->services. B'cos sometimes people might have a different instance number even.
    Cheers,
    Siva Maranani.

  • Adapter Engine monitoring doesn't show messages

    I have 2 scenarios
    1. Synch HTTP -> Synch RFC
    2. Synch HTTP -> Synch BPM -> Synch RFC
In case 1 Adapter Engine monitoring shows all messages correctly
In case 2 there is no entry for HTTP Sender system only BPM->SAP System.
Could you help me why RWB doesn't show it?

    denis,
just to add to what moorthy has told. IDOC and HTTP adapters interact directly with the INTEGRATION ENGINE on the ABAP STACK while, the other adapters interact with the ADAPTER ENGINE available on the J2EE STACK.
That is why, you do not gind the same on the RWB --> ADAPTER MONITORING.
Also, the reason why you do not have a SENDER HTTP and IDOC adapter.

  • MDB,MDB container or JMS adapter stops processing messages from JMS queue

    Hi guys,
we have created a component using Enterprise Java Beans, let's say a product catalog, deployed it on a Glassfish v2 instance, and connected it to a legacy system using JMS and Sun MQ v4.1 as messaging system. The catalog component thus starts one MDB that listens on a JMS queue, let's say a queue named catalog_business_events_in, and waits for incoming messages, i.e. in our case update events. The problem is, that in general this approach works well, but sometimes the MDBs/JMS adapter stops for some reason fetching and processing messages from the JMS queue. We don't know why - no exceptions, etc.. Seems to be a Glassfish EJB container, JMS adapter or Sun MQ configuration issue. It seems to be that our component is not the problem.
The messages are compressed/uncompressed by Sun MQ automatically. We actually have 2 Sun MQ instances in clustered mode running to have some kind of failover - no HA cluster, yet. Sun MQ instances are accessed from Glassfish instances running in different Glassfish clusters - so we have a dedicated Sun MQ cluster not a Sun MQ instance per Glassfish instance. Each Glassfish instance is configured such that it knows both Sun MQ instances to allow automatic failover.
Has someone an idea, why the MDBs/ MDB container/ JMS adapter - stops processing messages? We are kind of puzzled as it happens more often now and apparently when traffic is (very) low not high!
    Thanks for your help.
    Cheers,
    Martin

  • Duplication of messages in Integration Engine Monitoring

I send a file from sender(File System) to receiver (BPM). 1 sender 1 receiver.
There are 2 entries of sender to receiver in Integration Engine Monitoring. These rows are identical.
Quality of Service for File adapter is exactly once.
    Could anyone expain this duplication?
Adapter Engine  monitoring shows one message of sender

    Hi,
pls see the below note for help.
    note number: 821267 File FAQ.
. FTP Sender File Processing in Cluster Environment
Q: When running the File Adapter in an environment with more than a single J2EE server instance, the same file is fetched by multiple cluster nodes at once. How do I solve this problem?
A: Initially, please make sure that you do NOT use the processing mode "Test" for your File Sender channel. This mode is intended to be used only for testing purposes and is not guaranteed to work in a cluster environment.
Additionally, please activate the "Advanced Mode" for the respective sender channel or upgrade to SP11 Patch Level 2 or SP12. No further configuration changes are necessary.

  • Changing Exactly-Once-in-Order Processing in the Adapter Engine

During some issues with hanging messages in some communication channels I noticed that messages for other receivers were also on hold. So adapter engine was processing all messages EOIO while Integration Server does that per receiver.
I found the [solution in the SAP Help |http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/45/13b942f14d29efe10000000a114a6b/content.htm] but I am not able to access the mentioned link: http://<host><port>/MessagingSystem/migration.jsp
Error message I got is: 404 not found.
Looks like something changed! I checked some simular links like http://<host>:50000/MessagingSystem/monitor/monitor.jsp and that works fine.
(I also checked the role SAP_XI_ADMINISTRATOR_J2EE was included in my userprofile)
Please help me finding what I do wrong...or what has changed.

    Hi Sunil,
ok, but do you know how what happened with the
    http://<host>:50000/MessagingSystem/migration.jsp
I need that link to change the EOIO processing in the adapter engine.

  • Message in adapter engine

    Hi all,
We monitor messages in adapter engine through RWB.
Can anyone tell me where these messages are stored?

    hi,
it has the misconception that RWB uses the same data base as of sxmb_moni.
but this is not true. actually RWB has a java componenet and IE is  a abap componenet.
RWB getting tha data from SXMB_MONI  db(abap table) through the jrfc call and storing it into the XI_AF_MSG table. this can be verified because, when u try to fatch payload for the sych message in RWB ,it is showing payload is deleted to save memory . but the same message with the payload can be displayed at SXMB_MONI .but  for this u need to set the retention period at sxmb_adm---intigration engine configuration.by default value for this is 0 days.please have a look of below link.
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/wiki?path=/display/xi/xi%252btables
the XI_AF_MSG_AUDIT  table stored the detail of all the audit log.thats why the no of entrieds in this table is more than XI_AF_MSG table.
now Q is how to access these DB.
these DB can be access through the DB tool say SQLplus.
to get the total no of entries byststus u can use the fllowing query.
    select status, count(1) as
    current_number from sap[sid]db.xi_af_msg
    group by status;

  • CCMS Adapter Engine monitoring

    Hi,
CCMS has been configured in our land scape long back. this configuration gets data from adapter engine and display it. We need to modify this. When we checked the configuration all Integration engine errors are being gathered using standard MTE classes and respective auto reaction methods are set.
But where as for Adapter engine monitoring a custom MTE's are created in below format.
    <SID>\<SID> 00 Serv 2345672 pidev\Services\Adapter Framework\Messaging System\Sender Services\BS_Econ\Error Backlog
This has no standard method assigned to it. Searched over SDN, no GRMG is configured for polling this data. Please help in understanding how data can be polled for CCMS with out a method?

  • Reg: Error in adapter Engine Monitoring

    Hi Guys,
In my RFC to File Scenario i got error as Adapter message property was configured was mandatory element but there is no Dynamic ocnfiguration elementin XI MEssage Header. This is occur in adapter engine monitoring in RWB.
    Thanks

This error comes if you there is a problem in passing the file via dynamic configuration
for this if you want temporary solution like filename not necessarily be dynamic then go to receiver file adapter then
adapter specific message attributes deselect filed Failif file name does not.... sme option where you can uncheck the failure option
and in this case need to provide the filename and file will get generated with this filename if there is no filename generates using dynamic configuration
for this to resolve permanently then check the filename is passed or not  to file adapter in moni in dynamicconfiguratuoin tab of callAdapter pipeline service

  • Automatic restart of Error-Message in Adapter-Engine (Job?)

    Hi,
we are working on PI 7.11 and facing following problem:
Often in message-monitoring error-messages are forgotten because of wrong date-selections by the monitorer (not enough days back). It would be very nice, if there is a function witch is repeating error-messages in adapter-engine automaticly and witch can be scheduled.
Does anybody know something about an excisting program / function on PI?
    Regards
    Jürg

    Hi,
By default if any failure occurs in adapter engine (in case of receiver, during delivery to target system)
it will retry 3 times after a period interval of 5 minutes..this is by default even this can be change if needed with the help of the proeprties at NWA/VA...
but in case of failures at IE level (mappings,...) then you need to schedule the report RSXMB_RESTART_MESSAGES....
search SDN if like to know more about the reports...

  • Archiving message in Adapter Engine in XI 3.0

    Dear all,
Could you please explain the procedure of Archiving Messages in Adapter Engine in XI 3.0.
I have read many blogs regarding deleting messages in Adapter Engine, but nowhere i can see about Archiving.
I have been told that activating and scheduling "Default Version Archive Job" in RWB->Components->Adapter Engine->Background Processing would solve the purpose.
But while activating, i am unale to set rules, as it gives error " Rules are not allowed for jobs with set 'archive edited messages only' flag."
    Thanks and regards

  • Failed Messages In Adapter Engine in Pi 7.1 EHP1

    Hi All ,
We have observed that Java stack AE  shows some error messages, but when we tried to open those failed messages, shows they were already processed successfully. And observed that this case is only happens in java stack only, we couldn't find any error messages in ABAP Stack moni. We thought this might be java stack issue.
Please find the below screen shots attached for your reference,
But above failed messages processed successfully in adapter engine please find below screen shot,
ABAP Stack Moni: no messages .
    Regards ,
    Ravindar.a

    Hi ,
    Thanks for reply..
Actually issue happened at that moment. But we were resend all the failed messages and they were processed successfully. We have observed no error messages found in ABAP stack MONI. In Java Stack adapter engine still observe the same error messages showing.

  • Messages from Adapter framework  to IS disappear

During processing of interfaces, it happens some times that the sending of messages from Adapter Framework to Integration Server is broken but no status message is traced. Before this break, the messages’ state is correctly visible on integration server (SXMB_MONI), after that, messages are no more contained in persistence layer of the adapter framework or of the integration server. So it’s very difficult to know which messages have been processed, and for this reason there is a great effort for application/functional team to reprocess interfaces’ file.
After the last succesfully processed message, there are a lot of log messages on application and default trace of this type:
    for location com.sap.aii.adapter.file.File2XI.processFileList():
Module Exception 'com.sap.aii.af.mp.module.ModuleException: senderChannel 'd902100e953f3e15b0e04b3caf9dc415': Catching exception calling messaging system' found, cause: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.ConfigException: Some of the IS access information is not available. SLDAcess property may be set to true, but SLD is not available.
Channel CC_File_OUT02_1058: Sending file failed with com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.ConfigException: Some of the IS access information is not available. SLDAcess property may be set to true, but SLD is not available. - continue processing
Delivery Exception for guid'87b54890-ae37-11da-c751-001125a5fff4' - non recoverable error, retry anyway
For location com.sap.aii.adapter.file.File2XI.addAuditLog( ... ssageKey, AuditLogStatus, String, String,Object[]):
    FILE_ERR_211
This behavior is independent of interface type and happens randomly (about 2-3 times a week).
We try, without success, to implement a workaround setting SLDaccess parameter to false for AF CPA cache service and specifying the xiadapter.isconfig.<parameters> for adapter service. With this configuration File Adapter didn’t work and CPA cache didn’t contain any comunicaton channels. Maybe we have to set the correct value of parameter directoryURL (which it is?).
    Thank a lot in advance
    Danilo Vaccarella

Thank you for your suggestion, but nothing seems to be wrong in configuration (however I'm contuining my checks). In the meantime, are there other suggestions?
